A genuine love for dogs, walking and nature!
Hello! I have dog walked and sat for the last 3 years, looking after many and a wide range of dog breeds and ages! I very much enjoy spending time with dogs, whether it's relaxing at home or going for fun ans interesting walks. I'm always vigilant and my focus is very much on the dog during walks. It's great to form a bond and so far every dog seems to have liked me!

Nick was brilliant. He understood the needs of my elderly dog and sent regular updates. I used to take the dog everywhere but now he needs quieter routines, so it's very important for me to know that I have a good heart nearby looking after my dog when I need to be away.
Nick did a great job walking our dog Otis. He was available at short notice, quick to respond to my messages, arrived on time and sent a nice photo and update. All in all a seamless experience, especially as we weren’t at home so Nick had to let himself in. I would happily trust Nick with Otis again.
I recently had the pleasure of hiring Nick to look after my German Shepherd for ten days and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment we started working together, his professionalism and genuine love for dogs were evident. Punctuality - Nick was always on time, which I greatly appreciated. Knowing my dog was in good hands at the scheduled times gave me peace of mind. Long Walks - He took my German Shepherd on long, stimulating walks that catered to her energy levels. It was clear he understood the importance of exercise and mental stimulation for a large breed like mine. Safety in the Heat - With the summer heat, I was particularly concerned about my dog's safety. Nick was very mindful of the weather conditions, ensuring that walks were scheduled during cooler parts of the day and providing plenty of water breaks. Check-ins with Photos and Videos - I loved receiving regular updates with photos and videos. It was reassuring to see my dog happy and engaged during their outings and at Nick’s home too. I could see she was being well looked after. This transparency made me feel connected and confident in his care. Knowledge and Handling - His expertise in handling dogs was clear. Nick demonstrated great knowledge about dog behavior and effectively managed my dog’s strong anxiety with a calm and confident demeanor. It was evident he knew how to create a positive experience for her. On top of everything, Nick had a fantastic personality. Friendly, approachable, and relaxed, he made my dog feel comfortable right away. His professional yet easygoing approach was a perfect match for my dog’s temperament. Overall, my experience with Nick was exceptional. He exceeded my expectations, and I felt completely at ease knowing my German Shepherd was in such capable hands. Nick was great - he helped me out with daycare for my dog Hettie at short notice. Great communications and updates through the day and I came home to a relaxed and happy dog so I feel confident that she had a great stay

Schedule
I'm a full time dog walker and while very busy I still have time and would love to meet new dogs for fun walks and I'm available a lot of the time for dog sits in the evening and overnight stays every day of the week!

Safety, trust & environment
I always make sure dogs under my care are safe by being vigilant and showing common sense, eg keeping on short lead in busy areas/crossing roads, keeping away from deer/grass seeds/food on the ground etc. I follow the exact instructions from owners and will do as much as I can do what the dog wants so that they are happy, within reason!
A typical day
During walks I like to let the dog be happy and try to let them do their thing as much as possible (mainly sniffing things)! I like to take them through parks, along the river and especially the woods. I carry treats and will play the hide the treat game which is stimulating and tasty for them! Also like to play chase with a ball and go swimming in a safe area if allowed!
