“Ching Man did an amazing job looking after my cat Heinz! She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and clearly really cares about the pets she looks after. Heinz seemed totally relaxed and happy when I got back, which says it all. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!”

About: I recently returned to the UK from the United States and grew up in Denmark, where I was surrounded by animals from an early age. I was also an avid horse rider, which gave me valuable experience caring for and understanding animals of all sizes. I have worked as a full-time professional pet-sitter in the US and have rescued and rehabilitated cats, helping them regain their confidence and health through patient, compassionate care. As a parent who has raised three children, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust that your beloved pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I love walking in nature and enjoy getting to know the unique personality of every pet I care for. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a shy cat who needs a calm, gentle approach, I adapt my care to suit each animal’s individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, companionship, and personalized care. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. I’m available to provide dog walking and pet sitting services between 6am to 3pm every day. I’m currently available all day and I will accommodate your pet’s schedule. I will follow your instructions for pet sitting and dog walking closely. I will make sure your pet feels very comfortable in my company. I will always connect with your pet and make sure all their needs are met.
About: Dogs were with me since my birth. It's a totem animal of our family. I've started my pet care experience when I was 10. I walked and looked after our English Spaniel Tim. Later our family got yorkies. Currently I have a beautiful girl Mima and provide the best service (walks, food, treats, vet visits) to her I’m a freelance Social Media Manager, so I’m normally based at home. I have a flexible work schedule most days, that's why I can get out for a walk and a play pretty regularly. I have a flat on the 5th floor without balcony. The house has CCTV. The flat is fully secure and I’m right by Forbury Gardens park for walks.
About: I treat every dog as if they were my own — learning their quirks, favourites routes, and cuddle preferences. It’s not just a walk; it’s a friendship. I currently wfh two days a week usually Monday and Friday but quite flexible. I’m always free at weekends and Christmas time this year too When caring for pets — whether in my home or the owner’s — I make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priorities. In a pet owner’s home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walk schedules to how they like to play or relax. I take time to build trust with each animal, especially those who are shy or anxious, and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know their pet is happy and safe. When pets stay with me, I create a calm, comfortable environment where they can feel at home. They have plenty of space to play, nap, and get cuddles. I make sure walks, meals, and rest times match their usual rhythm, and I never leave them unattended for long periods. Whether it’s a quick walk or overnight care, my goal is always the same — to give pets love, stability, and attention so they feel secure and content while their owners are away.
About: Having grown up in Italy with dogs as part of the family—thanks to a large garden and an animal-loving home—I’ve always had a natural bond with them. Rover has given me the perfect way to continue enjoying their company, and because I work from home most of the time, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’d be delighted to look after your dog, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch! I work from home most of the time, so I'm quite flexible. Sometimes I need to travel for work or attend appointments out, but I'm happy to discuss your needs and find a way to make it work! My partner and I live in a second floor flat, no balcony. No other animals in the house. No children. My flat has carpet in most areas, so I can only take house trained dogs.
About: Hi, I’m Laura 👋🏻 - your seasoned pet sitter and I’m thrilled to offer a warm and personalised experience for you fur baby! A little bit about me...I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I used to look after my nan's puppies every day after school. At my parents' house we've had a cat for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience looking after cats too. My first graduate job was working in frundraising at Guide Dogs. We had a dog friendly office as well as a training center on site, so I was surrounded by pups on a daily basis and learnt vital skills about their care and behaviour. I'm experienced and confident around dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes. 😊 I have a lot of experience looking after puppies, rescues and senior pets. As I work remotely, I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'm available to take care of your pets most weekdays/weekends. I'm offering doggy daycare at my home, dog walking (30mins+), house visits and house sitting services at your home. I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays. I can host dogs in my flat, which is right in front of a lovely park, or provide care in their own home where they feel most at ease. Wherever they stay, I’ll make sure they get the same love, attention, and routine they’re used to — with plenty of updates for you too!
About: I have several years of experience caring for my own dogs, as well as previous experience with a wide range of pets, including exotic animals. I’m confident and comfortable with pets of all temperaments and stay calm in new or unexpected situations. I also have an academic background in biology, which helps me better understand animal behaviour and body language. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, carefully follow owners’ instructions, and keep up to date with best practices in pet care to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a contract part-time job and have plenty of free time. I am free most of the days with exceptions for Monday and Sunday evenings and some occasional events. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine at all times. While I do not offer boarding or in-home stays, I provide attentive dog walking services in the local area and drop-in care for cats. During walks, I ensure dogs are handled securely, follow owner instructions closely, and choose safe, familiar routes. I provide regular photo updates so owners can feel confident and informed. For cat care, I focus on maintaining a calm and respectful environment in the owner’s home, following feeding and care instructions precisely, and engaging in play or interaction only if the cat is comfortable and receptive. I always respect pets’ boundaries and aim to keep their environment stress-free and consistent with their normal routine.
About: I am loving and caring and do anything for either a dog or a cat. I have trained puppies and am great with dogs off leads. I work most days with long hours however I get most weekends off and always finish at 5pm so avaliable after office hours as well. I get 1 day off during the week, every other week as well. We have a dog bed and they are more than welcome to sit on our sofa. We have plenty of toys but they are welcome to bring theirs for comfort. We have treats as well to hand.
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, and over the past 10 years I’ve gained experience with all kinds of pets — from guinea pigs and hamsters to cats and dogs. My family currently has five dogs, so daily pet care is a big part of my life. I’ve also supported two litters of puppies, each with five little ones, which taught me a lot about patience, gentleness, and routine. I have a soft spot for French Bulldogs and understand their unique needs. I truly love being around animals and treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I work full‑time within the NHS on a three‑day schedule, which gives me four days each week dedicated to dog walking. This flexibility allows me to offer reliable availability and plenty of time for longer walks, regular exercise, and consistent routines. Whether your dog needs a calm stroll, a bit of extra energy release, or steady weekly walks, I make sure every outing is safe, enjoyable, and suited to their personality. I live in a comfortable flat just a short walk from a lovely local park, which makes it easy to give dogs plenty of outdoor time and regular walks. Inside my home, I keep a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I make sure they have a cosy space to settle, fresh water available at all times, and lots of attention throughout the day. Because the park is so close, I’m able to take dogs out frequently for exercise, toilet breaks, and playtime, which helps them stay happy and relaxed during their stay. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor the routine to each dog’s needs so they feel comfortable and well cared for in my home.

About: I have experience with a range of dog temperaments, size, age and history. My childhood dog was a timid Bichon Frise cross, who had serious doggy anxiety. A significant portion of my childhood was spent on farms, working with large cattle dogs such as Rottweilers. Additionally, my partner of 8 years has a irish wolf hound x collie rescue dog that required serious TLC when he was first bought home. He is not in the house I will be in for pet sitting. Hi, I’m Emily. I'm a history teacher at a local secondary school and enjoy a nice walk/run. Having a companion to join me never goes amiss! I'm reliable, patient and active (and also pretty good with animals). I am well organised and am able to maintain a safe and familiar environment for pets when their owners are not around through the calmness of my own space and access to controlled outside spaces. I currently live in a one bed maisonette with a connected fenced garden. We are also right next to a woodland that is excellent for walks
“Liliana took such good care of our 2 cats while we were on holiday, sending lots of photo updates and even helping us when our roof had a leak! Our 2 boys were very happy and well looked after when we came home. Will be using Liliana's services again.”

“Tracey was a wonderful and accommodating cat sitter for us! She followed all instructions for our two kitties and took loads of pictures along the way to keep us updated on how our babies were doing! ☺️ She is very communicative and flexible, would happily have her watch our kitties again!”

I highly recommend Rebecca. She was incredibly kind, reliable, and easy to reach. She sent us daily photos and kept us updated on how our cats were doing, which gave us great peace of mind. One of our cats wasn't feeling well, and she kept us informed and updated on the situation. We felt completely confident that our cats were in caring and capable hands, and we would gladly book her again.

We needed a cat sitter for our two ginger cats & found Niz's profile. It turned out to be super convenient all round as she is just a few minutes from us. She visited before we travelled, to get to know Milo & Cookie. Cookie was instantly smitten, Milo a little more cautious, but that's just his nature. Niz took wonderful care of our kitties - visiting twice a day. She sent us daily photos & videos & gave us little updates about how they were doing - how much they ate, litter tray habits, etc. She fed them, topped up their fountains, scooped the litter trays & made a big fuss of them. She even earned Milo's trust - not an easy task as he is naturally more nervous & wary of humans he doesn't know. Overall, Niz did a fantastic job, gave us huge peace of mind & we wouldn't hesitate to use her services again - highly recommended!

Ivory is a lovely cat sitter - she's kept my cats happy and made an effort to keep with their routines. She's also kept me up to date and proved to be highly reliable and I never found myself worried. Thank you for taking such good care of Hazel and Brazil who loved spending time with you!
Patricia is the BEST catsitter in Reading! This was the second time Patricia looked after our two cats, Mario and Luigi, and once again she did a fantastic job. She came daily to feed them, set automatic feeders, fill water bowls and clean litter box. Patricia always stays a little longer to provide pets and play with the cats. We received daily detailed updates and pictures, which was super helpful. We will be using Patricia’s services again and we recommend you do the same!
We couldn’t be happier with the care Chloe provided for our cat. This is our first time getting someone to look for cat but Chloe reassured that our cat will be fine. She gave us updates through the app which really put our minds at ease. Cooper seemed so relaxed and happy when we got home, which is the best sign of all! From the meet and greet to the actual sitting, we knew that Chloe clearly has a natural bond with cats. We’ll definitely be booking again!

Ching Man did an amazing job looking after my cat Heinz! She was super friendly, easy to communicate with, and clearly really cares about the pets she looks after. Heinz seemed totally relaxed and happy when I got back, which says it all. It was such a relief knowing she was in good hands. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter!

Charlotte was so lovely with our little babies! Sphynx cats can be a handful and quite needy. Not to mention not everyone is fond of them :’) but Charlotte adored them and vice versa. We love when it’s clear someone cares deeply for animals. Charlotte Gave us lots of updates and pictures everyday as well! We will 100% contact again when we need someone to watch our boy and girl x

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
