“Hope was fabulous! Went above and beyond, kept me updated and looked after my little Nico so so well. She even helped me out when I had a last minute change of plans and needed some additional visits. Would recommend her 100%.”

“Drew is super attentive and reliable. Great communication from start to finish and feels like a very safe pair of hands for our pup. Basil looked like he had a lovely time! Thank you, Drew.”

About: I’ve been around and adored both cats and dogs from my childhood. I’ve never understood the great divide between cat and dog lovers…why can’t I be both?! I’m a remote freelance designer so have a very flexible schedule that can shift around the needs of your pet. I don’t have pets or family of my own, so your furry friend can be my priority! Without the need to go into an office during the day, I have the ability to care for your pet in the comfort of their own environment.

“Hi I was delighted with Larissa's care for my cat. She is naturally good at making cats feel happy with her, took time to meet and greet first, prompt arrival and gave detailed update and photos. She went to some effort to make sure Max was in a safe place and secure before leaving, I shall definitely book Larissa again and recommend her to others”

“Was the first time when I left Milo alone..and I was terrified🥺 but with Justina everything was more than amazing. She is so kind and so good with cats! I can't thank her enough! Thank you ! ❤️”

“Rachael has been absolutely fantastic with Jupiter. She looked after him for a week and she made sure he was being fed, cleaned and she was also playing with him all the time. I would recommend Rachael as she is 100% reliable. We would definitely ask her to cat sit Jupi once again! ”

About: I’ve recently started pet sitting for a huge array of friends because I’m working from home practically all the time. I’m conscientious and want to learn all about your pet before looking after them and giving them all the care they need. I run my own book agency so I’m in control of my own time and very flexible. I’m also a night owl so happy to stay up late if needs be. I have a small flat, which I keep clean, tidy, well-ventilated and safe, and I’m a short walk from a local park. I’m very happy to entertain pets if I have the time.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter over the Easter weekend! From the start, communication was excellent—friendly, reliable, and reassuring. My cat can be a little shy, but he warmed up quickly, which says a lot. I got regular updates and photos, and it was clear he was being cared for with lots of love. I came home to a happy cat. ”

“Margaret was incredible with Envy, she took her on long walks, drop-ins full of cuddles. My dog warmed up to her very quickly. She provided images and updates on what they got up to throughout the visits. I highly recommend her and will be reaching out to her when I need. Thanks again Margaret!”

“Thank you for checking on Archie and thank you for the picture updates during the drop in 👍🏽 Good communication and looks like Archie enjoyed his time with Arianne judging from the pictures 🤗”

About: I have taken care of my aunt's young, feverish dachshund since 2022, and I have been trusted to feed, bathe, walk, and play with him. I'm currently a student studying at the university of Kent so I have more than enough of time to watch over your dogs or cats. I care for pets by following their routines, providing food, walks, play, and plenty of attention, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and comfort at home.
“Megan was great with Kobe. He can be nervous meeting new people and she knew exactly how to be with him to make him feel at ease. She sent lots of photo updates and photos and Kobe looked like he was having a great time!”

About: I’ve had own cats my whole adult life. For the last 6 years I have fostered cats in my home for the RSPCA, over the summer I had the pleasure of raising 5 kittens from 1 day old, that was amazing! I’m very confident with cats and seem to have a natural way with all cat personalities, I’m also very confident with any medication requirements. This is a cat only home for boarding, no dogs I’m afraid. All kitties will be kept indoors at all times but are welcome to roam the house. If needed I do have a separate quiet room for nervous kitties. I also offer cat & dog sitting and dog walks. It is great to be able to look after animals in their own homes too. I’m very experienced with home visits and am trusted by many owners and their lovely pets. I work from my home and am here for all the kitties that stay with me 24/7. They will have all the care they need at any time of the day or night. This is an indoor cat house only. They will be very safe and welcome to roam the house and come for cuddles or there is always a separate quiet room for nervous kitties.
About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. Look forward to hearing from you : ) I'm due to start my sabbatical leave from the 1st of September through to 1 of December 2021, therefore, i will have a lot of free time for downtime and lots of cuddles and earn a little something whilst enjoying the company of lovable pets I am often referred to as a life coach and personal security amongst friends and family : ) A genuinely warm, bubbly individual with a positive outlook. Also very reliable, trustworthy and honest person.

Paulina was really responsive and always kept us up to date while looking after our elusive cat for a week, all of our instructions were followed closely and we returned to a happy healthy cat, thanks again! We would definitely use Paulina again and recommend her 100% for cat sitting!

We couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter than Emma. We trusted her to look after our 15-year-old cat, Lily, who requires medication twice a day, and Emma was incredibly accommodating, adjusting her schedule to make sure Lily received everything she needed. From our very first meeting, Emma took the time to get to know Lily and asked all the right questions, which immediately gave us confidence that she genuinely cared about her wellbeing. Choosing a cat sitter instead of a cattery was the best decision we could have made. Lily was able to stay in the comfort of her own home and familiar surroundings, which made such a difference for her. While we were away, Emma kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was so reassuring to know Lily was happy, safe, and being so well cared for. Emma also made sure our home was secure after every visit, which we really appreciated. Thank you so much, Emma. It was so lovely to be able to enjoy our time away knowing Lily was safe and happy at home. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter. ❤️ 😻❤️😻❤️😻❤️
Paulina was absolutely exceptional with our cat. It was the first time using the app and she made me feel at ease and was very good in getting to know us both. I'm writing this as I just got home and our cat is so calm, shes normally super needy when left too long, so grateful to Paulina! You should definitely book her!

Keziah was amazing! She took great care of our Spike. She took time to play with him, and he loved her. She was incredibly responsive and provided us with helpful updates. She even took out our trash at the end. We would definitely use Keziah again. She is professional and our cat loved her.
A true cat whisperer! My cat is usually super shy around new people, but she warmed up to Rossella almost immediately—not scared at all! Rossella is a total cat whisperer. I loved the updates and came home to a very happy kitty. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Natalie was wonderful. Our lovely cat was very happy when we came home and we felt he had been really well looked after. Thank you, Natalie, for being so communicative on WhatsApp so we were regularly updated and for being so patient with me (a very neurotic cat mum!)

My boys absolutely adore Naoko! They’re always so comfortable and happy with her, which gives me complete peace of mind whenever I’m away. Naoko has been looking after my boys for almost four years, and she has always been incredibly caring, reliable, and attentive. We’re so sad that we’re moving farther away from her because she truly is the best cat sitter we could have asked for. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
