“We can really recommend Natalie to take care of your dog in her home. She updated us very often and informed how Zena was handling the very hot weather in the UK. I really like that Natalie is very relaxed and seems to understand dogs behaviour very well. Zena could sleep wherever she wanted and walked up for a cuddle with Natalie when I was picking her up which is a very good sign👍”

“Archie and I cannot thank Ineta and her family enough for all the loving care of Archie this week while I had to go deal with an emergency up North. Ineta was very kind to step up last minute to care for Archie and send lovely updates, photos and videos. Archie had a wonderful time, was loved and looked after very well. He and Ineta's sons had the best time playing as well. Ineta is also very fit and healthy and took Archie on very nice walks and to his appointments this week. Highly recommended, caring and responsible sitter.”

“We could not have asked for a better sitter. We were away for a really long time and Gina was absolutely brilliant. We had no concerns being away, her updates and photos were always thorough and we could see in the cats that they were at ease with her.”

“Nicola was absolutely phenomenal with Effie, making her feel very comfortable and safe. Effie is very shy, so Nicola took great care to approach her gradually and spend a lot of time with her, with Effie eventually opening up to play, relax, and let her guard down. It’s always hard to leave pets at home while travelling, but Nicola made it easier!”

About: Hi there! My name is Catherine and I have been a cat lover for as far as I can remember. I have had several cats over the years and I am currently Daisy's favourite human. I rescued her during lockdown. We have adopted each other and she is now like my shadow : she follows me everywhere in the house! I am quite proud of the fact that she went from an aloof princess to a lap cat princess!! I must be doing something right, aside from filling in her food bowls :D

“Andie has been fantastic on my first experience on this site! She kept me fully informed, made recommendations and has been completely contactable during my time away, ensuring that my cat was well looked after! Have already got her booked in again! Thank you so much ”

“Sarah offered a very professional approach to looking after Milo whilst we were away. We particularly liked the daily photos and written updates. We feel confident to use Sarah/ Rover website to look after our cat in the future. Thank you to Sarah for visiting our house!”

“Jess was absolutely superb as a house and cat sitter. This was our first experience of using Rover, and after some initial difficulties with the handover (which were not Jess's fault), we are delighted with how it all went. Jess obviously genuinely enjoyed taking care of our cats, sending us lovely messages and pics via WhatsApp, and asking lots of questions to make sure the cats were happy. And she really looked after our home, leaving it in imnaculate shape, and generally going above and beyond with various extra touches. She is obviously a very caring and thoughtful person, and we will certainly ask her to do the same job again, if she is available and wants to!”

About: Having previously fostered for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, we were delighted to adopt our own little Bichon, Sid. We shared six wonderfully happy years with him before he recently passed away. Now, our dog-friendly home full of love and space is ready to welcome your dog. We have a secure garden and plenty of lovely local walks right on our doorstep. We truly believe a home should feel as much your dog’s as it does ours, so any pet staying with us is free to relax and roam throughout the house without restriction. We love going for walks and are home throughout the day. Understanding how important routine is for dogs, we’re happy to adapt ours to suit each individual dog we welcome into our home. We have a fenced safe garden and a house big enough to roam around. We had a driveway. We have previously fostered and adopted by Battersea Dogs Home and passed their vetting process.
“Paris is a kind and lovely girl who made us both feel so welcome. It’s clear she loves pets as if they were her own. Cooper was thoroughly spoilt and we will definitely be booking again with Paris. Thank you again for looking after my boy so well. It means such a lot knowing he’s in safe hands.”

About: I have trained both my parent's dog as well as my own dog (cockapoo '21). Think: puppy and behaviour training in village halls and outdoor fields. I have done house sitting for several families in Surrey and enjoy looking after pets and the house. I'm super neat and could also agree on some other jobs, like watering plants etc. I'm an online language teacher and can work from everywhere, as long as I have wifi! As long as I get enough notice, I can easily plan longer house & pet sits as well. Usually families request me for school holidays and bank holiday weekends at least half a year in advance, so the earlier you ask, the bigger the chance that I'm free. I like clear written instructions with regard to food, exercise, care and timings. If you wanted to book me for a weekend or an extended stay and prefer a video call or quick meet beforehand, I could definitely get that organised as well. I'm new on Rover, but have done house and pet sitting before. This was more informal and through word of mouth.
About: Hi I’m Susie and I love animals. Growing up we had many dogs, cats, chickens and guinea pigs and our last dog was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I currently don’t have a dog so decided to fill a very much needed gap of looking after dogs and getting my doggy fix all at the same time. I mostly only take one dog at a time and your dog becomes a part of our family while you are away and if history goes to show they will be absolutely delighted anytime they return. Snuggles in bed are encouraged (if that’s ok with you) and I really do love looking after peoples pets as if they are my own. I’m someone that is very picky when it comes to leaving my animals with someone and I’m so proud that I’m able to be that person for others, where you go away knowing that your dog is in the best of hands and being adored whilst you are away. I take them out for walks everyday and will take them with me everywhere I can if they are dogs that are comfortable with that. Dogs must like children as I have two ages 12 and 14. I miss the dogs we look after when they go and very much look forward to seeing them again soon x I am a stay at home mum who works a few hours a week as a swim teacher. The dogs that stay here become a part of our family whilst they are here x We treat your dog like it’s our own beloved animal. As we get to know your dog it becomes our loved animal too. We have a fenced garden and also live across the road from a very large green space that also has a river where many people walk their dogs off lead. I’m happy for you and your dog to come and meet me before staying to put you and your dogs mind at rest :)
About: Hello, I'm Ryan! 👋 I've been a devoted dog dad for over 8 years to my two adopted pups, Bella and Indi. Sadly, Indi passed away last year after a brave fight with cancer, but the love and care I gave (and still give to Bella) has only deepened my passion for looking after animals. I know first-hand how much our pets mean to us - they’re not just animals, they’re family. I’ve gained experience with everything from giving medications to building trust with shy or anxious pups. Having used Rover for many years to book dog sitters for Indi and Bella, I also know how important it is to know that your loved ones are safe and happy while at doggy day care. I work from home full-time as a software engineer, which means your pet will never be left alone or ignored. I have a spacious, secure garden full of toys for playtime, and with Hatherop Park just a few steps away, your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air. Whether your pet loves quiet cuddles, interactive games, or outdoor adventures, I’m happy to tailor their care to make them feel right at home. I work from home full-time Monday to Thursday inclusive. I take my dog Bella on a walk every morning and can also fit in another walk in the afternoon if your dog needs one. I have a large garden and can play your dog in the garden throughout the day. I'm happy to discuss any particular requirements you have. I have a large, secure, fenced garden that’s always accessible to your dog, giving them plenty of safe space to explore and play. Inside, there’s a variety of comfy dog beds and a huge selection of toys to keep them entertained and relaxed. My own dog, Indi, was a small Jackawawa, so I added dog steps to help her get up onto the bed and sofa safely. Those are still in place, so if your dog has little legs or needs a bit of help, they’ll still be able to enjoy their independence around my house. I make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and at home - whether they’re curling up on the sofa or zooming around the garden!

About: I offer caring, reliable pet sitting with a focus on long, enriching walks in woodland and green spaces. I love giving dogs the time they need to explore, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors, helping them stay happy, calm, and well-stimulated. I’m patient, attentive, and confident handling different energy levels, from playful pups to older dogs who prefer a steadier pace. I always follow routines closely and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’m able to dedicate a lot of time and attention to pet care, ensuring dogs receive regular exercise, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I follow a consistent routine that includes long walks, feeding, rest, and one-on-one interaction so each pet feels comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment in my home. I have a secure fenced yard and two friendly, well-socialised dogs for company if your dog enjoys being around others. All interactions are supervised, routines are followed carefully, and I’m happy to crate dogs if needed. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“What can I say other than brilliant, very nice and polite! Looked after little Obi who can somewhat be a menace but was so chilled out with Ross! I can’t thank you enough for helping him with us confidence around new dogs ? will definitely be returning to see Ross again soon! ♥️??”

“We were so pleased to find Dominika, who has now looked after our 20-month-old Chihuahua, Donnie, a couple of times for the day. Dominika is responsive, communicative, friendly, and clearly loves dogs. From the moment we met her, we felt completely at ease leaving Donnie in her care. Each time, Donnie has come home happy, relaxed, well exercised, fed, and thoroughly looked after. It’s clear that Dominika spends quality time with him, making sure he gets plenty of attention, play, and care throughout the day. We really appreciate the updates and communication while he’s with her, which gives us great peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dominika to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter!”

About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover and have had dogs in my life for over 15 years. I previously owned a Labrador, who I cared for throughout her entire life, including her final years when she was bravely battling liver cancer. During that time, I supported her with feeding, medication, comfort, and mobility when she needed extra help. That experience taught me so much about patience, empathy, and giving dogs the love and care they deserve at every stage of life. I work from home when needed, with flexibility for regular breaks, which makes it easy for me to spend plenty of time with dogs throughout the day. I love walking and aim for 10,000 steps every day, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and fun company! I also have every other Friday off and most weekends completely free, which gives me extra time to focus on walks, playtime, and cuddles. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure every dog in my care gets the attention, exercise, and love they need. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy in my company. I’ll take them on walks to get exercise and fresh air, but more importantly, I focus on fun! Playtime, games, and plenty of cuddles are always part of the day, tailored to each dog’s personality and energy level. Whether in my home or theirs, I make sure your pet feels loved, secure, and entertained while you’re away.
“Myrtle had a lovely day with Kristina. The photos and video of her were so lovely to see. Kristina was great, really responsive and took wonderful care of our pup. Will definitely reach out again when we need care for Myrtle.”

“Meg and Harry were amazing to meet. I felt reassured leaving Muffin with them, especially as she has only ever had one sitter before, who she was already comfortable with. She seemed to adjust to them easily, which was lovely to see. I’ll definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and trustworthy dog sitters.”

“Poppy instantly fell in love with Nat, and I couldn't have been happier leaving them together. Communication was excellent and I would happily leave Poppy with Nat again and recommend her to others!”

“Simon is truly wonderful with dogs! Very professional, always on time and gave us great photo updates throughout the day. We had our 10 year old Chihuahua, Teddy, stay at their house in Teddington for doggy daycare and he had an amazing time! Teddy, being an older dog, would normally take a lot longer to warm up to new people and places - and is generally more suspicious of anyone he's not familiar with. So we were thrilled when we saw that he settled in really quickly with Simon and had two great days of walkies in parks, sitting on laps and sunbathing on their patio. ☀️ Teddy was so visibly excited after his daycare that he spent the first hour after coming doing zoomies and wagging his tail continuously, which again is so rare for Ted! Very happy to have found Simon and his partner, and will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve been friendly with dogs my whole life and frequently dropped in to look after my neighbours dogs. I currently have a lovely springer a home. I am available all day every day to spend plenty of time with your pup - all dogs are welcome! Size, breed and age don’t matter :) I have just finished my A-levels and am planning to do a gap year so I am available the entire week to play with and pay attention to your dog! Two walks a day is standard with the first usually in the late morning. A second walk also usually takes place between 4-6 depending on energy levels. I have a fenced garden roughly 20x30m, so plenty of space to play ball and searching games. I have a male (neutered) springer spaniel who is very friendly at home, he's currently 2.5yrs so I am very used to a moderately high energy dog.
“Dovile looked after my 6 month old puppy very well and my dog had a great fun playing with her lovely dog. Communication was very good and she sent me lots of updates which was very nice of her. I will definitely ask Dovile to look after my pup again and Aika works love to spend the time with them :-)”

About: I’ve had my own dog for 10 years since he was a puppy, and I’ve grown up with cats throughout my life, so I am very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. Because i’ve had my own pets, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and caring to look after your pets. I also have experience on BorrowMyDoggy, where i helped care for an elderly dog including walking and keeping them company. I’m confident with many different pet personalities and always make sure animals feel safe, happy and comfortable. I am currently a university student home for the summer, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to give pets the care and attention they need. I am generally very available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work around each pet’s usual routine as much as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions from owners. Through my experience looking after my own pets, I understand how important it is to keep pets secure, comfortable and supervised. I always make sure gates and doors are closed, and leads are secure. In an owners home I would follow instructions carefully and keep their pets routine normal as possible. I will be respectful of other people’s homes and keep everything clean. I can also send photos and updates so owners feel reassured.
“Sophie comes highly recommended. She was very personable, trustworthy, and responsible, with great communications, she had great time keeping and her manner gave me every confidence to entrust her with my dog who had a great day of walks, care and company. Many thanks Sophie!”

About: A lifetime of caring for pets big and small, from hamsters to feathered friends and fish to fur babies. As fellow fur-baby parents who travel often, we know the stress of leaving them behind. That's why I treat every pet like my own, safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Having fur babies of my own has taught me how important consistency and attention are, so I approach every animal with the same care I give at home, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away ensuring bowls are full, paws are clean and tails are wagging if that means going for a walk or a cuddle. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of various sizes from frenchies and cockerpoos to cocker spaniels and chihuahuas to labradors. I offer dog walking services and drop in visits. Having two fur babies of my own has taught me how important consistency and attention are, so I approach every animal with the same care I give at home, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away ensuring bowls are full, paws are clean and tails are wagging if that means going for a walk or a cuddle. Please note that there is a small additional fee for walks more than 5 miles from Staines high street to account for travel costs and additional travel time. I provide attentive care tailored to each pet. I keep you updated, make sure pets are fed and walked as needed, and give cuddles if that's their thing. “Ella arrived punctually on both occasions and y little dog seemed very content on his return. He has had hip problems and she took care of him and noticed when he was tired. I would happily use her again.”

“Tamyn and her family are wonderful and responsible dog sitters. My giant mountain dog Duke was cared for and pampered so well and entertained the whole time. About: My wife and I love animals and have had our current dog Remi now for 5 years. I have gone through a lot of training with Remi including gun dog training, so I am competent in reinforcing commands and behaviour. I like to make sure dogs are engaged on in my care, in whatever way is best suited to the dog. Some dogs really engage with the ball, others enjoy a some level of training or some enjoy a gentle stroll with a bit of inquisitive sniffing about. There are some great walking spots across this area and I am very happy to help take your lovely dog out for their walk. We have a secure fenced garden where your dog can enjoy some outdoor time when boarding or doggy day care, and they will enjoy a loving home while they are here. I am currently doing freelance work at home so my schedule is pretty flexible. I am generally available for dog walks, drop in visits, boarding and doggy day care on weekdays. I will always walk in a park in the local area, and I will make sure we talk about anything specific your dog needs on their walk (on/off lead, commands, treats, walk routine, behaviour around other dogs/people etc) so we are both comfortable with everything. If you are ok with it my dog Remi will join us on the walk, but no problem if you want your dog to have a solo walk.
