About: I have loved dogs and animals all my life and have many years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I grew up with a Border Collie and had my beautiful Golden Retriever for 14 years. I now have Hudson, my two-year-old chocolate Labrador, who I trained from a puppy. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs and routine, and I take the time to make them feel safe, happy and settled. I am patient, caring and responsible, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s walking, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company. New to Rover, but certainly not new to dogs. 🐶 I work a mix of home and office-based hours, giving me good flexibility for pet care. My day starts with an early 5.30am walk, and I usually spend only a couple of hours in the office before working from home. I am home with Hudson for most of the day and we have another walk every evening, usually covering 4–5 miles a day. I can offer boarding and walks depending on your dog’s needs and my availability. I have a secure, fully fenced garden and a safe, comfortable home where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I have plenty of space and can use separate rooms if dogs need their own space or time to settle. Hudson is friendly and used to being around other dogs, but I understand that every dog is different and will always follow their individual routine and needs. I will provide plenty of supervision, exercise, affection and attention so your dog feels safe and cared for while they are with me.
“My one year old cocker spaniel had a fabulous 10 days with Mikayla and Alec! Mikayla arranged a meet and greet to check he would get on with their dog Susan and wanted to know his routine, likes, dislikes etc so she would know how to care for him. He was treated like one of the family and got on with Susan brilliantly. Mikayla kept me updated with frequent photos so I knew he was getting on well. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mikayla to anyone looking for a boarder who will care for your dog like their own 🐶”

“Thank you so much to Jaco and his family for looking after Marley whilst we were away on a first holiday away from him!. Marley had a little stay overnight with Jaco earlier in the year which had really set our mind at ease. Marley was with Jaco's family this time for just under 2 weeks. Though we missed him so much, it made such a difference getting Jaco's updates and messages complete with lots of photos. We could see he was getting lots of love and attention - and lovely rural walks too! It was a tremendous relief and gave us such peace of mind. When we picked Marley up he was his usual happy and bouncy self. Would highly recommend Jaco for anyone looking for a safe, loving home from home for your pets. He and his family really care and it made such a difference. We will definitely reach out to Jaco once again if we need to be away.”

“Kat was absolutely incredible with my 11-week-old puppy, Taz! Leaving such a young pup while away could have been nerve-wracking, but Kat provided daily updates, stuck strictly to his routine, and even kept up with his ongoing training. Knowing he was in such capable and caring hands gave me complete peace of mind so I could fully enjoy my holiday. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter and highly recommend Kat to anyone looking for top-tier care!”

For dog walks, I’ll make sure your dog is safely secured before leaving the property and will follow your instructions around leads, routes and any specific needs. I’ll keep dogs under control throughout the walk and make sure they are safely returned home afterwards. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my priority, and I’ll keep you updated so you know they’re happy and well looked after.

“Esme was brilliant with our dog. She was very responsive to my initial enquiry. We received an update mid board showing a very contented Labrador which is always reassuring. If you are looking for someone to care for your pet then look no further than Esme.”

“Highly recommended! Indra is so lovely, took amazing care of my two doggies, so much so, I don’t think they wanted to come home. She was perfect in communicating and sending me lots of picture updates. I absolutely will be using her again as I felt my dogs were so safe and loved with her!”

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers that can’t wait to give your pup as much love as possible. We currently have a cocker spaniel x dachshund of our own that we’ve raised from a puppy, so we understand the patience, consistency, and care it takes to support them through every stage of life. On top of that, my partner (Grace) grew up with dogs so she has been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses for as long as she can remember. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about dog behavior, body language, and the importance of positive reinforcement. This knowledge has been incredibly helpful not just with our own dog, but also when caring for other people’s pets, whether its giving energetic pups an outlet, or sticking to training routines we’re happy to help. We know how important it is to keep dogs on their own schedule and in line with the habits they’re used to, so we’re happy to follow any training, feeding, walking, or play requirements you have in place. For us, dogs are part of our family. Our goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, and fun experience every time they’re with us so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Grace works full time from home with the odd day in the office but Tom works from home when Grace is in the office so there is always someone at home. We have a small fenced garden to keep your puppy safe, and as we mentioned before we have a dog of our own so walks and playtime are already in our routine. Our pup loves to snuggle up in the evenings so we would love for yours to join us too.
“I recently left my dog, Blue, with Ellie for one night, and I am really happy with the experience. When I picked Blue up, she was calm, happy, and showed no rush to leave Ellie’s home—clear signs that Blue was well cared for and comfortable. I felt completely at ease knowing Blue was in good hands. Thank you, Ellie!”

About: I am licenced & insured. With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, I offer a true home-from-home environment where your dog will be treated like one of the family. I’ve raised two litters of puppies with our dog Indie so I understand the care, patience, and attention they need at every stage. We’re lucky to have fantastic woodland and open green space right out of our back gate perfect for safe, enriching walks and plenty of outdoor time. Also a safe enclosed garden if your dog prefers pottering about! Whether your dog loves exploring, playing, or simply relaxing, they’ll feel happy, secure, and well cared for here. Specialising in boarding smaller dogs means your dog gets care that’s truly tailored to their size, temperament, and needs. Caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m already at home throughout the day, so your dog will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention rather than being left alone for long periods. Our home is full of life, routine, and warmth, which helps dogs settle in quickly and feel part of the family. School runs, walks, and time spent outdoors mean regular exercise and stimulation, while quieter moments at home allow for rest, cuddles, and calm time. I provide a safe and carefully managed home environment for small dogs, where their comfort and wellbeing always come first. I have a friendly, well-socialised Cocker Spaniel who is used to being around other dogs and offers gentle companionship, helping visiting dogs feel more relaxed and settled. I only take a small number of dogs at a time and ensure they are well matched in size and temperament. Introductions are always done slowly and calmly, and I supervise interactions to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If needed, I can easily separate spaces within the home to give dogs their own quiet area as well as providing crates if your dog is used to having a crate in their day to day life. Our secure, fully fenced garden provides a safe space for outdoor play and fresh air, and we’re lucky to have lovely walks nearby for as much or less exercise required!! For extra peace of mind, The Hampshire Vet is less than five minutes away, ensuring quick access to professional care in the unlikely event of an emergency. I am DBS checked.

“Amy was fantastic looking after our mischievous Beagle. She provided Willow with everything she needed and sent updates and images whilst we were away. She was keen to understand Willow's usual schedule and requirements and ensured she was comfortable. I will certainly look to book with Amy again in the future.”
