Highly recommend Chenyan, not only did she manage to amend her schedule to fit us in on a last minute booking, but she also managed to fit in a meetup visit the day before so she can get to know Elune. Our Lulu is very anxious around new people and is also quite a big dog, however Chenyan showed patience and empathy towards her from the moment they met. She has also shown amazing communication with us throughout the process and great connection with Elune, making her feel safe and calm for the evening. Chenyan also provided lots of photos, videos and updates to show us how Elune was doing. In terms of the house, she treated it with respect, leaving it in a clean and proper state. We are incredibly grateful we worked together and we will definitely reach out to Chenyan for future collaboration. Thank you so much for your kindness and patience with Elune :)

Rosemary looked after our nervous dog Ruby for the day. From the start Rosemary was very quick to respond and arranged a visit to meet us and Ruby before the planned booking. Rosemary was lovely, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble and Ruby definitely took to her. I was kept informed during the day which was very reassuring. Thank you Rosemary again for yesterday’s sitting and I will definitely be getting in touch again to arrange another booking.

About: Growing up with my dog, Jack, taught me early on that pets aren't just animals—they are family. Jack and I grew up together, and that lifelong bond shaped my deep understanding of canine companionship and behavior. I know firsthand how important it is to leave your best friend with someone who truly cares. Whether it is keeping up with energetic play, ensuring strict feeding routines, or just offering a patient and comforting presence, I am dedicated to providing a safe, reliable, and loving environment for your pet while you are away. My schedule offers excellent flexibility for dedicated pet care. I am fully available for boarding and house-sitting over the weekends, and my weekdays are highly adaptable, allowing me to provide plenty of daytime attention, structured walks, and companionship. This flexibility ensures I can easily align with your dog's established feeding, exercise, and bathroom routines without disruption. Safety is my absolute priority. Whether caring for your pet in your home or managing them in an outdoor environment, I am highly attentive to canine body language to ensure they always feel secure and unstressed. I strictly follow all owner instructions regarding leash safety, crating preferences, and dietary restrictions, providing a calm, hazard-free, and trustworthy environment for your pet.

Ed was a very proactive, kind, and thoughtful sitter for our two dogs and cat. He handled our dogs' quirks (leash reactivity) well and left our home spotless. The pets must have loved him because they were barely excited to see us! One of our pups Marcela isn't normally a cuddler but it was obvious from the photos that she loved and felt safe around Ed. I received daily updates on my trip with photos. Overall, he's agreat sitter and I highly recommend booking him.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life. While I don’t currently have dogs of my own, I’ve spent many years walking and helping care for dogs through my mum, who is a dog sitter. I’m calm, confident, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, especially out on walks. Cats are my strongest experience. I’ve had cats all my life, from family pets to my own, and I currently have four. I’m very familiar with feeding routines, litter care, medications, and understanding different cat personalities. I’m reliable, attentive, and treat every pet with care and respect, following their usual routines so they feel safe and settled. I work from home, or anywhere with a decent wi-fi connection and can be happily distracted by dogs and cats! I would work around the needs of the specific pet and accommodate their needs as required. I would listen to, and follow all guidance / rules for the safety of your dog and/or cat in your house, garden and on walks as applicable.

Deeya was on time and fully prepared to look after our dogs after our earlier meet and greet. The dogs were very happy in her company and she easily made friends with them (and us!). The dogs are fairly easy to look after, but Deeya discovered one of them had picked up something in the garden, possibly a chicken bone, and removed it without fuss - not easy with our two. Well done Deeya, see you again.

About: I've grown up with Border Collies, so high-energy breeds are right up my alley. Our dog Pero, featured in my profile, was raised from a puppy, giving me practical experience in caring for young dogs. Offering my services on Rover isn't just about helping you out; it's an opportunity to meet and care for your wonderful dogs, creating a positive experience for all involved! I work full-time, but as long as you have WiFi, I'm more than willing to work remotely as I have that option 3 days a week. Please note - if you book me for house sitting, this does mean I have to go into the office in Newbury 2x a week so your dog(s) would be in the house unattended from 08:00-17:00. In addition to this, I'm free most evenings and mornings when I'm in Reading, so I'm available to walk your furry friends! I'm happy to provide midweek and weekend dogsitting & walking as long as it fits both of our schedules :) I can offer daily dog sitting in your home - please message to discuss if this is required :) Ensuring your dog feels at ease, I'd maintain their routine with regular walks, meals, and playtime, as instructed by yourselves. Following your guidelines, I'll provide companionship, keeping a watchful eye on their well-being and happiness. Consistent communication and updates will keep you informed and reassured while you're away - unless you'd rather be left alone, in which case I'll provide just as many updates as you require! :)

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have been around animals since childhood. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Over the years, I've looked after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities for family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience with energetic puppies, senior dogs, and dogs that need a little extra patience and attention. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in caring and dependable hands. I work a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure they get the care and attention they need. I'm available most weekdays and weekends, and I'm happy to work with your pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have had dogs all my life and understand how important it is to leave them with someone you trust. I have a secure fenced garden within the building where dogs can safely play and explore. I follow any feeding schedules, medication instructions, and routines provided by owners so your dog feels as comfortable as possible while you're away. If your dog is crate trained, I can accommodate that as well.

About: I grew up with dogs in Colombia and have cared for family dogs for many years, so I understand how important routine, patience and trust are when looking after a pet. I have experience with daily walks, feeding, playtime, cleaning, basic grooming and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable. I am calm, responsible and attentive, and I always try to understand each dog’s personality, habits and needs before caring for them. I’m happy to follow the owner’s instructions closely and provide regular updates, photos and messages so they feel reassured while their dog is with me. I’m currently offering dog walks, drop-in visits and pet sitting, and I prefer to arrange a meet & greet first to make sure the dog feels comfortable with me. I work remotely so I stay at home. Normally wake up at 7 and go to bed at 11-ish. I go for walk before or after lunch along the river or in the medow parks. If sitting your pet you can also expect me to accomodate the walks according to the suggested schedule. I live in an apartment in the first floor. It's very safe. Even though we've got a balcony It's normally closed. It's 60 square meter flat so it's big enough. When sitting your dog I'll be normally playful, I like to pet them and be attentive so that I understand the dog's body language.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, and over the past 10 years I’ve gained experience with all kinds of pets — from guinea pigs and hamsters to cats and dogs. My family currently has five dogs, so daily pet care is a big part of my life. I’ve also supported two litters of puppies, each with five little ones, which taught me a lot about patience, gentleness, and routine. I have a soft spot for French Bulldogs and understand their unique needs. I truly love being around animals and treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I work full‑time within the NHS on a three‑day schedule, which gives me four days each week dedicated to dog walking. This flexibility allows me to offer reliable availability and plenty of time for longer walks, regular exercise, and consistent routines. Whether your dog needs a calm stroll, a bit of extra energy release, or steady weekly walks, I make sure every outing is safe, enjoyable, and suited to their personality. I live in a comfortable flat just a short walk from a lovely local park, which makes it easy to give dogs plenty of outdoor time and regular walks. Inside my home, I keep a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I make sure they have a cosy space to settle, fresh water available at all times, and lots of attention throughout the day. Because the park is so close, I’m able to take dogs out frequently for exercise, toilet breaks, and playtime, which helps them stay happy and relaxed during their stay. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor the routine to each dog’s needs so they feel comfortable and well cared for in my home.

Also a very respecful guest in our home. Definitely recommend her :)

We can highly recommend Ieva as a housesitter for your pets. Ieva looked after our two dogs Lulu and Holly whilst we were away on holiday for a week in April 2026. Ieva arranged a pre-visit to meet us and our dogs before the house sitting which reassured us that they would be looked after well. Whilst on holiday we received regular updates with photos and when we returned home everything was left clean and tidy and the dogs were relaxed and happy. We hope to be able to use Ieva's housesitting services again the next time we go on holiday.
