“Brunel enjoyed his week with Raul and his family. Raul took great care of him with early walks before it got to hot, loads of play time and making him part of the family. Can't recommend him enough!”

“Another wonderful stay for Bertie! We feel so happy leaving Bertie for his own holiday when we are away and can’t bring him with us. So well looked after and always lots of other dogs around for him to play with xxx”

“Mac had a great time staying with Kristina, she took excellent care of him and sent me daily updates to let me know he was fine, and also how he was eating/sleeping which was a great relief for me.”

“We booked with Elizabeth for the second time and once again she took great care of our working cocker spaniel! He is normally quite anxious with unfamiliar surroundings but he settled right in and was happy and relaxed when we arrived to pick him up. Highly recommend!”

“Gabriela was incredibly responsive right from my very first message. We left our 10-year-old dachshund with her for a week, and she kept us updated daily with photos and videos where our dog looked completely happy and calm. Our dachshund is normally very attached to me and hesitates to leave the house with others, but Gabriela managed to build trust with her incredibly quickly. She also seamlessly followed her daily routine, bedtime schedule, and vitamin regimen. We are so pleased with the care she provided and will definitely contact her again the next time we go away!”

“Blu had an other great time with Diane. She is always so well taken care of and seems to enjoy herself. I will gladly recommend Diane to other dog owners. She’s kind, loving and caring towards them.”

“My labrador Masha really enjoyed staying with Sally and her family for the day. It was her first time staying with Sally and she fitted me in at quite short notice on Boxing Day. Great communication from Sally, she replied promptly to my messages and sent me photos and updates as to how Masha was doing so I could see she was a happy dog.”

“Millie can be a little nervous in new environments, so we knew this stay might take her a bit of time to settle. It did come with a few challenges, but Ornela handled everything with great care, patience, and understanding. Communication was excellent throughout, and we really appreciated the regular updates and the effort made to keep Millie comfortable and supported. We’re very grateful for the care and attention given — thank you again for looking after her so well. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ornela to anyone — she’s a very caring and understanding person.”

“Dovi did a great job dog sitting our puppy whilst we were on holiday. Regular updates and Saffy returned more mature and calm after the socialisation with Dovi’s dog Hugo. Thank you Dovi!”

“Polite, friendly and very accommodating. Very grateful for Johanna be patient with our fairly anxious Labrador. He looks like he had a great time - highly recommend Johanna as a sitter. Best, Amy and Sam”

“Ineta looked after Ollie overnight on a Saturday at very short notice. She provided lots of updates, videos and photos throughout his stay which included a trip to the beach. Thank you”

“Hetti exceeded my expectations. My whippet was very happy during the 12 day stay. She sent me a lot of pictures and made my dog feel like home. My dog was behaving with her like he does at home. She's the first dogsitter that dared to let him free and built trust so him would listen to her call. Often other ppl are unsure as whippets run very fast but this didn't scare Hetti showing a lot of confidence on looking after my dog not only without hesitation but with a lot of love and care. Thank you Hetti”

“Fiona looked after my little Jack russel for 9 days whilst I was away on holiday. My dog was very well looked after - she was well walked, she kept up with the multitude of medicines and eye drops my dog is prescribed and also sent me regular updates and photos! Would definitely use her again, she was very friendly and very enthusiastic about having Mia around.”

About: After nine wonderful years with our beloved Neapolitan Mastiff, we recently said goodbye to her. We’re not quite ready for another dog of our own, but we really miss having a four-legged friend around and would love to share that care and affection with other dogs. We’re a dog-loving married couple with a 9-year-old daughter, living in a house with a secure fenced garden. My husband works from home full-time and I’m also home around half of the week, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of company, attention and cuddles. We’ve recently been looking after our neighbour’s dog and have really enjoyed it, which inspired us to open our home to other dogs too. We understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and we’ll treat every dog staying with us as part of the family. About: I grew up around dogs and have always loved them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages including hosting them overnight. I also have experience with young puppies who are being toilet trained (though I have not trained them myself), so am used to puppy pads and lots of trips outside! I am flexible and can work from home 2 days per week, which I can work around based off of dog sitting responsibilities. I am also available on weekends if required. When working from home I am able to take breaks to go for walks, play with your dog and make sure they have been to the toilet and are comfy and happy! I don’t own a pet, I have a fenced garden. I live right next to the river and a 10 minute walk away from bushy park so lots of green space for walks. I also live by a street of dog friendly cafes.

“Nicola cared for our two cats over the holidays and was outstanding. Always on time, she handled twice-daily medication perfectly, giving us total peace of mind. She sent photos, detailed updates, played with them, and even brought them gifts. Professional, reliable, and genuinely caring—highly recommended. Thank you Nicola!”

“Michelle is very caring and did an amazing job looking after Daisy! For the first time ever after leaving her, Daisy didn’t «sulk » and it was definitively a proof that she was relaxed and had been well looked after. Everything was spotless too. Michelle also sent daily updates with videos or photos. Super happy! ”

“Georgina is very caring! This is the second time she’s looked after our boys, and she always takes lots of photos and gives a great, detailed update on how they were — what they ate, how they played, and everything in between. We’ll definitely continue working with her. Highly recommended!”

“We were first time users of Rover and were a little apprehensive about how it all works at first. Naomi put us at ease from the first ‘meet and greet’ and she was very approachable and sweet with mavis - I could tell mavis liked her straight away! Naomi was very communicative, punctual, and sent us daily pictures of mavis. I would 10000% recommend her to anyone and I will (try!) and book her every time we need someone to look after mavis. Thank you! 🙏🏻”

“Catherine was absolutely wonderful! She kept my partner and I well informed through every visit. She would send photos and videos of my kittens, as well as a daily pic of the clean litter tray. She always spent the allocated time with them and they loved having her around. When we returned home, everything was in order and the kittens were happy. I’ll definitely be booking again! Thanks so much for everything x”

“Seffie has been fantastic looking after my mischievous kitten - he loves his visits and play time, and she does a great job checking his food and overall wellbeing :)”

“Thank you so much for looking after Henry for us! We’re so pleased that we found you and was so reassuring knowing that Henry was being so well cared for and happy. The pictures, communication and updates were great. It was lovely to see Henry being so affectionate towards you as usually he’s not like this with new people. Thanks again and would definitely recommend”

“Everything went great with Hollie, she was very communicative, managed to befriend our cat Pumpkin almost immediately (which is not a guarantee!) and showed how caring she was throughout, I can only recommend!”

“Lexi was great with our cats She was reliable and kept in touch me re feeding and photos, stopped me worrying while I was away. Cars in great shape when I got home and everything clean and tidy Thanks Lexi, we will be in touch when we go away next time 😊😊😊”

“Andie has been fantastic on my first experience on this site! She kept me fully informed, made recommendations and has been completely contactable during my time away, ensuring that my cat was well looked after! Have already got her booked in again! Thank you so much ”

“Jess was absolutely superb as a house and cat sitter. This was our first experience of using Rover, and after some initial difficulties with the handover (which were not Jess's fault), we are delighted with how it all went. Jess obviously genuinely enjoyed taking care of our cats, sending us lovely messages and pics via WhatsApp, and asking lots of questions to make sure the cats were happy. And she really looked after our home, leaving it in imnaculate shape, and generally going above and beyond with various extra touches. She is obviously a very caring and thoughtful person, and we will certainly ask her to do the same job again, if she is available and wants to!”

“Sarah looked after my cat over a long weekend and did a great job! It was so reassuring coming home to a well looked after pet. She is very reliable and gives great updates. I would highly recommend!”

About: Hi I’m Susie and I love animals. Growing up we had many dogs, cats, chickens and guinea pigs and our last dog was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I currently don’t have a dog so decided to fill a very much needed gap of looking after dogs and getting my doggy fix all at the same time. I mostly only take one dog at a time and your dog becomes a part of our family while you are away and if history goes to show they will be absolutely delighted anytime they return. Snuggles in bed are encouraged (if that’s ok with you) and I really do love looking after peoples pets as if they are my own. I’m someone that is very picky when it comes to leaving my animals with someone and I’m so proud that I’m able to be that person for others, where you go away knowing that your dog is in the best of hands and being adored whilst you are away. I take them out for walks everyday and will take them with me everywhere I can if they are dogs that are comfortable with that. Dogs must like children as I have two ages 12 and 14. I miss the dogs we look after when they go and very much look forward to seeing them again soon x I am a stay at home mum who works a few hours a week as a swim teacher. The dogs that stay here become a part of our family whilst they are here x We treat your dog like it’s our own beloved animal. As we get to know your dog it becomes our loved animal too. We have a fenced garden and also live across the road from a very large green space that also has a river where many people walk their dogs off lead. I’m happy for you and your dog to come and meet me before staying to put you and your dogs mind at rest :)

“Meg and Harry were amazing to meet. I felt reassured leaving Muffin with them, especially as she has only ever had one sitter before, who she was already comfortable with. She seemed to adjust to them easily, which was lovely to see. I’ll definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and trustworthy dog sitters.”

“Andre is a fantastic dog carer. Molly warmed to him immediately. It's clear he has a natural way with dogs, as his own pet is equally relaxed and friendly. Andre is very attentive and provides regular updates and pictures throughout the day. Molly was clearly happy to see him again on his next visit, which gave me great confidence in his care.”

“Dominika took such great care of my dog, Salsa, while she was at daycare. She was incredibly attentive, made sure Salsa was comfortable and happy, and even helped administer her medication with no issues at all. She also provided regular photo updates, which gave me real peace of mind and was so lovely to receive throughout the day. I would 100% book with Dominika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!”

“Paris is a kind and lovely girl who made us both feel so welcome. It’s clear she loves pets as if they were her own. Cooper was thoroughly spoilt and we will definitely be booking again with Paris. Thank you again for looking after my boy so well. It means such a lot knowing he’s in safe hands.”

“Evie took care of our little corgi puppy Eevee for the day and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We received numerous updates throughout the day which reassured us that she is well and taken care of. Froggy was also very sweet and protective of our puppy. We really feel like she was in good hands and paws. Highly recommend Evie!”

Now, our dog-friendly home full of love and space is ready to welcome your dog. We have a secure garden and plenty of lovely local walks right on our doorstep. We love going for walks and are home throughout the day. Understanding how important routine is for dogs, we’re happy to adapt ours to suit each individual dog we welcome into our home. We have a fenced safe garden and a house big enough to roam around. We had a driveway. We have previously fostered and adopted by Battersea Dogs Home and passed their vetting process.
“Poppy instantly fell in love with Nat, and I couldn't have been happier leaving them together. Communication was excellent and I would happily leave Poppy with Nat again and recommend her to others!”

About: I have trained both my parent's dog as well as my own dog (cockapoo '21). Think: puppy and behaviour training in village halls and outdoor fields. I have done house sitting for several families in Surrey and enjoy looking after pets and the house. I'm super neat and could also agree on some other jobs, like watering plants etc. I'm an online language teacher and can work from everywhere, as long as I have wifi! As long as I get enough notice, I can easily plan longer house & pet sits as well. Usually families request me for school holidays and bank holiday weekends at least half a year in advance, so the earlier you ask, the bigger the chance that I'm free. I like clear written instructions with regard to food, exercise, care and timings. If you wanted to book me for a weekend or an extended stay and prefer a video call or quick meet beforehand, I could definitely get that organised as well. I'm new on Rover, but have done house and pet sitting before. This was more informal and through word of mouth.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 10 years old, mainly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I’ve previously used Rover through a shared household profile and have experience looking after a range of different dogs. I really enjoy walking, playing with and caring for them, and I’m reliable, patient and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I’ll always make sure your dog feels happy, safe and well looked after. I work flexibly, which means I have plenty of time during the week for dog walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting. My schedule can vary, but I’m generally able to be flexible with timings and can often accommodate daytime, evening and weekend bookings. I always follow each owner’s routine and instructions closely, whether I’m caring for a dog in their home or taking them out for walks. I make sure dogs are kept safe, comfortable and given plenty of attention, and I’m very mindful of things like feeding routines, leads, doors, medication instructions and any individual needs.
About: Hello, I'm Ryan! 👋 I've been a devoted dog dad for over 8 years to my two adopted pups, Bella and Indi. Sadly, Indi passed away last year after a brave fight with cancer, but the love and care I gave (and still give to Bella) has only deepened my passion for looking after animals. I know first-hand how much our pets mean to us - they’re not just animals, they’re family. I’ve gained experience with everything from giving medications to building trust with shy or anxious pups. Having used Rover for many years to book dog sitters for Indi and Bella, I also know how important it is to know that your loved ones are safe and happy while at doggy day care. I work from home full-time as a software engineer, which means your pet will never be left alone or ignored. I have a spacious, secure garden full of toys for playtime, and with Hatherop Park just a few steps away, your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air. Whether your pet loves quiet cuddles, interactive games, or outdoor adventures, I’m happy to tailor their care to make them feel right at home. I work from home full-time Monday to Thursday inclusive. I take my dog Bella on a walk every morning and can also fit in another walk in the afternoon if your dog needs one. I have a large garden and can play your dog in the garden throughout the day. I'm happy to discuss any particular requirements you have. I have a large, secure, fenced garden that’s always accessible to your dog, giving them plenty of safe space to explore and play. Inside, there’s a variety of comfy dog beds and a huge selection of toys to keep them entertained and relaxed. My own dog, Indi, was a small Jackawawa, so I added dog steps to help her get up onto the bed and sofa safely. Those are still in place, so if your dog has little legs or needs a bit of help, they’ll still be able to enjoy their independence around my house. I make sure pets in my care feel safe, loved, and at home - whether they’re curling up on the sofa or zooming around the garden!

“Marc was very calm with our Dog, and he was immediately very relaxed in Marcs presence, and even requested a belly rub. Marc is a great dog walker who really seems to understand dogs, and we will definately book him again.”

About: I've had cats as pets since childhood and love keeping them happy and entertained. I have strong experience in taking care of cats and various breeds of dog for friends and family, and enjoy the process of getting to know pets and their unique needs. I also like to paint cat and dog portraits in acrylics, so would be happy to provide a portrait as an additional bonus! I currently work from home so have a lot of flexibility in terms of pet care and visits. I'm happy to arrange scheduled visits or longer overnight visits. I ensure that each pet's individual needs are met, and keep tabs on their eating, playing and toilet habits. I enjoy playing with pets.
“Jonathan was absolutely fabulous. Easy to communicate with and kept us fully up to date on his walking with Lyra. He put up with her stubbornness of not wanting to walk initially and got her into the swings of things. Would definitely recommend and will be using Jonathan again.”

“Sally made herself available at very short notice to walk and feed my pooch Archie for which I am deeply grateful. I know Archie is in safe hands with Sally and that I’ll return to a well exercised, fed and watered four legged friend!”

“Ella arrived punctually on both occasions and y little dog seemed very content on his return. He has had hip problems and she took care of him and noticed when he was tired. I would happily use her again.”

“Lexi has been super professional and reliable. She is always on time and accommodating when we’ve needed changes. Our Bruno loves her and enjoys his walks with her. She has learned quickly what Bruno needs for mental stimulation and he’s always ready for a nap after his walks. Lexi has been great at communicating with us and keeps us updated.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have always loved being around animals. I also have flexibility in my week to fit in walks and pet visits around my schedule. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe and settled, whether they’re in my home or their own. “Jess has been fantastic - offering to meet Otto beforehand, arriving on time and making us feel so at ease. Otto had the best walk and could tell he was instantly comfortable with Jess, such a positive experience and will definitely be rebooking - thank you so much”

About: A lifetime of caring for pets big and small, from hamsters to feathered friends and fish to fur babies. As fellow fur-baby parents who travel often, we know the stress of leaving them behind. That's why I treat every pet like my own, safe, loved, and happy while you're away. Having fur babies of my own has taught me how important consistency and attention are, so I approach every animal with the same care I give at home, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away ensuring bowls are full, paws are clean and tails are wagging if that means going for a walk or a cuddle. I have experience walking and caring for dogs of various sizes from frenchies and cockerpoos to cocker spaniels and chihuahuas to labradors. I offer dog walking services and drop in visits. Having two fur babies of my own has taught me how important consistency and attention are, so I approach every animal with the same care I give at home, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while their owners are away ensuring bowls are full, paws are clean and tails are wagging if that means going for a walk or a cuddle. Please note that there is a small additional fee for walks more than 5 miles from Staines high street to account for travel costs and additional travel time. I provide attentive care tailored to each pet. I keep you updated, make sure pets are fed and walked as needed, and give cuddles if that's their thing. I follow their usual routines so they feel secure, happy, and loved while you are away or at work. I am dependable and adapt well and quickly to situations that require immediate attention and action.

“Another wonderful stay for Bertie! We feel so happy leaving Bertie for his own holiday when we are away and can’t bring him with us. So well looked after and always lots of other dogs around for him to play with xxx”

“Ross and Darren took excellent care of Cassie during the week we were away and updated us regularly. Couldn’t ask for better, very satisfied and would definitely use again. Thank you!”

“Andre was a fabulous sitter for our two dogs, Bo & Luna. Andre came to meet them first and was keen to find out what games they like, their routines and how he could help them to feel at home. The dogs seemed really happy with Andre. They had some lovely walks and Andre sent us some cute pics. I would definitely recommend.”

“Alfie absolutely loved his time with Rosa, her family and Loki, another gorgeous spaniel who was staying at the same time. So much so that he didn’t want to leave. 5 stars from me and I’m sure Alfie is looking forward to his next visit already. Thank you!”

“Richard was amazing with our crazy doodle. I feel like we’ve hit the jackpot finding Richard and his super set up for doggos in his wonderful house by the lake. Richard has a great knowledge of dogs and was able to read our dog’s behaviour very well. He kept us informed throughout and sent pictures and updates. Thank you Richard!”

“I couldn't recommend David enough. My lad Fender had the best time with David that he sulked for the whole day after i picked him up. David is a great sitter constantly kept me updated with messages and photos. Will definitely use David again and again!”

“Sandra and family were very kind and accommodating, looking after my dog for two nights during sweltering conditions. They took her on very early and late walks so it was a bit cooler - much appreciated! I would definitely go back which is the best recommendation I can give.”

“Richard and his family were fantastic sitters for our Harry. He was well cared for and took many walks and went on many adventures. Richard sent daily updates and pictures and I had no doubt that Harry was happy and comfortable.”

“Yasemin and her lovely family looked after Gus for a long weekend. She gave us daily updates on what Gus had been up to with pictures of him. He definitely enjoyed himself with them! Highly recommend!”

“Julia was truly amazing! This was our very first time leaving our pup with someone else, and she made the entire experience incredibly comforting (for both us and our dog!). From the start, she was attentive, responsive, and really took the time to listen to our needs and requests we had. She kept us updated with tons of messages and adorable photos, which made us feel totally at ease. Our pup settled in with her so naturally—it was clear he was happy and well cared for every step of the way. We are beyond grateful and would highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and loving caregiver for their dog!”

“Trish was such a fantastic dog sitter. Our dog Patsy is often reluctant to go with strangers but she immediately warmed to Trish. She was so patient with her and she loved her stay. Trish sent constant updates and was flexible around our needs. We will definitely use her again when we next go on holiday and I highly recommend her as we immediately felt reassured that our dog was in good hands. Thank you!”

“Absolutely fantastic experience! My dog, Gino was clearly happy, relaxed, and well cared for. Tamyres was kind, professional, and truly went the extra mile. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Highly recommended!"”

“We can really recommend Natalie to take care of your dog in her home. She updated us very often and informed how Zena was handling the very hot weather in the UK. I really like that Natalie is very relaxed and seems to understand dogs behaviour very well. Zena could sleep wherever she wanted and walked up for a cuddle with Natalie when I was picking her up which is a very good sign👍”
