About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 7, 11 & 13 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!

About: Since day dot, I have always been fascinated with the natural world and all the creatures in it. From a tiny flea to a humpback whale, each creature has its place in the ecosystem. I grew up watching my hero David Attenborough who to this day still educates me about everything wild and how we need to help save the Earth. Animals have always been my lifeblood, having vast amounts of pets over the years, to creating a mini ecosystem in my garden. Each animal I hold in high regard and love each and every one of them. I have worked for the last 20 years with disadvantaged children in social care and in schools but this wasn't always my passion. My passion has always been with animals. I have just started venturing into the world of dog boarding, having looked after my friends Chug for extended periods for approximately 3 years. I also home boarded my brother's 2 cockapoo's and golden retriever and I have since gained further experience home boarding a friend of a friends pair of Chugs. Each dog is treated as if they were family, I want to recreate a home from home experience for every dog in my care including daily walks, sleeping in my bed (if customers are happy for this to take place) brushing, playtime and lots of love and affection. In time i'm looking to gain qualifications in dog care/boarding and well as in dog training. I already have my own pets, and have had numerous small animals in my lifetime including budgies, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and my most favourite pet of all... rats. I currently have 12 pet rats who are super affectionate, highly intelligent and just all round beautiful! I've owned rats for 19 years and I don't think i'll ever not own them. I also have 3 cats. The first Sula is our more timid cat. The 2nd cat Flopsy had 4 kittens during covid (due to neutering being unavailable) which was a beautiful experience to support during the birth and I extensively researched the needs and dietary requirements ensuring they had a healthy start in life before I found exceptional homes for them. Our 3rd cat Henry is a fairly recent addition to the family, having adopted him from an elderly neighbour who could no longer care for him. All three cats were warey of dogs and are now beginning to accept them. They are all outdoor cats and I plan on building them a shelving/sleeping area at the top of my staircase to give them a natural environment indoors. Every animal deserves love, care and affection, they will certainly have that with me! I’d be delighted to meet you and your dog beforehand and spend some time getting to know you both, ensuring I’m the right match for your dog’s needs. I also hold an Enhanced DBS check for added reassurance. I currently work full time, term time in a local school. I have lots of free time over the school holidays and also most weekends. I can offer any hours/overnights you require during this time. I have a long fenced off back garden, access to a field over the back of my house and I am also situated within walking distance to a large grass/wooded area called Prospect Park. I have previously, (with the dog owners consent) taken their dog to the beach with my family. Wherever me and my family go, the dog will come with us, whether that's for dinner, shopping or any other recreation purposes that allow dogs. All activities we do as a family, when we have a dog in my care, will never be excluded or left on their own. I will follow any instructions given by you, including feeding, medication, brushing teeth, walking or any other routines you have for your beloved dog. I own a 3 bedroom house and have 3 children of my own and my partner has two. They vary in age from 4 to 17. Our children are not always at home and spend equal amounts of time with their other parent. All our children are besotted with animals and treat them with the love and respect they deserve.
“Ava and her partner did amazing job to walk Sandi. It is not easy to walk Sandi as he is still a puppy. They are very patient and thoughtful and I can tell Sandi had great time with them!”

“Liliana has been incredible with our girl Nala. She walked her for us first time aug/sept 2023. We chose to go for her again as Nala really seemed to enjoy the walks and trusted her from the start.. Liliana also went above and beyond, even going over the allocated time which was so nice of her. Very reliable and punctual ☺️ will definitely choose her again 🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Laura 👋🏻 - your seasoned pet sitter and I’m thrilled to offer a warm and personalised experience for you fur baby! A little bit about me...I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I used to look after my nan's puppies every day after school. At my parents' house we've had a cat for as long as I can remember, so I've got plenty of experience looking after cats too. My first graduate job was working in frundraising at Guide Dogs. We had a dog friendly office as well as a training center on site, so I was surrounded by pups on a daily basis and learnt vital skills about their care and behaviour. I'm experienced and confident around dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes and sizes. 😊 I have a lot of experience looking after puppies, rescues and senior pets. As I work remotely, I have a pretty flexible schedule and I'm available to take care of your pets most weekdays/weekends. I'm offering doggy daycare at my home, dog walking (30mins+), house visits and house sitting services at your home. I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays. I can host dogs in my flat, which is right in front of a lovely park, or provide care in their own home where they feel most at ease. Wherever they stay, I’ll make sure they get the same love, attention, and routine they’re used to — with plenty of updates for you too!
About: I treat every dog as if they were my own — learning their quirks, favourites routes, and cuddle preferences. It’s not just a walk; it’s a friendship. I currently wfh two days a week usually Monday and Friday but quite flexible. I’m always free at weekends and Christmas time this year too When caring for pets — whether in my home or the owner’s — I make their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priorities. In a pet owner’s home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible — from feeding times and walk schedules to how they like to play or relax. I take time to build trust with each animal, especially those who are shy or anxious, and keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know their pet is happy and safe. When pets stay with me, I create a calm, comfortable environment where they can feel at home. They have plenty of space to play, nap, and get cuddles. I make sure walks, meals, and rest times match their usual rhythm, and I never leave them unattended for long periods. Whether it’s a quick walk or overnight care, my goal is always the same — to give pets love, stability, and attention so they feel secure and content while their owners are away.
About: I have grown up with dogs and other pets since I was a baby. As I have two cats of my own I cannot stay overnight unless located close to Reading town centre. I cannot drive so you will need to be located within walking distance of Reading town centre or easily accessed via public transport. I am happy to look after your pet in your own home as well as take them out for local walks and play with them as required.

“Laura has made my first experience with Rover a great One! Before I booked her for our dog’s first overnight stay with someone outside the family, we met up and had a walk together. Laura gives a very calm and confident impression. After our walk I scheduled a “dog walk” with Pepper, and she came back, happy and tired ( I mean the dog)”

About: I recently returned to the UK from the United States and grew up in Denmark, where I was surrounded by animals from an early age. I was also an avid horse rider, which gave me valuable experience caring for and understanding animals of all sizes. As a parent who has raised three children, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust that your beloved pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I love walking in nature and enjoy getting to know the unique personality of every pet I care for. Whether it’s an energetic dog who loves long walks or a shy cat who needs a calm, gentle approach, I adapt my care to suit each animal’s individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of love, exercise, companionship, and personalized care. My goal is to give both you and your pets peace of mind, knowing they’re in caring, capable hands. I’m available to provide dog walking and pet sitting services between 6am to 3pm every day. I’m currently available all day and I will accommodate your pet’s schedule. I will follow your instructions for pet sitting and dog walking closely. I will make sure your pet feels very comfortable in my company. I will always connect with your pet and make sure all their needs are met.

I’m confident and comfortable with pets of all temperaments and stay calm in new or unexpected situations. I also have an academic background in biology, which helps me better understand animal behaviour and body language. I always respect each pet’s boundaries, carefully follow owners’ instructions, and keep up to date with best practices in pet care to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a contract part-time job and have plenty of free time. I am free most of the days with exceptions for Monday and Sunday evenings and some occasional events. I prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine at all times. While I do not offer boarding or in-home stays, I provide attentive dog walking services in the local area and drop-in care for cats. During walks, I ensure dogs are handled securely, follow owner instructions closely, and choose safe, familiar routes. I provide regular photo updates so owners can feel confident and informed. For cat care, I focus on maintaining a calm and respectful environment in the owner’s home, following feeding and care instructions precisely, and engaging in play or interaction only if the cat is comfortable and receptive. About: I am a lifelong dog lover with over 10 years of personal experience raising and caring for my own dogs—a loyal Mixed Breed and an energetic Husky. I proudly cared for them through every stage of their lives until they reached the senior ages of 13 and 14. Having raised a Husky, I am well-accustomed to handling high-energy breeds that require firm guidance and plenty of exercise. Conversely, my experience with my senior dogs has given me the patience and gentleness needed for older pets who may require a slower pace or extra attention. I understand that your dog is a family member. I am committed to providing a safe, fun, and reliable walking experience tailored to your dog’s unique personality and energy levels. Whether it's a vigorous hike or a gentle stroll, your furry friend will be in safe hands. As a full-time Designer, I find spending time with dogs to be the perfect way to de-stress after a creative day. My schedule is very consistent: I am available for walks every morning before 9 AM and every evening after 5 PM. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and can offer longer walks or more frequent visits. Because I see dog walking as a joy rather than just work, your pet will receive my full attention and enthusiasm during our time together. Safety is my top priority. Drawing from my 10+ years of experience with my own Husky and Mixed Breed, I am highly vigilant about surroundings and leash safety. I understand how to handle large, energetic dogs as well as the gentle needs of seniors. I will strictly follow your instructions regarding on-lead or off-lead walking and any specific dietary or behavioral requirements. I promise to treat your dog with the same love, patience, and responsibility as I did with my own beloved pets for over a decade.
“I had to book a walker as I was feeling unwell. Luckily we found Ella. Ella was amazing - Milo is typically nervous but he did not hesistate to run out the door to go on a walk with her! I was kept constantly updated throughout the walk. I would not hesitate to recommend Ella to others! Thank you again.”

Amelie is a dedicated, extremely organised dog walker with a caring sensitivity to dogs of all sizes. She set up a pre-walk meet to put me and my hounds ant ease and noted all the personal needs of each of my large (30kg each) Labradoodles. This put me at ease too, as I had not left my dogs before with anyone. She was easily contactable, fast to respond and had excellent time keeping. I would highly recommend Amelie’s dog walking/ sitting services to anyone and will look to book her again.

Philippa was wonderful with Olly. She walked him three times and he clearly had a great time with her. Communication was easy and everything went smoothly from start to finish. It was reassuring to know Olly was in such caring and capable hands. I would happily book Philippa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and kind to look after their dog.

Julia was amazing with our dog Teddy! We had a last minute request for a dog walk and she was able to support us and was so responsive along the process. We’ve never had a dog walker before and she was so communicative and sent a lot of updates and photos and videos which reassured us so much. I can’t recommend Julia enough. Thank you so much Julia for your help, we will definitely be booking you in again, Teddy clearly loved you! ☺️
