About: I have loved dogs and cats all my life. When i was little I wanted to become a vet so I can be closer to them, groom them, make them better, etc. I always adored washing them, brushing them, etc. But most importantly sleeping with them. I lived in a flat without any pets for a short period of time and it felt so "not home". I come from a family where we always had animals around and they were valued family members. Life had different plans and I didn't become a vet, but a nurse. And I have been looking after people for the past decade. But that doesn't mean cats and dogs are no longer my passion. They are my biggest hobby and my favourite therapy. All my friends count on me when it comes about pet sitting. I also got 2 cats of my own which I adore and that could not live without. I have a hybrid job, with at least one day from home weekly, sometimes two. I also have all weekends off. I am crazy about doggy day care but boarding too. I can also do local visits, both cats and dogs. I have a fenced garden. A spacious house. Two very low energy cats who like living in their own space. They don t like other cats in their environment but they accept dogs. If needed they can be separated as the house is on 2 levels

About: I worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years, as a van driver, carer and also dog boarding. Myself and my mum have dog boarded for over 13 years. I have been doing self employed doggy walks/boarding for 5 years now looking after many different breeds and some still come to me from the daycare I used to work. I work from home with my full time job 3 days of the week. Living with my family. I currently work full time. However, I work from home 3 days a week. Working from home means I can be at home with them. I'm in the office Wednesdays and Thursdays, but I am home latest 4:30 to then be with them in the evenings. I have a fenced garden. I have a porch door so no one can run out the front door. The garden is quite big and enough space for them to run around. I also have a park over the road if they are not good in cars.

About: Hi! I'm Melissa, and caring for animals has always been one of the biggest passions in my life. For the past 10 years, I've volunteered with animal rescue organisations in both the UK and China, where I've had the privilege of caring for animals and helping them find loving forever homes. During that time, I've fostered six cats in the UK, as well as five adult dogs, two puppies and a kitten in China. Every animal has taught me something new, and I've become confident caring for pets with different personalities, routines and needs. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles or simply a calm companion to keep them company, I'll take the time to get to know them and care for them as if they were my own. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in safe hands. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members! I have full-time availability and a flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate weekdays, weekends and last-minute bookings. I'm happy to discuss your pet's routine and work around your preferred drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible. I provide a safe, calm and caring environment where every pet is treated like part of the family. My home is a bungalow with no stairs, making it suitable for pets of all ages, including senior dogs or those with mobility issues. I also have a fully fenced and secure garden where pets can safely enjoy time outdoors under supervision. I understand that every pet has their own routine, so I'll follow their usual feeding, exercise and sleeping schedule as closely as possible to help them feel settled. I'm experienced using crates if this is part of your pet's routine and will always respect your preferences and instructions. There are several lovely parks and walking routes nearby, and I have access to a car, allowing me to take dogs on regular walks or travel if needed. Having volunteered with animal rescue organisations and fostered both dogs and cats, I'm experienced caring for pets with different personalities and needs, and I always take the time to ensure they feel safe, happy and loved while you're away. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to fit pet care around my day. Whether your pet needs feeding, fresh water, walks, litter tray cleaning, medication (if required), or simply some company while you’re away, I’m happy to work around their usual routine Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, and stick to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel settled while you’re away. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, from energetic German Shepherds to tiny Yorkshire Terriers, so I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely love. I’m experienced with puppy care, senior dog care, and caring for anxious or nervous dogs. After adopting my own rescue dog, Neve, I gained first-hand experience helping an anxious dog build confidence through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. This has taught me how important it is to create a calm, reassuring environment where every dog feels safe and secure. Alongside caring for dogs, I’ve also looked after cats through house sitting, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets. I work full-time but spend three days a week working from home, giving me a flexible schedule that allows me to offer walks, drop-in visits, and attentive care throughout the day. Your dog won’t simply be left to entertain themselves, they’ll enjoy companionship, enrichment, and plenty of attention. My own dog, Neve, is friendly, sociable, and loves making new four-legged friends. We have a secure home and enclosed garden, providing a safe space for dogs to play, relax, and feel at home. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I aim to provide the same love, care, and attention that I’d want for my own dog. While you’re away, I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. I work full time but 3 days a week from home. My schedule is flexible so am sometimes able to do drop-ins to look in on your pets or walks during the day. I do have my dog, Neve, with me but she is friendly with dogs and enjoys having someone to play with! I ensure that I know where pets are at all times and try and stick to their normal routine as much as possible as to not cause any more change with their owners being gone.

We couldn't be happier with Otto's first experience at doggy day care. Georgina was incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and made Otto feel welcome from the moment he arrived. Throughout the day, Georgina sent us lots of lovely photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear that Otto had an amazing time socialising and playing, and he came home happy and very tired! Knowing that Otto was being looked after so well made the whole experience stress-free for us. Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Banstead on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 17,207 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Banstead. About 87% of Banstead sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Banstead commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
