About: I’ve grown up around and taken care of all kinds of animals since I was very young. I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds and sizes, as well as cats. I’ve never known a life without taking care of pets. Recently I moved from my family house for my studies so my home feels very soulless without animals wandering around. Missing my own, I would love to take care of your loved ones and care for them as my own. I know how walks, play time and cuddles are important for dogs (and cats) so I am committed to ensuring they feel loved, safe, and stimulated I am in my last year of uni so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your dogs! My availability varies during the week but I am available all day in the weekends! I have a small courtyard. There are two doors to go through to get to the street so no worries if your doggie is a runner. Doors are closed at all time and I would never let out dog unsupervised. safety first!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years via Rover or Family and Friends, all types of dogs. Experience with all types of dogs and needs. A dog being comfortable, excited and fulfilled after my care is very important so I aim to have only 1 or 2 dogs at a time unless they are familiar with each other I am based from home full time. I only show available if i am able to be around 24/7, to care for your 4 legged companion 😁 i am currently taking a course to offer specific Dog training. I have a secure and fenced garden, stair gates if required and plenty of space for the dog to rest and/or sleep. Lots of toys too. I also only accept 1 or 2 dogs at time so I can provide commited care.

“Abbi looked after my timid dog Poppy and took great care of her. She’s a very nervous dog but from the photos I received she clearly warmed up to Abbi and felt really comfortable. Will definitely get in touch with Abbi when I need help again :)”

“Caitlin was absolutely wonderful, and Fig really enjoyed spending time with her. We got frequent updates, always with cute photos too. Caitlin is knowledgeable about cats and we felt very confident leaving our darling cat - and house - in her hands while away. She'll be our first contact every time. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with a Labrador for 13 years so I am used to walking dogs safely, supporting training, making sure they’re fed appropriately, never thirsty and always attended to. I have also got experience living and looking after a rescue Shih Tzu so I am familiar with different sized dogs and their different needs. I am also happy administering medication. I currently work part-time Tuesday-Thursday so looking to pet sit Mondays and Fridays and any required mornings/evenings during my working days. I work 9-5 but I am an early riser and have a flexible schedule. I have a fenced garden and liver very close to a park for your dog to run around in too if they want! There is space for a crate if needed.
“I highly recommend Amy! She is incredibly trustworthy and was fantastic with my dog, Chas. Her genuine care and expertise were evident, and Chas absolutely loved her. If you're looking for someone who will treat your pet like their own, Amy is the perfect choice!”

About: I have a four years old dog, I've got experiences of training and taking care of them, from house training to walking. I enjoy every moment staying with these lovely furry friends. I'm currently working part time, mostly only up to two days per week, hence I have lots of time taking care of their daily routine. Most of the time I will be satying at home for the whole day. I have a fenced garden to make sure there's no possibility of dogs escaping from the garden. The house has carpet with spaces for running around is good for their joints.
“Kamila took such great care of Winnie. I got regular updates and photos of their adventures together. Winnie had a brilliant day and came home a very sleepy and content dog. Thank you so much Kamila!”

“Davinder did such a good job of house and cat sitting for our two cats. Really grateful for the photos and updates for the week that we were away. Can highly recommend!”

“Megan was great, kept me updated throughout. The cats seemed a tad disappointed when I walked through the door, they were obviously impressed. Would definitely book again. Highly recommended.”

“A huge thank you to Hannah and her partner for taking such wonderful care of Raya while we were away. Raya was clearly very well looked after—she was calm, happy, and completely relaxed when we returned, which says it all. Our house was also left in perfect condition. We couldn't have asked for more and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable house sitters. 😀”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life including grey hounds, dalmatians and labradors. I currently have a rescue collie x shepherd and a staff cross who are my world! I have one cat (indoor) who was rescued as a kitten. I regularly help friends with the care of their dogs these include rescues, poodle crosses and springer spaniels. I love animals and am happiest in their company. I love to walk for miles and miles with them or sit and have a cuddle. Although I don’t have any formal qualifications I am interested in animal behaviour and observant when meeting others on dog walks to ensure the dogs are comfortable. I am thorough in following all pet care instructions provided to ensure your animals are safe and happy in my care. Please reach out if you would like to chat! I currently work full time over 4 days and most of my week is spent working from home. I have a son who is starting primary school and so have plenty of time for decent walks during the day! I have a secure back garden with 6 ft fences the entire way round. There is ample space in my home and pets are always welcome on the sofas. To respect my cats space dogs are not allowed upstairs and there is a gate in place to prevent this. When visiting pets in their own homes I follow owners instructions and wishes rigidly. Ensuring the the pet is always settled and happy before I leave

A huge thank you to Hannah and her partner for taking such wonderful care of Raya while we were away. Raya was clearly very well looked after—she was calm, happy, and completely relaxed when we returned, which says it all. Our house was also left in perfect condition. Alison was lovely! I’m so grateful to her for fitting us in around other things -she was very dutiful in her care of our dog who had had some medical issues shortly before we went away. Alison seemed to keep on top of this extra complication and our dog was well and happy! She is very respectful, considerate and thoughtful - I’d feel confident to use Alison as a dog sitter again!

Isabella was brilliant with our 2 dogs aged 4 and 1. One is a young and recently rescued dog who is not used to the outside world and so not the easiest to look after but this didn’t phase Isabella. She was able to entertain them with play, lick mats, snuffle mats and walks / garden time. Both dogs were happy, relaxed and calm for the whole weekend. Bella was also punctual and I liked the fact that she messaged me a few times before so I was confident she had fully absorbed the dog sitting plan. She was happy to follow the detailed instructions I left about their routine and management, feeding, walking etc. She has a calm yet confident demeanour with the dogs and is also a very pleasant person. I would not hesitate to book her again.

Vivienne was absolutely lovely. She was kind and compassionate with my 16 year old Border Terrier Betty who has dementia and can have accidents indoors. I felt totally confident with Vivienne looking after Betty and my home. I definitely recommend Vivienne 100 %

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Wycombe walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wycombe choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 87% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
