“Mango was with Taffany (Siu Yung) for 2 days and she took excellent care of him. She took him for walks through out the day and kept us informed with regular updates with pictures and mesages. She took him out during the rain as well and blow dried him. One could only imagine if someone can be so loving and caring. Taffany and her family kept Mango super happy during his stay. Mango came back super happy after the stay. I would definitely recommend Taffany to anyone and everyone and looking forward for another stay in the future. We had a long term request that was fairly last minute but she was able to do a meet & greet and trial night and we felt super comfortable with them right away. I have two dogs that both have higher needs (separation anxiety and pain management) and she handled their medication perfectly, and her husband was able to help ensure the dogs were never left alone. We got a daily photo update with pictures and videos of our very happy, comfortable and loved dogs, and a weekly text update all about how they were doing. Even though the request was last minute, Indy still accommodated a meet before booking anything, which went well. Layla was so very well looked after and cared for by the family, I had constant updates via text with pictures and videos, she was having the best time. I couldn’t recommend Indy enough, I’ll absolutely be rebooking when the time comes that Layla needs boarding/ dog sitting again”

If your dog stays with me, I will follow your routines and feeding plans and give them a lovely holiday in a happy, safe and loving environment. They will have regular exercise and playtime. I always like to arrange a ‘meet and greet’ with your dog so that we can get to know each other and so that your dog can become familiar with my home. I have 2 fur babies of my own, a small and medium sized dogs who are friendly and love to have doggy friends come to stay. I am a dog lover, who has had dogs both as a child and as an adult, so has lots of experience. I look after small to medium sized dogs and I accept dogs of any age, young or senior and am based in Hornchurch, Essex. I am insured, DBS Checked and hold a Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Diploma I work from home, part time, doing Accounts so looking after the dogs just fits in with my day. I would not be leaving the dogs for any length of time. I have a fenced in garden which allows the dogs the space and freedom to play. I live close to the park and fields for walking the dogs (if owner allows).

Our dog, Dahlia, stayed with Emily for 10 days and 9 nights while we are on holiday. This was the first time that Dahlia had spent time away from our family. Despite one being quite anxious, they both settled in quickly and felt immediately at home. Lauren has a fab house and big garden so the doggies have plenty room to run around and explore. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
