Hi, I’m Chenyan 👋 I’ve been around pets (both dogs and cats) for over 10 years, and have raised two dogs from tiny pups. Now I share my home with my whippet girl, Mae, who’s gentle and full of personality. Over the years, my dogs have taught me everything about patience, empathy, and the value of a calm, structured routine (plus, of course, endless cuddles). We live just a few minutes’ walk from two lovely valley parks, where we go for walks twice a day. I also have experience living with cats, so I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and their more independent feline friends. If your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like family - with plenty of attention, play, and a cosy spot to rest (sofa privileges included!). Every animal has their own quirks and comfort zones, so I always take time for a meet & greet to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy here. I’ll love and care for your pet as if they were my own - and will share regular photos and updates while you’re away. In a nutshell: 1. Experienced and passionate pet sitter (30+ dogs cared for on Rover since 2025). 2. My home is a quiet house in a peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by grass fields, woodland, and streams — all within the community, no busy roads. 3. The go-to home for many of my friends’ pets when they travel. 4. At least two daily walks, lots of love guaranteed.

Chenyan and Suki always take the best care of our saluki lurcher, Sybil! We know that when Sybil is with them, that we don't have to worry, and that she'll be having the best time hanging out with their whippet Mae. She comes back to us a tired and happy girl 💖

Thank you so much to Chenyan, Suki, and Mae for always taking such wonderful care of Nessa, our gentle rescue whippet. Communication is always smooth, and we really appreciate your flexibility with drop-off and pick-up times. We loved receiving regular updates and lovely photos of Nessa enjoying her walks, sniffing around, and having fun with Mae. It's been wonderful to see Nessa and Mae build such a lovely friendship. Mae's calm, friendly, and confident nature has been a great influence on Nessa, helping her feel safe and more confident with every visit. Chenyan and Suki are genuinely caring and attentive dog sitters, and we always know Nessa is in the best hands. We couldn't recommend them more highly!
Chenyan was so amazing!! Eddie had such a lovely daycare and Chenyan regularly sent updates throughout the day, which was really appreciated. Her dog Mae is very sweet and friendly, and Eddie had a lovely day playing. Would highly recommend Chenyan as a sitter, she is very friendly and professional. Schedule
Our home is shared by two girls and one gentle whippet girl — it’s a calm and relaxed space where there’s always someone around. We both work from home, so the house is never empty, and we keep a flexible routine that can easily adapt to your pet’s normal schedule — whether that means early morning walks, regular mealtimes, or quiet nap breaks. Before any booking, I like to talk through your pet’s usual routine so we can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible for them. And of course, a meet & greet is always essential.

Safety, trust & environment
I’ll always follow your instructions when it comes to food, treats, and routines. You’re welcome to bring along your dog’s usual meals, favourite snacks, or even their cosy blanket – anything that helps them feel at home. Safety is my priority: doors and gates are kept secure, walks are always on-lead unless agreed otherwise, and I take time to make sure every dog feels comfortable and settled.

A typical day
Throughout the day, we engage in a variety of activities that cater to each dog's interests and energy levels. And of course, will take them out for at least two mid-long walks.
