I’m confident with puppy training basics (house training, leash manners, routine building) as well as senior dog care, including administering medication and providing a calm, gentle approach. I pride myself on being reliable, attentive, and flexible—treating every dog as if they were my own. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I adapt to each pet’s unique needs and routine.

Jo and Sam came to my rescue with super late notice. Offering to come and look after our 13 week old puppy after I had an emergency work meeting to attend. They were super reliable, reasonable and brilliant care given to our puppy throughout the day. Thank you
Our Dog Bentley had a fantastic stay, Jo could not be more helpful and kept us up to date with photos during his stay, will definitely be using Jo for future trips and would recommend anyone who asks, fantastic value for money to and much better than Kennels where I'm sure Bentley would not of received the love and care he got!

This was our second time getting help from Joanne. Joanne was super prompt, easy to communicate with, and took great care of Obi! He seems to have loved his walk and even barked less this time around! :)
Joanne was super communicative, clear and was there on time. Our pet seems to have loved her company! Would definitely recommend! Went out of the way to check about refilling water etc.
We are really pleased with Joanne’s service. She kept us regularly updated with pictures and videos, which gave us great peace of mind. Hugo came back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!

I have a fenced garden and a friendly pouch to play with and keep your fur baby company. We treat all fur babies as our own and they are free to sit on our couches and sleep on our bed if they wish.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping pets happy, comfortable, and entertained. We’ll start with plenty of fresh air – whether that’s a morning walk around the local area, some garden play, or a mix of both depending on their needs. Throughout the day, I like to include fun activities like fetch, tug-of-war, puzzle toys, and plenty of cuddle time. For pets who enjoy socialising, there are opportunities for safe play and interaction, while those who prefer quiet time can relax in a calm space. I also make sure to keep up with their usual routines for meals, toilet breaks, and naps, so they feel settled and at home. Every pet is different, so I tailor the day to their personality – whether that means long adventures, gentle strolls, or extra lap time.
- CatsJoanne can host up to 5 pets per night
- It’s really helpful to know as much as possible about each pet before they stay with me. Things like: Their usual routine (meal times, walk lengths, nap times). Any medical needs, allergies, or medications. How they get along with other dogs, cats, or people. Favourite toys, games, or comforts that help them feel at home. Any behaviours to be aware of (e.g. nervousness, pulling on the lead, separation anxiety). The more I know about their personality and habits, the better I can make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re with me.
