About: Hi there! I’m Emily and I live with my boyfriend Luke, and our bearded dragon, Leelo. I have lived my whole life with a dog (or four) in the home. Last year Luke and I lost our beloved senior Chocolate Lab, Toffee. Since then, I’ve missed having dogs in the home terribly but cannot face getting another one just yet. I look after my mum’s Staffy/ Boxer from time to time, as well as my grandparent’s Schnauzer twins and Luke’s mum’s Jack Russell. As cliche as it is, I love all dogs, all sizes, all ages and all temperaments. I also have worked previously for a boarding agency in the offices, helping to match the right carers to the right pets so have some experience in that area! I work full time however I work shifts across 4 days a week. I would aim to only look after pets on my days/ afternoons off as I would want to give them my full attention to make sure that they’re coping well. I have a small back garden which is good for shorter visits. I live in an area where there are also lots of green spaces and local dog walkers. We do have a bearded dragon but she lives in her tank when animals are round and is very quiet.

“So grateful to Molly for looking after Samson - she sent photos at every feed with updates on how he was doing. I could tell on my return he had been looked after properly- thank you Molly x”

“Amelia has cared for Winston a few times now and we’re so glad we found her via Rover. Excellent communication as always and it’s obvious he’s having a lovely time from the photos 😸 thank you, Amelia, for keeping him a happy cat!”

“I’m so very pleased my cat Julian was left with Gemma. She was very polite and kind and very informative throughout my holiday with lovely pictures and messages. ☺️ I would highly recommend her to anyone and definitely use her services again.👍🏻😁”

About: I've had cats as pets since childhood and love keeping them happy and entertained. I have strong experience in taking care of cats and various breeds of dog for friends and family, and enjoy the process of getting to know pets and their unique needs. I also like to paint cat and dog portraits in acrylics, so would be happy to provide a portrait as an additional bonus! I currently work from home so have a lot of flexibility in terms of pet care and visits. I'm happy to arrange scheduled visits or longer overnight visits. I ensure that each pet's individual needs are met, and keep tabs on their eating, playing and toilet habits. I enjoy playing with pets.

About: I'm an active, reliable dog lover with over 40 years of hands on experience caring for dogs. I offer a safe, caring home where dogs receive plenty of attention, exercise and affection. I know that every dog has their own routine and personality, so I always tailor our care to suit their needs. I are happy to follow feeding schedules, dietary requirements, medication instructions and walking routines to help your dog feel comfortable and settled. I have my own dog, Bruce, a friendly and well trained 4 year old Australian Labradoodle who is sociable and enjoys the company of other dogs. He is used to meeting new furry friends and helps make our home a welcoming place for visiting dogs. Whether your dog loves walks, playtime or simply being around people, I will make sure they are well cared for and treated like part of the family. I also understand how important communication is, so I'm happy to provide updates for peace of mind while you are away. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because I'm an active family and already structure our day around walks, exercise, feeding and time with our own dog, Bruce. I make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, companionship and outdoor time, while keeping to their usual routine as closely as possible. I provide a safe, calm and caring home where dogs are treated like part of the family. I take time to understand each dog’s routine, temperament and any specific needs, including feeding, exercise and sleeping arrangements. I have a large fenced garden for dogs to run around in a secure setting. I supervise introductions carefully, keep owners updated and always focus on making dogs feel secure, comfortable and well cared for.

About: Friends & neighbours have relied on me to check in on pets, feeding and walks. I’ve always lived with dogs in the household. I have experience with giant dog breeds and dogs with special needs who require specific, precisely timed care such as administering medication. When it comes to behaviour, I am especially intuitive when there’s fear and apprehension in my furry friends and am quick to soothe. I’m very well versed and understand every step in epileptic care for dogs. I am self employed and work from my home in Walton on Thames. My schedule isn’t as busy these days and would love to pepper in pet visits and dog walks. My best friend is my cane corso, Raisin who I’m working with to ease her agoraphobia. She is an apprehensive rescue pup who loves her safe home space. I would like to fit in pet care between care for my own friend and scheduled client appointments. If we can get a routine set, that would work best for me! I will only offer home visits, and walks. Any requirements for enrichment, feeding, exercise, company or potty breaks, I’m more than happy to help! I don’t own a car and travel primarily by motorbike.

Elmbridge pet owners share their Rover experiences
Lara was amazing! My cat is really shy and generally doesn't come close to people and within a couple of days she managed to get him to like her. Because we had just moved, I was a little nervous about him being left alone, but Lara's daily updates and pictures and sometimes videos made my holiday a lot better, I could relax about him, knowing he was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Lara for petsitting!

Fabulous experience with Margaret! She made the time to come over before I left for holiday to meet my cats and understand their needs. She sent me daily updates and pictures to reassure me that my babies were OK and I came back to two very happy and content kitties!
