About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. In the summer of 2024, a friend entrusted us with her energetic and reactive four-year-old Cockapoo. I took several courses and worked closely with a professional dog trainer to teach him to leave things on the ground, walk nicely on a leash, settle down when needed, greet guests calmly, tolerate grooming and drying, get ready for walks without stress, and stay calm at home. While we saw real progress, it was inconsistent, and after four months, Pavel and I realized we weren’t ready to live in constant stress over Yosi’s setbacks long-term. Yosi found a loving new home, and now we’ve embraced the joy of hosting dogs temporarily — giving them love, attention, and care while their owners are away. I’m currently looking for remote work, so I have plenty of time to play with and keep a pooch entertained when they’re awake and want attention. BEFORE THE STAY Before each stay, I always meet you and your pup so everyone can get comfortable. We’ll take a little walk, see where we’ll be going for strolls, and let your dog explore our home — that way, the first day feels familiar and stress-free. SETTLING IN During the first few days, I stay home full-time so your dog can settle in calmly. If your pup has separation anxiety, I’ll make sure they’re never left alone. CARE & COMFORT I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — feeding schedule, brushing, medications, supplements, or any little rituals that make them feel secure. If your dog gets anxious around brushes, clippers, or harnesses, I can gently help them get used to those things using only positive reinforcement. WALKS, PLAY & ENRICHMENT At first, our walks are all about exploring, sniffing, and getting to know the neighborhood. Once your dog feels safe with us, I add more fun and challenge — fetch, tug games, trick training, and scent games for mental stimulation. I always walk dogs on a long leash (never a retractable one), and if you don’t have one, I’ve got one ready. When your dog reliably responds to my voice — and with your permission — we can enjoy some safe off-leash time in the park. About: I've loved animals since I was a little girl, forever pestering my parents for a dog(!), and although they never gave in (damn) I have been lucky enough to live with a range of different dogs over my 8 years in London - from chihuahua to golden retriever! As well as being designated dogsitter, I have made a variety of furry pals from Borrow My Doggy, who I look after for daytime company, walks or weekend/holiday stays. I work in Marketing at an Education Charity and am home based three/four days a week. I live with depression so it’s really important I get out and about for a walk on these days in particular - but it doesn’t always happen unfortunately! I find spending time with animals so therapeutic, and when I am dogsitting I find the motivation and purpose of walking a dog really helpful and always lifts my mood. About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. About: Hello! My name is Thea and I am 30 years old. I grew up in the Berkshire countryside with a menagerie of animals and moved to South London 6 years ago. I now live with my partner and our two indoor cats, Tusk and Aurora, who are gracious enough to let us think we’re in charge. - I have always loved animals. I grew up in a family of five with a large extended animal family, including Patch the horse, Ghillie, Lana and Peggy the black labradors, Alice and Hugo the cats, an African Grey parrot called Puzi, many guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and chickens (whose eggs I used to sell to neighbours as an entrepreneurial 8-year-old), Great African Land Snails (yes, really), professional escape artist stick insects (...don’t ask), and a tortoise called Joey who is estimated to be 80+ years old! - Dogs: I particularly love dogs and would describe myself as a dog person first. I have raised three Black Labrador puppies, including Lana, a now happily retired working gun dog, who I trained from a puppy, competed with and worked myself. I am experienced with all aspects of day-to-day dog care, reinforcing training and good habits, and making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise and fun! I am confident with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments, and particularly enjoy working with puppies, using patience, consistency and clear boundaries to keep them calm and relaxed. I am also experienced with elderly and post-operative care, including following medication routines, monitoring wounds and attending vet appointments. - Cats: I grew up with two cats, a tortoiseshell called Alice and a ginger tom called Hugo. Alice is very much part of the family and, at nearly 20 years old, is still happily pootling around at home - in fact, we all swear she’s getting younger! I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own indoor cats Tusk and Aurora from kittenhood onwards. They came to me at just 14 weeks old, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day needs of young cats, as well as the changes that come with age. I am comfortable with all aspects of day-to-day cat care, including feeding, automatic feeders, litter trays, grooming and medication - alongside all the other tasks they seem to believe are part of my job as their live-in maid! - Other animals: Growing up, I regularly helped care for all of the animals at home. I am an experienced horse rider and spent a lot of time at the yard with our horse Patch, and hacking out with others in the Berkshire countryside before moving to London. I previously worked as a stable manager for a small children’s riding school in Henley-on-Thames, where my responsibilities included liaising with clients, running the yard, managing feed and medication, grooming and exercising, and providing individual care. I also led summer schools, taught private riding lessons, led hacks and ran pony parties for young children. - I am based in a secure flat with access to a large dog-friendly park and wider green spaces. Indoor cat boarding: I offer boarding for indoor cats in a secure flat without garden access, with two humans and two resident indoor cats. During their stay, visiting cats can have access to the whole flat, or their own space away from my cats. Whatever they choose, they will be kept company by and have access to at least one human, including overnight. ** PLEASE NOTE: Your cat must be FIV/FeLV negative, indoor only, comfortable around other cats, litter-trained, spayed/neutered and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Vaccinations must include protection against feline panleukopenia/infectious enteritis and feline respiratory viruses (cat flu, including herpesvirus and calicivirus). Owners must provide proof of vaccination and recent flea and worm treatment. Cats must not have been recently exposed to or be showing signs of an infectious illness, including sneezing, coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, eye or nose discharge, unexplained lethargy or skin problems. Aggression will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate cats that do not meet these requirements or put my cats at risk in any way. Owners must provide a crate, blanket/towel that smells of you, food and treats, medication and toileting setup** - Dog walks: Your dog will be collected by car and walked in a large dog-friendly park and surrounding countryside. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own treats. All dogs without reliable recall will be kept on a long lead. Aggression will not be tolerated** - Pet drop-ins: I am happy to follow whatever routine is best for your pet wherever possible. Medication must be prescribed and accompanied by clear instructions from your vet. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own food and treats. All instructions for feeding/medication must be clear and received in advance. About: Hello! My name is Hope, I’m 31 years old, I’m a Youth Worker, and I adore animals. My first cat, TJ, was a rescue. We had him from the age of 16 and he lived to the age of 23. He passed away a few years ago, but I believe he lived a long and happy life because we gave him the love and care he needed. When he was 16, we were told he had only had 6months to live, but he continued to live an extra 6-7 years. I miss him everyday. TJ was on medication for his heart and kidneys, and he was on specialised food. If your cat needs specialised food and/or medication, I am more than happy to provide your cat the care they require. I now have another cat, Ivy. She is 4 years old, and we rescued her from Bahrain. She is a calico, and an absolute drama queen. She is funny, sassy, vocal, ‘spicy’ yet sweet. If you have a calico, I’m sure you know what I mean! I also care for my neighbours cats, including a Bengal. He also has specific requirements (for example, extra playtime to keep him stimulated). I have always been an animal lover. Prior to having cats, I used to own dogs, fish, and rabbits. I also care for my neighbours guinea pigs and dogs when they are away. I regularly care for 4 dogs in my apartment building. This includes regular walks and sleep-overs. We had a meet and greet and she was brilliant putting Uno and myself at ease. Megan has a lot of love and experience with dogs, as she has had her own for many years. She has a great understanding of what the dogs needs are. Uno takes medication and she was such a professional given him his tablets and she also has an understanding of dogs that have medical needs. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring, intuitive, responsible, patient, caring, intuitive, responsible dog sitter. When I dropped him off, Megan already had a bowl of water ready for him. She was so welcoming and with all of my boys special needs and quirks, Megan took them all in, she was not phased at all with him. Uno has separation anxiety and Megan was able to settle him down after I left, and then within a few hours they became buddies. Megan is a very loving , peaceful, caring person and loved Uno. She took the time to get to know him and quickly understood his needs and queues for what he wanted. This is very needed for my boy to get to know him. He was with Megan for a day and I also booked for uno to go for a 4 night holiday stay with her, He loved it! He got lots of cuddles and loving and was resting together in the same room. He loves a peaceful environment and that's what he got being with her. Megan communicate with you on a regular basis. Thank you Megan for taking such good care of my boy and keeping me updated with photos and texts. I would 100% recommend Megan for your pet babies.”

From the moment we met them, they were so friendly and welcoming, making sure both my partner and I felt completely comfortable leaving Bailey, our 2-year-old dachshund, in their care, especially as this was the first time we’d left him over night with someone new. They took the time to listen to all our needs and really went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. It’s so clear how much they truly love dogs, as the care and affection they showed Bailey was amazing. They kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which was such a comfort, and it was obvious how happy he was with them. They have a large garden, which was ideal for Bailey to have a run around to burn off energy and he loved having a sniff at all the smells in their garden which helped stimulate his brain. They took him on lovely long walks where he saw horses, cows and sheep, played all of his favourite games as well as enrichment activities, and gave him endless cuddles and attention. Bailey came home a very happy (and tired!) little dachshund, which says it all. We’re so grateful to Clare and Jack for looking after him as if he were their own, and we’ll definitely be asking them again in the future!”

About: At the age of 8 I had my first dog, an English Springer Spaniel and continued to have dogs until just a few years ago when my last beloved passed away. I have loved and cared for dogs nearly my entire life including puppies and senior dogs. I hand reared 5 orphaned puppies and raised them to adulthood. I have vast experience with large breed dogs with mine having been German Shepherd and Dogue De Bordeaux Mastiff crosses. I have experience with administering medication and muzzle training with reward based training. If doggy day care is required, your dog will receive up to 2 walks within the day. I am at home daily and my child will be at school weekdays, so your dog will have my undivided attention. If overnight boarding is booked I will provide up to 3 walks per day, depending on the individual dogs needs. I will generally only need to be out briefly for school runs and groceries during weekdays. I have a good sized fenced garden with lawn and I live right beside a park. Do let me know what your dog likes and dislikes regarding walks. Are they reward based trained? (treat trained). Do they react to other dogs, cats or people? I live with my child and husband so it is essential that the dog is calm and not reactive if they are to be boarded in my home. Meeting a dog beforehand must be arranged.
