About: I’ve been walking dogs since I was 14, starting by helping an elderly lady with her dogs. That experience taught me how important patience, reliability, and understanding each dog’s individual needs are. I also have my own Pomeranians, so I’m used to caring for high maintenance breeds that require plenty of attention and exercise. (My dogs will not be there whilst looking after yours) Looking after my own dogs has given me hands on experience with different personalities, routines, and care requirements. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll, an energetic walk, or simply providing lots of love and attention, I’m committed to giving every pet the best possible care. As a teacher, I’m available to walk dogs on weekends throughout the year. During school holidays and half terms, which are frequent, I have much more flexibility and am available for dog sitting, drop in visits, and longer periods of care while you’re away. This means your pet can enjoy plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship during your holiday bookings, giving you peace of mind that they’re in safe and caring hands. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I’ve recently bought my own home, which has a secure, fully fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to run around, play, and go to the toilet safely. Inside, my home is clean, calm, and welcoming, with plenty of room for pets to relax. During warmer weather, the house stays nice and cool, helping to keep dogs comfortable and prevent them from overheating. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention, so they feel happy and at home while they’re with me. If your pet is more comfortable in familiar surroundings, I’m also happy to pet sit in your home, ensuring they can stick to their usual routine while receiving the same loving, reliable care.

About: I have grown up with many animals including dogs and I feel they are part of our family. I have plenty of experience with dogs. I understand their phycology and love training them. I have cared for my families and my friends dogs of all sizes, from staffies, french bull dogs to giant schnauzers. My dog Bertie is very well behaved, calm and relaxed though he has a lot of energy and loves his outdoor adventures. He is very happy sharing his home for stop overs and day play mates. I am retired from working within the NHS and love being a home body. Thereby I am able to offer an excellent service in providing a loving, caring and safe home from home experience for your dog. I have a safe enclosed rear garden with a massive open space right next door which is a great safe area to run and play in. My home life is relaxed and peaceful, providing a calm, safe place for your dog to stay. I'm blessed to live in an area of natural beauty with plenty of lovely woodland walks right on my door step.

About: My partner Jacob and I have both had dogs all our lives. We have had Staffies, boxers, spaniels, cross breeds. You name it! We love dogs. We also love and really advocate for dog training knowledge. We are very safe and responsible dog owners and know a lot about dog body language and behaviour. We will always make sure our day revolves around the dogs! They’ll get plenty of exercise, but we love to play with the dogs too - if they want it! Whether that’s a game of chase, tug, or find it. We love to mentally stimulate dogs as it’s so good for their brain. We love a game of hide and seek. Me and my partner work full time but both have the luxury to work from home. I do 2 days a week and my partner can work from home whenever. My work is very flexible and I live a 10 minute walk (1 minute drive) from my office so can attend to the dogs whenever. I am out in the morning for my exercise and my partner does his in the evening, so one of us is always home with the dog! We love to get out steps in before work and after too, so we always get out with the dogs. We have concrete fenced garden with a secure gate. We have doors inside the house that if we open the front door, we ensure the dogs are kept behind a closed door so they cannot get out. We make sure the dogs have everything they need and easy access. We are very tidy and don’t leave mess around or anything for dogs to chew on etc.

My house has: - Floor for paws anti-slip flooring and carpet throughout. - A fenced garden with a locked back gate. - A sofa and bed dogs are allowed on. - A dog gate by the front door which is always closed when the front door is opened. 🐕 Why Greyhounds & Sighthounds? Greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and other sighthounds are incredibly special dogs. I understand their love of routine, their sensitive nature, their need for secure environments, and their talent for turning into professional couch potatoes after a walk! For now, these are the only dog breeds I will accept. 📸 Regular Updates I know how much you miss your dog when apart, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay, giving you complete peace of mind. Walks are at lunchtime however if open to an early mornings (6am) then Forest adventures are available for dogs who enjoy them! I am usually in the office on Tuesdays and occasionally Thursdays. I have a friendly 2-year-old cockapoo called Lucho who absolutely loves the company of other dogs - he’s gentle, non-aggressive, and always eager to play, making him a great companion for visiting pups. He makes the shiest dogs feel as ease and at home. I genuinely enjoy getting out for walks and would love to welcome another dog to join us, giving both them and my own dog the chance for fun, exercise, and socialisation. Your dog will be treated with care, attention, and plenty of affection while they’re with me. Lucho is well trained - house trained, comes back on command, does tricks (sit, paw, other paw, beg, lie down, spin, roll over, kiss) - so if your young pup comes around, I can definitely do some training, or expand on any training already being done at home. I work from home - where I have a large garden and lots of toys for dogs to play in. I work 10am-6pm, and have an hour lunch break in-between, so lots of time for long morning walks, and ample opportunities to allow the doggies to do their business out in the garden. I have a fenced garden at home, and dogs have free roam around the house which is mostly dog-proof. I have a super friendly cockapoo who makes even the grumpiest of pooches to get up and play - so he's happy to keep your fur baby company and ease them into my care.

“We were very nervous of leaving our 2 year old lab and Chelcey was great at reassuring us. Through the stay we were sent regular updates and you could tell everyone was having fun and that Chelcey has a genuine love of dogs. Obi was wagging his tail like crazy in all of the videos and he became good pals with Nellie (Chelcey’s dog). Chelcey was professional from the outset - arranging an initial meet to make sure that the dogs got on and asking questions about diet and any rules that we wanted such as not getting on furniture. We were able to relax over our break in the knowledge that Obi was well looked after and happy. I would definitely use Chelcey again.”

About: Hey I'm Ellen! I've grown up around cats and dogs of all sizes and my own Goldie has had her own litter of puppies as well as my cat Lullaby who had two litters. Meaning I have experience with dogs and cats from the age of minutes old all the way up to 13 years. Both of my pets get along very well with eachother and all other furry visitors so will provide great company for your pet. I live with my parents and two siblings in a two story house with a fenced garden. It's the perfect place for your pup to spend the day or even the night. I will give your pupper all of my attention, 100% of the time they are staying with me to ensure they are comfortable and enjoying their holiday away! I have looked after and cared for Maltipoos, Labradors, Pugs, Border collies, Chihuahuas, Goldies, French Bulldogs, Jack Russells, Yorkies, Boxers, Spaniels, Daschunds, the list goes on... I am well versed in dog breeds and behaviours due to my obsession of everything dogs growing up and am confident in my knowledge and experience :) I currently work full time but can work around my schedule to look after your fluffy friend! If you book 6 weeks in advance I can book a full week of to dedicate to your pet. I love meeting new pups and giving them the time they need :) I can be there whenever you need and for as long as you need to keep your fur babies happy:) I will make sure to keep your pupper safe and secure and never leave them unattended when in my care.
