“Sophie is calm, caring and considerate and looked after our cocker spaniel over a weekend. She was respectful of our house and Nevis enjoyed her company. We returned home to a very relaxed dog. We are so pleased to have found her and have already booked her for our holiday in September.”

“Zoe was friendly and polite. My Westie Ronnie absolutely loved her! She was very quick to reply to my messages and whist she was with Ronnie she kept me updated and sent photos. I highly recommend Zoe for all your doggy needs. Thank you.”

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my extensive experience and unique skills. I had a rescue dog for 10 years who had challenging needs, including separation anxiety, requiring lots of attention and specialized care. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how to treat and look after dogs, making me confident and comfortable around pets of all temperaments. Additionally, as a doctor, I bring excellent communication skills, responsibility, and reliability to my pet-sitting services. I ensure that pet owners are kept up to date as required, providing peace of mind that their beloved pets are in capable and caring hands. My background equips me with the ability to handle various situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the best care for your pet. Having recently returned from traveling, I'm currently not diving back into full-time work, which means I'm available most days of the week. This flexibility allows me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine. With ample free time, I can dedicate my attention to ensuring your pet receives the best care possible. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I'm here to meet their needs and provide a loving, attentive environment. When caring for pets, my focus is on safety, trust, and creating a nurturing environment, whether at my home or the pet owner's. This involves pet-proofing the space, building trust through positive interactions, maintaining regular routines, and keeping open communication with owners through updates and photos. By prioritizing these aspects, I ensure that pets receive the best possible care and feel comfortable and secure during their stay.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have 12 years of experience caring for our family dog, Max, a Bichon Frise, as well as two cats. I’ve always loved spending time with animals and have really enjoyed the responsibility that comes with looking after them. My partner (Abz) and I are now living in Bucks and we’re keen to gain more experience caring for other people’s dogs before getting one of our own. We’re friendly, reliable and genuinely love being outdoors, so dog walking and sitting feels like the perfect way for us to spend our weekends while giving your dog plenty of care, attention and company! We have recently started looking after our family and friends pets and thought we could make it more official on here! I work as a Doctor so schedule can be variable in the week but weekends from Friday are available for dog walking and boarding. We spend most weekends outdoors walking/hiking so this will fit in easily with our normal schedule. We currently have no pets of our own but in a house with access to public green spaces. Dog can roam all 3 floors of the house and secure balcony.
“Immy was fantastic for my Boy Bandit. He is a bit nervous of people in the house but she won him over. Immy is kind and caring and has real patience. I would use her again in a heartbeat. Icant recommend her enough”

About: Lifelong dog lover but sadly can’t be an owner as travel overseas too often. I am very experienced handling dogs as I used to be a volunteer dog walker for Hearing Dogs for the deaf plus another charity called the Cinnamon Trust. I have also been walking my neighbours black Labrador once a week for the past six years (he is featured in my profile picture). I am a retired gentleman so I am generally available all the time. I can easily travel and am happy to take dogs in my vehicle. I walk for at least an hour every day and know many varied walking routes in the Aylesbury Vale area. I am friendly, approachable and easy to communicate with. Through membership of another website I walk two labradors separately over three separate walks each week. With regards to the two Labradors I occasionally have them for overnight stays at my home. I have been doing this since February 2022 and have built up deep trusted relationships with both dogs. I have been fully retired since 2013 and am generally available for dog walks most days between 10am and 5pm. I do travel both in the UK and overseas for a total of 3 months a year spread throughout the year. I have a large very secure garden and keep no pets of my own at my property which is very private and detached. I live adjacent to open countryside and have a car which I am happy to take dogs in.
“Yamini is so brilliant and so accommodating! Milo absolutely loves spending the day with her and I always feel super reasurred leaving him with her knowing how well he will be looked after”

“Natalie was prompt and sent updates so we knew Annie settled in well for her first visit. Annie loved hanging out with Natalie and was totally relaxed with her. Will definitely book again!”

“Tracey is a fantastic doggie sitter, our two boys have been well cared for and are really happy. Our house is spotless This was our first time using Rover. We will definitely be using Tracey and Rover again. We highly recommend Tracey thank you so much 😊”

About: I’ve always been involved with dogs. Growing up in Ireland we had many dogs on farms and regularly houses. I volunteered at my neighbours dog groomers, walking her clients dogs for 7 years. I currently have outdoor cats and no dog so I’m looking to give my years of experience and love of dogs with my clients pets. As well as walking and sitting and boarding your dogs I can do anything you request of me like work on training, certain games they love, finding ways to bring shy dogs out of their shells. Anything you’d like me to work on I will :) I work primarily remotely 9-5:30 (with those hours changing soon to 8-4:30) Some days I travel to my office but am mostly home based. I also own a car and live in an area with a vast amount of Green walking trails for animals I have a fenced yard to keep your little buddy safe. I have a big home they will love to explore. I have cats but they are outdoor cats who love being outdoors. They see many dogs when out and about and I’m trying to get them used to dogs but will be sure to have them out doors when your fur babies are in my home. My home is warm with under floor heating and I will be sure to provide toys and treats along with full companionship with them while they are with me. I can’t wait to have fun with and get to know your best buddies!
“Rhiannon was excellent! She clearly loves animals and is very confident around dogs of all sizes (including our bouncy golden retriever). Her communication was brilliant and she was extremely helpful in a last minute booking and also coming for a meet and greet. We’ve already booked her again and would highly recommend:)”

“Charlotte came and visited us to meet us and Millie. A lovely young lady, who has had experience of large dogs, so was happy to look after our cockapoo. We received photos of Millie whilst we were away and she was obviously settled with Charlotte looking after her and taking her for walks. Our home was well looked after too and was spotless when we returned. We would definitely recommend Charlotte and would love to use her again, as long as she is available. Many thanks to her from both of us and of course, from Millie xx🐾”

“We were really pleased with how conscientious Josh was when he looked after Raya. He walked her for us in the morning and sent a couple of pictures to update that she was fine as she hasn't been walked by many different people. He was very punctual and had left the house neat and tidy. We would highly recommend and will definitely book with him and Sky again.”

“Simon was pleasant and friendly and was keen to meet Dobby before any arrangements, Simon kept us updated daily with what he was doing and how settled Dobby was in his company.”

“After being let down by another sitter we contacted Emma and she was able to help on very short notice, even fitting in a meet and greet with our dogs. My youngest dog is historically very prickly with strangers in the home but he took to Emma straight away and they all had a peaceful time together with lots of contact and pictures to ease my mind while I was out. Would highly recommend and will be inviting Emma round again!”

About: We have grown up with dogs, and I even have our own cocker spaniel, Winnie, who is 1.5 years old, and she loves other dogs. I work from home Monday/Wednesday/Friday, and my husband works from home on Tuesday and Thursdays so we are pretty available. Happy to have dogs at the weekend too. We love dog walks, so your dog will come with us on our usual morning and evening walk, and we also like to do sniff work/training with Winnie My husband and I alternate days in the office, so someone is usually at home! We walk Winnie usually 40-50 minutes in the morning, and we walk her 20 mins in the evening - depending on what your dog can do, we can be flexible to longer or shorter. We had a good-sized wall garden in a semi-detached house, plenty of room for running around and training. We would treat your dog as we treat our own and can do some training if requested. Both sitting and boarding we would take the most amount of care and give your dog lots of cuddles
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the dog care we received - prompt, efficient, kind and wonderful photos sent of our dogs to reassure us that they were happy! Thank you William!”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Princes Risborough
On the arrival date we had a few issues with the Rover app not actually sending Sophie my messages so she even had to wait around to get the key code for our house. But since then we switched to WhatsApp for updates and Sophie was very regular in giving us updates about all the girls , particularly how they were in the heat. Sent lots of pictures which reassured and was quick to respond which we really appreciated. Even sorted a new lead out after our Jack Russell ate hers! She has been friendly , kind and helpful throughout the sitting and we would be happy to have her again anytime. We came back to a Spotless house which was a lovely treat. Thankyou again Sophie.
Jemma is an experienced and competent pet sitter and we were very impressed with how relaxed and confident she made us feel about leaving Teddy in her care. Jemma came to visit before the sit and spent time getting to know Teddy. We quickly became to realise that she is highly experienced at looking after all different dogs and asked lots of relevant questions about Teddy's personality and needs. Teddy is initially very anxious when left but Jemma wasn't phased by this and reassured us on how she would help Teddy cope when we left. Jemma looked after our home very well and we arrived home to a very happy and relaxed Teddy. Thank you Jemma, we look forward to you house sitting again for us when the need arrives.
