“Steve has looked after Maverick a few times now and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He’s reliable, easy to deal with, and clearly good with dogs. Maverick’s always happy and well looked after when he’s with him, which says everything really. Trustworthy and consistent, exactly what you want.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for about two years, but my love for them started long before that with my own border collie–greyhound mix. Since then, I’ve looked after everything from energetic pups to gentle seniors, as well as my own two dogs — an Italian greyhound and a dachshund. I’ll make sure every pup gets plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles, and even some silly “baby voice” chats — treating them like family, because that’s exactly what they are to me. I have a completely open schedules right now, which means I have plenty of time to give your pup lots of walks, playtime, and of course, cuddles. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy plenty of fresh air and playtime in a spacious podium garden. While it’s a shared space with other residents, there are several secure locks and gates to keep things safe and calm. I always take the dogs out when it’s just us, so they can explore and relax without any stress or distractions.
“Gregory is polite and clearly loves dogs. He was enthusiastic and Ralphie seemed very content with him. He was responsible and showed up in time and dropped Ralphie back on time and safely. Would book again!”

When looking after another dog I believe it's important to make sure they feel comfortable and to be patient with them before looking after any dog I'd like to meet them first with Iggy and let them play in an open space or in my flat to ensure they both feel comfortable together. It's important to let me know if you're dog is reactive. Please reach out to me for any other questions! I currently work from home and only go into the office once or twice a week. “From the first moment I met Akshay, I knew that he would be perfect to take care of our big boy Fergie. His knowledge and calm manner helped our boy to feel at ease. With plenty of videos and pictures of his walk we were kept updated and felt reassured. We would highly recommend Akshay as the perfect walker and will be using him on a regular basis. We think we have found the perfect person to look after Fergie.”

About: Currently, I’m a university student studying film. In the past few years, I’ve worked at an animal hospital, where I took care of stray wildlife, including foxes and birds. I’ve been looking after pets since I was 10 and I have experience with animals such as horses, dogs, cats and hedgehogs. I’m currently working as a stable hand, grooming, cleaning tack, feeding and taking horses out into the field are part of my job description. I have experience in grooming, administering medication, flea treatment and I often read books on animal behaviour and anatomy just for fun, as I find it interesting and important to be able to know what our furry friends are communicating as well as knowing the different parts of their fascinating bodies. I’m currently a student and working part time once a week, so I’m available on the weekends and weekdays (evenings) to walk your furry friends! I have a friendly kitten who is very playful. I also have an extra room for any animals that prefer to be alone or for medical reasons.
About: I’m the proud owner of a beautiful Italian Greyhound named Raphael and have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, needs, dispositions and ages. My passion for dogs has spanned decades: as a teenager, I volunteered for the RSPCA and The Cinnamon Trust and as an adult have volunteered at Animal Rescue Kerala and Karma Animal Trust in India and Pound Dogs for Adoption in Cyprus. I’m a teacher who works remotely and in my spare time, I would be more than happy to help out with feeding, walking and/or sitting. As a remote teacher, I have plenty of time to make new four-legged friends! I enjoy keeping busy and getting out and about with my own dog, so this lifestyle suits me perfectly. I live in a first-floor flat with my doggo and we go for at least two long walks a day. There are green spaces at the front and back for toilet breaks.
“Suzanne takes care of my boy bear regularly, he stays with her whilst I’m away on holiday or sometimes just for a day. He gets so excited when he sees her, her home has become his 2nd home and I can see he’s really happy when he stays with Suzanne. He’s very well cared for and gets lots of love and attention off of Suzanne, there’s no one else I’d rather leave my dog with!”

About: From a young age, I’ve had a deep love for animals. Growing up as an only child, I always dreamed of having a companion, and when my parents finally brought home a beautiful Cocker Spaniel, he became my best friend. Caring for him taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy pets bring into our lives. Although he has since passed, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Today, I regularly care for an adorable Yorkshire Terrier, as well as a Siamese mix and a Tabby cat. I have also provided pet sitting through platforms like Pawshake, giving me valuable experience with pets of different ages, personalities, and needs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply keeping your furry friend company, I will ensure they feel happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. We live as our friend made family of 4. Me, Ellie, Gabriel and Joshi. Joshi works in construction so therefore is rarely home but Ellie and Gabriel as both unemployed and will look after your pet with me. I have uploaded photos of them too so you can familiarise yourself! I work full time, though 2-3 days at home a week. I can walk morning, lunch and dinner HOWEVER There are total 4 of us in the house, with different time schedules where someone is always at home!! I have a fenced garden with no holes (please note the fence is shorter than an average fence, but not so much that your pet could jump over). We live next to many parks, and if your pet is good in the car we can explore the huge Richmond Park that is a 10 minute drive from us. We will provide consistent love and a playful energy.
“Catherine did a great job with our dogs! She was very communicative and let me know when she way on her way and always sent pictures after their walks. She was even thoughtful enough to ask about towels to dry them off on a rainy day. I've already booked her again ☺️”

All cats were always by my side, teaching me the importance of companionship and responsibility. As I got older, I expanded my pet family to include another cat called Grimsby. Grimsby brought a different dynamic to our hone, playful yet independent. I learned to appreciate their unique personalities and the way they expressed affection on their own terms. Each pet has contributed to my understanding of empathy and care. I’ve been through challenges, too, like dealing with health issues or the emotional difficulty of saying goodbye when the time came. Those experiences, while hard, deepened my appreciation for the time spent together. Overall, my pet experiences have shaped who I am, instilling values of love, patience, and resilience. Whether it’s the wagging tail of a dog greeting me at the door or the gentle purring of a cat curled up on my lap, the moments shared with my pets have created lasting memories that I cherish. I met with Steve a few weeks ago and decided to use him for dog walking whilst I was away with work. Not only has this proven to be really convenient, Steve has been incredibly good with his communication, very punctual, flexible and attentive. Bailey has loved going out walking with him. It’s been hugely reassuring to see photographs taken from the walks and to be able to get a rough idea of where they’ve been by looking at the map on the Rover application. Based on my experience, I literally couldn’t fault Steve. He’s been brilliant.

Yasmin was great with Monty! We’re new to the area so Monty has been a bit nervous around new people and new surroundings but he came back wagging his tail and full of zoomies after his walk with Yasmin. She kept me updated through the walk and took her time asking questions to understand Monty and make sure he was a happy boy! I’ll definitely be booking with her again.

Ilne is a very nice woman and dog person. She came on time, was very nice to speak to and Archie got along with her very well form the start. She took Archie on an excellent walk in the park and he came back very happy. We recommend Ilne as a dog carer and also excellent dog walker.

We met Charlie and Siobhan for a familiarisation walk with Lottie and they were great. They were relaxed and confident with her and she took to them both straight away. We liked them a lot and would feel totally comfortable having them stay in our home to look after Lottie. We’ll definitely book Charlie & Siobhan when we next go on holiday.
