Everything went very smoothly and I was really happy with Yuki’s stay. Communication was easy throughout, I received regular updates, and Yuki settled in very well. It was clear she was comfortable, well cared for and enjoyed her walks and time. Wei followed her routine and instructions carefully, and the whole experience felt very reassuring. I’d happily book with her again.

Jimmy had my furbaby for a long weekend and he was great. His apartment is dog friendly and clean. I received updates and photos which I enjoy, and followed meal time instructions, he even administered medication. I could see my furbaby had a great weekend, just like me! Francis exceeded all my expectations, i highly recommend him! I find it so hard to trust anyone with my dog Leo as he’s so big and strong and has very specific needs but Francis put me completely at ease. He is super attentive, friendly and caring. Francis made so much effort speaking with me beforehand to discuss in more detail and understand Leo, he did a meet with Leo which went very well and meant both Leo and I were comfortable to hand over to Francis. He gave me lovely updates on how Leo was doing and did loads of activities with Leo. In fact, Leo had such a great time he wanted to stay with Francis! Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
