About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. In the summer of 2024, a friend entrusted us with her energetic and reactive four-year-old Cockapoo. I took several courses and worked closely with a professional dog trainer to teach him to leave things on the ground, walk nicely on a leash, settle down when needed, greet guests calmly, tolerate grooming and drying, get ready for walks without stress, and stay calm at home. While we saw real progress, it was inconsistent, and after four months, Pavel and I realized we weren’t ready to live in constant stress over Yosi’s setbacks long-term. Yosi found a loving new home, and now we’ve embraced the joy of hosting dogs temporarily — giving them love, attention, and care while their owners are away. I’m currently looking for remote work, so I have plenty of time to play with and keep a pooch entertained when they’re awake and want attention. BEFORE THE STAY Before each stay, I always meet you and your pup so everyone can get comfortable. We’ll take a little walk, see where we’ll be going for strolls, and let your dog explore our home — that way, the first day feels familiar and stress-free. SETTLING IN During the first few days, I stay home full-time so your dog can settle in calmly. If your pup has separation anxiety, I’ll make sure they’re never left alone. CARE & COMFORT I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — feeding schedule, brushing, medications, supplements, or any little rituals that make them feel secure. If your dog gets anxious around brushes, clippers, or harnesses, I can gently help them get used to those things using only positive reinforcement. If overnight boarding is booked I will provide up to 3 walks per day, depending on the individual dogs needs. I will generally only need to be out briefly for school runs and groceries during weekdays. I have a good sized fenced garden with lawn and I live right beside a park. Do let me know what your dog likes and dislikes regarding walks. Are they reward based trained? (treat trained). Do they react to other dogs, cats or people? About: I grew up having various pets, including a family dog, from a young age. My career held me back from owning my own dog until my working life changed pre-pandemic, which is when I started adding dogs to my family to help satisfy my love of dogs. My first dog is a Weimaraner who came to us as a puppy. After socialising and training him myself, from 8 weeks old, I added a Doberman to our family. She was rescued in 2022 after being handed into a dog pound, and after over coming some expected issues, she settled into my family perfectly with all family members and our resident dog. I would love to add more dogs to my family but practicality and cost won't allow me to, so, with my sensible head on, I'm offering to look after others dogs so whilst allowing others to have confidence that their dog is well looked after whilst they are away from home, I also get my dog fix 😁 I am an emergency foster for a breed specific rescue, so do sometimes have another dog in my residence. I've attended various online dog training courses including dog first aid. To make sure your dog gets the full attention it deserves, we only walk 2 dogs at any one time, unless we are attending a private secure location. Sole dog walking is available if required and we welcome reactive or nervous dogs. We dont discriminate against breed or size. If you are after someone confident with your dog who is reliable and able to follow your requirements needs when it comes to taking care of your dog, please do reach out. Please note, we would always do a meet and greet before confirming any bookings. I work from home so am flexible with bookings that work around my diary. This makes me available practically 24-7, as long as my diary allows. I have ample space in my home, but your dog MUST be acquainted with my resident dog before this can happen. My own dog is crate trained, although mainly sleeps in his bed. We have a room specific for the dogs if needed, and the outside space has a full walled back garden

About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. About: Hello! My name is Hope, I’m 31 years old, I’m a Youth Worker, and I adore animals. My first cat, TJ, was a rescue. We had him from the age of 16 and he lived to the age of 23. He passed away a few years ago, but I believe he lived a long and happy life because we gave him the love and care he needed. When he was 16, we were told he had only had 6months to live, but he continued to live an extra 6-7 years. I miss him everyday. TJ was on medication for his heart and kidneys, and he was on specialised food. If your cat needs specialised food and/or medication, I am more than happy to provide your cat the care they require. I now have another cat, Ivy. She is 4 years old, and we rescued her from Bahrain. She is a calico, and an absolute drama queen. She is funny, sassy, vocal, ‘spicy’ yet sweet. If you have a calico, I’m sure you know what I mean! I also care for my neighbours cats, including a Bengal. He also has specific requirements (for example, extra playtime to keep him stimulated). I have always been an animal lover. Prior to having cats, I used to own dogs, fish, and rabbits. I also care for my neighbours guinea pigs and dogs when they are away. I regularly care for 4 dogs in my apartment building. This includes regular walks and sleep-overs. If you pick me as your pet-sitter, I will not only provide the basics, but I’ll spend lots of time with them to ensure they are happy and not lonely. We had a meet and greet and she was brilliant putting Uno and myself at ease. Megan has a lot of love and experience with dogs, as she has had her own for many years. She has a great understanding of what the dogs needs are. Uno takes medication and she was such a professional given him his tablets and she also has an understanding of dogs that have medical needs. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring, intuitive, responsible, patient, caring, intuitive, responsible dog sitter. When I dropped him off, Megan already had a bowl of water ready for him. She was so welcoming and with all of my boys special needs and quirks, Megan took them all in, she was not phased at all with him. Uno has separation anxiety and Megan was able to settle him down after I left, and then within a few hours they became buddies. Megan is a very loving , peaceful, caring person and loved Uno. She took the time to get to know him and quickly understood his needs and queues for what he wanted. This is very needed for my boy to get to know him. He was with Megan for a day and I also booked for uno to go for a 4 night holiday stay with her, He loved it! He got lots of cuddles and loving and was resting together in the same room. He loves a peaceful environment and that's what he got being with her. Megan communicate with you on a regular basis. Thank you Megan for taking such good care of my boy and keeping me updated with photos and texts. I would 100% recommend Megan for your pet babies.”

From the moment we met them, they were so friendly and welcoming, making sure both my partner and I felt completely comfortable leaving Bailey, our 2-year-old dachshund, in their care, especially as this was the first time we’d left him over night with someone new. They took the time to listen to all our needs and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s so clear how much they truly love dogs, as the care and affection they showed Bailey was amazing. They kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was obvious how happy he was with them. They have a large garden, which was ideal for Bailey to have a run around to burn off energy and he loved having a sniff at all the smells in their garden which helped stimulate his brain. They took him on lovely long walks where he saw horses, cows and sheep, played all of his favourite games as well as enrichment activities, and gave him endless cuddles and attention. Bailey came home a very happy (and tired!) little dachshund, which says it all. We’re so grateful to Clare and Jack for looking after him as if he were their own, and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future!”
