About: I grew up with family dogs and, for the past two years, have been raising and training my own Shiba Inu. Through this experience, I have developed a strong understanding of dog behaviour, positive reinforcement training, establishing routines, and providing consistent care. Owning a Shiba Inu has also taught me the importance of patience, clear communication, and adapting to each dog’s unique personality. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work from home every Friday and am also available on some Tuesdays and Thursdays, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care throughout the day. My workload is generally manageable, so I can spend quality time with your dog, including playtime, companionship, and regular walks during breaks. I’m also available most weekends, allowing me to dedicate even more time to your pet’s care and ensure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Whether caring for pets in my home or in their owner’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I take the time to learn about each pet’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, favourite activities, and any special instructions. I have a friendly Shiba Inu who loves meeting and playing with other dogs. For social dogs, this can provide an excellent opportunity for companionship and playtime throughout the day. Of course, I always introduce dogs carefully and make sure they are comfortable with one another. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, walks, and enrichment, while also ensuring pets have a safe and comfortable space to relax. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident while they’re away, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. My goal is for every pet to feel happy, secure, and part of the family while in my care.

About: I’ve been always a dog lover and taking care of my home dog, recently adopted Luka who is now 13 months! I’ve got experience with reactive dogs and can be both walked or staying only with me or with another fur friend! I work on a shift pattern so availability usually will be: Week 1: Thursday and Friday all day Week 2: Saturday and Sunday all day I can be flexible if asked in advance I’ll be taking care of the dogs at my house as I’ve got plenty of room and is adapted for them! Also I live in a residential neighbourhood with a decent park within 5 minutes walking. Is ideal as I calm and quiet Around 30 minutes walking through river pathway to Reading Town

About: I’ve taken care of my own pets, my family members, friends and neighbours. I had my own big dog and so I know what it takes to take care of dogs. I am able to walk the dog frequently and for various lengths. I am happy to take care of dogs who might need some special treatment! I study mostly at home so I am able to be flexible with my hours. I already take about 4 walks a day so adding a furry buddy to it is no problem. I like walking in large fields which would provide the pet a lot of space to roam around. My dog lived with me in an apartment and then we moved to a house with a garden so that he can enjoy more of the earth and fresh air. I walk my dogs every 4 hours or more often if needed! I usually feed my dog once in the morning and once at night unless he has special dietary requirements when sick.

About: Im currently getting everything set up and will be available for dog sitting from the 20th of September. I’m a university student so I have lots of free time. I live next to Palmer Park and do my daily walks there anyway! I get my fitness in and to be accompanied by a dog would be lovely. I have a car so I am able to get to homes and take the dogs for walks. I have grown up with my grandparents dogs and my friends dogs have experienced many cuddles, dog walks, dog feeds and nap times. I love learning new tricks for the dogs and making them happy. I have a flexible schedule, I study part time at Reading university so I am always free in the evenings, weekends and around my lessons in the morning and afternoon. I will make sure your dog gets the same amount of fork as usual and make them feel really at home. Hopefully keep them to their usual routine.

About: I’ve been looking after dogs as far as a child, any breeds from sausage dolls to frenchies. I have a soft spot for them and treat them like my own. I love walking and hiking and I’m very active Pet care fits well into my daily schedule because I have a flexible routine and can make time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I’m active and enjoy being outdoors, so dog walks fit naturally into my day. I also enjoy spending quiet time with cats, whether that’s playing with them, keeping them company, or giving them plenty of cuddles and affection. About: Growing up my parents looked after dogs. I would help look after a variety of different breeds and got to know how their different personalities. I recently got my own flat in Reading town centre, want to start looking after dogs myself! I offer both boarding as well as dog walking services. Although I might be new to this, I am very experienced and passionate about furry friends. I find comfort in it and want the dog to leave having had an amazing experience. A home away from home! Because I love my neighbourhood, I take the dog/dogs out at least 3 times a day. We play games, go on adventures and always have lots of fun plans for them. We love exploring the nearby parks! I live in a spacious 1 bedroom flat. I will always leave dog pads down and take them out regularly incase they need the toilet. Sharps and harmful items for dogs are always kept away, dog is free to sleep on the sofa, their own bed, or my bed if that make them feel safe and secure!

About: Since birth I have always lived with pets. Fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs. From an early age I helped out with an elderly gentleman neighbour who walked dogs for cinnamon trust, I went on to volunteer at events to raise money for the charity. I rescued my 2 year old Jack Russell x English bull terrier and had her until the ripe age of 18. Since then I've always had pets and currently have a fun, playful cockapoo. I am very used to caring and training puppies as well as looking after dogs in their senior years. I understand the nature of dogs, when they need feeding, exercise. I've cared for dogs with extra needs, for example medications or hip issues requiring further assistance/lifting etc. I'm currently working part time from home. I have 3 boys age 7, 11 & 13 who are all huge animal lovers and brilliant at helping out. I am at home during the day, I take my own dog out for a long walk to the park and she gets an afternoon or evening walk. She has constant access to our fenced garden. The weekends we take trips to country parks so the dogs get to explore different places but I am completely flexible and adaptable to the dogs needs. Pets staying with me experience a home from home stay and are fully welcomed into our home and family life. They'd be treated as if they were one of our own!

I'm comfortable with staying for longer periods of time and looking after the house too, including holidays.
