Izzie was absolutely excellent with my dog Ruby. This was Ruby’s first time staying with a sitter, so I was understandably a bit cautious, but Izzie handled everything calmly and professionally from the start. She was very flexible with timing, happy to do a gradual meet-and-greet plus short trial stays, and communicated clearly throughout. During the stays, Izzie sent updates and photos, and it was obvious Ruby felt comfortable — she was relaxed, seeking reassurance appropriately, and settled well in Izzie’s home. That told me a lot about the quality of care and attention she was getting. Izzie is warm, capable, and very switched-on with dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to other owners — especially if you have a dog doing their first sitter stay.

Absolutely brilliant care. We were unfamiliar with the area and had a very special memorial to attend. Sujin took all the anxiety of leaving your dog for the day away. Good communication and link up. Super care with lots of photo updates. Amber was happy and relaxed. Thank you Sujin. X

Kate was amazing and took good care of her. They had a lovely walk and playtime with Cleo. She was a tired pooch at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend Kate and will would drop of Boomi again.

About: I love dogs and all animals! I cannot shy away from them whenever I see one on the street. My very first best friend was my neighbours’ dog who was a chocolate labrador. I grew up with all sorts of animals (huskies, labradors and cockapoos) and cats. I have taken care of many dogs and cats throughout the years, even working for a local dog walking service. Looking after pets is a passion of mine - I enjoy seeing how happy they are, taking them on long walks and giving them plenty of cuddles. Friends, family and neighbours have relied on me to care for their dogs and cats regularly. I am curently working on a personal project, my availability is very flexible so I have plenty of time for walks and care for the animals. When looking after your pets, I will treat them as part of the family. I will make sure to make them feel comfortable, reassure them and give them plenty of love and cuddles. They will come with me on any activities I may have already planned and I will make sure they are safe and taken care at all times. I will take them on at least an hour walk a day, followed by a local walk in the evening. I am surrounded by many parks such as Banstead and Chipstead Common, Happy Valley, Epsom Common and Mercers Lane so you can be rest assured that your furry friend will have a long and fun walk.

Lisa and Tim are wonderful dog sitters and always take great care of our dog. Their dog Roxy is lovely and seems to get on with everyone and every dog. We are always relaxed when we leave our dog with them and have used their services many times. They also send photos of or dog in action during his time with them while we are away which is a great touch. Thanks!

About: Let your fur babies enjoy their own vacation while you away. I've been taking care for dogs for over 10years, used to volunteer at a HK dog shelter too, have a 10 years old pug, who loves my homemade meals. I am basically working from home, sometimes meeting in the central for couple hours, so have plenty of time to stay with the flurry babies. Luffy is super friendly to all dogs, but if it's necessary owner can bring along their own crate. Have been dog sitting before and dogs are always happy here

I'm currently unemployed taking a career break, so have plenty of time to love and look after your dog! I am mostly free weekdays especially during the day but very flexible. About: Hey there, i’m Marina, a very caring and loving person and full time lover of cats and dogs My experience with dogs originates from having a family Yorkshire that we got as a puppy. Later on when i moved to England, I lived with a family and took full time care of their dog, we used to go on walks every morning after the school run and at lunch time. Our neighbour had the exact same dog but a male and often I used to take both of them on walks to the nearby fields. I have also taken care of my boyfriend’s family cats, they have 4 tabby cats who are very sweet and demanding. I usually feed them and administer medicine to Lucy, their oldest cat, when they go away. I also sit with them making sure they get some attention. I have previously occasionally looked after friend’s dogs by taking them on walks and feeding them. I’m currently working full-time from home so I am able to sit in other people houses or at home and give attention to your pets for as long as needed. I usually care for my boyfriend’s family pets, 4 tabby cats who are quite senior and demanding, usually require feeding at different times of the day and oral medicine for two of them due to health issues. As well as constant affection as they love to sit next to me whilst working I always prioritise the health and well-being of animals in my care. My approach involves maintaining their stablished routines as i can imagine it must be hard for them to be away from the people they are used to. I’d provide consistent attention and ensuring they are safe and clean. I’d also keep an eye for any signs of distress or concern if it arises

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 4 years, and I make sure they have the best time while in my care. Plenty of walks, playtime, but also cuddles and relax time at home! I follow owner’s advice to keep everything as consistent as possible for the dog, especially if they’re in training or working towards a particular target. I am currently not working. I’m trying to make the most of the time off while keeping fit going for walks with some 4-legged fun company! I have a very safe fenced garden (you’re welcome to come and see). No other pets live in the property, however I might sometimes look after a friend’s cockapoo, who is friendly and actually not too bother of other dogs (of course introductions will be made prior to any pet-sitting where my friend’s dog might be in the house too). Pets are not allowed upstairs, but this is easily managed as there’s a glass door that leads upstairs and it can be shut. Again, you’re welcome to come and see. Dogs are not allowed on couch, but if previously agreed with owner because that’s what pet is used to or needs, I’m happy to have them up on a provided blanket. Anything for their comfort (yes, I like to spoil them - in a very healthy way). I will look after your dog as if s/he was mine! Actually, that’s a lie, I will probably look after your dog better thank if s/he was mine!

About: I don’t have much experience in looking after people’s pets but I have always been an animal lover and being on this app is the perfect opportunity for me to gain some experience and to grow in my love of dogs, cats and other pets and also help me meet new people. I work in a Special Needs School from Monday to Friday so I can provide care from 4pm onwards on those days but I can also provide care on weekends when I’m at home on a more regular basis. I have a big, fenced garden so can provide a more than adequate space for your pets to roam around in and the close me and my wife live in is very peaceful and quiet which is perfect for pets which could be sensitive to noise. Our house is very clean and tidy and we have more than enough space to be able to accommodate your pet (s). Just to provide clarification, it will be only myself providing care for your pet and not my wife who is in some of my profile pictures.

About: ***Rates entirely negotiable just drop me a message. I have my own cheeky Border Collie - Lunar, who loves play mates and learning new tricks. I am very experienced having grown up with Collies, Alsatians and Huskies my entire life. I live in a house with a back garden so pups can play together there as well as having plenty of walkies. I am experienced in giving medication should your pup need it as well as lots of cuddles, playing and training and of course treats! Your doggo would need to be ok with other dogs as they would be hanging out with Lunar if at mine. Let me know if you need my help, always happy to look after any and all breeds if I am available. I am currently working from home part time so I am currently free all days of the week other than Thursday afternoon and evenings, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup. I have a fully enclosed back yard, your pup will have a play mate as I have Lunar my Border Collie who loves any and all friendly doggos. I take Lunar on roughly 2 walks a day for roughly a 45mins to an hour each. Your doggo is welcome to join on all or none of them - whatever you prefer just let me know. I am very flexible and can work around you so just fill me in with your needs and I’m sure we can sort it.

About: As a recently Retired Couple we have spent the last 11 years looking after our gorgeous Yorkie-Poo Ruby who we sadly lost in April 26. We obviously have a great deal of experience and would always ensure that your Dog is given the best possible care and affection. We have a large secure back garden with our gate leading directly on to Happy Valley and Farthing Downs We are both at home all day and would do our best to ensure that your pet is never left alone. And would receive the very best care We have a reasonably large house at the far end of a cul-de-sac with a secure garden and woodland access. Your pet would receive virtually continuous human interaction with plenty of walks and play. Our goal would be to ensure your Pet is kept happy and content throughout its entire time spent with us.

My dachshund had her first day with Morgan yesterday. We had a pre-meet a little while before as Margot can be quite anxious when I leave her. So when I spotted her tail wagging when I dropped her with Morgan early yesterday morning I knew she was going to be ok! Morgan is very much a natural with dogs which completely put my mind at rest and Margot is happily looking forward to her next visit. Thank you Morgan!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Reigate on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 16,663 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Reigate . About 87% of Reigate sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Reigate commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
