About: I’ve been around animals since I was young and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and small pets including rescue dogs, hamsters, and budgies. Over the years I’ve provided dog walking, drop-ins, overnight house sitting, and pet care for friends, family, and clients. I have also completed a pet first aid course for extra peace of mind. I’m especially patient with nervous or anxious pets, having spent the last 9 years with my rescue dog who is fearful of people, which has taught me how important calm energy, trust, and routine are. I also have experience caring for cats and understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I’ve also handled more responsible aspects of pet care when needed, including taking dogs to vet appointments during pet sits, so I’m able to stay calm, attentive, and reliable in different situations. I genuinely love animals and always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I work from home, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive pet care throughout the day, especially during longer stays. Depending on your pet’s needs and routine, I’m able to do walks in the mornings, at lunchtime, after work, and in the evenings, while also spending plenty of time with them during the day. For dog walking and drop-ins, I’m generally available on selected weekdays at lunchtime, every evening after 5pm, most weekends, and during holidays including bank holidays and Christmas. I currently provide pet care in the owner’s home, as I believe many pets feel happiest and most comfortable staying in their familiar environment and routine. I always take the time to understand each pet’s usual schedule, personality, and needs to help them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether I’m doing drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays, I aim to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and consistency. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos for extra peace of mind.

About: A dog loving hooman who just can't get enough of the little rascals. A dog photographer recently moved from Anglesey to Berkshire with experience in owning my own dogs from Mastiffs to Doberman, and mostly rescues. Some absolute terrors in need of full time affection and training. I enjoy looking after dogs and learning about the personalities of each breed. I have gone through extensive (and very expensive) dog behaviousral training for previous rescue dogs over the years and spend a lot of time leanring about training techniques through well known online trainers. I find the different techniques interesting from trainer to trainer and enjoy training dogs as directed by owners. I'm happy walking an absolute nightmare large breed (ahem Doberman) to doing tricks with a well trained Collie off the lead. Always following the rules set by the owner. I have three dog loving children, age 5-11, who all want a dog, so also enjoy the walks, training and cuddles offered. They are well versed in approaching dogs carefully and not overcrowding etc. If you need a good friendly, safe location for you dog then give me a shout. We also have a fantastic woodland at the rear of the house, perfect for short or long walks without needing to drive to a dog park. Also have a good sized garden with 6ft fence perimeter set on a private housing estate. I am a photographer and due to recently moving to the area, don;t have too much of a busy schedule. I also work from home most of the time. So, I am generally at home Mon-Fri. As mentioned, I have a fab walking area nearby, a good sized garden, and I can follow guidelines set by the owner. Crating, leaving alone, short walks/long walks, whatever you require.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 16 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I have my own dog of 7 years and a sweet 16-year-old cat, so I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Alongside caring for my own pets, I’ve looked after a wide variety of animals for friends, family, and clients through Rover—ranging from playful Chihuahuas to energetic Staffys, and everything in between! I’ve gained valuable experience looking after multiple pets at a time and have received excellent reviews for my reliable, friendly, and caring approach. Animals genuinely bring me joy, and I’m dedicated to making every pet feel safe, happy, and loved in my care. I treat every pet as if they are my own. I work full-time Monday to Friday in Basingstoke and live in Newbury, with occasional days in Reading, so I can cover a wide area for pet care. I’m mainly available for weekend stays and evening visits during the week for feeding, playtime, and cuddles. For weekday stays, I’m out between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM (dependant on the location) but your pets will always get plenty of love before and after! I also offer dog walks in the Basingstoke area on weekdays, as that’s where I work (9:30–5:30). I do my best to follow each pet’s routine and keep things as comfortable and consistent as possible! Your pets safety will always be my top priority. At home, my own cat is kept safe with a magnetic tag cat flap that only opens for her, and our garden is fully fenced to prevent any escapes. After discovering gap under the bush where animals could slip through to the neighbours, we quickly secured it with chicken wire - problem solved! I believe in creating a calm and secure environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow consistent routines, maintain a healthy diet for my own pets, and always use positive reinforcement - praise and the occasional treat - for good behaviour. You can trust that your furry friend will be in a safe and loving space while you are away.

About: I’m a caring, outdoorsy sitter who loves long walks and quiet evenings with furry company. I grew up in rural Hampshire with a mischievous Dalmatian, so I’m confident with energetic dogs and understand how to balance fun with calm. My home is peaceful, clutter-free, and has no stairs — perfect for senior dogs or those who prefer an easy space to relax. I’m experienced in keeping to routines and giving dogs the gentle structure they thrive on. Whether it’s puppy playtime, long countryside walks, or relaxed company, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home. I currently work as a full-time teacher so I’m not able to have my own pet, but I’m available from 5pm on Friday afternoons until late Sunday evenings. I am also available all day during independent school holidays, so please enquire for these dates. Safety and comfort always come first. My home is calm, secure, and on the ground floor — perfect for pets who like a peaceful space or prefer to avoid stairs. There’s plenty of room for them to relax, with quiet corners to retreat to and a big sofa that’s always open for cuddles! Right outside my front door is a large field that’s perfect for regular walks and playtime. I also have a car, so I can take dogs to beautiful nearby rural spots for longer adventures in nature. I keep routines consistent, give pets plenty of attention, and make sure they always feel safe, settled, and loved — whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own home.

About: Have always loved animals, especially dogs & cats. Currently have 2 cats Dougie & Willow and a Dog called Dillon, who I rescued from Cyprus when he was 4 months old. He had been dumped in a box on the side of a road 😔 But he is now spoilt rotten and is my little buddy who I love dearly. I also rescued a dog before Dillon and he was reactive to other dogs so quite challenging. But still adorable. So have experience with reactive dogs too. Currently only working 1 day a week for now. So have lots of flexibility to do dog walks to fit in and around what is needed. Have a well enclose garden. Very safe and secure. Live in a lovely area with lots of lovely walks round and about. And parks and fields.

About: As well as owning my own two dogs for seven years, for three years aboard, I worked in local dog pounds. I have helped care for and trained numerous different dogs. I have trained them with the basics such as sit, wait, and down, I have also helped them with anxiety issues, social issues, and learning to trust humans again. During this time, I also fostered 10+ dogs, from tiny puppies to dogs that were 5 or 6 years old, with health issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spending time with these dogs, nurturing them and showing them what a loving environment is about. I currently work part time and am able to fit in pet visits and walking Mon - Fri 9.30 -14.30 dog walking. I am also available every other weekend as well. I can easily crate your dog if they have anxiety issues and require a safe space. I am respectful of a dog / cat in their home environment and any rules you have for your home I will adhere to and respect. If you require muddy paws wiped before entry, a groom before bed, biscuits laid out before I leave them please let me know.

About: I've had pets all my life. Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and cats as a child. As an adult I've owned a house rabbit, 2 cats and currently have a dog and a cat. One of my cats sadly passed away with Feline Cystitis and he needed lots of medications. One of my dogs has allergies and sometimes needs medications for this. I'm a qualified nurse, who is comfortable with looking after unwell pets. I am currently on maternity leave. I am at home full time until November 2026. So I am available frequently. I may need to bring my daughter with me for some visits, but this would be discussed beforehand. I have a 6ft fence around the garden. Dogs are very much welcome on the sofa to be comfortable. I live near a huge woods and lots of lovely dog walks.

About: I’m a kind hearted, well Grounded person. I love to explore and be outside. Living next to the woods has given me the chance to go on adventures with my spaniel Bolly, and her other doggy friends. I have always been fond of the idea of having my own kennels or boarding home for dogs as I see dogs as a way to bring happiness into a home. It is just my mum and I in the house so it’s quite quiet. And living with such an amazing space for dogs to run around and play in seems like such a waste. We have a generous back garden with a woods for walks and a park just up the road. We also have plenty of sleeping space for large dogs and small. So I have wxperience training dogs also. It can be a real task for those who work full time, and that is something I would be happy to help with. For those that do work a regular 9-5 job, I am happy to pop in and make sure everything is okay and take your pooch out for a stroll. Pet care is my primary focus so I am available 24/7 with the exception of some weekends and planned trips of course. Always open to amending my timetable where necessary I have a large enclosed garden that backs off to the woods - these are at our disposal which is fabulous. We also have an enclosed dog run for feeding etc.

About: West Berkshire (bordering with Hampshire) based dog & cat lover. Available for walks, drop ins, feeding, vet visits, for cats & dogs. Mature and sensible, a lot of experience with canines and felines. Experience of reactive dogs, and strong enough to look after any dog breed. Enhanced DBS checked. Please note: do request a Meet and Greet to get to know one another, free of charge. I know what it's like to need good care for pets over hols, or in an emergency. Full attention, proper exercise, playtime, with photos provided. For benefit of your and other pets, I do respectfully require that pets are wormed, flea-ed, with protection against Ticks, there are a lot of forests in this area. I also recommend Kennel Cough for their best health. This isn’t a pet business but part of my life in the countryside with a genuine love for animals and their care. Thank you. I set my own hours based around dog walks. Very rarely leave a dog alone, if at all. And allow plenty of playtime and of course walks. I live in the forest with miles of rural walks on the doorstep. It is idyllic. Next to Crookham & Greenham Common where there's about 9 miles of different walks! What I like best is that you can pick a walk that suits the dog, whether sociable or reactive, as there's a lot of choice of paths to take as suited.
