Im always happy to arrange a meet & greet beforehand,especially if your dog will be staying overnight with my chihuahua Buddy.I want both dogs to feel comfortable and I rather take the time to introduce them probably and make sure its a good match. Your dogs safety and wellbeing always comes first. Im a very attentive dog owner and pay close attention to body language behaviour energy levels and anything that seems unusual. My own chihuahua is a senior rescue with a heart murmur so I have experience being particularly mindful of breathing stress and changes in wellbeing.

“Sherlock has stayed with Arpana a few times over the past couple of weeks while we had lots of family visiting for a wedding. We’ve never really felt comfortable leaving Sherlock before, but after seeing Arpana’s profile and how much of a dog lover she is, we decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did. From the very first meeting, Sherlock took to Arpana and her family straight away. She kindly welcomed him into her home when we dropped him off, and it was clear how dog-friendly and welcoming the environment was. Each time we brought him back, he would pull eagerly on his lead and sniff his way right up to the door, excited to see them again. A big part of that is down to her children, who clearly adore dogs and were wonderful with Sherlock — he had the best time playing, especially with her daughter. He always came home tired out, but in the happiest way. Arpana kept in touch with regular updates, which was really reassuring for us as slightly anxious owners leaving our dog for the first time. She was also very patient with our many questions and flexible with timing, which we really appreciated. Overall, the experience has made us feel so much more comfortable about leaving Sherlock with a sitter. Our dog boarded with Owen for 3 weeks. He communicated well both before and during her stay. Owen sent pictures and videos to keep us updated which, put our minds at rest. She was happy going to Owen who was very friendly, and immediately displayed she was in a happy and safe environment. On collection Owen gave us a further update and our dog was happy and looked well care for. We are delighted to have someone we completely trust, we highly recommend Owen for dog boarding.
Another five-star stay for Hestia at Marcela! We received regular photo updates and detailed check-ins on walks and meals throughout her visit. By the second stay, Hestia settled in as if she'd always been there. We couldn't be happier knowing Hestia is in such caring hands whenever we're away.

Paulina was brilliant with Belle, she put me at easy, as I was anxious leaving her with someone she didn’t know, we meet once prior to leaving her. But needn’t of worried she had the best time, and wasn’t bothered when we picked her up, she just carried on playing with the toys. Paulina kept us updated with photos so I could see she was fine, even though I couldn’t reply as I was busy at my daughter’s wedding. Would 100% recommend her. Another 10/10 stay with Rima. I can’t overstate how comfortable and happy I am leaving the dogs with her, and how comfortable and happy the dogs are staying with her! They’re so loved and well taken care of, with regular walks and daily photo and video updates. She’s able to meet their needs and deal with medications and special issues. I fully recommend and we will definitely use Rima again!
I was really anxious about leaving my Frenchie, Betsy, with strangers as she’s only ever stayed with family when I’ve gone away. But after finding Andy & Natalie, all my worries disappeared! They arranged two meet & greets so we could chat about all of Betsy’s funny little quirks, plus a trial sleepover — and she absolutely loved playing with their lovely Spaniel, Coco. While I was away, I got regular “pupdates” with photos and videos, which made me feel so reassured knowing she was happy and well cared for. Andy & Natalie were fantastic throughout — kind, professional, and genuinely dog-loving. I would 100% leave Betsy with them again! 🐾

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.
