About: I have taken care of my aunt's young, feverish dachshund since 2022, and I have been trusted to feed, bathe, walk, and play with him. I'm currently a student studying at the university of Kent so I have more than enough of time to watch over your dogs or cats. I care for pets by following their routines, providing food, walks, play, and plenty of attention, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and comfort at home.

About: I’ve been around and adored both cats and dogs from my childhood. I’ve never understood the great divide between cat and dog lovers…why can’t I be both?! I’m a remote freelance designer so have a very flexible schedule that can shift around the needs of your pet. I don’t have pets or family of my own, so your furry friend can be my priority! Without the need to go into an office during the day, I have the ability to care for your pet in the comfort of their own environment.

About: I’ve had own cats my whole adult life. For the last 6 years I have fostered cats in my home for the RSPCA, over the summer I had the pleasure of raising 5 kittens from 1 day old, that was amazing! I’m very confident with cats and seem to have a natural way with all cat personalities, I’m also very confident with any medication requirements. This is a cat only home for boarding, no dogs I’m afraid. All kitties will be kept indoors at all times but are welcome to roam the house. If needed I do have a separate quiet room for nervous kitties. I also offer cat & dog sitting and dog walks. It is great to be able to look after animals in their own homes too. I’m very experienced with home visits and am trusted by many owners and their lovely pets. I work from my home and am here for all the kitties that stay with me 24/7. They will have all the care they need at any time of the day or night. This is an indoor cat house only. They will be very safe and welcome to roam the house and come for cuddles or there is always a separate quiet room for nervous kitties.

Our cat Martha was very well looked after by Eddie (Kakuen), he genuinely loves cats and was very punctual collecting keys, sending daily updates, feeding her etc. He has taken care of Martha a couple of times and she looked very happy having play time with Eddie, we'll definitely book him again in the future :)
Naoko looked after Wilfrid again, this time during a longer trip, and she did a fantastic job. It’s so comforting to have a repeat sitter who truly knows and cares for your pet - especially during a heatwave! Super reliable, amazing updates, and Wilfrid was perfectly content when we got back.

We absolutely love Eka!! She was so professional, communicative and our cats really warmed to her quickly. She sent us loads of videos and photos so made us feel very at ease - this was our second time using her and we will 100% be rebooking! Thank you so much ☺️

We used Bianca to look after our cat Esme while we were away on holiday for nine days, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Esme is usually very shy and tends to hide from strangers, so I was nervous about how she'd settle. From the very first visit, Bianca gained Esme's trust and affection. I don't know how she does it, she's a real cat whisperer! Bianca's updates, photos and videos were so frequent and so lovely that they almost brought tears to my eyes! I missed Esme enormously, and those little windows into her world were really touching. She even sent the most adorable videos on my birthday, which I was celebrating away from home. Beyond the basics (food, water and litter: all managed impeccably), Bianca made sure Esme was truly thriving. She had daily play sessions with her, which was wonderful for her enrichment while we were away, and she really made such a fuss of her. Esme was loved, stimulated and happy, not just looked after. We were away during a very warm spell too, and Bianca handled everything that came with that seamlessly - including some last-minute changes to the plan and sorting an evening light we'd completely forgotten to set a timer for. I felt completely safe and secure the entire time knowing Esme was in her hands. We will absolutely be using Bianca again. If you're looking for someone kind, attentive and genuinely wonderful with cats - look no further :-)

Sharon provides a superb service leaving us peace of mind when away. Sharon has just completed a 2 week booking looking after our 2 senior cats. Daily feeds, oral medication and litter tray maintenance plus quality time each visit interacting with the cats. Sharon established a good relationship with one of our cats and gained the trust of the other through daily contact. Sharon is thoroughly reliable and trustworthy with great communication, sending us daily pics and updates ensuring we could enjoy our holiday knowing the cats were in good hands. Highly recommend.

Emma has taken care of our cats for a week and what a marvellous job she has done. Our cats are finally friends🤗Emma came twice every day to feed and play with them and she has done a wonderful job. Cats were fed, safe and she played with them every day. We do recommend her as she is such a pleasure to be around and our cat loved her. We have another who is very shy but she came out few days in and stopped hiding. Thank you Emma for the great time you spent with babies and for the wonderful care you provided🥰

Nick was great cat sitter taking good care of our kittens and home. He very quickly built up a rapport with Art and Craft when first introduced. Sent some great pics and videos of our cheeky girls getting up to mischief playing around the house. Highly recommend.
Shannon looked after our two girls for 11 days. She sent lots of cute video and photo updates so we didn't feel guilty on holiday. She spent lots of time with them, not just looking after their food and litter but giving them lots of love and pets. She even played the bouncy ball game. :) It's clear that Shannon really cares about cats and likes getting to know their quirky personalities.

Loved using Natalie as our Catsitter and will definitely rebook! I got daily pics and videos of my cat getting a big fuss, he loved her and he barely noticed I was gone. Natalie ensured my fussy cat took his full course of antibiotics whilst I was away, which saved me a lot of stress and worry. Thank you Natalie!

Paulina was absolutely fantastic looking after our cat, Albie, this weekend. She was incredibly responsive throughout and kept us updated with the most amazing photos, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. She genuinely went above and beyond – we had a cat food delivery arrive while we were away and she kindly unpacked and sorted everything for us, which was hugely appreciated. It was also clear that she spent quality time playing with Albie and giving him lots of attention – he looked like he had a great time with her! We came home to a very happy cat and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paulina to anyone looking for a caring, reliable and thoughtful cat sitter. Thank you again, Paulina!

Malgorzata was great with my cat, Ivy! Ivy currently has a sensitive stomach and Malgorzata ensured she followed guidelines to help prevent her be sick. She made sure Ivy was hydrated, and played with her lots. Ivy can be picky in who she likes, and Ivy really liked her! Thank you again for being Ivy’s cat-sitter! 🥰

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
