“Jessica was friendly when we met and experience with caring for many other dogs. She was prompt collecting my dog and listened to concerns about timings. I appreciated the photos ok the report cards and also received messages for any other observations and general compliments on my dog. Thank you, Jessica!”

“Louise is brilliant!!! We bump into her sometimes in the park and Paulie does his extra special bottom wiggle for her so I know he absolutely adores her. Great communicator, always on time and shows extra care.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had Labradors, and more recently we’ve had Timmy, our Shih Tzu, and Terry, our Poodle. They’re both getting older now and need daily medication, so I’m experienced in giving tablets, keeping to routines, and making sure senior dogs are happy, comfortable and well cared for. Having raised our dogs from puppies through every stage of their lives has taught me how much every animal changes as they grow. Each one has their own little habits, favourite games, and unique way of showing affection, and I love getting to know those little quirks. For me, that’s one of the best parts of caring for animals. I also regularly looked after my previous boss’s Shiba Inu, Bonsai, usually once a month for anything from a weekend to 10 days. Spending that much time together meant I got to know his personality, what made him feel settled, and how to keep his routine as normal as possible while his owner was away. I’ve also spent a lot of time around cats through friends and family, so being around them has always felt very natural. Through TrustedHousesitters, I cared for two kittens, and it was a pleasure watching their confidence grow and seeing their different personalities come out each day. Whether it’s a playful puppy, an independent cat, or an older dog who prefers a slower pace, I enjoy adapting to what each animal needs. I’m currently retraining to become a life coach, which gives me a flexible schedule and means I can spend plenty of quality time with the pets I’m caring for. One of the reasons I enjoy house sitting so much is because I miss having animals around every day. There’s nothing better than starting the morning with a dog walk, spending time playing together, or winding down in the evening with a furry companion curled up beside you. Friends and family know that if there’s a dog in the room, that’s probably where you’ll find me. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds like Timmy and Terry to larger breeds like Labradors. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed and loved while you’re away. I also enjoy looking after plants and understand that leaving your home and pets with someone else is a big decision. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own, so you can enjoy your time away knowing everything is in safe hands. My hope is that when you return home, your pets have had a wonderful time, your house feels exactly as you left it, and you’d be delighted to welcome me back again. I’m currently retraining to become a life coach, with most of my studies completed online for just a few hours each week. This gives me a very flexible schedule, allowing me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. I like to work around each pet’s usual routine because I know consistency helps them feel safe and secure while their owners are away. With my own family dogs, we’d usually enjoy two walks a day of around 30 to 45 minutes, but I’m always happy to adapt to whatever your pet is used to. Whether they enjoy long walks, shorter strolls, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the time, attention and companionship they need. I’m also more than happy to spend quiet evenings at home, so your pets have plenty of company and feel settled while you’re away. I understand that leaving your pets and home in someone else’s care is a big decision, and it’s a responsibility I take seriously. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, stick to your pet’s usual routine, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for throughout my stay. I’m an extremely tidy person and take great pride in looking after my own home, so I’ll treat yours with the same care and respect. I’ll happily water plants, bring in the post, put the bins out, and leave your home exactly as you left it. I’m experienced in administering medication, having cared for my own senior dogs, Timmy and Terry, who both require daily tablets. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and in safe hands. If I ever had any concerns about your pet’s health, I’d contact you straight away to understand whether it’s something you’ve seen before. If needed, I’d speak with your vet for advice and arrange transport to the surgery without hesitation. I’m a non-smoker, don’t drink, and although I don’t currently have access to a car, I do drive and am confident using taxis or public transport if needed. My aim is for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet who has enjoyed their own little holiday while you’ve been enjoying yours, and to a home that’s just as clean and welcoming as when you left.

“I highly recommend Larissa. They followed all instructions and routines flawlessly, and were incredibly accommodating when my phone connection was limited while I was away on holiday. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands! Most importantly my dog Minnie was extremely happy with Larissa and enjoyed her time together with her.”

About: I have taken care of my aunt's young, feverish dachshund since 2022, and I have been trusted to feed, bathe, walk, and play with him. I'm currently a student studying at the university of Kent so I have more than enough of time to watch over your dogs or cats. I care for pets by following their routines, providing food, walks, play, and plenty of attention, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and comfort at home.
About: Ive always loved dogs and I’ve looked after dogs across all different life stages, sizes and personalities. I tailor my care to each dog’s needs. Whether it’s long walks, being stimulated mentally and physically or simply having some company. I make sure they feel comfortable whilst your away by following their usual routine. I understand every dog is part of the family therefore I treat them as if they’re my own.
“Claire is wonderful. Great communication and really went the extra mile (spending 70 mins on a walk instead of 30 😍 - lucky dog!!). Also accepted my booking with no issues despite it being pretty last minute. I’d definitely recommend her and will use her again 🫶🏻”

“Drew was great with our anxious dog! Professional and puctual, the communication beforehand was great and put my mind at ease as it was the first time booking a sitter. Definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Hope, I’m 31 years old, I’m a Youth Worker, and I adore animals. My first cat, TJ, was a rescue. We had him from the age of 16 and he lived to the age of 23. He passed away a few years ago, but I believe he lived a long and happy life because we gave him the love and care he needed. When he was 16, we were told he had only had 6months to live, but he continued to live an extra 6-7 years. I miss him everyday. TJ was on medication for his heart and kidneys, and he was on specialised food. If your cat needs specialised food and/or medication, I am more than happy to provide your cat the care they require. I now have another cat, Ivy. She is 4 years old, and we rescued her from Bahrain. She is a calico, and an absolute drama queen. She is funny, sassy, vocal, ‘spicy’ yet sweet. If you have a calico, I’m sure you know what I mean! I also care for my neighbours cats, including a Bengal. He also has specific requirements (for example, extra playtime to keep him stimulated). I have always been an animal lover. Prior to having cats, I used to own dogs, fish, and rabbits. I also care for my neighbours guinea pigs and dogs when they are away. I regularly care for 4 dogs in my apartment building. This includes regular walks and sleep-overs. If you pick me as your pet-sitter, I will not only provide the basics, but I’ll spend lots of time with them to ensure they are happy and not lonely. You will receive plenty of updates via WhatsApp, including pictures and videos. Please note that I am unable to care for cats/dogs with transmissible viruses or diseases as I don’t want to risk transferring germs and sickness to other animals and to my own cat.
“Jamie has been a very reliable walker for me while I’m in recovery. Jamie is always on time, pays my Rosie so much attention, she’s always super excited to see him. Jamie is also very honest about everything that goes on during the walk. Not only has he created a strong bond with my dog, but also with me which is just as important! Highly recommended:-)”

“Emma is always very reliable and has cared for my cat Max on several occasions. She always sends a nice update of the catsit. Emma goes the extra mile to help out and I would recommend her to all cat owners out there who need a friendly caring cat sitter”

About: Hi, I’m Amy! I’m 36, and have been a dog lover all my life, I looked after our family dog growing up, and have enjoyed looking after friends dogs since. I’ve loved meeting furry friends on Rover and would love to meet yours. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits every day of the week, working around 1:1 Pilates sessions that I run, so I can usually find a slot that suits. If you’re curious about Pilates too, feel free to ask, I’m always happy to chat! I love getting to know each dog’s routine and personality over time. Every dog is different, and I always try to match their pace, whether that’s sniffy walks, playful games, quiet companionship, or just a bit of fuss when they want it. Your dog will get my full attention, as I love caring for pups and helping them feel happy and settled. Walks: I’m happy to take your dog to their favourite local spots, or explore nearby parks and green spaces. I stick to whatever they’re most comfortable with. Whether your dog enjoys a long energetic walk or a gentle stroll, I adapt to their needs. Why choose me? • A trusted, repeat-client favourite • Safe, reliable care with regular photo/text updates • I will treat your dog as if they were my own • Flexible schedule and fast communication • Experience across different breeds and personalities from puppies to older dogs • My own car for easy transport (e.g. pick-ups, drop-offs and vet visits if ever needed) What I offer: • Regular or one-off dog walks • Drop-in visits for feeding, toilet breaks, and playtime • Once we’ve built up a connection, I’m also happy to offer boarding or house sitting, I find that dogs tend to settle in much better with someone they already know. If you ever need this I can offer a secure private garden, a calm, child-free, non-smoking environment, and a relaxed, homely setting where your pup will be treated like family. I’m free most days of the week for walks and drop-ins, working around my 1:1 Pilates clients, so just get in touch and I’ll usually find a slot that suits. And if you’re ever curious about the Pilates side of things, I’m always happy to chat about that too! In my home, dogs enjoy a secure garden, a calm and homely environment, and plenty of attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routines closely, making sure they feel safe and settled while keeping everything consistent for their comfort.

Cerys took my Labrador out for daily walks for 2 weeks while I was away on holiday, and he was staying with my father. She was fantastic with him, and he was always very excited to see her! Cerys was reliable and great with communication, and I would not hesitate to recommend her!

Aimee was excellent with Fritz. I was a bit apprehensive to begin with as I am not used to leave Fritz with other people, however Aimee was competent and very sweet with Fritz, who instantly liked her. I received updates at the end of the walk and Aimee also adapted very well to a last minute change, which required her letting herself into our house and dropping Fritz off there. I have already booked Aimee again and I am pleased to have found her!

I highly recommend Larissa. They followed all instructions and routines flawlessly, and were incredibly accommodating when my phone connection was limited while I was away on holiday. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands! Most importantly my dog Minnie was extremely happy with Larissa and enjoyed her time together with her.

Reyna has been walking and pet sitting my dog for 2+ years and she’s been lovely. She knows how to handle my dog’s reactivity and special needs, and he enjoys their walks. She is good at following instructions and is highly communicative and reliable so I feel at ease when I am away. Highly recommend!

Lauren is a super lovely and reliable. She often looks after my boisterous labradoodle Ernie and I have complete trust that he’ll have a safe and fun time whenever he’s with Lauren. She’s a very caring and capable dog sitter and I’d 100% recommend. Thank you Lauren!

Jonathan did a great job walking my dog, Brownie. He was attentive, friendly, and clearly comfortable handling dogs. Brownie seemed to really enjoy the time with him, and it was reassuring to know he was in good hands. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend Jonathan as a reliable and caring dog walker.

Sarah has been amazing with Milo — warm, caring and so easy to trust. He took to her straight away and came back happy and relaxed, which says everything. It was really lovely meeting her, and we’ll definitely be in touch again. Thank you so much, Sarah — Milo loved his time with you 🐾
