Dog loving family, home from home environment
I am often called upon and relied on to take care of a variety of breeds of dogs for friends and family. I offer a safe and loving home from home environment allowing your prized four legged friend plenty of exercise and loving care. Our family has two adults and two children, who are extremely caring, and experienced with dogs too. I am a keen dog lover, love long walks and being outside, and I am very interested in different methods of dog training. Dogs are my passion and I would love one day to own my own business caring and training them. Whilst dogs are in my care, I am also happy to work on any training requirements if this of interest. (Unfortunately I am allergic to cats, so this is a dog only household) I am also DBS checked.

I highly recommend James Jayne and family as dog sitters. They looked after Georgie while we were on holiday he was so well looked after, regular updates and photos to reassure us he was in good hands which is so reassuring to know that your pet is in good hands. We would definitely use them again.
We used James & Jayne for the first time to watch our Barney (Cavapoo) for three nights while my wife and I were away. We could not have been more pleased with the wonderful experience Barney had with his stay. It was very obvious that James & Jayne's love of dogs had made their home very welcoming for Barney, who immediately felt very comfortable and at ease in his new temporary environment. During our time away, we were provided numerous updates and photos of Barney’s walks and other activities. It was reassuring to see a photo of Barney resting contentedly on their laps. My wife and I feel even more relieved to have found an ideal sitter to watch Barney during a future two-week holiday
A lovely family with a great house & garden. Organised a meet and greet, good comms pre and during stay. He got lots of love and attention during his stay.
James and Jayne looked after our lovely Goldie, Gus for a weekend. They were so attentive, arranged for a visit before and kept us well up to date with all his goings on. It was an especially hot weekend, so we were even more grateful for their care and attention to his needs. Highly recommend and we can’t wait for Gus’ next stay!
James and Jayne are fantastic as always! 2nd time leaving my dog with them and he had a great time. James and Jayne are fantastic, kept me updated throughout and helped my dog with his anxiety. Will definitely be back!
James and Jayne have been looking after Otis weekly for me for a while now. He loves being with them so much and always sees to have a great time. They are thorough and considerate and always so flexible with pickup and drop off. Couldn’t speak higher of them :)

Schedule
I now work 100% remotely from home and my wife also carries out hybrid working so is also mainly at home. I have two children at school during the day, but both are confident, experienced and caring dog lovers too, as is my wife. I enjoy the company of dogs, playing with them, looking after their needs and going for walks out in the fresh air. There are several dog friendly parks all within walking distance and I aim to provide a safe, loving environment for your pet. I am very flexible, so can fit dogs and walks easily into my life week days, or weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced off large back garden, so the dog is free to go outside and come back in when needed. I completely understand and appreciate each animal has it's own routines so we are happy to follow any instructions from the owners, meaning that the dog is then less stressed. I can also provide a crate if the owner recommends it and the dog is crate trained. I aim to make any dog that stays with us part of the family.
A typical day
I aim to ensure that pets are happy and healthy, and exercised, so will offer playtime, walks, grooming and care as required. I often go for lovely family walks in the park, followed by relaxing time at home and the dog is free to go in and out of the home as it has an enclosed 130ft garden which is secure to play in and I have a large open plan kitchen for it to roam about.
