Megan has been an amazing find for us and Cleo. She looked after Cleo like she was her own pet. She followed the routines as requested, but also had enough flexibility that Cleo had an absolute treat for the two weeks that we were away. We had regular photo and text updates. Megan was so reassuring when we texted to say that we would be later than expected due to flight delays. She is very obviously a dog lover, and a very mature and responsible sitter.
We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for Harley. He stayed for two weeks, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was being so well looked after. Harley was clearly happy, relaxed, and treated like one of the family. We received regular updates and photos, which made being away so much easier. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
