Megan and Hannah are amazing, kind and caring people who have a passions for looking after pets. Coco (my cat) warmed to them and was well looked after in their care. They made sure Coco was fed, hydrated, and fussed over during the visits and they also emptied her litter tray. They also sent pictures of Coco which I really appreciated. And a bonus, they looked after Coco over Christmas which was perfect so couldn’t really ask for more. I’d highly recommend their services and will use their services again in the future. Wishing them all the best x

Nancy B. was brilliant with our cats. She sat with them and gave us reports of her visits. I hadn’t used a cat sitter before but she made it so easy with her photos of them. We could see the two cats were really happy to see her. Thank you so much Nancy.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have shared my life with many over the years. Each one taught me something different about care, patience, and the special bond that grows when you spend time with animals. That connection is what motivates me to be a pet sitter and walker. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were your own, and that’s exactly what I offer. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience administering medication, whether it’s tablets, liquid medicine, or topical treatments. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and make sure they feel calm and cared for during the process. I can also help with feeding routines, cleaning litter boxes or cages, and providing lots of playtime and affection. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and walking dogs combines two of my favourite things, fresh air and happy, wagging tails! I’m available for walks and visits after 4:30pm on weekdays and anytime after 11am on Saturdays and Sundays. The latest visit time is 8pm. Thanks I am happy to offer walks, home visits, or overnight stays. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities, and for everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into my care.

About: I have been caring for cats and dogs for over 25 years and have experience looking after pets at every stage of life, from playful puppies and kittens through to elderly animals in their later years. During that time, I have learnt that every animal has their own personality, routine and preferences, and I always take the time to build trust and make them feel safe and comfortable. I am confident administering medication when required and understand the importance of patience, consistency and following an owner’s instructions carefully. I am equally happy caring for indoor or outdoor cats, as well as dogs who need walks, exercise and stimulation, and I appreciate how important it is to maintain their usual routine while their owners are away. As a lifelong animal lover, animal welfare has always been very important to me. I will care for your cats and dogs as if they were my own, ensuring they receive plenty of attention, affection and thoughtful care while you have complete peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule, which means I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the week and at weekends, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your routine. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll work with you to ensure they receive the care they’re used to while you’re away. I know that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pet is a big decision. I’ll always respect your home, follow your instructions carefully and maintain your pet’s usual routine to help them feel relaxed and secure. Whether it’s feeding, fresh water, medication, playtime or simply providing company, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages for complete peace of mind.

About: Having lost my 16 year old dog at the beginning of this year I am keen to help others with their pet needs. I am not emotionally ready to get another dog but loving & looking after others is my specialty. Having been a dog owner & with many of my friend's and family also having pets I am very used to helping them out in short notice. Working from home makes looking after others pets extremely easy and enjoyable. I have a lovely small garden and live directly opposite a park so any dogs that come to stay will have plenty of outside access and exercise. I work from home and with a very relaxed working environment I can easily come and go to do house visits and walkies. I am available at short notice, throughout the day & evenings. I have a small garden and with a park directly over the road any doggies that’ll be boarding will get plenty of outdoor space, exercise & stimulation

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Axelle is the only person I would ever trust with my cat again. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pillow with anyone. Axelle made it easy. He took to her so completely that he started waiting for her on the stairs before her visits. Cats don't do that for people they tolerate. They do it for people they have chosen. He chose her. The trip was horrible. Halfway through, my flight got rescheduled by several days for medical reasons, and Axelle adjusted with grace, kindness, and zero complication — moved visits, communicated clearly, made it feel like she was on my team rather than putting up with an inconvenient client. She kept me updated, sent photos and videos, and genuinely engaged with Pillow as a person rather than a job. What I realised in this trip is that Axelle cares. Properly cares. Not professional warmth — actual investment in the wellbeing of an animal she has been entrusted with. My cat was safe with her in a way that let me handle a brutal week without ever once worrying about him. If you are reading this trying to decide who to book — book Axelle. She is the rare person who treats your pet like family while you are gone, and treats you with the same kindness when life throws something difficult into the middle of the booking. Five stars is not enough. I would give ten.

About: I’m a remote worker, and for the past 3 years this has allowed me to work from my own home or directly from pet owners’ homes while providing attentive, consistent care for their pets. I’ve been walking dogs and house-sitting since I was 15, with over 16 years of trusted, hands-on experience. I’ve looked after animals of all sizes and personalities, from boisterous Pomeranians to large, reactive dogs and even livestock. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I’m experienced with senior pets who require medication, routine and extra patience and I’m confident following specific care instructions to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. I work remotely from Bourne End, allowing me to adapt my schedule around the care of high-energy pets of all shapes and sizes while working. I live in a dog friendly house with a garden and fields nearby for dogs to explore. Additionally, the river Is close for dog walks and is a secure route if there off the lead.

Emma is kind and gentle and a thoughtful person… She’s also a Student, and in these harsh times it’s worth supporting our local people in further Education, to the hilt. You’ll be happy and grateful if she agrees to step in and look after your precious pets. Thanks Emma! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Wycombe on Rover is £14.95 per Visit (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 7,306 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Wycombe. About 90% of Wycombe sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
