About: I’ve been around animals my whole life - I grew up with a British Shorthair from age 5, and have also had a parrot, hamster, and rabbit over the years. More recently I’ve been the go-to person for friends’ cats (including Maine Coons, Ragdolls) and small dogs when they’re away. I work in finance and am mostly remote, so your pet gets consistent company and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone. I’m in a spacious flat with no other pets or children - calm, clean, and easy to settle into. I’m also an active runner, so if you have an energetic dog, they’ll be well exercised. I provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Special rates are available for longer stays. For boarding, I only accept multiple pets when they come from the same household. I work mostly remotely, so your pet gets consistent company throughout the day. I can be quite flexible around pick-ups and drop-offs - just reach out! I live in a spacious, tidy flat with a balcony that stays closed during visits. No kids, no other pets. Your pets are welcome on the sofa - make yourself at home! I do have stainless steel bowls, water fountain, cat litter box and scratching post available but you’re welcome to bring your own if preferred!
“Wonderful dog sitters, from meet and greet through to the end of Toby's stay; great communication, nice place to stay, practical and easy going and very. very nice to my dog! Toby will be back :-)”

“Excellent cat sitter. She followed all instructions perfectly, kept us updated throughout, and took great care of our cats, who were happy and relaxed when we returned. The house was spotless, the litter trays were impeccably maintained, and she even went above and beyond by helping with a few extra household matters while we were away. Despite the short visits, she made sure to play with the cats. We’d happily book her again and highly recommend her.”

“Marina took excellent care of our elderly cat Vegas while we were on holiday. She kept in touch every day with messages and loads of photos, meaning we had nothing to worry about and could enjoy our holiday. I highly recommend Marina to look after your beloved pets.”

“Kay took great care of my cat and really spent time to keep my cat company, feed and play with her. Kay kept my place clean as well which was not asked. I can tell she genuinely loves animals. From the photos and vidoes she sent to me, I can see my cat loves her too. I can recommend her to any pet owners and will return for future services.”

About: I have cared for my friend's pets while they are away on holiday. It's a great time for all of us with lots of walks, home-made healthy food and cuddles. Avid walker/runner, will make sure they get their 10k steps in every day :) Only small dogs to stay at my home for now as I have my own toy poodle. For cats I am happy to drop by and feed them / clean out litter boxes. I am currently working full time so will make the most out of my weekends with outdoors acitivities (weather permitting). Expect lots of walks by the river and play time with your pet! In my home: I live in a flat and keep the balcony door shut. Pets can stay on the sofa and the living room is fully pet-safe. In your home: depending on your home I will make sure to follow any safety instructions.
“Rachel is a true star! She is the first sitter for our cats and they loved her! She was very disciplined and lovely with our cats. She was sending me updates and pictures every day which made me feel happy and connected. My cats loved her and I am sure they will miss her ❤️”

“Rebooked with Araceli for a weekend away from the house and our darling boy Cookie was very happy to see her! Araceli sent us pictures, updates, and stayed on top of communication the whole time so we didn’t worry. Won’t be looking for other people now that I know she’s PERFECT for the job.”

“What can I say! Id give more stars if I could! Carmel was absolutely amazing from start to finish she went above and beyond in caring for my fur baby. It was the first time we've had to leave him since he turned up and chose us in December 25. Carmel sent photos and videos daily and Reggie loved the fuss and attention she gave him. I would highly recommend using Carmel if you want the peace of mind that your little one is going to be truly looked after and loved whilst your away.”

“Sacha & Gina were perfect cat-sitters. They were friendly, communicative, cared for our cat Soda perfectly & gave us daily updates which made us feel like she was in great hands. We’d definitely have Sacha & Gina look after Soda again & would reccomend them to any other pet parents.”

About: 🌿 Loving, Certified & Reliable Cat and Dog Care — And You Can Truly Relax on Holiday 🌿 Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort are my top priority. Whether it’s a cozy nap, playful enrichment, or calm companionship, I care for every animal as if they were my own — with patience, love, and respect for their individual needs. --- 🏡 Pet Hosting Policy I host only cats and dogs that are non-aggressive with cats, as I share my home with a gentle resident cat. If your dog isn’t used to being around cats, I’ll gladly offer visits at your home instead — this ensures the best experience for both your pet and mine. 🛑 I cannot host a dog and a cat at the same time, and I only accept dogs that are cat-friendly. --- 💧 Comfort & Cleanliness Your pet will feel at home here. Cats enjoy the same level of care as my own — including filtered, running water from two fountains (not just bowls left out all day). Hygiene and wellbeing are central to my care standards. --- 🐾 Experience You Can Trust I have hands-on experience with: Senior pets and those with special needs Administering medications (oral or topical) Calming anxious or shy animals Puppy and kitten basics Multi-pet households I am First Aid + CPR certified — proof available in my profile and during meet & greets. --- 💛 Health & Safety Come First All pets must be up to date with flea treatments before boarding. In case of any signs of fleas or parasites, I will have to escalate the case to platform support to protect the health of all animals in my home. Thank you for understanding. --- 🐶🐱 What I’d Love to Know About Your Pet To tailor care and make your pet feel truly at ease, please share: 1. About: 🩷Hello, I’m Ginevra🩷 Animals have been part of my life since childhood, and caring for them is truly my passion. I have years of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I worked for 2 years in a professional dog daycare, where I gained experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. In addition, I’ve been a trusted pet sitter for over 5 years, providing loving, reliable care in and out of the home. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I make sure your furry family member feels loved and secure while you’re away 🐶🐱🐾 I am currently studying online , so I am always at home and I’m very flexible . I’ll make sure your dog will receive a lot of attention and love.🥰 I live in a flat with access to a communal garden, which is perfect for safe outdoor playtime with your dog. I also provide plenty of toys and a comfortable, cozy bed so your pet can relax and feel at home. I’m sure your dog and I will truly enjoy our time together, going to the park, playing, running, and socializing with other dogs (always safely and appropriately). We’ll have lots of fun, exercise, and happy moments together! 🥳
“Denise was great with Arlo when looked after him. We got photos and updates on how he was and she took the time to meet Arlo before she looked after him. I would recommend Denise to look after your pet.”

About: I’m a true animal lover through and through. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets from dogs, cats, birds, fish to hamsters, rabbits and horses and that hands-on experience shaped the caring approach I bring to every animal I look after. Today I share my home with three adorable mini schnauzers, who keep life fun and active. One of them and I have competed in agility and earned our Canine Good Citizen certification together, so I’m comfortable with basic obedience, focus work, and keeping energetic pups mentally and physically stimulated. I’ve also completed a Canine First Aid course and previously worked at a busy kennel and cattery. That role gave me valuable experience caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats, managing daily routines, supporting nervous or senior pets, and helping owners feel confident while they’re away. Although my full-time career involves caring for people, my heart has always been with animals. I truly enjoy building trust with each pet, learning their unique personality, and giving them the attention, playtime, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s a lively game of fetch, calm cuddle time, or sticking to a specific routine, I treat every animal like part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry (or feathered or scaly!) friends while you’re away you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and well looked after. I am currently working full-time however I have the ability to plan my days accordingly and as flexible as needed. Monday - Sunday availability depending on the needs of the furbaby and their owner. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home. In the pet owner’s home (house-sitting, drop-ins, or walks): I treat the owner’s home with the same care as my own. I follow your exact routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to the letter. I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while still receiving plenty of play, cuddles, and exercise. I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and windows for safety, and I send regular updates with photos so you can see how relaxed and happy your pet is. In my home (boarding or daycare): My house is fully pet-proofed and set up with a secure, fenced garden for safe playtime. I keep a consistent daily routine that includes regular feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My three mini schnauzers are friendly and well-socialized, so new dogs usually settle in quickly. I monitor all pets closely, especially during the first few hours, and separate animals if needed for comfort or safety. Because I’ve completed Canine First Aid training and worked in a kennel, I’m confident handling everything from minor scrapes to emergencies. In both cases, I focus on building trust quickly by being gentle, patient, and attentive. Every pet is treated like part of the family — never left unsupervised in potentially unsafe situations. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pet’s happiness.
About: I have been caring for various dogs on the Rover app for over a year now. Me and my partner (Sham) have cared for all sorts of breeds ranging from chihuahuas to American Akitas! I take care of my family dog whenever my family requires. I have grown up with dogs since I was about 3 years old as my mum has a huge love for them as well. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Dachshund. I am more than happy to go for walks as I do like to have any excuse to be active. I used to work from home mostly but have recently changed jobs and required to go to office more frequently. I can adjust my days and my partner also often steps in to provide care during the week when I’m not home. I have a communal outside area where I can take your pet for some outside time. There are a couple parks close-by. One of which is about a 10-15 minute walk away from me and is a great place to have a walk. I live in a flat that has two bedrooms and quite a large space in the hall and living area. We have taken care of a German Shepherd before and she seemed quite happy with the space.

Carmel was absolutely great at looking after our two cats for 10 days. She was reliable and sent daily updates which wasn’t requested but appreciated. She even had a loaf of bread in our bread bin on arrival home which was so so sweet. She took in a parcel for me too. Thanks Carmel. We will definitely be using you again on our next trip away.
Yvonne cared for my cat Mumma when my husband and I were away for a whole week. Yvonne is very friendly and caring. We had a meet and greet beforehand and went through all the details. I could already tell that Mumma is absolutely comfortable with Yvonne. Her energy matches our cat perfectly. Yvonne was always on time and she did a great job with Mumma. She provided lots of photos and videos of each visits and was very responsive so communication was never an issue. I’m very happy with Yvonne’s service and will definitely book her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Yan looked after our 2 girls while we were away and did a great job. She even watered our garden, which was much appreciated. We got confirmation messages and proof of life photos from her after each visit - no small task given how elusive the girls are. I would happily recommend Yan and will definitely book her again.

Rachel did daily drop-in visits for our 2 cats while we were away for a couple of weeks. She sent a quick update every day, with a photo when ever possible. Came back to find both cats looking great and stress free. Hopefully she will be available next time we need some one to look after the cats.

Shawana was amazing with our two cats! She communicated very well with me while we were away so we didn't have to worry about our kitties! She took great care of them, changing water daily, giving wet food and cleaning litters. She even broomed the floors from the litter ❤️ Our cats love her too, even Mango who is usually a bit scared and shy. We will definitely rebook her in the future! Thank you Shawana ☺️

Shuk Han, was brilliant at looking after my cat Zac, he was a bit stand offish when she 1st came round, but by the end of the week, he was greeting her as soon as she visited. This was the 1st time using a cat sitter, so was a little worried having a stranger into my home, but she was great and reassuring, she gave me plenty of updates and photos, every visit, if your looking for a reliable, friendly cat sitter, please give Shuk Han a chance, she was brilliant. 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
