5. Gemma S.
About: I’ve been caring for animals since age of 10. From hand rearing baby bunnies, feeding ducks, chicken and kittens to puppies to all grown up cats she dogs even feeding baby cows I just love animals. Happy to help where I can. I currently work at a local medical practice 3 days a week part time so can fit in on my days off and come before and after work. I work part time 3 short days a week with 4 out of 7 days off it fits in pretty easy. I always make it work. I have 3 children who just love animals aswell sometimes they like to come with me and help me with walking fussing and feeding under my supervision but they know on occasions they can’t if your furry friend is not overly keen on children. As I work in healthcare I’m fully dbs checked also.

7. Roseanna G.
About: Being a veterinary nurse gives me the skill set to care for those pets with additional needs, both medical and behavioural. I have experiance with puppies and kittens, from hand rearing to puppy parties. I enjoy care of senior patients with mobility issues or those needing that extra TLC. I work as a veterinary nurse still but on reduced hours so it will be around my hours. When house sitting I will not be taking on nursing shifts at the same time so I can give your pets my full attention. When caring for your pets in your own home I look to keep there routine as normal as possible. I find the key to happy and settled pets is ensuring there routine isn't disruptive.

9. Nicole T.

“Nicole was helpful, gave our cat attention during her visits and kept us updated at all times. Everything went well and we would definitely recommend her and will be using her again. Nothing was too much trouble.”

10. Alina Alicja B.

“Alina took care of my cat (Malka) for 36 hours by 3 drop in visits during which time she had to give medication in food and set up auto feeders and deal with nervous but curious animal. She did this with expertise and compassion, paying attention to Malka's personality quirks and giving her space whilst being on hand to show her she had human company. I've used Alina before and booked her again for a reason, I had complete faith in leaving my neurotic bundle with her. I would recommend Alina in a heartbeat! Thanks.”

11. Jessica B.
“I previously hired Jessica to take care of my dogs while I was away on vacation and I must say I was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention to detail provided by the sitter. From the moment Jessica arrived I could tell she was a genuine animal lover. She followed all of my instructions to the letter ensuring my dog's routine was not disrupted in any way and with them both eating two different types of foods, she was so good with them and making sure they ate separately. Jessica also sent me daily updates and photos which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of reliable and caring pet care services.”

12. Emmalina B.

“Emmy did a fantastic job looking after our dogs! Emmy kindly agreed to do a meet an greet earlier in the week, which really helped to put our minds at rest as our dogs are both giant and a bit of a handful! But Emmy did a wonderful job keeping them company and relaxed whilst we were away and keeping us informed which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend and we will definitely be using her to sit for our pooches in the future!”

13. Chris H.
“My four legged bundle of energy Bertie loves his walks with Chris. Both on and off lead, he always comes back ready for a nap after exploring new and exciting places and making friends along the way. Chris is super friendly and easy to talk to for both humans and canines alike! Thank you for a smooth process and taking such good care of my treasured pet!”

14. Gabrielle P.
About: I have had pets in the family since I was a child, and love being around all breeds of dogs. I have experience volunteering at the local Dogs Trust charity, have been involved in puppy training and looking after various pets of our family & friends. Myself & my husband rescued a mixed breed dog from Hungary in 2021 called Jennifer, after she was found in a park giving birth to 9 puppies. If boarding at our home, your dog will have Jenny as a playmate. However if you prefer, I can offer walks & drop ins solo. I’m currently working as a part-time flight attendant. This means that I won’t have regular availability during the week, however the dates I mark as available will be my rest days from travelling, so will be around for the entire day to care for your dog. We have a completely fenced garden with bi-fold doors which in summer can be left open for your dog to wander in and out of the garden as they choose/to take toilet breaks. Our recuse dog Jennifer will be great company for your dog, providing a play date at the same time as your dog being looked after. Our home routine is already based around dog life, so yours will fit right in!

15. Zoe E.
“Zoe is a caring lady, who puts her animals first. She has always had a massive passion for looking after dogs and this will be the same for someone else’s dogs”

16. Bianca H.
About: Hello! I'm Bianca, I'm 34-years-old. I'm a dog walker & pet sitter (hense being on Rover 😝) - this has been my full time job since September 2021. I also do the odd bit of freelance photography & graphic design work however I have have a lot of availability as a lot of my work is done from my laptop 😊. I absolutely adore animals! When I was younger my dad used to own a Labrador breeding company called 'Ridgeway Labradors'. I loved going to his house & helping to look after all of the dogs & the puppies. He also had other animals including a pig, a rabbit, two Shetland ponies, ducks, chickens, a cockerel & an African Grey parrot. I also had a Labrador myself for 12 years who I loved an incredible amount! Plus my sisters both have 3 dogs each, so there's animals pretty much everywhere within my family! I'm more than happy to watch the owners pets at their home. I'm very clean & tidy. if required, I'll take in/sign for any deliveries whilst I'm there & go to the shop if any pet food/supplies are needed. I'm happy to walk owner's dog's around their local area & if the owner doesn't mind their dog travelling in a car, I can take them to nice walking place's e.g. Wittenham Clumps. I'm also a sociable soul. I love to take dogs out to cafés/pubs with my boyfriend/friends or to meet my friends for dog walks with other dogs (only if the dogs are not anxious/reactive around other people, other dogs & in public places). If you have any questions, please do ask - I hope to hear from you soon & happy sitter hunting ☺️. Thank you, Bianca 🐾 I have some freelance work which means I am often sat on my laptop, so pet sitting works perfectly for me! I'm happy to chill & play with your pets whilst working too. If your pet has any special requirements or needs, I'm happy to discuss those & act on what is asked of me. I understand that some owner's dogs like to have company by their side the whole time, I don't mind having dogs on the bed! I have a lot of free time, I sometimes photograph a music event but that's about once a month & late at night. I have the odd bit of design work that I do from home, so I can do that whilst caring for your pet(s) but I'm currently available to spend a lot of time with your pet(s) 😊. I have a fenced garden in a detached house where I live with my mum, 18-year-old niece & my Tabby cat called Lady. Lady isn't home all too often, she pops in for food & the odd nap. I'm happy to keep the dog(s) apart from my cats, to chill in different rooms but in all honesty, Lady tends to stay outside or likely at one of our neighbours houses when a dog is around. There's a good walking area in Ladygrove around the back of my house as well as a field. I have plenty of time to care for & play with your pets 😊 plus look after your home if it's a house sitting job. I photograph a music event once a month in Oxford, on a Saturday night. I do the social media, graphic design & phtoography for it, that is done on either my phone or my laptop. I also work the odd mobile bar job at weddings, corporate events etc around Oxfordshire. But mainly I have a lot of spare time, the pet sitting is my main source of income. I love looking after pets & getting to know them more with regular bookings, it warms my soul 🥰. I share my home with my mum & my 19-year-old niece who loves animals too & has started doing her own pet sitting jobs. I'm usually at home on my own in the day in the week until they're back from work. We live in a three bedroom detached house in the estate Ladygrove in Didcot. We have a fenced garden. I have a cat called ladyshe is rarely in, she may pop in for food or the odd nap. I'm happy to keep your pet separate within the rooms to the cats 😊.

18. Connie F.
“Connie is an exceptional pet caregiver, and I highly recommend her services. From the moment you meet her, it is evident that she is passionate and dedicated to the well-being of animals. Whether it is a brief drop-in visit or an extended pet-sitting stay, Connie consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the happiness, health, and comfort of the pets in her care. She is exceptionally responsible, organised, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and routines. What truly sets Connie apart is the genuine love and connection she establishes with every animal she cares for. She goes beyond mere task completion; she engages, plays, and bonds with them in a manner that provides real companionship and security. I always feel at ease knowing that my pets are in capable and loving hands. Connie also keeps pet parents informed with regular messages, photographs, and thoughtful updates, which alleviates stress and provides reassurance throughout the experience. Her calm and nurturing demeanour helps even the most anxious pets feel safe and cared for.”
