“I highly recommend Roshni and can’t thank her enough for her brilliant service and keeping me up to date regarding my cat she kindly looked after. Thanks so much Roshni!!!”
“Another really EXCELLENT visit by Carla today. Despite the rain Carla fed and took my dogs out. She also towelled them dry and cleaned the mud spattered across my hallway walls, staying extra time to do that. Really good and caring sitter, already booked for next week!”

“Very happy with Justine - she followed our instructions, and knew herself what was good or not so good for our dog. Gave us photos, and checked in and out on time. Took a chance to get to know Luca before the walk, so she wouldn’t be a stranger. Would definitely use her again.”

“Monique was great, she came to sort the cats out twice a day for 10 days. Cats really seemed to gel with her and were content, unbothered when I got home so always a good sign things went really well. I will definitely get Monique to do the next cat sit when I am away!”

“Akshay is deeply committed to providing the best care for your pets. He was easy to communicate with, and followed all the instructions we left for our two cats, providing updates on his visits. We have one very shy cat who was rubbing against Akshay and very comfortable in his prescence which shows he has a great approach and understand cats and how to look after them. I would reccomend Akshay as a great pet sitter / carer.”

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life. I have many years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, as well as helping stray and vulnerable animals. Over the years, I have volunteered extensively with animals in need, helping with feeding, veterinary care, neutering and finding safe homes. I have also been involved in rescuing and rehoming more than 25 dogs in the UK. I qualified as a Veterinary Technician as part of my second university education because I wanted to deepen my understanding of animal health, behaviour and care. I currently have three rescue cats of my own and have extensive experience with cats of different personalities and needs. I also have experience with dogs and previously worked as a dog walker. I understand that every pet is different, and I always take the time to learn their individual personality, routine and boundaries. Whether I am caring for a shy cat or taking an energetic dog for a walk, I aim to make every pet feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate pet care throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons and evenings. I currently offer drop-in visits for cats and dogs, as well as dog walking. I prefer to keep my service area local so I can be reliable, punctual and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always follow their usual routine and their owner's instructions carefully. I take the time to understand each pet's personality, behaviour and individual needs, without forcing interaction if they are nervous or shy. With my Veterinary Technician background, I am attentive to changes in behaviour and general wellbeing. I take safety seriously, including secure doors and windows, feeding instructions and any specific care requirements. I will also keep owners updated so they can feel reassured while they are away.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals and have been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by them. I owned a dog while growing up, I currently care for three cats, and I also have experience looking after small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. This has given me a strong understanding of different needs, behaviours, and personalities. What sets me apart as a sitter is my genuine patience and dedication. I treat every pet as if they were my own — making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. Whether it’s energetic walks, gentle care for older pets, or simply providing company and cuddles, I tailor my approach to each animal. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care, so I make communication a priority and will always keep you updated. My goal is simple: happy pets, and peace of mind for you. I’m available most of the time for house sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. My flexible routine means I can give your pets the care and attention they need, whether it’s for a night or just a daily check-in. I provide a safe and loving environment where pets feel at home. My space is pet-friendly and secure, and I always stick closely to each owner’s instructions. I’m reliable, caring, and make sure every pet feels happy and comfortable.
“Serena is such a fab catsitter! Our shy and nervous cat seemed to immidiately like her, and Serena made efforts to gently and gradually earn her trust and make her feel comfortable. She sent regular reassuring and kind updates, and we came back to a happy, well-looked after kitty 😊 we're thankful for her help and super highly recommend!! ”

About: I provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment where your dog will be genuinely cared for, comforted, and treated like family. I have a natural love for animals and understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can fully trust. Personally, I have extensive experience as a dog owner. I previously had a German Shepherd & Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who lived to 17, and I currently have a five-year-old toy poodle. Professionally, I have worked at Urban Mutts Hotels, where I cared for a wide variety of dogs in both daycare and boarding settings. My experience goes beyond breeds and sizes — I am confident managing different temperaments, energy levels, dietary requirements, and allergies, always prioritising each dog’s comfort and wellbeing. “What can I say… Carina was absolutely amazing! My boys adored her, and she sent reassuring updates so I was able to enjoy Christmas away. I came back to two very happy and relaxed chaps - thank you so much, I couldn’t recommend her more! 🌟”

“We hadn’t left our cats since before lockdown so were a bit worried. However Lis was great! She came to meet them beforehand and fed them twice a day at the times they were used to. She also communicated brilliantly, sending photos and messages after every visit. I would definitely recommend Lis and will ask her back if we go away again. Thanks!”

About: I have loved and looked after dogs of all sizes since I was 14 and have a special connection with the furry family members and those that I get to meet and spend time with. Caring for animals is a true passion of mine and that shows in the service I provide 💗 I am working full time and I am free most weekends and evenings. I have my own car and some nice dog friendly parks close by. I work from home so am able to house sit any day of the week as well. I do not currently offer boarding or pet sitting services from my own home due to not having enough space. I do however offer overnight stays so if you ever need someone to house/ petsit while you go away then I am happy to do so.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Hounslow
We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat received while we were away for 10 days. Laura was kind, reliable, and clearly genuinely cared about him. She made sure he was well looked after and, importantly, spent plenty of time playing with him and keeping him entertained. It was such a relief knowing he was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention while we were away. We came home to a very content cat! We would highly recommend Laura and would definitely book her again. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our little one!

⭐ 5 Stars — Kamila was perfect! ⭐ Kamila came on short notice and still went above and beyond 💕 She cleaned the bowls, refreshed their water & food and gave cuddles to my wonderful Missy 🐾 She sent the cutest photos and videos that totally made my day and even watered my plants 🪴 She’s a gentle diamond 💎 super reliable and my first choice every single time 💯

Monique was great, she came to sort the cats out twice a day for 10 days. Cats really seemed to gel with her and were content, unbothered when I got home so always a good sign things went really well. I will definitely get Monique to do the next cat sit when I am away!

Clare was brilliant! She was careful to follow all instructions around feeding and caring for my cat and she spent time playing and hanging out with with her every day. It was a relief to know she was in such good hands. Clare communicated regularly and sent me lots of pictures which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
