About: Hello! It’s lovely to meet you but most importantly, I’m looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Here’s a little about me… I am available for the following services: - Dog Walking. I am happy to run, walk, or stroll with your dog depending on their exercise requirements. I've worked with working cockers and working labs to pups, so understand the needs of different size dogs and different breeds. I am a runner and I love the outdoors, so I am happy to spend as long as your dog needs to ensure they get the right exercise come rain or shine. If required and you have the facilities, I can also make sure they are mud free once they’re returned home!! - Drop in for feeding / company. If, like I used to be, your work takes you out of your home for extended periods of time, I am happy to help you with looking after your furry friend in your absence. I can pop in to let them out for a wee, feed them or just show them some love and keep them company. I have worked with anxious dogs with attachment issues and am happy to spend time with them, ensuring they are calm and happy while you’re out. I have always been a dog lover, growing up with spaniels as a little person. I have helped friends, family members and colleagues with their dogs before committing to it as a hobby and taking on 2 dogs as part of my exercise routine through borrow-my-doggy. Whilst I don't have a dog myself right now (my husband won the argument over dogs or cats when we were in our 20s and I was foolish!), I have always had dogs in my life. Due to being a cat owner, I can't take anyone's dogs into my home, so my support extends to home visits and walking. Not overnights stays either I'm afraid. As a mother of a young daughter and after what has been non-stop work for over 20 years, I have decided to take a career break. I have time on my hands and would love nothing more than to help you look after your pets. I am available any time-of-day Monday-Friday and most weekends with some restrictions. My only restriction on weekdays is the school run (8.45am and 3.25pm). I look forward to hearing from you. Aside from school drop-off (8.45) and pick-up (3.25pm) I am available most days of the week and at all times. I have a car so can ensure reliability for pick ups and ensure that your dogs get a varied walk if you prefer. I am unable to look after others' pets in my own home as our cats are not used to other animals. However, I am happy to walk your dogs for as long or short as you would like, in all weathers. I can visit them in your home and I'll feed and love them as if they were my own! I can also ensure other odd-jobs are done if required such as putting out fresh water, staying to keep them company for a short period of time, bathing / washing them down post a long walk or anything else you would like for your furry friend! I'll do for them what you need for them to stay happy and content whilst you're out.
“Lexi is a reliable, respectful, and considerate sitter who looked after our home and our Bengal cat for a week. I would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a caring and conscientious sitter!”

“Kirsty was great with Lily. We could tell by the regular updates that Kirsty was taking good care of Lily and getting to know her well. Would recommend her and will definitely use her again when we need help with Lily.”

“Sarah looked after my cat over a long weekend and did a great job! It was so reassuring coming home to a well looked after pet. She is very reliable and gives great updates. I would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. For the past 8 years, I’ve regularly walked, boarded, and cared for my mum’s French bulldog, Coco, giving me hands-on experience with daily routines, companionship, play and attentive care. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs in my home for up to two weeks at a time while they’ve been on holiday, so I’m comfortable providing consistent, loving care over longer stays. I’m patient, reliable, and love getting to know each pet’s personality and needs. I’m currently working part time so have dedicated days off, and work from home one day a week, which could suit anyone looking to establish consistency of care for their dog as part of a new routine. I have a good sized enclosed garden and open plan (hard floor) living for dogs to enjoy. I have a bath with shower and am happy to bathe dogs as requested. I have lots of dog toys, blankets and towels and your dog will always have a full water bowl. Dietary requirements and dog needs will be catered to as requested.
About: Hi! I’m a social worker and have been working in social care for four years. I’m very active — I go to the gym regularly and do weight training. I’ve had a family dog since he was a puppy; he’s now 11 and lives with my mum. He’s a senior dog, and I still care for him and love him so much — I really miss spending time with him. I would care for your dog in the same way, giving them attention, love, and exercise. I’m trustworthy and reliable — I have an enhanced DBS check and a clean driving license, and I’m happy to share all my details. I love doing activities with dogs, playing, brushing, walking, and generally caring for them. I regularly bathe and look after my Cavachon myself, so I’m experienced in handling all aspects of dog care. I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can easily fit pet care around my day. I can pop in during breaks, provide care on short notice, and am available on weekends. This flexibility allows me to spend quality time with pets — walking, playing, feeding, and giving them attention — while also ensuring their needs are met consistently. I’m loving and caring for dogs, respect your home, tidy, follow routines, provide exercise, check-ins, understand allergies, and can teach tricks while keeping pets safe and happy.

About: I have always had dogs and cats as pets growing up and as an adult have always had cats and dogs. My family all have dogs so I walk and look after their dogs when needed. I am home every day so I am able to be flexible where possible so message me with any requests and I will do my best to help if I am able to. We have a large garden with 5 foot fencing all round so fully secure. Lots of lawned area and a wooded part at the back of the garden. There is a summer house and in nice weather the doors are open for any dogs that want to have a sleep in the shade on one of the sofas in there. In the house there are 3 rooms with sofas and a couple of dog beds so that your dog will have a choice of where they feel comfortable sleeping. When walking your dog they will be lead walked on a long line lead so that they can enjoy freedom to explore but it enables me to ensure that your dog remains safe. Please let me know about any behaviour traits and what your dogs routine is so that I can ensure they are comfortable and happy.

About: I grew up with family labradors and now have over 14 years experience owning miniature daschunds. I am also the go to person who looks after all my friends dogs when they go away with pure excitement. I work for a wildlife charity, and am very passionate about animals. I love building special bonds and appreciating their unique personalities - whatever they like or taking consideration for things they may not also! I would like to think I’m a very kind person, I’ve taken home and washed and fed a lost dog without a seconds thought - reuniting them with their owner! I use Rover myself as an owner for my dog Twiggy, and so appreciate what other owners may need. Reliability, responsive and trustworthy who will send you the updates you would like & photos. I’ve completed 2 rounds of puppy training and additional training for more senior dogs with Surrey Dog School & have plenty of kongs, enrichment games and a secure garden for your dog to enjoy. I like to take on one owners dog at a time and treat them as an extension of my family - wherever I go, the dogs too! Happy to do a meet and greet and I do have some great testimonials on Rover and I’m sure some of my regular clients would also vouch for me as I’ve looked after their dogs for years now! I treat my dog as an extension of myself where I will always try to bring them as much as possible wherever I go. I work from home every day mostly except Wednesdays. My work is very flexible and I make sure to take breaks with enrichment games, a walk and short bursts of training through the day in short intervals. I'll follow your pet's routine as closely as possible to minimise any disruption to their daily life. This includes feeding them on schedule, taking them for walks in familiar surroundings, and maintaining any training or medication routines you have in place. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind knowing that your furry friend is happy and well-cared for. We live in a house with a secure garden and I’m not fussy with dogs on sofa but will follow your routine if that’s not allowed at home. Twiggy is playful and friendly. Likes all breeds of dogs which is because of how hard I’ve worked with early socialisation! If your dog needs a break I have baby gates across our home which is never an issue so they can also have some personal alone time. So important to catch up on the snoozes!
About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and have had dogs in my life for over 15 years. I previously owned a Labrador, who I cared for throughout her entire life, including her final years when she was bravely battling liver cancer. During that time, I supported her with feeding, medication, comfort, and mobility when she needed extra help. That experience taught me so much about patience, empathy, and giving dogs the love and care they deserve at every stage of life. I work from home when needed, with flexibility for regular breaks, which makes it easy for me to spend plenty of time with dogs throughout the day. I love walking and aim for 10,000 steps every day, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and fun company! I also have every other Friday off and most weekends completely free, which gives me extra time to focus on walks, playtime, and cuddles. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure every dog in my care gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy in my company. I’ll take them on walks to get exercise and fresh air, but more importantly, I focus on fun! Playtime, games, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the day, tailored to each dog’s personality and energy level. Whether in my home or theirs, I make sure your pet feels loved, secure, and entertained while you’re away.

Elmbridge pet owners share their Rover experiences
Richard is amazing!! He watched our cat, Rollo, over the holidays and was so patient with our shy kitty. In a very short amount of time, Rollo was so comfortable and affectionate with him. Richard went above and beyond to make sure Rollo was well cared for and we are so grateful. We will 100% be working with Richard again.

We were first time users of Rover and were a little apprehensive about how it all works at first. Naomi put us at ease from the first ‘meet and greet’ and she was very approachable and sweet with mavis - I could tell mavis liked her straight away! Naomi was very communicative, punctual, and sent us daily pictures of mavis. I would 10000% recommend her to anyone and I will (try!) and book her every time we need someone to look after mavis. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Anna’s genuine and warm love of animals is evident immediately and my little Maltese, Daisy, took to her the way she takes to just a few closest friends or relatives of the household - with great tail wagging, smiles and excitement :) It was a great relief to find someone like Anna who I could leave Daisy with for the evening, and it is obvious that they bonded really well during the evening. Thank you to Anna for her caring and dedication to our little friends.
