About: I have grown up with dogs and other pets since I was a baby. I am a lover of all animals and regularly cat sit and dog sit for family members, including Lucky a 1.5 year old poodle mix who is full of energy. I also own 2 cats of my own. Growing up I had a Westie and a chocolate Labrador. I work from home so I can stay with your pet within your home during the week. As I have two cats of my own I cannot stay overnight unless located close to Reading town centre. I cannot drive so you will need to be located within walking distance of Reading town centre or easily accessed via public transport. I am happy to look after your pet in your own home as well as take them out for local walks and play with them as required.

About: I treat every dog as if they were my own — learning their quirks, favourites routes, and cuddle preferences. It’s not just a walk; it’s a friendship. I currently wfh two days a week usually Monday and Friday but quite flexible. I’m always free at weekends and Christmas time this year too When caring for pets — whether in my home or the owner’s — I make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priorities. In a pet owner’s home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walk schedules to how they like to play or relax. I take time to build trust with each animal, especially those who are shy or anxious, and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know their pet is happy and safe. When pets stay with me, I create a calm, comfortable environment where they can feel at home. They have plenty of space to play, nap, and get cuddles. I make sure walks, meals, and rest times match their usual rhythm, and I never leave them unattended for long periods. Whether it’s a quick walk or overnight care, my goal is always the same — to give pets love, stability, and attention so they feel secure and content while their owners are away.

I was really happy with the care provided by Cathy for Daisy. She is a difficult dog at times and very lively, but Cathy completely understood her and listened to all the info. Daisy came back looking really happy from her walk which I was very pleased with, and was a much calmer dog for the rest of the day!

About: I recently returned to the UK from the United States and grew up in Denmark, where I was surrounded by animals from an early age. I was also an avid horse rider, which gave me valuable experience caring for and understanding animals of all sizes. I have worked as a full-time professional pet-sitter in the US and have rescued and rehabilitated cats, helping them regain their confidence and health through patient, compassionate care. As a parent who has raised three children, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust that your beloved pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I love walking in nature and enjoy getting to know the unique personality of every pet I care for. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a shy cat who needs a calm, gentle approach, I adapt my care to suit each animal’s individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, companionship, and personalized care. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. I have experience working with pets of all ages and have worked with senior pets needing extra care and attention. I’m currently available during the day time hours and I will accommodate your pet’s schedule. My hours are flexible in the day time hours. I will follow your instructions for pet sitting closely and make sure your pet feels very comfortable in my company. I will always be attentive and get a sense of what your pet needs to make sure all their needs are met at any given time.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, and over the past 10 years I’ve gained experience with all kinds of pets — from guinea pigs and hamsters to cats and dogs. My family currently has five dogs, so daily pet care is a big part of my life. I’ve also supported two litters of puppies, each with five little ones, which taught me a lot about patience, gentleness, and routine. I have a soft spot for French Bulldogs and understand their unique needs. I truly love being around animals and treat every pet with the same care and attention I give my own. I work full‑time within the NHS on a three‑day schedule, which gives me four days each week dedicated to dog walking. This flexibility allows me to offer reliable availability and plenty of time for longer walks, regular exercise, and consistent routines. Whether your dog needs a calm stroll, a bit of extra energy release, or steady weekly walks, I make sure every outing is safe, enjoyable, and suited to their personality. I live in a comfortable flat just a short walk from a lovely local park, which makes it easy to give dogs plenty of outdoor time and regular walks. Inside my home, I keep a calm, clean, and safe environment where pets can relax and feel secure. I make sure they have a cosy space to settle, fresh water available at all times, and lots of attention throughout the day. Because the park is so close, I’m able to take dogs out frequently for exercise, toilet breaks, and playtime, which helps them stay happy and relaxed during their stay. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or a more energetic walk, I tailor the routine to each dog’s needs so they feel comfortable and well cared for in my home.

About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 7, 11 & 13 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!

About: Hi, I’m Laura 👋🏻 - your seasoned pet sitter and I’m thrilled to offer a warm and personalised experience for you fur baby! A little bit about me...I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I used to look after my nan's puppies every day after school. At my parents' house we've had a cat for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience looking after cats too.  My first graduate job was working in frundraising at Guide Dogs. We had a dog friendly office as well as a training center on site, so I was surrounded by pups on a daily basis and learnt vital skills about their care and behaviour.  I'm experienced and confident around dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes. 😊 I have a lot of experience looking after puppies, rescues and senior pets. As I work remotely, I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'm available to take care of your pets most weekdays/weekends. I'm offering doggy daycare at my home, dog walking (30mins+), house visits and house sitting services at your home. I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays. I can host dogs in my flat, which is right in front of a lovely park, or provide care in their own home where they feel most at ease. Wherever they stay, I’ll make sure they get the same love, attention, and routine they’re used to — with plenty of updates for you too!

About: I attended the University of Plymouth studying Conservation Biology and qualified from Moreton Morrell College with a Distinction. It has given me experience and knowledge about handling and caring for a range of animals, including rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, and others. I am passionate about working with animals which led me to my university degree which has expanded my knowledge further about animal behaviour, welfare, and management. I have been walking dogs where I grew up for 6 years and for neighbours and friends and now I would love to do this professionally and with a range of dogs who would love playing and exercise. I volunteered at the Dog’s Trust in Kenilworth for around 2 years as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award as well as volunteering at the RSPCA for over a year. At the Dog’s Trust and RSPCA I had many roles, from cleaning kennels to food preparation to walking and socialising with the dogs in my job at the Kennels I cleaned kennels, walked the dogs as well as cleaning the cattery, and socialising with the cats. I am patient, shown as I have plenty of experience working with children and customers. I am organised and have good timekeeping so will be reliable to walk and take care of your dog when you need it. Thank you for your consideration. I mostly work weekends and some evenings. I will have plenty of time for your pet for their needs, to play with them, give them breaks and have a fun time while they are with me. Amelie is a dedicated, extremely organised dog walker with a caring sensitivity to dogs of all sizes. She set up a pre-walk meet to put me and my hounds ant ease and noted all the personal needs of each of my large (30kg each) Labradoodles. This put me at ease too, as I had not left my dogs before with anyone. She was easily contactable, fast to respond and had excellent time keeping. I would highly recommend Amelie’s dog walking/ sitting services to anyone and will look to book her again.
