“Catherine has been able to help out at short notice for a few dates in January. She took time out of her Sunday to come round and meet my dogs in advance, which was really kind of her and helped to put my mind at rest for my first time using Rover. During the visit itself she sent photos and updated me to let me know that all was well. Thanks so much for your help Catherine!”

“Seffie looked after our cat Gus for 3 days. We would definitely book her again, communication was regular and she gave detailed report cards of how Gus had been with photos etc.. Seffie also cleaned up after Gus and left everything super tidy. Thank you so much, Seffie. X”
“Lara was amazing! My cat is really shy and generally doesn't come close to people and within a couple of days she managed to get him to like her. Because we had just moved, I was a little nervous about him being left alone, but Lara's daily updates and pictures and sometimes videos made my holiday a lot better, I could relax about him, knowing he was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Lara for petsitting!”

“Richard was great with our nervous labradoodle Daisy - very understanding and gave her lots of space and she responded really well to him. Richard was very communicative and easy going whilst organising the drop in and hope to book another visit soon!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved being around animals. I regularly look after my parents’ two dogs and have experience with dogs of all different sizes and personalities. I particularly love terriers and sighthounds, but I’m a big fan of all dogs! I’m happy going on walks, playing, giving lots of cuddles or just keeping them company and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my routine as I regularly look after my parents’ two dogs. I’m used to making time for walks, feeding, playtime and giving them plenty of attention. I also have flexibility in my week to fit in walks and pet visits around my schedule. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe and settled, whether they’re in my home or their own. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding and playtime, and give them plenty of attention and cuddles. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions from the owner.

About: I’m a dedicated and reliable pet sitter with a lifelong love of animals. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and have plenty of experience caring for different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, so I feel confident handling a wide range of needs. I’m based in a family home and have a toddler who absolutely adores dogs. We often spend time outdoors, enjoying walks and visiting the park where we can say hello to the neighbourhood dogs. It is very important that any dog in my care must be comfortable around young children and have a gentle temperament. Your pet’s safety, routine, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’ll treat your dog like part of our family. I’m happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away, and I’m always open to discussing your pet’s specific needs to ensure the best possible care. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I work full-time but am home two days during the week, where I’m able to provide more consistent companionship, walks, and supervision throughout the day. On weekdays when I’m working, I ensure pets are settled, comfortable, and have everything they need before I leave, with quality time, walks, and attention in the mornings and evenings. I’m available for boarding over weekends, when I can offer plenty of time, longer walks, and lots of attention as part of our family routine. We enjoy getting outdoors, so dogs in my care will benefit from regular fresh air and exercise. I’m happy to be flexible where possible and will always prioritise your pet’s routine, comfort, and wellbeing. Please feel free to message me to discuss specific needs or schedules! I have a fully fenced garden, giving dogs a secure outdoor space to enjoy fresh air and playtime. We’re also within walking distance of a lovely park and forest, so your dog will benefit from regular walks in calm, green surroundings. I have a toddler who is very gentle and used to being around dogs, so any pets staying with us should be comfortable around young children and have a calm, friendly temperament. All interactions are always closely supervised to ensure a safe and positive environment.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with a lovable family dog that quickly became my best friend. Since then, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for friends, family, and even former bosses, whenever someone needs a reliable, caring hand, I’m there. These days, your dog will be looked after by both me and my partner Caleb, which means double the affection, playtime, and attention! It’s important your dog is comfortable with men too. I know that leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful (for both you and them). My mission is to make their time away feel like a retreat: full of love, calm, fun, and plenty of one-on-one care. Whether that’s long walks in nature, riverside runs or just lazy cuddle time at home, I tailor each day to your dog’s mood and needs. I’m a very active person who loves the outdoors, so if your dog enjoys exercise and adventure, they’ll be right at home with me. But I also know when to slow things down and just be a calm, reassuring presence. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, but since I currently live in a flat, I’m best suited to care for small to medium-sized dogs. Most of my experience is with cockapoos and doodle breeds, but I’m open to any dog, as long as we’re the right fit for each other. I also understand how important structure and routine are. I always respect your training style and maintain consistency, so your dog feels safe, secure, and happy. With me (and Caleb), your pup will be in loving, capable hands, ,and hopefully feel like they’ve had a little holiday of their own while you’ve been away. I’m a marketing professional working full-time, primarily from home, but with occasional days in our London office. With enough notice I can look after your dog during weekdays or weekends. I currently live in an apartment with a fenced balcony. I’m also a 2 min walk away from a big park where I’d happily take your dog for regular walkies
“Lexi took great care of Mango, our cat, for a few days of our trip. She was incredibly punctual, reliable, and followed all of our feeding instructions perfectly. She kept us updated throughout her visits, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing Mango was well looked after. I highly recommend her!”

Seffie looked after our cat Gus for 3 days. We would definitely book her again, communication was regular and she gave detailed report cards of how Gus had been with photos etc.. Seffie also cleaned up after Gus and left everything super tidy. Thank you so much, Seffie. X
Naomi was very polite. & Respectful of my home. She was always very punctual! As well as very efficient & organised. My cats are friendly, & came to Naomi. & Naomi looked after my 3 fur-babies very well. I would definitely recommend Naomi! & I would definitely hire her again to feed my 3 cats.

Nina showed a lot of care to both are younger boundless energy Labradoodle and our older, sleepy, Pointer, during very hot weather...probably too much as they are not used to so much care! ;-) Made sure water was topped up and supplied snacks and made sure they had a small run around in the garden. Arrived on time and stayed with them for nearly an hour. Thank you.

Lara was amazing! I would definitely recommend Lara for petsitting!

Fabulous experience with Margaret! She made the time to come over before I left for holiday to meet my cats and understand their needs. She sent me daily updates and pictures to reassure me that my babies were OK and I came back to two very happy and content kitties!

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
