About: I have several years of experience caring for my own dogs, as well as previous experience with a wide range of pets, including exotic animals. I’m confident and comfortable with pets of all temperaments and stay calm in new or unexpected situations. I also have an academic background in biology, which helps me better understand animal behaviour and body language. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, carefully follow owners’ instructions, and keep up to date with best practices in pet care to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a contract part-time job and have plenty of free time. I am free most of the days with exceptions for Monday and Sunday evenings and some occasional events. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine at all times. While I do not offer boarding or in-home stays, I provide attentive dog walking services in the local area and drop-in care for cats. During walks, I ensure dogs are handled securely, follow owner instructions closely, and choose safe, familiar routes. I provide regular photo updates so owners can feel confident and informed. For cat care, I focus on maintaining a calm and respectful environment in the owner’s home, following feeding and care instructions precisely, and engaging in play or interaction only if the cat is comfortable and receptive. I always respect pets’ boundaries and aim to keep their environment stress-free and consistent with their normal routine.

About: Although I only recently began caring for my own cat, I have been studying feline behavior and care science for over 10 years. Through hands-on experience with my cat, I am familiar with administering medication, nail trimming, tear stain cleaning, managing soft stools, ear cleaning, and maintaining dental hygiene. If your cat has any special needs related to these areas, you can rely on me to provide patient, attentive, and informed care. As I’m currently taking a career break, I have flexible availability most days from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM, so I can give your cats plenty of time and attention. I currently offer cat-only drop-in visits. During each visit, I can provide dry and wet food feeding (with precise gram measurements if needed), grooming, petting, interactive playtime, litter box cleaning, and medication administration. I’m also happy to clean up any small messes your furry pal may make, ensuring your home stays tidy and your cat stays comfortable.

About: I have looked after dogs for over half my life and most recently lived with a dog in my central Reading home for over 2 years. Dogs deserve nothing but the best care and attention and when it comes to pet-care, I like to think any dog should consider my home as an extension of your home. My absolute favourite sign of a well looked after dog is the post-walk nap - I treat it as a badge of honour for a successfully cared for pup! I am currently only looking to look after dogs Friday - Monday, as work and other commitments during the week mean that I would not feel like I am the best possible care and attention that they deserve. I typically like to give 3 walks per day, including a visit to the park, but I am happy to follow your current routine! I have a quiet and spacious ground floor flat, with no same floor neighbours, meaning limited unknown noises and foot traffic that could unsettle your dog. There is a nearby river and lots of parks a short walk away to go explore, so I like to mix up routes depending on the weather and time of year.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 5 years old and have shared over 15 years with my cat, so I truly understand the different personalities and needs of both pups and felines. Friends have always trusted me to look after their pets because they know I treat every animal like family. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job — it’s something I genuinely love. Your pet will get patience, attention, and lots of affection, just like they would at home. As a full-time teacher, I have a consistent and reliable schedule. I’m available for pet care on weekdays after 5pm. Also available during weekends. During half terms and school holidays, I have much more flexibility and can offer daytime care, longer visits, and extended stays. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine, and I love spending my free time caring for animals. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, walk routines, and any special instructions you provide. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it tidy, secure, and exactly as you left it. You can expect regular updates and photos so you always feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Having grown up in Italy with dogs as part of the family—thanks to a large garden and an animal-loving home—I’ve always had a natural bond with them. Rover has given me the perfect way to continue enjoying their company, and because I work from home most of the time, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’d be delighted to look after your dog, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch! I work from home most of the time, so I'm quite flexible. Sometimes I need to travel for work or attend appointments out, but I'm happy to discuss your needs and find a way to make it work! My partner and I live in a second floor flat, no balcony. No other animals in the house. No children. My flat has carpet in most areas, so I can only take house trained dogs.

Kin was absolutely amazing with our cats. Incredibly attentive and reliable. She sent daily updates with photos and videos. She is the first person we’ve trusted with our cats and would 100% trust her again in a heartbeat. She was great with both our cats and very understanding that one is a very shy cat and takes time to come round. We cannot praise Kin enough. We would highly recommend

About: I am a young professional who works from home most days. I grew up with a family dog and lost them a few years ago, and I really miss having a dog around. I’m pretty active and spend a lot of my free time out on walks and grabbing coffee on lunch breaks and weekends. Happy to help with walks, sitting, or check-ins. I love staying active and most weekends are spent walking in the countryside, or heading to parkrun, so I’m usually around and loving the outdoors makes it easy to bring dogs along. I also work from home two days a week, which means I’m free during lunch breaks for walks or check-ins. Evenings and weekends are generally flexible and easy for me to plan. I love giving lots of cuddles, attention, and playtime and I am confident looking after and interacting with lots of different dogs. I live in a safe, calm home with a fully fenced back garden, so there’s plenty of space for supervised outdoor time as well.

I adore cats, why I could have my own but my landlord doesn’t allow it! I work full time so I’m only available weekends for dog walks. I could do some week day evenings but I would need notice for this. I know safety around animals, I’ll always keep them on the lead unless you’ve told me otherwise and I’d keep them away from aggressive dogs etc

About: Hi, I’m Laura 👋🏻 - your seasoned pet sitter and I’m thrilled to offer a warm and personalised experience for you fur baby! A little bit about me...I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I used to look after my nan's puppies every day after school. At my parents' house we've had a cat for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience looking after cats too.  My first graduate job was working in frundraising at Guide Dogs. We had a dog friendly office as well as a training center on site, so I was surrounded by pups on a daily basis and learnt vital skills about their care and behaviour.  I'm experienced and confident around dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes. 😊 I have a lot of experience looking after puppies, rescues and senior pets. As I work remotely, I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'm available to take care of your pets most weekdays/weekends. I'm offering doggy daycare at my home, dog walking (30mins+), house visits and house sitting services at your home. I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays. I can host dogs in my flat, which is right in front of a lovely park, or provide care in their own home where they feel most at ease. Wherever they stay, I’ll make sure they get the same love, attention, and routine they’re used to — with plenty of updates for you too!

About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 6, 10 & 12 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!

About: With 15 years of dog ownership experience I've cared for a range of breeds, from large German Shepherds to small Yorkshire Terriers. While I currently don't have a dog of my own, I regularly look after Rover guest dogs and tend to the pets of family and friends. I've successfully cared for dogs of various ages, breeds, and temperaments, and would love to care for your fur baby! Whilst your away I send regular updates with photos and videos so you can stay in touch with your pooch. I can administer medications, including eardrops and oral meds if your dog is unwell during their stay. Your dog will enjoy a comfortable home environment with a garden, offering ample playtime, toilet breaks, walks, and cosy moments on the sofa. As an extra service, I can provide baths, blow-drying and brushing. Please consult my calendar for availability- Your dog will experience a calm and homely atmosphere during their stay. I can accommodate up to two dogs simultaneously, but this may vary based on space and the preferences of the dogs involved. If you have multiple dogs, I can happily care for them together. Please note that I exclusively offer dog sitting at your home on Fridays and weekends only. Residing on the ground floor of a small block of flats, I have convenient access to a large communal garden, securely gated and fenced. I had an emergency out of town trip and I needed a cat sitter. This was my first time using the app and I had just moved house. Tommy was able to reassure me, both with his relaxed presence and clear experience with looking after animals. My cat is very skittish and I’m sure she wasn’t the most entertaining but Tommy persevered and was able to look after her and send pictures (when he could Catch a glimpse). Would recommend and would use again.
