To make sure your dog settles in comfortably, please let us know: - Their daily routine (walks, preferred toilet timings, meals etc) - Any medication, allergies, or health issues - How they are with other dogs - What helps them feel safe or soothed - Any behaviours to be aware of (nervousness, barking, separation anxiety, etc.) - Their favourite treats, toys, or enrichment The more we know, the better we can tailor their stay to feel just like home.

A typical day

We start the day with a relaxed walk through nearby woods or parks, or there’s even a lake walk where dogs can enjoy watching the ducks. Back at home, your dog can rest alongside our calm greyhound, Piglet, or have fun playing with our well-stocked toy library, or enrichment toys like puzzle feeders and licky mats to keep them happy and engaged. We follow your dog’s usual routine, including meals and medication, with plenty of company and cuddles throughout the day. Evenings are all about winding down with a short stroll, some gentle play, and a cosy night in.

Pet care experience

We’re lifelong dog owners with over 6 years’ experience caring for senior dogs with advanced health needs. Our current dog, Piglet, is a gentle rescue greyhound in her senior years — and we’re well-versed in medication routines, managing mobility issues, and adapting to each dog’s unique pace and personality. Over the years, we’ve also been trusted sitters for both small and large dogs — always offering a calm, comfortable home and thoughtful care tailored to each dog’s needs including those who may need a bit of extra reassurance and routine.

Ross was a great sitter to Hazel. She got on with gentle Piglet and was right at home. Would definitely book again!

Ross is a super friendly and confident dog sitter. He looked after my boisterous labradoodle Ernie for an overnight stay and I had complete confidence Ernie would well looked after. Thanks again Ross!
