“Emma is always very reliable and has cared for my cat Max on several occasions. She always sends a nice update of the catsit. Emma goes the extra mile to help out and I would recommend her to all cat owners out there who need a friendly caring cat sitter”

About: Ever since i was little girl, I've always loved and cared for animals and would often bring home stray cats and dogs to my parents dismay. Growing up, our family dog would be my confidante, best friend and a play date. I am that typical individual that would melt at a sight of a pet. I live in a flat on the 2nd floor. Unsuitable for a pet, but i am surrounded by friends and family who own cats, dogs and hamsters. So not short of company ; ) During lockdown, it has highlighted the importance of caring for oneself and to surround yourself with what makes you happy, which led me to request sabbatical leave for 3 months and give myself a slower pace of life. Over the years, i have pet/house sat for friends, but this is my first time to register and become an official pet/house sitter. I understand how daunting it may be to leave your cherished family member and home behind and so i just want to reassure you that they will be spoilt with love, fun, and lots of cuddles. I'm also more than happy to meet via video, in person or have a chat over the phone, as I know that this type of decision isn't an easy one to make. Look forward to hearing from you : ) I'm due to start my sabbatical leave from the 1st of September through to 1 of December 2021, therefore, i will have a lot of free time for downtime and lots of cuddles and earn a little something whilst enjoying the company of lovable pets I am often referred to as a life coach and personal security amongst friends and family : ) A genuinely warm, bubbly individual with a positive outlook. Also very reliable, trustworthy and honest person.
About: Hello! My name is Thea and I am 30 years old. I grew up in the Berkshire countryside with a menagerie of animals and moved to South London 5 years ago. I now live with my partner and our two indoor cats, Tusk and Aurora, who are gracious enough to let us think we’re in charge. - I have always loved animals. I grew up in a family of five with a large extended animal family, including Patch the horse, Ghillie, Lana and Peggy the black labradors, Alice and Hugo the cats, an African Grey parrot called Puzi, many guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits and chickens (whose eggs I used to sell to neighbours as an entrepreneurial 8-year-old), Great African Land Snails (yes, really), professional escape artist stick insects (...don’t ask), and a tortoise called Joey who is estimated to be 80+ years old! - Dogs: I particularly love dogs and would describe myself as a dog person first. I have raised three Black Labrador puppies, including Lana, a now happily retired working gun dog, who I trained from a puppy, competed with and worked myself. I am experienced with all aspects of day-to-day dog care, reinforcing training and good habits, and making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise and fun! I am confident with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments, and particularly enjoy working with puppies, using patience, consistency and clear boundaries to keep them calm and relaxed. I am also experienced with elderly and post-operative care, including following medication routines, monitoring wounds and attending vet appointments. - Cats: I grew up with two cats, a tortoiseshell called Alice and a ginger tom called Hugo. Alice is very much part of the family and, at nearly 20 years old, is still happily pootling around at home - in fact, we all swear she’s getting younger! I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for my own indoor cats Tusk and Aurora from kittenhood onwards. They came to me at just 14 weeks old, so I’m very familiar with the day-to-day needs of young cats, as well as the changes that come with age. I am comfortable with all aspects of day-to-day cat care, including feeding, automatic feeders, litter trays, grooming and medication - alongside all the other tasks they seem to believe are part of my job as their live-in maid! - Other animals: Growing up, I regularly helped care for all of the animals at home. I am an experienced horse rider and spent a lot of time at the yard with our horse Patch, and hacking out with others in the Berkshire countryside before moving to London. I previously worked as a stable manager for a small children’s riding school in Henley-on-Thames, where my responsibilities included liaising with clients, running the yard, managing feed and medication, grooming and exercising, and providing individual care. I also led summer schools, taught private riding lessons, led hacks and ran pony parties for young children. - I am based in a secure flat with access to a large dog-friendly park and wider green spaces. I am an experienced house sitter, driver and volunteer with Croydon Animal Samaritans as an animal taxi. I am also a professional musician and qualified secondary school music teacher. Please do get in touch with me about your pet, as I would love to hear from you! I am based at home, have a flexible schedule and am available for indoor cat boarding, pet drop-ins during the day, and morning dog walks (the earlier the better, especially in the summer!)/late afternoon dog walks. I will aim to work with your pet's usual schedule wherever possible. Indoor cat boarding: I offer boarding for indoor cats in a secure flat without garden access, with two humans and two resident indoor cats. During their stay, visiting cats can have access to the whole flat, or their own space away from my cats. Whatever they choose, they will be kept company by and have access to at least one human, including overnight. ** PLEASE NOTE: Your cat must be FIV/FeLV negative, indoor only, comfortable around other cats, litter-trained, spayed/neutered and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. Vaccinations must include protection against feline panleukopenia/infectious enteritis and feline respiratory viruses (cat flu, including herpesvirus and calicivirus). Owners must provide proof of vaccination and recent flea and worm treatment. Cats must not have been recently exposed to or be showing signs of an infectious illness, including sneezing, coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, eye or nose discharge, unexplained lethargy or skin problems. Aggression will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate cats that do not meet these requirements or put my cats at risk in any way. Owners must provide a crate, blanket/towel that smells of you, food and treats, medication and toileting setup** - Pet drop-ins: I am happy to follow whatever routine is best for your pet wherever possible. Medication must be prescribed and accompanied by clear instructions from your vet. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own food and treats. All instructions for feeding/medication must be clear and received in advance. Please be honest about your situation and ensure that your space is secure, safe and tidy before drop-ins** - Dog walks: Your dog will be collected by car and walked in a large dog-friendly park and surrounding countryside. **PLEASE NOTE: Owners must provide their own treats. All dogs without reliable recall will be kept on a long lead. Aggression will not be tolerated** - Photos can be taken on request.

“I highly recommend Larissa. They followed all instructions and routines flawlessly, and were incredibly accommodating when my phone connection was limited while I was away on holiday. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands! Most importantly my dog Minnie was extremely happy with Larissa and enjoyed her time together with her.”

“Dalo has been so helpful and really has taken the time to provide me and my dog an excellent service. He’s taken very good care of Papi and is super responsive, diligent, and offers updates for every walk he goes on. Thanks, Dalo!”

“Sarah was amazing she sent me loads of pictures & videos which made me feel at ease whilst on my holiday and Apollo looked like he had a lot of fun, Sarah also wrote down all the things to do and no to do with Apollo which showed me she really cared for him. thank you so much and I would definitely recommend Sarah”

“Jessica is a brilliant dog walker. She has been super patient and kind with Buddy. She sends loads of pictures and details about the walk. I'm very grateful for her flexibility and kindness with our nervous old dog. We will continue to book Jessica for our doggy needs!”

About: I’ve owned dogs for almost my entire life. I’ve had small dogs and big dogs. Unfortunately my beautiful Bernese mountain dog passed away early October, so currently I don’t own a pet of my own. I have experience working in a day care centre for dogs. My duties involved picking the beautiful pets up from their homes and driving them to the day care centre where I would play with them in the garden with toys and interact with them using multiple mind games, taking them for walks, using discipline only when needed, feeding and grooming them. You can always guarantee your dog will be in good company with me. I am currently working part time but on my days off I have all the time to spend out for walks and snuggled up on the sofa with your pup (I hope!) I live in a pet friendly flat that has 4 communal gardens. I also have a balcony where my dog loves to spend a lot of his time, watching the world go by.
“Drew has been awesome and a life saver - punctual, friendly, communicative, absolutely professional and most importantly my dogs love him! They enjoyed the walk everyday, sometimes with the company of Drew’s own dog Chilli who is so well trained and behaves like a role model (another proof to say how good Drew is with dogs!) PiPi and Lily came home every night happy and exhausted, just the right amount of exercise they need. I would definitely recommend Drew to everyone in the area, and I’m glad to find a local dog walker I can trust, peace in mind knowing that he’s around whenever I need someone for my dogs again in future :)))”

About: Hi, I’m Amy! I’m 36, and have been a dog lover all my life, I looked after our family dog growing up, and have enjoyed looking after friends dogs since. I’ve loved meeting furry friends on Rover and would love to meet yours. I offer dog walks and drop-in visits every day of the week, working around 1:1 Pilates sessions that I run, so I can usually find a slot that suits. If you’re curious about Pilates too, feel free to ask, I’m always happy to chat! I love getting to know each dog’s routine and personality over time. Every dog is different, and I always try to match their pace, whether that’s sniffy walks, playful games, quiet companionship, or just a bit of fuss when they want it. Your dog will get my full attention, as I love caring for pups and helping them feel happy and settled. Walks: I’m happy to take your dog to their favourite local spots, or explore nearby parks and green spaces. I stick to whatever they’re most comfortable with. Whether your dog enjoys a long energetic walk or a gentle stroll, I adapt to their needs. Why choose me? • A trusted, repeat-client favourite • Safe, reliable care with regular photo/text updates • I will treat your dog as if they were my own • Flexible schedule and fast communication • Experience across different breeds and personalities from puppies to older dogs • My own car for easy transport (e.g. pick-ups, drop-offs and vet visits if ever needed) What I offer: • Regular or one-off dog walks • Drop-in visits for feeding, toilet breaks, and playtime • Once we’ve built up a connection, I’m also happy to offer boarding or house sitting, I find that dogs tend to settle in much better with someone they already know. If you ever need this I can offer a secure private garden, a calm, child-free, non-smoking environment, and a relaxed, homely setting where your pup will be treated like family. I’m free most days of the week for walks and drop-ins, working around my 1:1 Pilates clients, so just get in touch and I’ll usually find a slot that suits. And if you’re ever curious about the Pilates side of things, I’m always happy to chat about that too! In my home, dogs enjoy a secure garden, a calm and homely environment, and plenty of attention throughout the day. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routines closely, making sure they feel safe and settled while keeping everything consistent for their comfort.

About: Hello! My name is Hope, I’m 31 years old, I’m a Youth Worker, and I adore animals. My first cat, TJ, was a rescue. We had him from the age of 16 and he lived to the age of 23. He passed away a few years ago, but I believe he lived a long and happy life because we gave him the love and care he needed. When he was 16, we were told he had only had 6months to live, but he continued to live an extra 6-7 years. I miss him everyday. TJ was on medication for his heart and kidneys, and he was on specialised food. If your cat needs specialised food and/or medication, I am more than happy to provide your cat the care they require. I now have another cat, Ivy. She is 4 years old, and we rescued her from Bahrain. She is a calico, and an absolute drama queen. She is funny, sassy, vocal, ‘spicy’ yet sweet. If you have a calico, I’m sure you know what I mean! I also care for my neighbours cats, including a Bengal. He also has specific requirements (for example, extra playtime to keep him stimulated). I have always been an animal lover. Prior to having cats, I used to own dogs, fish, and rabbits. I also care for my neighbours guinea pigs and dogs when they are away. I regularly care for 4 dogs in my apartment building. This includes regular walks and sleep-overs. If you pick me as your pet-sitter, I will not only provide the basics, but I’ll spend lots of time with them to ensure they are happy and not lonely. You will receive plenty of updates via WhatsApp, including pictures and videos. Please note that I am unable to care for cats/dogs with transmissible viruses or diseases as I don’t want to risk transferring germs and sickness to other animals and to my own cat.
“Maximilian is an absolutely wonderful dog walker! My dog, Leo, adores him and gets so excited every time he arrives for their walks. Maximilian is always punctual and makes sure Leo gets his full hour out and about—never cutting the time short. I love that he shares photos through the app and always provides thoughtful updates after each walk. It gives me such peace of mind knowing Leo is in such caring and reliable hands. Couldn’t recommend him more!”

About: I had a senior dog until his last days. I lived with a friends 2 yr old American Bully for about 6 months and have had him stay over occasionally. Sadly he’s now passed :( I grew up with cats. I love dog walking and being outside with nature. I have a car with seat covers so taking them around is no problem. Rates can be negotiated depending upon the service. I work from home a few days a week. I can turn this into a full week or two of pet care if needed. I have lots of spare time and a park next door to where I live for on the leash walks. I am mobile for visits or to walk dogs in their favourite places. If off the leash exercise is required for dogs I can take them to their preferred area or book a private field is a time slot is available (£10 ph). Rates can be negotiable if more than one animal/depending on requirements. I like pet owners to give me full instructions by note or message, as to how they want their pet cared for, so that I know I am doing what is required and that the pet is happy. I’m very health, safety and cleanliness conscious. I can do light cleaning such as hoovering and plant watering if you are away or need it included in the service. Your pets safety & wellbeing is my greatest concern.

Claire is wonderful. Great communication and really went the extra mile (spending 70 mins on a walk instead of 30 😍 - lucky dog!!). Also accepted my booking with no issues despite it being pretty last minute. I’d definitely recommend her and will use her again 🫶🏻

Cerys took my Labrador out for daily walks for 2 weeks while I was away on holiday, and he was staying with my father. She was fantastic with him, and he was always very excited to see her! Cerys was reliable and great with communication, and I would not hesitate to recommend her!

Aimee was excellent with Fritz. I was a bit apprehensive to begin with as I am not used to leave Fritz with other people, however Aimee was competent and very sweet with Fritz, who instantly liked her. I received updates at the end of the walk and Aimee also adapted very well to a last minute change, which required her letting herself into our house and dropping Fritz off there. I have already booked Aimee again and I am pleased to have found her!

I highly recommend Larissa. They followed all instructions and routines flawlessly, and were incredibly accommodating when my phone connection was limited while I was away on holiday. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in such capable and caring hands! Most importantly my dog Minnie was extremely happy with Larissa and enjoyed her time together with her.

Reyna has been walking and pet sitting my dog for 2+ years and she’s been lovely. She knows how to handle my dog’s reactivity and special needs, and he enjoys their walks. She is good at following instructions and is highly communicative and reliable so I feel at ease when I am away. Highly recommend!

Lauren is a super lovely and reliable. She often looks after my boisterous labradoodle Ernie and I have complete trust that he’ll have a safe and fun time whenever he’s with Lauren. She’s a very caring and capable dog sitter and I’d 100% recommend. Thank you Lauren!

Jonathan did a great job walking my dog, Brownie. He was attentive, friendly, and clearly comfortable handling dogs. Brownie seemed to really enjoy the time with him, and it was reassuring to know he was in good hands. Overall, a positive experience and I would recommend Jonathan as a reliable and caring dog walker.
