“We had a fantastic experience with Konstantine and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. She was incredibly easy to deal with from the very beginning and was especially accommodating when we needed to arrange everything at short notice. Konstantine kindly fitted in an initial visit despite our last-minute arrangements, and even came late at night to collect the keys, which we really appreciated. She was flexible, helpful and made the whole process completely stress-free. Most importantly, she looked after our cat brilliantly, making sure she was fed at the correct times. Knowing everything was being taken care of gave us real peace of mind while we were away. A well-deserved 5 stars — we would definitely use Konstantine again!”

“Rebecca came to look after our cat whilst on holiday, she done a fantastic job and followed all the instructions we left for her and kept me updated during the week. I would definitely recommend and use Rebecca in future to look after our cat. Lovely lady too.”

About: Hey! I’m a huge dog lover and proud cat mum to Sofia. I’m based in Slough and happy to travel locally for house visits on evenings during the week and anytime on weekends. If your dog/cat needs some company, cuddles, feeding or a lil extra attention while you’re away, I’m more than happy to help. Pls drop me a message with any Q’s 🤍 I work full time on weekdays but I’m available from 5:30 - 10pm in the evenings for drop in’s and weekends I have more flexibility for drop in’s. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. I’d treat every pet the same way I do with my Sofia, with plenty of care and attention, as well as any other additional needs they might have. I’ll take the time to understand their individual routine and personality, making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and play their pets and give them the comfort and attention they need. I’m currently a full time student at Kingston School of Art. Whilst it’s full time, I still have 4 days off a week including weekends to take care of your pet and am free in the evenings nearly everyday. I have easy access to public transport so will be flexible on where house sitting for a pet is needed. I will give them the comfort and attention they need when house sitting.

“Tao has been incredibly reliable and caring. She kept us updated with lots of photos and videos of Kushary while we were away, which gave us great peace of mind. Kushary clearly adores her, and we’re so happy we found her. We will definitely be reaching out to Tao again in the future! 😊”

About: I may not have done pet sitting and dog walking professionally before, but I’ve always been a true dog lover at heart. Dogs have been part of my life for years, and I understand how much they mean to their families. Back home I have a lovely and friendly 11y old Pitbull (Hércules) who has taught me so much about care, patience and unconditional love. I’m also a proud dad to my 5y old son, Henry, who is absolutely crazy about dogs and has grown up around them with kindness and respect. Your pet will be treated with the same love, attention and care as my own, whether it’s for a walk, a cuddle, or company while you’re away Pet care fits really well into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work as a General Manager in hospitality, which means I’m organised, reliable and used to responsibility. My rota gives me structured time off during the week and some mornings/afternoons available, which I’m looking to dedicate to dog walking and pet sitting. I’m exploring pet care not just as a side hustle, but as something I genuinely enjoy and would love to potentially grow into long term. Working with animals feels natural to me, and I’m excited about the possibility of gradually building experience in this field. I see this as the start of something meaningful, while still bringing the professionalism, commitment and work ethic I’ve developed in management. In an owner’s home, I always follow instructions carefully…feeding routines, walk times, medication if needed, and any specific behaviours to be aware of. I make sure doors, gates and leads are secure at all times and provide regular updates for peace of mind. If caring for a pet in my home, the environment is calm, clean and safe. I only take on pets I can give proper attention to, ensuring they feel comfortable and supervised at all times. As a long-time dog owner myself, I understand how important routine, patience and affection are. Your pet will be treated with the same care and respect as my own.
“Daniel is very friendly to us and to the cats. He is reliable, punctual, clean. Happy to help out watering plants. He plays with the cats and sends us pics and updates as frequently as we wish Would highly recommend :)”

In a lovely bungalow with a nice garden to allow your pet some freedom and to be in a safe environment full of cameras to ensure your pet is doing well at all times.

“Hi Elaine looked after my 2 cats very well, i was so pleased either the communication and how well my boys were looked after. I had an easy mind while i was away. I will definitely have Elaine to look after my cats for my next holiday. I highly recommend Elaine.”

About: I am a genuine animal lover with a passion for providing pets with the same love, care, and attention they receive at home. I have also looked after both cats and dogs for friends and family, including feeding, walking, playing, administering lots of cuddles, and keeping them company while their owners are away. I am reliable, caring, and treat every pet as if they were my own, giving owners peace of mind that their beloved companions are in safe and loving hands. I’m currently on leave from work so am very flexible and can give the time and need for your pets. I can also be flexible on weekends ! I have a two bedroom apartment , totally safe and fenced. About: Growing up, I have had experiences with dogs, cats, monkeys, snakes, you name it! I love all animals (but have a soft spot for dogs) and I promise you that your pet will have all my love, time, and care. I need your pet as much as they need me🥰 Back at home, we have a border collie who I love and miss. Anytime I see an animal in need, I am there. I will be too, for you and your pet. ❤️ On my days off or a squeeze in my schedule, I can take your pet on a walk around or simply provide company if that is preferred! I will bring water and bowl if needed, give them my love all throughout! At your own home, I can feed your pet, make sure their water is filled up, let them out, give them attention and play around with them either outside or inside, depending on your preference! I will make sure your keys are safe and secure (previously, I’ve been given a PIN to a key holder, and a spare key kept on me at all times, solely to be used for this purpose!). I have had experience with an anxious (NOT vicious!) dog, so I understand in keeping space yet not too much. When your pet is meeting me for the first time I will allow them to gain my trust slowly- as much as I love to cuddle them I will first read their body language and decide how to maneuver from then onwards, so please do not be offended, I want to make sure everyone is happy and safe. Of course I expect to be informed if your pet is not so friendly overall, so I know where I stand with them!

About: I have no children but I do have a kitten. I helped bring up my sister’s puppy-turned-dog during Covid, I regularly look after my sister’s dog for days and hours. I take her for walks, feed her, play with her and drop her off. I also sometimes look after my best friend’s cat when she is at work or on holiday. I am flexible with weekends, and week days I work hybrid so I am home most of the week - aside from Tuesday and Thursday, which are my office days. ☺️ I keep door closed and always use lead when outside. The area is usually gated outside, and I have space for a crate if needed. I have a few green areas next to me. I live basically in town, with non-main road access in too for particularly vulnerable puppies.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Slough
Tracey was a fantastic sitter for our cat. We were let down by a family member and Tracey was super flexible at accommodating the request at short notice and very reassuring that she’d make the request work. During the drop in visits she followed all instructions exactly and made sure to play with Lyra and give her lots of love (and treats!). She sent full updates and pictures so I knew Lyra was happy and well looked after. Definitely recommend 🙂

We had a fantastic experience with Konstantine and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. A well-deserved 5 stars — we would definitely use Konstantine again!

We couldn’t be happier with Dawn. Finding someone you trust with your pet can be stressful, but she put us completely at ease from day one. She was reliable, communicative, and attentive to every detail. Most importantly. We came home to a very happy, relaxed cat. We will definitely be booking Dawn again.

I think I have difficult cats, as one hides if any new people arrive at the house, and the other one is territorial and hard to get close to, forming a friendship. Danielle was patient and informed me during her visit and sent pictures. We found relaxed cats when we came back. Thank you for this.
Delighted and satisfied to have Jodie to look after our Balinese cat who is quite reserved. She also required medication and we were happy and reassured she was given this. Messages and photos showed us Pearl was happy and adjusted to her new friend. We would certainly recommend Jodie as an excellent carer who is very knowledgeable of a cats personality and needs. Thank you 😊

Kiran was wonderful with my little Mogly. She was professional, amenable and gave me plenty of updates and photos. Mog was very happy when we got back, which is a huge testament to Kiran as he's such a nervous boy! Will definitely book Kiran again and recommend her to anyone :)

Jessica looked after our cat for a week, with drop in visits twice a day. She was very responsive and professional. Lyra can be a little shy of strangers but took to Jessica very quickly on the first meeting. While I was away Jessica sent updates and pictures, and was reassuring to me that Lyra was being her usual cuddly self and eating well! Would definitely ask Jess to cat sit again. Thank you!

Katarina was absolutely wonderful with Mala. She was caring, reliable, and kept us updated, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. It was clear Mala was very well looked after and comfortable in her care. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Katarina again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and trustworthy sitter 💛

We’re so grateful for Mel’s amazing service! She looked after our cat, Mala, at short notice and was incredibly reliable and communicative throughout. We received regular updates and could tell Mala was in great hands, we came home to a very happy girl. Thank you so much, Mel!

Tiphanie was outstanding. She arrived at my house on time and completed all the requested tasks, plus more. Each day, I received informative and heartwarming updates, including photos and videos of Korben. He appeared happy and well-cared for. It was truly wonderful knowing he was safe with someone who genuinely cared. Tiphanie is reliable and trustworthy; I highly recommend her. She's fantastic.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
