“Lucie provided a fantastic service as always!! We recieve daily updates and photos which we love and always kept up to date with details of visits, lucie is very professional and we always come home to a very happy and well looked after kitty 😺. Would highly recommend her service and we will continue to use Lucie as long as she is available 😊.”

“What can I say… Carina was absolutely amazing! My boys adored her, and she sent reassuring updates so I was able to enjoy Christmas away. I came back to two very happy and relaxed chaps - thank you so much, I couldn’t recommend her more! 🌟”

“Second time booking Lis this year. Our two cats were delighted to see her again and posed nicely for the photo updates she kindly sent after each visit. Would thoroughly recommend. ”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years. Growing up in Morocco, my family often took in stray dogs, and I helped care for them by feeding, walking, and looking after them. I feel as though this experience has helped me develop a deeper understanding of dogs with different personalities and needs. Around the age of 15, I raised my own Belgian Malinois from 40 days old until he was 2 years old. Raising such an active and energetic breed had a positive impact on my daily life. It taught me patience and responsibility while encouraging me to stay active myself. I’ve also owned several cats over the years and have looked after my neighbour’s cat while they were away on holiday. I’ll always do my best to ensure that your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while they’re with me. As a student on summer break, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so taking dogs on walks, or dropping in to take care of them fits naturally into my daily routine. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible. Before each visit, I like to learn about their usual feeding schedule, walking routine, favourite activities, or any behavioural quirks. If a dog is crate trained, I’m happy to follow the owner’s routine and use the crate when needed.
“Very happy with Justine - she followed our instructions, and knew herself what was good or not so good for our dog. Gave us photos, and checked in and out on time. Took a chance to get to know Luca before the walk, so she wouldn’t be a stranger. Would definitely use her again.”

“Amirah did a fantastic job of caring for my cat Tabitha. She followed all my requests well and made sure my cat was well cared for. She sent pictures & videos so I was reassured Tabitha was ok. This was my first time leaving Tabitha alone and I was quite worried, but Amirah did a great job of reassuring me everything was fine. I would not hesitate in recommending Amirah, and I will happily be booking her again when I go away next time if she’s available.”

“Another really EXCELLENT visit by Carla today. Despite the rain Carla fed and took my dogs out. She also towelled them dry and cleaned the mud spattered across my hallway walls, staying extra time to do that. Really good and caring sitter, already booked for next week!”

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. From puppies to older aged dogs, specially trained gun dogs, from Labradors, Highland terriers to Jack Russell. Right now, I am fully focused on dog walking as a full time career, and will devote all my time to this for the foreseeable future. Well, if it is a dog, it will be 2 to 3 meals a day, and at least 3 walks, depending on the age and the fitness of the dog.
“Susanna did an amazing job taking care of my two cats while I was away. She did drop in visits, followed my instructions perfectly and treated my cats wonderfully. She sent me lots of photos and updates to make sure they were okay. My cats warmed up to her immediately, which is tough to do with one of them being very timid. I would recommend Susanna to anyone needing pet care!”

“Lucy was amazing from start to finish. Her initial communication was quick and efficient, the first meet up was lovely and gave us lots of confidence. Both our boys really liked her which was evident when she popped over to return keys and Pico went straight up to her for strokes. Consistent communication and photo updates whilst we were away which both entertained and reassured us. Couldn’t recommend Lucy enough”

“Kyra kindly completed this two week booking at short notice after another sitter pulled out. She was very reliable, sent us messages whilst we were away. Our cat was happy and had been well cared for when we came home. Highly recommend, excellent.”
“Chantelle is a fantastic pet sitter. It was our first time using Rover but she put us at ease by being friendly, reliable, communicative, kind and being a genuine and true cat lover. We will be using Chantelle again and highly recommend her!”

“Caroline came to look after my large, lively 11 month black lab. As it was so hot he couldn’t be walked so she provided some excellent enrichment activities for Otto and provided clear feedback. I would thoroughly recommend Caroline as she dealt with his exuberant behaviour calmly and effectively. I am definitely using Caroline again.”

⭐ 5 Stars — Kamila was perfect! ⭐ Kamila came on short notice and still went above and beyond 💕 She cleaned the bowls, refreshed their water & food and gave cuddles to my wonderful Missy 🐾 She sent the cutest photos and videos that totally made my day and even watered my plants 🪴 She’s a gentle diamond 💎 super reliable and my first choice every single time 💯

Serena is just lovely and our animals (2 cats and a dog) adore her. She sends sweet photos when she is with them and is very reliable. We just enjoyed a lovely night out with no worries because we knew Serena was having play/cuddle time with our little guys while we were otherwise occupied.

Dasha was absolutely wonderful with Penny and Ziggy while we were away on holiday. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made everything so much easier for us, and her communication throughout was excellent. Most importantly, Penny and Ziggy absolutely loved her and were clearly very happy and comfortable in her care. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were being so well looked after while we were away. We’d happily have Dasha look after them again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring and genuinely great with dogs. Thank you, Dasha!

Monique was great, she came to sort the cats out twice a day for 10 days. Cats really seemed to gel with her and were content, unbothered when I got home so always a good sign things went really well. I will definitely get Monique to do the next cat sit when I am away!

Clare was brilliant! She was careful to follow all instructions around feeding and caring for my cat and she spent time playing and hanging out with with her every day. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands. Clare communicated regularly and sent me lots of pictures which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend her.

Caroline came to look after my large, lively 11 month black lab. As it was so hot he couldn’t be walked so she provided some excellent enrichment activities for Otto and provided clear feedback. I would thoroughly recommend Caroline as she dealt with his exuberant behaviour calmly and effectively. I am definitely using Caroline again.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hounslow choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
