“Yevheniia looked after Bobby for 9 nights. She did a great job right from the beginning by helping Bobby to ease in quickly, taking him for 2 walks a day, clearly fed him very well since Bobby came back heavier lol. Yevheniia kept updating us for Bobby’s day while we were away which was really nice. Bobby also made friends with her little Yorkie. Everything went smoothly and we are very happy with Yevheniia’s service. Will book her again for sure.”

“We left Rolex at Craig’s for our holidays and he was looked after superbly. Rolex is just 4 months old so we were an axions bunch but Craig and his wife put as at ease quickly with regular updates and fun photos ! Plus Rolex enjoyed the company of their little doggy ;-) Craig was also flexible with pick up’s and drop off’s which proved quite helpful . Very easy to deal with and overall a pleasant experience , we would definitely be going back ahead of our next holidays”

“Amanda, Trevor, and their family took exceptional care of our two dogs. They were communicative, kind, and very attentive to our pups throughout the two-week stay. Our large dogs each have their quirks, and it's clear that Amanda and Trevor are both very knowledgeable and compassionate in the way they cared for them. Any pup would be lucky to stay with them!”

“Very friendly hosts! Sid the resident dog also friendly and sociable! Well equipped for pampered pooches. Also hosts very accommodating for me last minute extending stay! Will be back….”

“Shubham and Devika were great. My boy Rio enjoyed a lot with them. Given that he is a high-energy dog, Shubham made sure that his energy was well spent. A big thanks to him for letting Rio play woth their collection of plushies. Rio came back as happy, tired dog, witha big smile on his face. Would definitely recommend Shubham. :)”

“These guys are great and we will be definitely be using them again. They were always in touch and sending us pics and videos of our dog whilst he was with them. Our dog had a lovely time and was very happy.”

About: Hi, I am Aakanksha (and Akshay! 😊), proud parents to a 5-year-old Golden Retriever, RIO, who is basically a big bundle of energy, curiosity and cheekiness! 🐶 Having a high-energy dog myself, I know that every dog comes with their own little personality, habits and funny quirks. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs over the years, from tiny pups to big breeds, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Having a large dog of my own means I’m confident handling bigger dogs too — whether it’s managing their excitement on walks, keeping them entertained, or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable. To me, dogs are babies, and I always treat them with love and care. I absolutely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company. I’m also happy to look after puppies and understand that they need a little extra patience, supervision and care while they’re learning and exploring the world. Rio has taught me that dogs aren’t just pets — they’re family. So when your furry friend is with me, I’ll treat them with the same love, patience and care that I’d want someone to give Rio. Expect plenty of walks, cuddles, playtime and maybe a few funny dog stories along the way! 🐾 Since I work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m around most of the day, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, company and care rather than being left alone for long periods. My partner also mostly works from home and is a big dog lover, so there’s usually someone around to give extra cuddles, playtime and attention. We both genuinely enjoy having dogs around and love the joy and energy they bring into the home. My own dog Rio has a routine of walks, playtime, meals and lots of interaction, so I’m already used to building my day around a dog’s needs. I enjoy taking breaks for walks, play sessions and giving dogs the attention they need throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — whether that’s regular walks, feeding schedules, puppy breaks, or simply having someone around for company. My aim is to make your furry friend feel safe, comfortable and at home while they’re with me. 🐾 I’m happy to offer care both in my own home and in the pet owner’s home, depending on what works best for the dog and their family. At my home, I live in a house with a garden, giving dogs a comfortable space to relax, play and enjoy some outdoor time. I’ll make sure they feel at home, with plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles. Since I’m a dog mum to Rio, my 5-year-old Golden Retriever, I’m already used to having a dog as part of my daily life and understand the importance of keeping a consistent routine. For boarding, I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual habits — including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any little things that help them feel settled. I know every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and what makes them comfortable. If caring for your dog in your home, I’ll make sure they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment while keeping their routine as normal as possible. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m looking after them in their own home, my priority is always the same — making sure they feel loved, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾
“Prerna did a great job looking after Tony for the weekend, keeping him cool in this warm weather - early/late walks and keeping us updated on how he was getting on. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Bramble was obviously very happy staying with Nathalia. Nathalia sent me photos of Bramble playing and sleeping contentedly on the sofa! I would not hesitate to leave Bramble with Nathalia again”

“Bowser was looked after extremely well by Claire and her girls. All communications ahead of his stay were great and I had no concerns despite this being his first time away from us. I wouldn’t hesitate leaving him under her supervision for any future stays”

“Diana made Mr P feel like a part of their family right from the first meeting. Their confidence and experience with dogs was evident and reassuring. He had a wonderful holiday and made a new dog bestie - just as we hoped he would. We'll certainly be looking to book again for our future trips. Thank you so much!”

“Zhongqi was very accommodating when we had a last-minute need for someone to look after Koopa. She took great care of him, and Koopa seemed to really enjoy Ube’s company too. We’d happily book with Zhongqi again!”

“I had to take a last minute trip up north so contacted Joanna to see if they’d be happy to look after Oscar. He was provided the most amazing care, and was SO excited when we got to the front door (a clear sign he loved his previous stay) 😅. Such a lovely family who will look after your dog as if they were their own. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you so much!!!!! 🐾”

“I only left Elliot with Eleanor for one night, as a trial, before I leave him for a longer stay. He looked immediately at home when I left him and was the image of a happy dog when I came to pick him up the next day.”
“I'm so glad to share that I had a wonderful experience with Charlotte and her partner while my dog, Oli, was boarded with them! They took such great care of him, and I loved getting regular updates and photos while we were away. It really brought me peace of mind. I’m definitely planning to use their services again in the future!”

To ensure a safe, harmonious environment for all our guests, we follow Wokingham Council guidelines to ensure a perfect match: * Free Meet & Greet: You and your pup come over to visit us and Marvel, explore our garden, and chat through your dog's exact routine, diet, and quirks. * Comfort Trial Night: We arrange a quick 1-night trial stay to ensure your dog feels completely relaxed, safe, and happy sleeping in our home before your main booking. * Your Holiday Secured! You can travel with total peace of mind, knowing your dog is in a fully legal, safe, and loving environment. (Please note: To keep all our guests safe, we cannot accept entire/unneutered dogs, unvaccinated pets, or breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act). When dogs are staying with us, they are very much part of our daily life and are never left for long periods. Marvel and I love getting out for walks in the local woods, enjoying playtime in the garden, and then winding down at home with plenty of cuddles on the sofa. We also include enrichment activities throughout the day to keep dogs mentally stimulated and happy. This can include interactive toys, gentle games, scent activities, and opportunities to explore and play, depending on each dog’s personality and energy levels. My routine allows me to offer a calm and caring environment, where each dog receives the attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection they need to feel happy, settled, and well looked after. Your dog’s happiness, safety, and comfort are at the heart of everything we do. We want every dog to feel relaxed, secure, and truly at home from the moment they arrive. Our home provides a safe and welcoming environment, with a fully enclosed garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air, play, and explore freely. Inside, the space is calm, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of cosy spots to relax and settle in. We take the time to get to know each dog properly before their stay through a meet and greet. This helps us understand their personality, routine, and needs, and ensures they feel comfortable in our home. Introductions with other dogs, including Marvel, are always done gently and at the dog’s pace to keep everything calm and positive. We know how important trust is when leaving your dog with someone else. That’s why we follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding, walks, or quiet time—so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. We are always attentive, present, and focused on making sure every dog feels safe and cared for. We also keep you updated during your dog’s stay with regular messages and photos, so you can see how they are settling in and enjoying their time with us. This gives you peace of mind and helps you feel connected while you’re away. With our friendly and well-balanced dog, Marvel, we create a relaxed environment where dogs can play if they wish or simply enjoy their own space. Every dog is treated as part of the family, with plenty of care, attention, and affection. Our aim is simple—to provide a safe, loving, home-from-home environment where you can feel completely confident leaving your dog in our care.

About: Hi there! We are Ana and Carlos, the proud tutors of Kimera, a 10-year-old dog that we have raised and loved ever since she was a 2-month-old puppy. We have grown up with dogs at home, and over the years, we’ve had the privilege of pet-sitting for friends and family across three different countries. Because we have a senior dog, we are completely comfortable administering daily medications, giving supplements, and tailoring routines and exercises to match your dog's energy and comfort level. Every dog we host is family. We tailor our care to your pup's unique personality and look forward to welcoming them into our home! Pet care is our daily routine! Since we already manage a regular schedule of meals, meds, and walks for our dog, hosting another pup fits right into our daily rhythm. I work from home, and Carlos does home office 3 days a week, so your dog will have plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. We usually take two walks a day, one early in the morning and then after the sun goes down due to the warm weather. Our favorite spots are Palmer Park and the region near the River Thames, where there’s plenty of space to play, though we also take short strolls around the neighborhood. Our home features a fully fenced garden, perfect for fresh air, playtime, relaxation, and potty breaks. Because the garden is accessed via stairs, we accompany dogs outside on demand rather than keeping the door open, ensuring they are always safe and supervised. Indoors, guest dogs are welcome on the furniture, and we have ramps set up throughout the house to keep jump-free access safe and easy for senior dogs or smaller breeds! Before any stay, we ask for a quick Meet & Greet at a local park so our dogs can say hello on neutral ground, ensuring a happy match for everyone!

Charlotte and Leigh are the perfect sitters! They took care of my small dog, Rosie, in a way that eased all of my worries and I knew she was in the best hands. They were easy to communicate with and flexible when we needed it. Rosie had a great time and I would recommend anyone to use Charlotte for their dogsitting needs.

We left Rolex at Craig’s for our holidays and he was looked after superbly. Very easy to deal with and overall a pleasant experience , we would definitely be going back ahead of our next holidays

Luna had a lovely time with Caroline, lots of walks and she got to meet and stay with other dogs in a home from home. Caroline kept us up to date frequently with photos and messages, she looks after her visitors like they were her own! I would definitely book with her again and would'nt hesitate to recommend her to others. Thank you again Caroline xx

I had such a wonderful experience with Wing and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She looked after my cat with so much love, patience, and genuine care, and I felt completely reassured knowing he was in such good hands. Wing spent time playing with him, keeping him entertained and making sure he felt comfortable and loved. What I appreciated most were her regular and timely updates, photos and messages—it was so lovely to see him relaxed, happy and even taking his little naps while I was away. Wing clearly has a natural way with cats and treated him like her own. I came home to a very happy and well-cared cat. I would happily trust Wing with him again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and genuinely caring cat sitter. ❤️🐾
This was the first time I've left Albert with anyone I didn't know so was a little hesitant as you can imagine. Olivia offered to do an initial meet which definitely helped with my nerves, she kept me updated while I was away with pics also, was very communicative throughout the whole time, and really understood the needs/routine of my dog well. Albert came back home really happy, I could tell he had been well looked after, highly recommend her for anyone who needs their dog looked after. I will definitely be in touch again to look after Albert.

Katie has been absolutely fantastic from start to end. She gave us reassurance over the settings (house and garden) as having a rescue dog, we were a bit worried our dog may want to get out. But Katie went the extra mile and measured and photographed her fence and also used a tracking device on our pooch. I truly felt our dog had an amazing holiday too whilst we were away. The whole family has looked after her brilliantly and cared for her as if they were her owners. I was also amazed by how highly communicative Katie has been the whole time with pictures and videos. I would definitely recommend Katie to others but also we will use her services in the future.

Ebony was our first Rover pet sitter. She took well to all the instructions to take care of Tilly. I received updates and any inquiries regarding Tilly the response came quickly. Tilly is easy company, despite her ability to pull on the lead with new walkers whom she need to obey or her “chancer” antics to try eat food that is rubbished on walks, seems like Ebony got hang of Tilly. I would hope to have Ebony again for future care for Tilly as she seems fine when we got her, back to her normal routine and peaceful sleep.

We had a wonderful experience with her, my cat seemed to really enjoy her stay and photos and videos were consistently sent. It was really convenient as we informed her at a really short notice but she handled it in a friendly and helpful manner. Would definitely recommend!
Anna took great care of my nervous dog. She arranged a meet and greet ahead of time and was very communicative leading up to his visit. She shared a photo of him settling in after the drop off and made sure his stay was comfortable. I trust her to treat my dog like her own!

She took such wonderful care of Odin and really went above and beyond. With the heatwave, she even woke up early to make sure he could have his walk before it became too hot, and followed all of his care instructions diligently. I left Odin with her for two nights and a day while I was away for work, and when I picked him up, he was happy and completely himself — as though I’d never been away! It was really reassuring knowing he was so well looked after. I’d happily leave Odin in her care again. 😊

Absolutely fantastic dog sitter - Joanne kept me updated about my dog throughout the weekend and sent photos and videos. He was super happy and tired when I picked him up. Joanne wasn’t phased by my dog being somewhat reactive to other dogs, and also managed his medication really easily. Thank you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
