“Anna was absolutely great. The pets were safe and happy, she followed our instructions to the letter, she sent us tons of pictures and did an amazing job! We can only recommend her if you are looking for someone reliable to sit your pets.”

About: Hi my name is Olivia and I live with my partner James in Morden. We absolutely love dogs and hope to get one of our own some day, but for now I'm looking to put my dog care experience to good use, and would love to look after your pet for you! Whilst I'll be the main carer, James has also spent lots of time with dogs and so is often on hand for extra cuddles and playtime too. I had a black labrador as a child so have been around dogs from a young age. Since then I have regularly looked after dogs for friends and family. I regularly looked after a friends dog with seperation anxiety, keeping them company and being a calming influence whilst the owners were at work. I've also cared for other peoples dogs through the likes of Borrow my Doggy and Trusted House Sitters. I am experienced in feeding, walking and entertaining dogs. I would always follow your instructions and their routine. I work quite flexibly. I work part time and am also a part time PhD student. I work from home and have a flexible schedule on my PhD days to accommodate your schedule. On weekends and evenings my partner James is also around and tends to help me out with any pets in our care. I have an enclosed garden so your dog can go outside safely. I am happy to accommodate your dog as best I can so just let me know what they need. I live very close to Morden Hall Park as well as lots of other green spaces and so would be sure to take your dog out for a walk(s) as needed throughout the day.
“Karie was an excellent cat sitter! She’d send a report after every visit that made all the difference, since my cat is old and needs daily medication. Thank you Karie for your hard work!! 🙏”

“Chuiwu was wonderful looking after my cat while I was away. She was very communicative, and sent me so many pictures and videos of my cat which made me feel so relaxed that she was in good hands. I would highly recommend her, and will be using her in the future!”

I have a lot of experience training and tending to my dog for the past 4.5 years. I also grew up loving dog so am aware of their need for proximity but sometimes , distance :) i can understand dog body language most times and can look after your loved ones in your absence
“Booked Hannah for a 60 minute drop in and she did a fantastic job. I got a very detailed note of her time with Coco which was lovely. They went for a nice walk and then played and had cuddles. Hannah is very professional and I highly recommend her. I will be booking her in again soon. Thank you for looking after my Coco.”

“This is the second time Clara has looked after my two cats and again I came home to two very happy relaxed boys. Clara sent photos and videos, and I felt completely comfortable that they were in great hands. I had a lovely relaxing holiday because I didn’t need to worry about them at all. ”

About: I am a very relaxed, chilled individual who is able to meet all of your dogs needs. I have 2 small Shih Tzu cross dogs and an adopted Cockerpoo. I have had dogs all my life from Yorkies to labradors to Alsatians. All with very different temperaments so I am used to all sorts of breeds including the grumpy ones. Myself and my husband work as a team. This allows us flexibility to meet your dogs needs. We aim to take your dog on an adventurous, sniffy walk, through the woods and out in the open if the temperature/weather allows. We are happy to follow instructions on how we should walk your dog ie on/off leads, etc. The whole family loves dogs and are always excited to meet new dogs. Photos and/or videos are sent so that the ‘parents’ can relax knowing that their little one has enjoyed their walks or visits.
“Amy is a fantastic cat sitter. I regularly ask Amy to watch over my two cats and I always know they will be in a safe pair of hands. It’s particularly noticeable how even the super shy cat absolutely loves Amy. I can highly recommend Amy to look after fur babies!”

“Rhiannon did a great job looking after Ziggy. Gave her lots of loving as well as her food and medication. Went above and beyond to make sure she was well looked after. Daily pics showed a well feed contented cat. Just what we hoped for. Thanks again. ”

“Really excellent service from Sebastian. He dropped in to feed and administer medicine to my two cats every day for five days. He cheerfully kept me updated with photos and videos, was totally reliable, the litter tray was properly cleared each day, I returned to happy cats and a clean smelling flat, he had tidied the daily cat destruction and even took the rubbish bag out at the end of the stay. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks Sebastian!”

About: Hello, my name is Nesli! I’m a huge dog person and have been looking after friends and family dogs for years as I love spending time with them :) I used to look after a gorgeous Shih Tzu, Willow, who had severe separation anxiety so always had to be around people. She belonged to a colleague and I was their go to sitter as Willow and I got on so well and because I really loved and cared for her. I’d have her a lot of the weekends, whenever her owners went on holidays for a couple of weeks, I even had her for 2.5months at one point as the owner had to go and deal with a sickness in the family. I love building a bond with dogs and find it quite easy to do so, so when they’re with me we both feel at home :) I live in a ground floor flat with a small courtyard at the back. I am a 5 minute walking distance from two huge parks - Morden Hall Park and Morden Park. I have a car so can help with pick up and drop off within reasonable distance. I am a pilates instructor so I have quite a relaxed schedule, I tend to teach maximum 2 / 3 classes a day. I am usually home for big chunks of time between classes if I have multiple on a day, as I only teach in surrounding areas to my flat. I will also have random days off with no classes at all during the week and I don’t teach Sundays :) As my schedule is quite flexible, I can usually work around your timings quite easily. Weekends / weekdays don’t make much of a difference to me as I don’t have the Monday to Friday job structure. I don’t currently have any other pets, so you don’t need to worry about your dog having to adjust to another pet in the house. I have a small backyard that is completely fenced off with a big wall, so it is safe to nip out there for toilet breaks / to stretch small doggos legs. I live really near two big parks, both very dog friendly. So there’s plenty of opportunity for long walks / run arounds.
About: I provide reliable, loving care and treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m attentive to each dog’s routine, whether that means energetic walks for younger dogs or gentle care for puppies and senior dogs. I’m patient, responsible, and always keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and safe. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, and attention. I enjoy spending time with dogs and plan my schedule so they receive the care and companionship they need. I provide safe, reliable, and loving pet care in both my home and the owner’s home. I follow each dog’s routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest to help them feel comfortable and stress-free. I’m experienced with different temperaments, including puppies and senior dogs, and I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I also send regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Lifelong dog lover who’s cared for family and friends’ doggies for years! After losing our family dog when I was younger, I’m really missing having a furry companion, so I’d love to help walk and care for your dog like they’re my own💝 I work full time on a hybrid schedule. My work from home days change each week so my availability will change depending on this, but I am flexible and able to walk dogs when I wfh (lunch breaks, morning walks etc). I can also have availability during the weekend I would be looking to care for a pet in the owners home due to living in rented accommodation. Will mainly offer dog walking services and some drop in visits

“Marina was great with Flash - she sent us lots of lovely photos and videos during her drop in visits, and picked up on Flash's habits or when something potentially seemed out of the ordinary. From the photos and videos provided, it seemed that Flash was very happy indeed :) We would not hesitate to recommend Marina for looking after any of your fur babies.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs, cats and even hedgehogs since I was ten years old. I am very resilient and compassionate and diligent. I am currently working full time. I have no small toys or objects which can turn into a choking hazard. I have 2 kids, who are both teenages, but don't worry about them.

Claire is absolutely amazing! She was so kind and sent me loads of updates throughout the trip. We went away during a really bad heatwave and I was very stressed about leaving my cat but she made me feel completely relaxed and was able to add additional visits as and when were needed! Thanks so much Claire!
Highly recommend! Becky took amazing care of Midge over the past 5 days while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. Midge is usually a bit shy around new people, but she warmed up to Becky right away. I came home to a very happy, relaxed kitty and a perfectly clean space. I will definitely be booking Becky again!

Really lovely experience with Hannah. She took the time to meet me beforehand which instantly put me at ease, especially as it was my first time leaving my cat. She was very friendly and professional, followed all the instructions I gave, and kept me updated with regular photos and messages. I felt completely reassured while I was away. Really nice girl and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. Thank you so much!

Kayleigh is an excellent cat sitter, kind, reliable, trustworthy and communicative. She kindly agreed to an extra visit and to administer eye medication for our cat who fell ill at the last minute, and stayed extra time one day to make sure our cat got treated! Really appreciated the photos and updates as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kayleigh and we hope to rebook her for our next trip!
Suzanne was exceptionally diligent, patient, and truly committed to my cats' needs over the 3 days. My trio are usually quite nervous around new people, but Suzanne has a wonderful approach that made them feel relaxed and happy. Updates were regularly received and lovely photos shared. I feel completely at ease leaving my pets in her care and highly recommended her to others!! 👩🏻🦰🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈⬛

Very trustworthy and cat friendly person. Paula provided excellent service visiting our cats twice a day to feed and provide attention for 3 weeks. She provided daily reports and photos to keep us informed. I would recommend her and book her again. Thank you.

Alice looked after my cat Sütlaç( milk pudding) while I was away for 3 days and was really helpful. It was reassuring to know my cat was in good hands, and everything went smoothly. I’d definitely recommend her a lot!! And will definetly rebook her in future if it also suits her :))

10/10, Simoné was absolutely amazing. I had never had a pet sitter before as I was always so reluctant to trust someone I’ve just met with my Rosie. Right off the bat when I met Simoné I instantly felt at ease and she was so kind. She was absolutely wonderful throughout my trip away, constantly sending photos and videos and better yet my shy little cat who never likes strangers, instantly warmed to Simoné and was best friends. I highly recommend anyone to hire Simoné to watch over their pets, she’s highly communicative, responsible, and has a massive love for animals.

Alexei and Lin were perfect sitters. Ziggy took to them immediately. They gave her lots of love and attention as well as making sure she had her medication regularly. Kept us updated all the time with pictures and videos. I would definitely use them again and throughly recommend them. Lisa, Bob & Ziggy xxx

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
