Growing up, my family welcomed a rescue Border Collie into our home, which taught me so much about patience, high-energy breeds, and earning a dog's trust. Later, we raised a German Shepherd from a tiny puppy all the way through to her beautiful senior years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Navigating that full lifecycle gave me invaluable experience with everything from puppy socialisation to gentle, specialised senior care. Today, my home is happily run by my three miniature Dachshunds and one very independent senior cat. Managing a pack of small dogs means I am well-versed in the unique quirks (and big personalities) of smaller breeds, while my senior kitty ensures I know exactly how to respect a cat's boundaries and keep them feeling safe and pampered. As a self-employed individual who works entirely remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine! Because my office is just my laptop, I am incredibly flexible with my days and times. For house sitting bookings, I can easily set up my workspace right from your home, meaning your pets will have consistent companionship, toilet breaks, and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. For drop-ins, my schedule allows me to easily step away to check on your pets exactly when they need me. As long as we coordinate with enough advance notice to plan my week, I can easily accommodate your pet's specific routine. Because I provide care exclusively in the pet owner's home, safety and trust are my absolute top priorities. I treat every home I visit with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and locked up tight. When it comes to your pets, my years of experience have made me highly proactive about safety: Double checking doors & gates: As a Dachshund owner, I know how sneaky small dogs can be and how quickly they can slip through an open door or a loose fence. I am incredibly vigilant about securing entryways and gates before letting any pet out. Routine & health monitoring: Caring for a 17y/o senior cat means I am highly observant. I carefully monitor food and water intake, bathroom habits, and overall body language to catch any subtle signs of stress or discomfort early. Medication & safety protocols: I follow all medication and feeding instructions to the letter, ensuring schedules are strictly maintained. Emergency preparedness: Before you leave, I always make sure we have a clear plan in place, including your preferred vet's information, emergency contacts, and your pet’s favourite hiding spots. I also love sending regular photo and text updates so you can see firsthand that your pets are safe, relaxed, and happy in their own environment!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, hamsters, horses, fish, cows, you name it. It feels pointless going on a walk without a dog to me. I’d love the chance to meet some people and animals, and spend my evenings being productive. Since moving away from home I miss my dogs so much! I have helped my mum raise them, I’ve looked after puppies from birth, old dogs who need meds and naughty dogs too who need some discipline. So I will do my best to help out and suit whatever your pets needs are, I’m really easygoing and flexible. I do have a full time job, I work 8am -4:15 pm. It’s relatively flexible if I need to leave early or go and check on a pet at lunch time. If I have enough notice I can also work from home. My evenings are always quite free which is the ideal time to help out. I’ve always been responsible and respectful, and have been trusted to babysit in other peoples homes. I am renting a room in someone’s home so I am used to respecting someone else’s space and property.

I never leave pets unattended for long periods, and I make sure they are comfortable, settled, and have everything they need before stepping into any work commitments. When I am not in meetings, I often work from home alongside the pets, so they have company and a calm presence around them. In my spare time, depending on the weather and the individual dog, I also enjoy taking them on short trips out, as long as they are comfortable travelling and happy to walk. Before I arrive, I ask owners to complete a detailed form covering routines, vet information, medication, and any important behavioural notes. This means I can follow their normal routine as closely as possible and refer back to it throughout my stay. I plan my schedule around this information so the pet’s routine remains consistent and steady. I send regular pupdates for fun and reassurance, and I will always get in touch if anything concerns me, such as noticing a lump, change in behaviour, or anything that feels out of the ordinary. When staying in a home, I am very mindful about safety and security. I always double check doors, windows, and gates are properly closed and secured, ensuring pets cannot escape and the home remains safe. About: I’ve looked after pets for over 3 years now, I am currently on “Trusted House Sitters” and have multiple 5 star reviews to show how capable and flexible I can be. I work fully remote so you’ll know your pets always have company and quality time with myself. I can do as little as 1 day or as long as 2/3 weeks at a time, I’m now looking to try Rover to be able to do this more full time. I currently work fully remote full time so will always be available to care for your pets needs whether that’s going a on a midday walk, making sure they’re fed on time and especially to help with any medication at a specific time. I currently live at home with 2 cats and a sausage dog so have the experience to keep the peace with them all running around. About: I had a dog (a Samoyed!) in my childhood through to teen hood, and have been around dogs basically my whole life via friends and family pets and volunteering. I have also had a dog, rabbits, budgies, fish, crabs, and hamsters throughout my life. Moreover, I have pet sit dogs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. I have done pet sitting on and off for the last 10 years, starting when I used to live in Thailand, and then when I moved back to England years ago, mainly for people who were away for days or weeks at a time, and I have enjoyed every minute. I have previously also been a volunteer dog walk for a local sanctuary. I can deal with giving medication (but must be spoken about and agreed prior to booking), as my cat has a thyroid issue and needs daily medication, along with the routine worming tablets etc. I will love your pet as my own and give them the absolute best care.
