About: Pavel (my partner) and I love dogs, and I’ve also discovered that I truly enjoy working with them. In the summer of 2024, a friend entrusted us with her energetic and reactive four-year-old Cockapoo. I took several courses and worked closely with a professional dog trainer to teach him to leave things on the ground, walk nicely on a leash, settle down when needed, greet guests calmly, tolerate grooming and drying, get ready for walks without stress, and stay calm at home. While we saw real progress, it was inconsistent, and after four months, Pavel and I realized we weren’t ready to live in constant stress over Yosi’s setbacks long-term. Yosi found a loving new home, and now we’ve embraced the joy of hosting dogs temporarily — giving them love, attention, and care while their owners are away. I’m currently looking for remote work, so I have plenty of time to play with and keep a pooch entertained when they’re awake and want attention. BEFORE THE STAY Before each stay, I always meet you and your pup so everyone can get comfortable. We’ll take a little walk, see where we’ll be going for strolls, and let your dog explore our home — that way, the first day feels familiar and stress-free. SETTLING IN During the first few days, I stay home full-time so your dog can settle in calmly. If your pup has separation anxiety, I’ll make sure they’re never left alone. CARE & COMFORT I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — feeding schedule, brushing, medications, supplements, or any little rituals that make them feel secure. If your dog gets anxious around brushes, clippers, or harnesses, I can gently help them get used to those things using only positive reinforcement. WALKS, PLAY & ENRICHMENT At first, our walks are all about exploring, sniffing, and getting to know the neighborhood. Once your dog feels safe with us, I add more fun and challenge — fetch, tug games, trick training, and scent games for mental stimulation. I always walk dogs on a long leash (never a retractable one), and if you don’t have one, I’ve got one ready. When your dog reliably responds to my voice — and with your permission — we can enjoy some safe off-leash time in the park. About: At the age of 8 I had my first dog, an English Springer Spaniel and continued to have dogs until just a few years ago when my last beloved passed away. I have loved and cared for dogs nearly my entire life including puppies and senior dogs. I hand reared 5 orphaned puppies and raised them to adulthood. I have vast experience with large breed dogs with mine having been German Shepherd and Dogue De Bordeaux Mastiff crosses. I have experience with administering medication and muzzle training with reward based training. If doggy day care is required, your dog will receive up to 2 walks within the day. I am at home daily and my child will be at school weekdays, so your dog will have my undivided attention. If overnight boarding is booked I will provide up to 3 walks per day, depending on the individual dogs needs. I will generally only need to be out briefly for school runs and groceries during weekdays. I have a good sized fenced garden with lawn and I live right beside a park. Do let me know what your dog likes and dislikes regarding walks. Are they reward based trained? (treat trained). Do they react to other dogs, cats or people? I live with my child and husband so it is essential that the dog is calm and not reactive if they are to be boarded in my home. Meeting a dog beforehand must be arranged.

In 2017 I had the capacity to keep a dog, and Sidro came into my life teaching me how dogs come in all forms and personalities. My dog, Sidro gets along with all dogs as he came from a rescue and is calm and goofy at home. He's 7 years and still has a bounce in his step in the parks, his run time max. 15 - 30 mins, after which he is happy to chill on the grass in the sun. We go for walks exploring the green areas out and about Croydon and beyond. I keep water, treats and toys on me for the dogs, so it you need any specific activities / treats / food / routines / vocabulary, please let me know. If you need a firm hand for your dog, I am able to continue and ensure consistency so that it carries on while your dog is in my care. I'm able to handle long lead training too. About: I grew up having various pets, including a family dog, from a young age. My career held me back from owning my own dog until my working life changed pre-pandemic, which is when I started adding dogs to my family to help satisfy my love of dogs. My first dog is a Weimaraner who came to us as a puppy. After socialising and training him myself, from 8 weeks old, I added a Doberman to our family. She was rescued in 2022 after being handed into a dog pound, and after over coming some expected issues, she settled into my family perfectly with all family members and our resident dog. Unfortunately, in May 2026, she unexpectedly passed away. Friends, family and neighbours often rely on me to help look after and train their own dogs, so I can confidently say i can handle any dog, regardless of breed or size. I would love to add more dogs to my family but practicality and cost won't allow me to, so, with my sensible head on, I'm offering to look after others dogs so whilst allowing others to have confidence that their dog is well looked after whilst they are away from home, I also get my dog fix 😁 I am an emergency foster for a breed specific rescue, so do sometimes have another dog in my residence. I've attended various online dog training courses including dog first aid. To make sure your dog gets the full attention it deserves, we only walk 2 dogs at any one time, unless we are attending a private secure location. Sole dog walking is available if required and we welcome reactive or nervous dogs. We dont discriminate against breed or size.
