I always stick to feeding times, walk schedules, and any special care instructions like medication or preferred activities. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality, so they feel comfortable and cared for. Respecting the owner's home is equally important to me. I make sure to keep everything clean and tidy, lock up securely, and treat the space with the same respect I would expect in my own home. I also keep you updated regularly, I’ll send messages and photos/videos to reassure you that your pet is happy, safe, and well looked after while you're away.

A typical day
I like to begin with a potty break and a short walk to help the dog get some fresh air and stretch their legs. For cats, I make sure their litter box is clean and they have fresh water and food, followed by some gentle playtime or cuddles if they’re into that. For dogs, fun activities depending on their energy level and personality. Nice stroll around the neighbourhood/local park. Playtime with their favourite toys. I am tug of war champion 😎 if they’re more chill some calm bonding time, like brushing, belly rubs, or just relaxing together on the couch. Throughout the day, I make sure they have access to water, follow any feeding or medication schedules, and give lots of love and attention. Each pet is different, so I always adapt to their needs, whether they’re high energy or a little shy and prefer a chill day.

I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and have hands on experience caring for a range of dogs. From energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and my focus on building trust with each dog I care for. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including those who need a bit of extra time to warm up. I’ve cared for senior dogs who require medication and a slower pace, and I understand how to support them comfortably. I’m also experienced with basic training for puppies, helping reinforce good habits during walks and at home. I’m reliable, safety conscious, and genuinely committed to each pet’s wellbeing. I take the time to understand their routine, personality, and what makes them feel secure.

It was our first time leaving our 6 month old kittens and we were a little nervous, however we were very reassured when Dalo came over to meet them for the first time. We were sent lots of photos and videos, came home to a tidy flat and two very happy cats who were clearly unbothered by us being away due to receiving great care. Thank you so much!

Dalo is a lovely person who put me at ease about leaving my dogs with him when we first meant. He has a great personality and a very calming nature which the girls seemed to instinctively like. Dalo has been brilliant during the 11 day period that he has looked after my girls Darcy and Mable at my home. He ensured that their routines ie walks and feeding etc stayed the same and was very respectful of my home while I was away. He stayed in regular contact and sent pics of the girls. They clearly loved being with him and he with them as they were usually curled up beside him on the sofa😆. I would definitely ask him to sit with them again when I go away.
