“Natasha and George are attentive and loving. Kibi Boo was very relaxed and slept well for his first sleepover at their place. I also absolutely appreciate them for keeping us in the loop for what Kibi Boo has been doing from time to time. Definitely recommend them!”

“Lauren watched Teddy for us for 10 days recently, and I had a great experience with her from the first meeting until she dropped him off. While Teddy was with her, Lauren kept us totally updated and even took him on a beach vacation. I saw pictures and videos of Teddy looking super happy, and that really put my mind at ease. I'd definitely trust Lauren with Teddy again. Thanks, Lauren.”

“Jack and his family are outstanding. I left my dog Henry with them for six days at quite short notice. Not only were they accommodating, I could tell from the outset they truly cared about how Henry would best fit into their home. I received daily, high quality updates and pictures and I could tell Henry was well stimulated and having a great time. I would definitely use Jack again in the future, thanks again!”

“Maanik had an amazing time with Ally! She is so caring and patient and will really listen and help with any specific needs for your dog. She was kind and welcoming and our dog warmed up to her very quickly! Will definitely book with Ally again. :)”

“Our mad little dog Dusty Springfield had a great stay with Alexei and Lin. They were very understanding and accepting of all her little quirks and behavioural abnormalities. They took her swimming daily and kept us up to date with pics and vids. Couldn’t recommend them enough!! We even suspect Dusty is already looking forward to our next holiday so she can hang with them again!”

“I’m so happy I found Vilma! She kindly agreed to look after my cat, Luna, on very short notice while I was away for a few days. She took such great care of Luna and made sure to send me regular photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. Luna looked so comfortable and happy — it truly felt like she was at home and enjoying her little holiday with Vilma. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter and will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend! 🐾”

“Céline and her partner took such a great care of Max. He stayed with them for 12 days and was visibility happy and comfortable when we collected him. “Nayla was an excellent dog sitter. She was very sweet with Skippy and her own little dog was very sweet and friendly. She took great care of Skippy and I would recommend using her services.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, including my own rescue dog and a large-breed dog. Through years of dog walking and pet sitting, I have developed a strong understanding of canine behaviour, body language, and individual care needs. I regularly attend training sessions with my own dogs and am currently completing courses in Dog Behaviour & Training and Professional Dog Walking. This helps me provide safe, positive, and enriching care for every dog I look after. My experience includes caring for energetic young dogs, nervous or rescue dogs who need extra patience and confidence-building, and larger breeds that require consistent handling. I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy environment where dogs feel comfortable, secure, and happy while in my care. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I care for my own two dogs every day, including walks, training, playtime, feeding, and enrichment activities. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide regular walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and pet sitting throughout the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors and making sure every dog gets the attention, exercise, and care they need. 🐾 Available all weekends, and love making some trip to dog friendly beaches or big parks. Safety and comfort are my priorities when caring for pets. At home, I have two built-in crates and two large travel crates available for dogs who feel more secure having their own quiet space. If needed, crates can be set up in our bedroom to help dogs settle and feel comfortable, especially during overnight stays. My home has a large, secure garden with an agility area, a dog swimming pool, and a variety of enrichment activities and games to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated throughout the day. I tailor activities to each dog’s age, energy level, and personality. I follow owners’ routines and instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medication, and training preferences. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. 🐾
“Wan Yi and Emily are fantastic and communicative, they kept us updated constantly with loads of photos and videos. Ryu and Layla seemed so happy! We will definitely be using them again. Thank you so much!”

“We had a fantastic first experience with Tom and Lorna who looked after our 7th month old puppy. Experienced, knowledgeable and lovely couple, we'd highly recommend them. We had a very happyand cared for doggie when we returned to collect our lil boy! Thank you.”

“Clarissa was great. She communicated well, was on time, sent lots of pictures during the day and most importantly Dolly seemed in a good place after spending the day with her. I will Iliad her again.”

“Dominique and her partner did an absolutely fantastic job looking after Wilf at such short notice. Clear they love dogs and are experienced sitters, taking the time to introduce our dog to their dog, Pippin (who is lovely). They really made sure that Wilf had lots of exercise and fun and sent lots of lovely updates. Will book again the next time we need a sitter!”

About: Lifelong dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including Rottweilers, Staffys, Pugs, Boerboels and Jack Russells. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to providing loving care and regular updates while your pet is with me. I am currently on the job-hunt and am available to care for your furry friends at any time (weekdays and weekends). Your pets will be with me the entire time they are in my care, either at my apartment or on a walk with me. My time is flexible and can be catered to your schedule. I live in a spacious 2-bedroom apartment which is walking distance to Wimbledon Common Park. The apartment block is highly secure and our apartment has lots of natural light. We do not have any other animals or children at the apartment. Pets are allowed on the couch or bed, or wherever they feel most comfortable. If I could leave a 10 star review for Onuora I would. We were worried to leave Rick for 10 days as being half daschund he can be anxious. Onuora is very experienced with dogs and their wellbeing so Rick settled in quickly. Onuora sent us daily pics and videos which made us feel at ease. Having picked Rick up yesterday it is obvious how well cared for he was as he was very calm and content. We will be using Onuora again and would highly recommend her.

Ignacio and Ludmilla looked after Loki for over two weeks and did an amazing job! He seemed to settle very quickly and they obviously looked after him extremely well, and took great care of him. They asked for lots of information up front so they could make sure Loki was comfortable. We were sent lots of photos and updates during his stay and we could see Loki felt very at home with them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and we hope that Loki can stay with them again 😊

Danica was so friendly and communicative! It was like I was talking to a friend! Coco had the best time with her. You cam definitely tell that Danica is very much used to having dogs around :) She would always update me and ask what my thoughts are with stuff regarding Coco which I very much appreciated :)

Halloumi had a great time at Yongying's, got along really well with her Cavapoo Boa, and came home happy and tired. Yongying was easy to communicate with and shared regular updates. I also really appreciated Yongying moving her plans so that Halloumi wouldn't need to be left alone during her stay because of her separation anxiety. Halloumi will happily stay with Yongying again.

Céline and her partner took such a great care of Max. He stayed with them for 12 days and was visibility happy and comfortable when we collected him. Communication was excellent, we received daily updates and pictures throughout his stay. We absolutely recommend and will book again without hesitation

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
