“Sarah was excellent and took great care of our cat while we were away. She provided lovely updates at each visit and spent lots of time giving our cat the attention that he craved. Would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a cat sitter. ”

“Rhiannon did a great job looking after Ziggy. Gave her lots of loving as well as her food and medication. Went above and beyond to make sure she was well looked after. Daily pics showed a well feed contented cat. Just what we hoped for. Thanks again. ”

About: Hi my name is Olivia and I live with my partner James in Morden. We absolutely love dogs and hope to get one of our own some day, but for now I'm looking to put my dog care experience to good use, and would love to look after your pet for you! Whilst I'll be the main carer, James has also spent lots of time with dogs and so is often on hand for extra cuddles and playtime too. I had a black labrador as a child so have been around dogs from a young age. Since then I have regularly looked after dogs for friends and family. I regularly looked after a friends dog with seperation anxiety, keeping them company and being a calming influence whilst the owners were at work. I've also cared for other peoples dogs through the likes of Borrow my Doggy and Trusted House Sitters. I am experienced in feeding, walking and entertaining dogs. I would always follow your instructions and their routine. I work quite flexibly. I work part time and am also a part time PhD student. I work from home and have a flexible schedule on my PhD days to accommodate your schedule. On weekends and evenings my partner James is also around and tends to help me out with any pets in our care. I have an enclosed garden so your dog can go outside safely. I am happy to accommodate your dog as best I can so just let me know what they need. I live very close to Morden Hall Park as well as lots of other green spaces and so would be sure to take your dog out for a walk(s) as needed throughout the day.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with a wonderful dog called Barney, so caring for dogs has always been second nature to me. I currently split my time between London (where I do contract work) and the USA (where my wife is, we're currently long distance). When I’m in the US, I’m lucky enough to live with two lovely dogs of my own, Dash and Daisy, so I’m very used to long walks, routines, basic care, and the love and attention needed to make our best friends feel safe and happy. I miss them so much when I am in London working. I am fit, healthy, and comfortably strong enough to handle larger dogs, as my Dash is a chonky 70lb boy and loves to pull when he sees a squirrel! I can handle energetic dogs, and welcome dogs who will keep me on my toes and give me a bit of exercise too. I have experience walking dogs who do not mix well with other canines, so I know all the precautions required to prioritise their safety. I do not walk multiple clients' dogs at the same time. I'm also happy for you to check my identity via my professional profile on LinkedIn, on top of checks by Rover. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog is in safe, caring hands, and I can assure your dog will be looked after with me. I'd love to hear from you and to meet your pup, thanks for considering my services :) My time is split between London where I can work, and Massachusetts, USA where my wife (and pups) are. I am looking to walk dogs or sit in the South-West London area as this is local to me. Caring or walking your dog fits easily into my routine in London, as I have a lot of free time, and often work from home, and I have no overnight commitments here. I am only available for walking, or dogsitting or visits at the owner's home, as sadly my accommodation in London is not suitable for boarding. I'm a 39 year old experienced professional person who you can rest assured will follow instructions and keep your home and dog safe. I can handle larger and energetic dogs as I'm in decent physical shape, and I am used to handling my own 70lb dog, Dash, who can be a puller. Dash is a rescue who had a bad start in life, and he is nervous or defensive around other dogs. This means dog body language, taking precautions on walks, assessing other people and their dogs, and keeping a firm hold on the lead are all second nature to me.
“Hannah took great care of our cat, Sweep while were away. Great communication along with updates and photos. He was in safe hands and I would have no hesitation in booking Hannah again or recommending.”

I can take regular breaks during my meetings to walk your loved ones and can spend time with them and talk to them at most times. I have a lot of experience training and tending to my dog for the past 4.5 years. I also grew up loving dog so am aware of their need for proximity but sometimes , distance :) i can understand dog body language most times and can look after your loved ones in your absence

About: I'm a reliable and caring animal lover with experience looking after dogs for friends and family. Although I don't have a dog of my own, I've always wanted one. Unfortunately, because I currently rent my home and don't have my own garden, it's not the right time for me to have a dog full-time. That's why I love spending time caring for other people's dogs. I've looked after dogs with different personalities, including weekend pet sitting, making sure they're well cared for, exercised, and given plenty of love and attention. I'm confident providing a safe, loving environment and will treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. Both my partner, Rhys, and I work from home on a Monday and a Friday, making it easy to work a flexible schedule. Our work timetables stagger, with one person starting later than the other and different times for our lunch breaks. This will make it easier to cover a wider range of times for drop ins and walks! When caring for your dog in your home, I'll always follow your routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. I'm happy to follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, treats, maintaining crate training routines, and any other preferences specific to your dog. I'll make sure they get plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation throughout the day, along with lots of affection and companionship. I'll also keep your home tidy and respect it as if it were my own, giving you peace of mind while you're away.

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up in South Africa, I was always surrounded by dogs, and you’ll struggle to find a photo of my childhood without one nearby! We’ve owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers for many years, but I’ve also spent time with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities. Today, my partner and I share our home with our wonderfully well-trained Staffy, Loki, who is friendly, gentle and loves meeting other dogs. I understand that every dog is different, so whether your pup enjoys long walks, energetic playtime or simply curling up for a cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved and right at home. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat yours with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I work full-time but have flexibility around working from home, which means I can often accommodate daytime walks with some advance notice. I’m also available for walks before or after work and at weekends. I naturally walk a lot, including longer weekend walks, and would genuinely enjoy having a dog alongside me for companionship. I’m currently offering care in owners’ homes rather than boarding in my own. I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine, walking instructions, feeding schedule and house rules closely. I’m calm, reliable and attentive, and I understand how important it is to keep dogs safe, comfortable and settled in their familiar environment.
“Excellent service from Karie. She sent us thoughtful daily updates and photos and was flexible when we made a slight change to the booking. Many thanks Karie for taking good care of our cat!”

About: Hello, my name is Nesli! I’m a huge dog person and have been looking after friends and family dogs for years as I love spending time with them :) I used to look after a gorgeous Shih Tzu, Willow, who had severe separation anxiety so always had to be around people. She belonged to a colleague and I was their go to sitter as Willow and I got on so well and because I really loved and cared for her. I’d have her a lot of the weekends, whenever her owners went on holidays for a couple of weeks, I even had her for 2.5months at one point as the owner had to go and deal with a sickness in the family. I love building a bond with dogs and find it quite easy to do so, so when they’re with me we both feel at home :) I live in a ground floor flat with a small courtyard at the back. I am a 5 minute walking distance from two huge parks - Morden Hall Park and Morden Park. I have a car so can help with pick up and drop off within reasonable distance. I am a pilates instructor so I have quite a relaxed schedule, I tend to teach maximum 2 / 3 classes a day. I am usually home for big chunks of time between classes if I have multiple on a day, as I only teach in surrounding areas to my flat. I will also have random days off with no classes at all during the week and I don’t teach Sundays :) As my schedule is quite flexible, I can usually work around your timings quite easily. Weekends / weekdays don’t make much of a difference to me as I don’t have the Monday to Friday job structure. I don’t currently have any other pets, so you don’t need to worry about your dog having to adjust to another pet in the house. I have a small backyard that is completely fenced off with a big wall, so it is safe to nip out there for toilet breaks / to stretch small doggos legs. I live really near two big parks, both very dog friendly. So there’s plenty of opportunity for long walks / run arounds.
About: I spend a lot of time with my dog (5 yr old boxer) who is really friendly, we often spend time with our friends, dogs small and large so I'm very used to walking more than 1 dog! I also have a large garden for playtime! Casper is extremely friendly and we love having dogs stay with us or simply join us for a walk. I'd love to hear from you if you are looking for a dog sitter! I have recently been made redundant, and am hoping to start full time work again very soon, in the meantime I have all my time to spend with my dog (and yours!). There are loads of parks within walking distance so there's always lots of adventures to be had locally, and I love going for long walks!! I have a large fenced garden and 1 very friendly dog to keep your baby company! I have a large crate and plenty of doggy beds around the house as well as all the toys your baby may want to keep busy! I'm around all the time and usually go for 2 long walks every day however of course can vary this depending on what your baby needs.
“Really excellent service from Sebastian. He dropped in to feed and administer medicine to my two cats every day for five days. He cheerfully kept me updated with photos and videos, was totally reliable, the litter tray was properly cleared each day, I returned to happy cats and a clean smelling flat, he had tidied the daily cat destruction and even took the rubbish bag out at the end of the stay. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks Sebastian!”

“Sharon has been great with our cat Milo, despite him being very shy and hiding every day. She took great care of him and was a total life savior as we had to book her last minute. Would totally recommend her!”

“Marina was great with Flash - she sent us lots of lovely photos and videos during her drop in visits, and picked up on Flash's habits or when something potentially seemed out of the ordinary. From the photos and videos provided, it seemed that Flash was very happy indeed :) We would not hesitate to recommend Marina for looking after any of your fur babies.”

About: I am a very relaxed, chilled individual who is able to meet all of your dogs needs. I have 2 small Shih Tzu cross dogs and an adopted Cockerpoo. I have had dogs all my life from Yorkies to labradors to Alsatians. All with very different temperaments so I am used to all sorts of breeds including the grumpy ones. Myself and my husband work as a team. This allows us flexibility to meet your dogs needs. We aim to take your dog on an adventurous, sniffy walk, through the woods and out in the open if the temperature/weather allows. We are happy to follow instructions on how we should walk your dog ie on/off leads, etc. The whole family loves dogs and are always excited to meet new dogs. Photos and/or videos are sent so that the ‘parents’ can relax knowing that their little one has enjoyed their walks or visits.

“Clara was brilliant once again! Looked after our 2 cats wonderfully and kept us informed daily with updates and photos. Was even adaptable and noticed one of our cats hadn't eaten all her breakfast, but kept an eye and made sure she ate. As always, very impressed and pleased coming back to two happy cats!”

Always seamless with Jane. She has looked after my senior cat Bronson a few times now. He us diabetic so has daily insulin injections that Jane can administer for me so I know he is in safe hands. Jane always spends time with him and sends me lots of pictures and updates so I can fully relax while I'm away. Highly recommend especially if you have pets that need injections.
Luciana looked after my two cats and she was great! She provided regular daily updates with loads of pictures to put my mind at ease. The cats were looked after really well, they were very happy and relaxed both in Luciana's presence and when I came back. I would definitely recommend her as a sitter to my friends!

Daiane was so great with our cats! Her communication was really good, she came around to meet the boys and took great notes on everything needed. One of our boys is usually very shy but was really comfortable around her straight away which was really cute and reassuring. She left us great updates and pics from the visits and I could tell when I got home the boys had been looked after very well. Highly recommend Daiane and I will definitely be booking her again!

Claire was amazing, great updates and photos every visit. You could tell she took extra time to play and brush our cat so he felt cared for! Plus she was really great with last minute requests like extending the visits and helping us with some extra tasks. 100% would recommend!!

Fran helped me out super last minute with a weekend drop in on our spaniel, Roger. Fran communicated clearly and asked for preferences of how to structure the drop in which I really appreciated. Roger was happy and the house was left perfectly on our return. Would definitely book again. Thanks Fran!

Roberta is simply the best cat sitter. She took excellent care of our 2 cats while we were away for 5 days. She went above and beyond and kept us up-to-date with everything going on. She is very communicative, trustworthy and clearly adores cats. We would 100% recommend Roberta and would certainly book again the next time we're heading out of town.

Joana was perfect for our needs. With her background as a vet nurse and love for cats, she was very comfortable with our 2 bengals and they took to her really well. She also helped look after the plants and keep the house safe while we were away. I received daily updates and when the food nearly ran out she sorted it out. Best decision ever and I’d definitely use her again.
Anna went above and beyond in taking care of our cat. Dulcie can take a while to warm up to sitters, and can be difficult in taking her round-the-clock medications with a new person. Anna communicated clearly, sent pictures and videos, and made sure Dulcie was ok when she vomited straights after meds. She asked and followed our vet protocols for this case and even checked on her during lunch break that day to ensure she didn't vomit again. We were anxious leaving Dulcie due to previous past experiences, but Anna reassured us and we return home to a healthy kitty.

Excellent cat sitter! Milo seemed relaxed, happy and well taken care of when we returned. David also sent messages and photos which gave us peace of mind. I’d happily book them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.

Helen was amazing. She was friendly, reliable, and fantastic with dogs showing real care and patience throughout the day. Great communication and a positive attitude made everything run smoothly. I'd happily work with Helen again and would highly recommend her to other pet owners and sitters.
Poppy and Cleo couldn’t be in better hands during my holiday than with Ally. She is a highly responsible, easy-going and communicative girl. During my time away I got a lots of pictures showing the good time my kitties were having with her. I will definitely rebook with Ally next time I need a sitter for the kitties. 10/10 🐱!
Heidi was very responsive and helpful, my cat was unwell while I was away which has never happened to me before, but Heidi was very communicative and did her best to help until I got back, which was much appreciated! Hopefully she can watch Coco again when Coco is feeling better!

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
