About: I have looked after dogs for over half my life and most recently lived with a dog in my central Reading home for over 2 years. Dogs deserve nothing but the best care and attention and when it comes to pet-care, I like to think any dog should consider my home as an extension of your home. My absolute favourite sign of a well looked after dog is the post-walk nap - I treat it as a badge of honour for a successfully cared for pup! I am currently only looking to look after dogs Friday - Monday, as work and other commitments during the week mean that I would not feel like I am the best possible care and attention that they deserve. I typically like to give 3 walks per day, including a visit to the park, but I am happy to follow your current routine! I have a quiet and spacious ground floor flat, with no same floor neighbours, meaning limited unknown noises and foot traffic that could unsettle your dog. There is a nearby river and lots of parks a short walk away to go explore, so I like to mix up routes depending on the weather and time of year.

I’m pretty active and spend a lot of my free time out on walks and grabbing coffee on lunch breaks and weekends. Happy to help with walks, sitting, or check-ins. About: I love a dogs playful and kind nature. I’ve been around dogs all my life and strangers dogs always come up to me which must be a good sign! I adore cats, why I could have my own but my landlord doesn’t allow it! I work full time so I’m only available weekends for dog walks. I used to look after my nan's puppies every day after school. At my parents' house we've had a cat for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience looking after cats too.  My first graduate job was working in frundraising at Guide Dogs. We had a dog friendly office as well as a training center on site, so I was surrounded by pups on a daily basis and learnt vital skills about their care and behaviour.  I'm experienced and confident around dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes. 😊 I have a lot of experience looking after puppies, rescues and senior pets. As I work remotely, I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'm available to take care of your pets most weekdays/weekends. I'm offering doggy daycare at my home, dog walking (30mins+), house visits and house sitting services at your home. I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays. About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 6, 10 & 12 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!

I'm proficient in walking dogs that aren't mine and I can handle multiple dogs simultaneously. I use basic dog commands and effective lead control to ensure your dog is safe outside on walks. Whilst your away I send regular updates with photos and videos so you can stay in touch with your pooch. I can administer medications, including eardrops and oral meds if your dog is unwell during their stay. Your dog will enjoy a comfortable home environment with a garden, offering ample playtime, toilet breaks, walks, and cosy moments on the sofa. As an extra service, I can provide baths, blow-drying and brushing. Please consult my calendar for availability- Your dog will experience a calm and homely atmosphere during their stay. I can accommodate up to two dogs simultaneously, but this may vary based on space and the preferences of the dogs involved. If you have multiple dogs, I can happily care for them together. Please note that I exclusively offer dog sitting at your home on Fridays and weekends only. Residing on the ground floor of a small block of flats, I have convenient access to a large communal garden, securely gated and fenced. The living room is spacious, providing a comfortable setting for your dog. They are welcome to join me on the sofa, and for overnight stays they can choose between their own dog bed or the sofa. Additionally, a nearby park and easy access to quiet off-road paths and woodland areas offer outdoor options for day time activities.
