House is lovely and secure and we didn’t have a worry at all about leaving the dog with them.”

“Robin and Betsy went above and beyond with looking after my dog for 10 days. “Katherine accepted to look after my dogs despite it was a very short notice . The communication was very smooth and easy . Unfortunately, one of my dogs turn out to be not very good with children and we had to shorten the period for staying , but she gave us a great support by communicating with Rover's support team patiently so that we receive the refund for those dates . Thank you very much !”

“Emily took great care of my anxious dog for the day. They have a lovely house and fenced garden, and my dog was instantly at ease there. She was great at communicating before and during the sit, and adapting to my dog's needs. I'd happily have her look after her again anytime!”

“Thank you Emily and Scott for taking such great care of our dogs. We could not ask for more caring and thoughtful sitters, who have gone above and beyond - we have complete peace of mind leaving Toby and Bea with you 😊”

“Our 7 month old dog had a lovely week with Luciane and did lots of socialising and playing. Through the booking process Luciane responded to messages very promptly and kept us up to date through the week with regular video clips which we really appreciated as it was the first time our young dog had spent away from us and we missed her! Luciane and her family are very warm and friendly and welcoming and clearly love dogs so we felt comfortable leaving our dog with her knowing that she would be well looked after. Many thanks Luciane!”

“I was super scared to leave my rescued—super reactive— dog with anyone. I had never, in fact. The meet and greet with Amanda was amazing. From minute one, my dog felt at ease. After that, it was no difficult for me to leave them alone foe the day. Amanda sent me comments, pics and even videos to keep my peace of mind. My dog was sleeping with her on the sofa, not a worry in the world. The whole process has been easy and smooth. I will definitely book with her again. Thanks so much, Amanda.”

“Melanie took great care of Jax for the few days he stayed with her! I received lots of updates and he was clearly very happy and comfortable. I'd definitely be happy to book with Melanie again sometime.”

About: Hi, I’m Ella! I’m a passionate and dedicated cat lover with professional qualifications and hands-on experience caring for cats of all ages, breeds and personalities. My goal is to ensure every cat feels safe, comfortable and relaxed in their own home while you’re away, giving you complete peace of mind. I hold a Level 3 Animal Care qualification, a Level 3 Safeguarding qualification, and I am DBS checked, so you can feel confident that your cat is in safe, knowledgeable and trustworthy hands. I have experience pet sitting for cats in their own homes, ensuring they can stay in the familiar environment they know and love. My responsibilities have included: * Feeding according to individual routines and dietary requirements. * Providing fresh water and monitoring food intake. * Cleaning litter trays and maintaining a clean, hygienic environment. * Playing with cats using their favourite toys and providing enrichment. * Giving affection and companionship while respecting each cat’s personality and boundaries. * Grooming and brushing where required. * Administering medication when instructed by owners. * Sending regular photo and video updates so owners can see their cats are happy and well cared for. * Keeping homes secure by bringing in post, opening and closing curtains, watering plants and following any additional instructions. I believe cat sitting is about much more than feeding and cleaning litter trays. Every cat has a unique personality, and I take the time to build trust, understand their routine and provide care that suits their individual needs. My qualifications in animal care give me a strong understanding of feline welfare, behaviour and wellbeing, allowing me to recognise when something isn’t quite right and ensure your cat receives the highest standard of care. As a genuine animal lover, I treat every cat as if they were my own. Whether your cat enjoys interactive play, quiet company, plenty of cuddles or simply having someone nearby while they relax, I’ll provide personalised care to help them feel safe and settled until you return. I pride myself on being reliable, organised and communicative, and I’ll always keep you updated throughout your time away so you can relax knowing your cat is in caring and capable hands.
“Cora did a great job of looking after our cat while we were away over Easter. All visits went smoothly and we received lovely updates and photos so that we could see that she was happy and well fed. Thank you!”

“First time booking Georgia and very pleased with her service - she was dropping in on my cat for 2 evenings and made sure to take pics of the cat and also how she'd set up the autofeeder to ensure I could see it was set up correctly.”

“Fantastic Pet visits by Nadia- thank you! Our first time using the Rover Service and super impressed with the ease of arranging. Pumpkin our cat was relaxed and happy on our return- all his needs were met. So happy he got to play whilst we were away for a few days. Would highly recommend Nadia who is a dedicated animal lover. I hope she is available for future visits in 2026…”

About: I have 2 cats at home called Nancy and Oliver. I have had cats since I was little. I have been cat sitting for other people for 10 years now. From diabetic to hyperthyroid to ultimate sass. I am more than comfortable with it all.

About: I believe what sets me apart is the level of care, attention, and understanding I bring to every pet I look after. As a teacher, I’m naturally patient, reliable, and highly organised, which means you can trust that your pet will be safe, well cared for, and given plenty of attention. I have experience working with a range of needs, including young pets who require consistency, basic training, and lots of energy, as well as older pets who may need a gentler approach, medication, or extra comfort and reassurance. I’m confident reinforcing routines, supporting basic training (such as lead walking or simple commands), and adapting my care to suit each individual animal. I also understand how important communication is, so I make sure to keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. Above all, I genuinely love animals and treat every pet as if they were my own—making sure they feel happy, secure, and cared for while you’re away.
About: I have had cats my entire life, and absolutely love them, so I know them very well. I think I like them so much because we have similar personalities, understand boundaries, and needing personal space haha! I'm probably what's known as a 'crazy cat lady', but with the right amount of crazy. I have also had a dog, rabbits, budgies, fish, crabs, and hamsters throughout my life. Moreover, I have pet sit dogs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, guinea pigs, and a bearded dragon. I have done pet sitting on and off for the last 10 years, starting when I used to live in Thailand, and then when I moved back to England years ago, mainly for people who were away for days or weeks at a time, and I have enjoyed every minute. I have previously also been a volunteer dog walk for a local sanctuary. I can deal with giving medication (but must be spoken about and agreed prior to booking), as my cat has a thyroid issue and needs daily medication, along with the routine worming tablets etc. I will love your pet as my own and give them the absolute best care. I look forward to meeting your pets!

“Daisy was very attentive and caring towards our cats and sent us pictures and a report daily to keep us up to date. She asked thoughtful questions and prioritised the wellbeing of our cats which we really appreciated, as well as being a lovely person in general. Absolutely recommend her.”

About: I've been taking care of cats over the past 4 years. From mature cats to super energetic cats. You can count on me for regular updates, photos, and open communication throughout each stay because I know how important peace of mind is when you’re trusting someone with your cat
About: Since I was 10, I've taken care of both dogs and cats since for my family, dogsitting for my grandmas dogs and her friends' dogs. From dog walks to housesitting to feeding and bathing, I have a lot of experience with animals and love connecting with them! I’m currently out of work right now (from part time) so am always available to look after your pets and can commute to anywhere in Oxford! I'm not currently offering boarding but I have cat toys and food if needed at mine to bring with me; I am happy to feed, bathe and give lots of attention to your pets in whatever way you require and am fully equipped to deal with all different types of animals

“We left our cat, Mito, with Stacey for 3 days and couldn’t be more happy with how it went! She sent us very frequent updates and photos of his time with her, and both her and her cat bonded with him. We will definitely rebook with Stacey in the future! :)”

About: Rather than being maternal, I have been told I'm 100% "cat"-ernal! I love cats, they are incredibly clever and I have a deep respect for them. I have trained my cats using commands, hand gestures and more recently sign language for my deaf cat- it really works! I have endless patience especially for geriatric cats and when it goes to play or fuss, I go at their pace. I always inspect their poos- it says a lot about how healthy they are, and keep an eye on any changes in their temperament, eating and general habits. If they are unwell, I know what signs to lookout for, how to check them over and how to react. Nothing is too much when it comes to their happiness.

She was very quick to reply to my request and I had excellent communication with Claire from start to finish. About: I have been around dogs my whole life & have rescued 2 dogs of my own (ages 9 & 6) along with regularly caring for family and friends pets. Over the recent years, I have fostered 4 dogs which have included Rottweiler and Cane Corsos. I work from home regularly and on days where I am working in the office (typically 2 days a week) I will have 1 hour break to spend time/let out/walk your dog along with my 2 so they will never be left for more than 4 hours at any one time during the day. I live directly next to a number of large fields which I will ensure your pet has sufficient exercise during their stay. Due to my 2 dogs coming from rescue centres, they are used to being around plenty of dogs of all sizes. As previously mentioned, all dogs that I have cared for in the last 3 years have all come from different backgrounds with some difficult behaviours/personalities so I am able to adapt to any dogs needs. Your pet will have access to my full home and will be allowed on the sofas if this is something your pet is used too. I am also happy to crate your pet should this be their routine, please provide a crate for the duration of their stay. Your pet will receive a minimum of 2 long walks a day with plenty of breaks in the garden during the day with plenty of toys to play with inside too. I have a large fenced garden with plenty of walks nearby without having to travel. Due to having 2 needy dogs they are very rarely left unattended which means your pet will have company 90% of the time. During any stay at your pets home I will ensure that their routine is followed just the same and will remain professional throughout.
“I couldn't be happier with Lauren's day care services. Our dog, Baxter, had a fantastic time with her, making new doggy friends and feeling right at home. The whole experience, from pick-up to drop-off, was seamless and stress-free. Lauren was incredibly easy to communicate with, keeping me updated on how Baxter was doing and even sending photos. It gave me great peace of mind to know that Baxter was well cared for while I was away on the other side of the world. I highly recommend Lauren and her excellent services!”

I have a cosy and warm 2 bed home with a safe enclosed 15m garden on a quiet cul-de-sac. I am proactive and thoughtful, making sure I can fit best around your and your pets needs so that your pet has an awesome time with me, and you can be safe in the knowledge they are being pampered and cared for well. About: I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals, which has given me a deep understanding of pet behaviour across what I like to call both ends of the spectrum. Growing up, my family welcomed a rescue Border Collie into our home, which taught me so much about patience, high-energy breeds, and earning a dog's trust. Later, we raised a German Shepherd from a tiny puppy all the way through to her beautiful senior years before she crossed the rainbow bridge. Navigating that full lifecycle gave me invaluable experience with everything from puppy socialisation to gentle, specialised senior care. Today, my home is happily run by my three miniature Dachshunds and one very independent senior cat. Managing a pack of small dogs means I am well-versed in the unique quirks (and big personalities) of smaller breeds, while my senior kitty ensures I know exactly how to respect a cat's boundaries and keep them feeling safe and pampered. Whether your pet is a big bundle of energy or a gentle soul who just wants to snooze on the sofa, I have the lifetime of experience needed to make them feel safe and comfortable. As a self-employed individual who works entirely remotely, pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine! Because my office is just my laptop, I am incredibly flexible with my days and times. For house sitting bookings, I can easily set up my workspace right from your home, meaning your pets will have consistent companionship, toilet breaks, and attention throughout the day rather than being left alone for long stretches. For drop-ins, my schedule allows me to easily step away to check on your pets exactly when they need me. As long as we coordinate with enough advance notice to plan my week, I can easily accommodate your pet's specific routine. Because I provide care exclusively in the pet owner's home, safety and trust are my absolute top priorities. I treat every home I visit with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and locked up tight. When it comes to your pets, my years of experience have made me highly proactive about safety: Double checking doors & gates: As a Dachshund owner, I know how sneaky small dogs can be and how quickly they can slip through an open door or a loose fence. I am incredibly vigilant about securing entryways and gates before letting any pet out. Routine & health monitoring: Caring for a 17y/o senior cat means I am highly observant. I carefully monitor food and water intake, bathroom habits, and overall body language to catch any subtle signs of stress or discomfort early. Medication & safety protocols: I follow all medication and feeding instructions to the letter, ensuring schedules are strictly maintained. Emergency preparedness: Before you leave, I always make sure we have a clear plan in place, including your preferred vet's information, emergency contacts, and your pet’s favourite hiding spots. I also love sending regular photo and text updates so you can see firsthand that your pets are safe, relaxed, and happy in their own environment!
About: I’ve always had a love for dogs, slobber and all - growing up dogs were such a big part of my life, treating them like one of the family! I’m currently working part time from home so have lots of free time during the day for dog walks and free time during the week for over night stays. I don’t have any dogs of my own, I have a good size gated garden which will keep the doggies safe while in my care.
“Cora has been wonderful with our boisterous young German Shepherd. She is communicative, clearly loves animals, and makes his walks interesting and engaging. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life however since moving out with children my family is yet to have one our own. We’re a very outdoorsy family - we spend a majority of our days doing woodland walks and at the parks. I previously did rover back in 2020 and boarded dogs with many repeat owners. I have two young children who are both very comfortable around dogs, my parents live just around the corner with a large house and garden and a loving black Lab called Rio, who we walk and see regularly, so your dogs would never be short of things to do! I have experience working with large breed dogs and rescues - I previously owned a German shepherd & 2 rescues and have experience with reactive dogs having worked with them for 4+ years. Please feel free to message me with any questions that you may have and I’ll see what I can do to help. You’ll be able to rest assured your pets are receiving the best care here, lots of photos and videos will be sent and I’ll make sure to create that “home away from home” feeling! I’m a stay at home mum, available 24/7 - so I would be able to accommodate your dogs needs, whether that was plenty of walks and outdoor activities or shorter walks and more mental stimulation inside, whatever you felt your dog would cope with best we can accommodate. I currently live in a 2 bedroom flat but we often spend a majority of our days outside. If your dog was comfortable with other dogs we love to go around the corner to my parents house where they have a very large fully enclosed garden and a black Labrador called Rio who loves to play, we have doggy pools and lots of fun things to do in the garden there also. We also enjoy renting enclosed dog fields/woodlands for run arounds, exploring and fun in a safe environment 🐾.

About: Former rescue dog owner. Have been around pets all my life. Loving home with enclosed garden in a new development so away from main roads and plenty of open space. Work from home so available all day. Fun and energetic couple. We enjoy walks. No pets at home and no kids. I work from home in my garden cabin so dog will have ability to be outside at all times. We enjoy walks so will be taken often. No kids or pets at home so a safe relaxing environment I have a fenced garden and surrounded by open spaces. Dogs will take centre stage and have free roam on couch and plenty of attention.
“Communication was amazing throughout and Loreta was very thoughtful about the hot conditions, amending what was possible given the heat. I would have no hesitation in recommending Loreta and hopefully Kenny will see her again soon!”

About: Being a veterinary nurse gives me the skill set to care for those pets with additional needs, both medical and behavioural. I have experiance with puppies and kittens, from hand rearing to puppy parties. I enjoy care of senior patients with mobility issues or those needing that extra TLC. I work as a veterinary nurse still but on reduced hours so it will be around my hours. When house sitting I will not be taking on nursing shifts at the same time so I can give your pets my full attention. When caring for your pets in your own home I look to keep there routine as normal as possible. I find the key to happy and settled pets is ensuring there routine isn't disruptive.

“Nadia has been walking Kobi for about month She has been really patient and understanding with all our needs. As a rescue Kobi comes with some sensitivities and reactions. Nadia has been kind and gentle with him. She is quick to respond to messages and reliable. She has helped us out at short notice and has a good understanding of dog behaviour and is willing to accommodate Kobis needs which is a lovely quality that we really appreciate. Kobis much more than 'just a dog' to us and she's been sensitive reassuring and non judgemental . Thankyou Nadia. So glad we found you”

About: I've had dogs as a child as part of the family and known how important they are to their owner. More recently I have cats (3) and whilst living in Jordan I fostered several cats and found them homes. I'm used to large dogs, elderly dogs and excited puppies and thoroughly enjoy walking them and keeping them company. If you need someone to pop in and check on your furfamily during the day whilst you're away, stay the night or walk them I can help. I'm a teacher so have half terms free for when you may sant to get away. I don't have children so not dictated by this factor either. I'm not offering board at my home. However I will follow whatever instructions you leave since it will be different for each furfamily. Happy to clear litter trays, play with your pets for mental stimulation or take for walks.

About: I've owned dogs my whole life (34years) I also regularly work my own gundogs. I enjoy meeting different breeds, and have a keen interest in their wellbeing. I drop my 2 daughters off at school, ensure all chores at home are done and I then have free time to walk other dogs I am very considerate and thoughtful of other people's pets and routines and will always go my best to follow instructions to ensure maximum satisfaction for all involved.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life. Growing up with a mum who was a veterinary nurse, I was surrounded by all kinds of creatures and learned early on how to care for them with confidence and compassion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping with a dog rescue charity, supporting the rehabilitation and rehoming of dogs from Serbia—an experience that deepened my understanding of not only behavioural and lifestyle needs but emotional. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats wnd rodents and have built a solid, hands-on knowledge across many species. Whether your pet is big or small, fluffy or scaly, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I would my own. Driving license ✅ DBS check ✅ Fully insured ✅ Following an accident, I took the opportunity to reassess my career and realised that working with animals brings me the greatest sense of purpose and fulfilment. I’ve now made pet care my full-time profession, combining years of hands-on experience with a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of every animal in my care. To further my knowledge and enhance the services I offer, I’m also undertaking additional training and courses focused on animal care and welfare. This means that—if I’m not already booked—I’m ready and waiting to help whenever you and your animals need me. I make sure every pet’s routine and needs are followed carefully, so they feel comfortable and secure. If I’m caring for them at home, you can expect a happy, relaxed pet and a home that’s left just as clean—or even cleaner—than when I arrived. If they’re staying with me, they’ll have plenty of space to roam and explore, with miles of open fields and a secure fenced area to keep them safe while they have fun.

“Frank had a wonderful overnight stay with Danielle. She and her family looked after him perfectly & were so kind to him. He enjoyed his sleepover & making new friends & it was a comfort to us to know that he was so well looked after. We will definitely be booking with Danielle in future & would have no hesitation recommending her. Thank you Danielle!”

“From the photos I could she that Sandy was having a great time. Jing kept me updated and I could see that their Daisy loved Sandy. I would definitely use their service again.”

“Claire and her family (and gentle dog Coco) looked after our springerpoo Tara for 10 days this summer. Tara can be a bit anxious when staying somewhere new, but we felt very comfortable leaving her with them - and were sent regular updates and photos throughout, assuring us that she was having the best time. Claire is warm and friendly, and obviously loves dogs - and I can thoroughly recommend her.”

“Can massively recommend Sophie and Ash! Our dog Poppy had a brilliant time, was really well looked after and came back worn out (in a good way!). Sophie was fantastic at keeping in touch and sending regular updates and photos which we really appreciated.”

About: I’ve volunteered at a local dog walking centre for around 12 years now, I have a huge passion for dogs and cats and have had several cats over the past 8 years. I love the warmth and unconditional love that you get from both dogs and cats and want to share my passion whilst helping others at the same time! ☺️ I work currently Mon-Fri 9-6 but I am flexible on weekends for regular boarding or overnight boarding, both myself and my girlfriend are active and can go on long walks, with local parks and plenty of green space to explore as well if needed. I do have a garden here as well as a spacious home for any pet to explore as well as lots of local green space to walk and explore in

Surprisingly they became good friends and one of thr cats came out to say goodbye. Vicky sent pics and videos and took them for walks everyday. Tha k you Vi ky for looking after our doggies.”

“From first visit made to feel part of the family, we were anxious leaving our puppy for the first time but that soon disappeared when we started receiving lovely photos of Jacie enjoying her time with her adopted family. They were very tentative towards her needs and kept us update with regular information. We will definitely be using Lauren and Family again to look after our dog. Thank you.”

“Lenna was a great sitter to find, she helped me out at short notice & Coco stayed over for a night. Coco seemed to be very happy with her mini break & it made my life a lot easier knowing she was with a kind person”

“Our Labrador had a lovely weekend stay! 🐾 We were kept fully updated with messages and photos of how he was getting on and what he was up to, which gave us so much peace of mind. He was clearly well looked after and happy the whole time. Would definitely recommend and book again!”

“Marta was fantastic with our Gu at such short notice. She treated him like one of her own and appreciated him like we do. Sent regular photos of how he was doing and took him out 3 times a day whilst working from home, so a perfect sitter. Would highly recommend and will happily rebook in the future.”

“Angela and Mark are wonderful with Ruff. They take her to new places, let her sniff, gives her lots of cuddles and send us lots of pictures to document her stay with them. 2nd time we’ve used their services and we certainly will again. Always an absolute pleasure to meet them and people we know we can trust.”

“Our girls had another wonderful week with Helena and Jon, with lots of walkies and cuddles. We received loads of updates and amazing photos, we could see the doggies were really enjoying themselves and being well cared for. We have rebooked Helena again in September.”

“Silma was fantastic! She communicated clearly from start to finish – welcoming me and showing me around her home, and keeping me updated throughout the day. She was proactive, attentive, and took wonderful care of my little girl, who I found relaxed and happy when I picked her up. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Silma!”
