“We have been using Jim for about a year as our regular dog walker and would encourage anyone looking for a reliable walker to have a look at his profile. Jim has also helped us with puppy visits with our recent new addition and has cared for our cat whilst we’ve been on holiday too. Highly recommended 👍👍”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life - I grew up with a British Shorthair from age 5, and have also had a parrot, hamster, and rabbit over the years. More recently I’ve been the go-to person for friends’ cats (including Maine Coons, Ragdolls) and small dogs when they’re away. I work in finance and am mostly remote, so your pet gets consistent company and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone. I’m in a spacious flat with no other pets or children - calm, clean, and easy to settle into. I’m also an active runner, so if you have an energetic dog, they’ll be well exercised. I provide regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Special rates are available for longer stays. For boarding, I only accept multiple pets when they come from the same household. I work mostly remotely, so your pet gets consistent company throughout the day. I can be quite flexible around pick-ups and drop-offs - just reach out! I live in a spacious, tidy flat with a balcony that stays closed during visits. No kids, no other pets. Your pets are welcome on the sofa - make yourself at home! I do have stainless steel bowls, water fountain, cat litter box and scratching post available but you’re welcome to bring your own if preferred!
“Marina took excellent care of our cat while we were away. We received daily photo / video updates, and our cat really took to her. We would definitely book with Marina again! 🐈⬛❤️”

I'm currently on between jobs, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your dogs. I'm be available Mon - Fri. Looking forward to meeting you & your sidekick. Only walking provided as a service for now. I will explore the dog-sitting option later. Rest assured, your dog will be in good hands - home or not :)

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats of all kinds for over 10 years, starting my petsitting and housesitting journey while studying full-time in South Africa. Over the years, I've gained invaluable experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets. Neighbours, friends, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and care for their fur babies, and I bring that same dedication to every pet I sit for. Having moved to the UK, I miss being surrounded by canine companions and am eager to offer my services to help other pet owners I work full time on weekdays but have a flexible schedule, including working remotely three days a week. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for dog walks after 4pm on weekdays, anytime on weekends and drop-in visits can be arranged to suit your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, organised, and happy to work around different routines to make sure your pet feels comfortable and well cared for. However, I’m happy to provide dog walking and drop-in visits, ensuring your pet gets the attention they need while you're away. I always make sure that pets are in a safe, secure environment and follow any routines you’ve established to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
“Rebooked with Araceli for a weekend away from the house and our darling boy Cookie was very happy to see her! Araceli sent us pictures, updates, and stayed on top of communication the whole time so we didn’t worry. Won’t be looking for other people now that I know she’s PERFECT for the job.”

“Rachel is a true star! She is the first sitter for our cats and they loved her! She was very disciplined and lovely with our cats. She was sending me updates and pictures every day which made me feel happy and connected. My cats loved her and I am sure they will miss her ❤️”

“Denise was great with Arlo when looked after him. We got photos and updates on how he was and she took the time to meet Arlo before she looked after him. I would recommend Denise to look after your pet.”

“Kay took great care of my cat and really spent time to keep my cat company, feed and play with her. Kay kept my place clean as well which was not asked. I can tell she genuinely loves animals. From the photos and vidoes she sent to me, I can see my cat loves her too. I can recommend her to any pet owners and will return for future services.”

About: I have been caring for various dogs on the Rover app for over a year now. Me and my partner (Sham) have cared for all sorts of breeds ranging from chihuahuas to American Akitas! I take care of my family dog whenever my family requires. I have grown up with dogs since I was about 3 years old as my mum has a huge love for them as well. I grew up with a German Shepherd and a Dachshund. I am more than happy to go for walks as I do like to have any excuse to be active. I used to work from home mostly but have recently changed jobs and required to go to office more frequently. I can adjust my days and my partner also often steps in to provide care during the week when I’m not home. I have a communal outside area where I can take your pet for some outside time. There are a couple parks close-by. One of which is about a 10-15 minute walk away from me and is a great place to have a walk. I live in a flat that has two bedrooms and quite a large space in the hall and living area. We have taken care of a German Shepherd before and she seemed quite happy with the space.
“Excellent cat sitter. She followed all instructions perfectly, kept us updated throughout, and took great care of our cats, who were happy and relaxed when we returned. The house was spotless, the litter trays were impeccably maintained, and she even went above and beyond by helping with a few extra household matters while we were away. Despite the short visits, she made sure to play with the cats. We’d happily book her again and highly recommend her.”

About: I’m a true animal lover through and through. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets — dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and horses — and that hands-on experience shaped the caring approach I bring to every animal I look after. Today I share my home with three adorable mini schnauzers, who keep life fun and active. One of them and I have competed in agility and earned our Canine Good Citizen certification together, so I’m comfortable with basic obedience, focus work, and keeping energetic pups mentally and physically stimulated. I’ve also completed a Canine First Aid course and previously worked at a busy kennel and cattery. That role gave me valuable experience caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats, managing daily routines, supporting nervous or senior pets, and helping owners feel confident while they’re away. Although my full-time career involves caring for people, my heart has always been with animals. I truly enjoy building trust with each pet, learning their unique personality, and giving them the attention, playtime, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s a lively game of fetch, calm cuddle time, or sticking to a specific routine, I treat every animal like part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry (or feathered or scaly!) friends while you’re away — you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and well looked after. I am currently working full-time however I have the ability to plan my days accordingly and as flexible as needed. Monday - Sunday availability depending on the needs of the furbaby and their owner. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home. In the pet owner’s home (house-sitting, drop-ins, or walks): I treat the owner’s home with the same care as my own. I follow your exact routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to the letter. I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while still receiving plenty of play, cuddles, and exercise. I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and windows for safety, and I send regular updates with photos so you can see how relaxed and happy your pet is. In my home (boarding or daycare): My house is fully pet-proofed and set up with a secure, fenced garden for safe playtime. I keep a consistent daily routine that includes regular feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My three mini schnauzers are friendly and well-socialized, so new dogs usually settle in quickly. I monitor all pets closely, especially during the first few hours, and separate animals if needed for comfort or safety. Because I’ve completed Canine First Aid training and worked in a kennel, I’m confident handling everything from minor scrapes to emergencies. In both cases, I focus on building trust quickly by being gentle, patient, and attentive. Every pet is treated like part of the family — never left unsupervised in potentially unsafe situations. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pet’s happiness.
“A hundred times thank you, Ola, for looking after our beloved cat! This was the first time we had to leave Fibi for such a long period, and we were quite nervous about it. But Ola took care of everything — not only did she look after Fibi with such care and affection, but through her daily updates, we genuinely felt that Fibi was in safe and loving hands. Ola’s love for animals shines through in everything she does, even in the way she speaks about them. We highly recommend her, and without any hesitation, we’ll book her again — and again — and again!”

Rachel did daily drop-in visits for our 2 cats while we were away for a couple of weeks. She sent a quick update every day, with a photo when ever possible. Came back to find both cats looking great and stress free. Hopefully she will be available next time we need some one to look after the cats.

Carmel is a lovely lady, she genuinely loves the cats she is taking care of. Even before meeting, our cat run straight to her and they formed a bond immediatley. She kept us updated throughout and sent us pics regularly. Thank you so much for taking care of Lloyd.

We have been using Sharmila and Marina’s service for almost a year now and we could not be happier! Sharmila helped us keeping our cats safe during the heatweave. She’s been so nice and went even beyond her planned 30 mins visits. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you again 🥹

Shawana was amazing with our two cats! She communicated very well with me while we were away so we didn't have to worry about our kitties! She took great care of them, changing water daily, giving wet food and cleaning litters. She even broomed the floors from the litter ❤️ Our cats love her too, even Mango who is usually a bit scared and shy. We will definitely rebook her in the future! Thank you Shawana ☺️

Abby was absolutely amazing! My cat was so happy with her, and I could tell she was really comfortable and well looked after. Abby even managed to teach her a few tricks! Abby went above and beyond throughout the whole stay, kept me updated, and made everything completely stress-free. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Abby again and can't recommend her highly enough!
Shuk Han, was brilliant at looking after my cat Zac, he was a bit stand offish when she 1st came round, but by the end of the week, he was greeting her as soon as she visited. This was the 1st time using a cat sitter, so was a little worried having a stranger into my home, but she was great and reassuring, she gave me plenty of updates and photos, every visit, if your looking for a reliable, friendly cat sitter, please give Shuk Han a chance, she was brilliant. 😊

Josephine took excellent care of my cat. It was clear that Moya felt comfortable and happy in her care. Josephine updated me with regular photos and messages so I could feel relaxed and sure that everything is fine. She is absolutely a reliable and caring person and cat sitter.

Our pet sitter did an excellent job looking after our cat, especially during the recent extreme hot weather. She was reliable, caring, and made sure our cat stayed comfortable and well cared for despite the challenging conditions. We really appreciated the regular updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about animals, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommended!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
