Through the stay we were sent regular updates and you could tell everyone was having fun and that Chelcey has a genuine love of dogs. Obi was wagging his tail like crazy in all of the videos and he became good pals with Nellie (Chelcey’s dog). Chelcey was professional from the outset - arranging an initial meet to make sure that the dogs got on and asking questions about diet and any rules that we wanted such as not getting on furniture. We were able to relax over our break in the knowledge that Obi was well looked after and happy. I would definitely use Chelcey again.”

About: Had a dog all through my childhood, had my own dog until 15 years ago. Regularly look after friends dogs for the day up to 1 week when they are on holiday I currently work 30 hours a week, looking to board at weekends when I have no work commitments and the dog can have our full attention. However I can board during the week, if the dog is able to be left alone for some time. My children would love a dog themselves but with work it would mean leaving the dog home alone which I do not like the idea of. I have a fenced garden with no back gate, which means your dog/s will be safe. I also have a stair gate across my kitchen door so that dogs can stay in there safely but still have space to walk around. I have a stair gate on the stairs so they have access to all downstairs and the garden.

“Helen was absolutely brilliant with Woody while we were away for a week. She was friendly, reliable and clearly has fantastic experience with dogs. Woody got on really well with Helen and her dog Bertie and seemed to have a great time. It was obvious he was happy, settled and very well cared for, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Helen look after Woody again and would highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and dreamed of having one of my own, so getting my first dog at 22 was very special to me. My family’s much-loved Black Labrador is now 9, and although I’ve lived on my own for the past three years, I still look after him regularly. I’m very involved in his care, from long, adventurous walks in the New Forest to grooming and administering his medication. Since then, I’ve also had the pleasure of looking after numerous dogs for friends and neighbours, including long walks, day care and multiple overnight stays. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, happy and cared for while their owners are away. I’m patient, attentive and naturally very caring, and I’m happy to follow each dog’s individual routine - whether that means lots of exercise and play, plenty of cuddles, extra patience with an older dog, or simply being there for company. Your dog would be treated as one of my own, with lots of love, attention and care. I’m currently between jobs, which means I have a very flexible schedule and lots of time to dedicate to caring for your dog. Rather than being left alone for long periods, they can have plenty of company, attention, playtime and regular walks throughout the day. I’m able to tailor my routine around each dog’s individual needs - whether they’re an energetic dog who loves long walks and exploring, a puppy who needs plenty of attention and patience, or an older dog who prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles. I’m also very happy to maintain their usual feeding, walking and medication routines so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible while you’re away. I genuinely enjoy having dogs around and would love the opportunity to give your dog a fun, loving and relaxed day while you’re busy or away. 🐾❤️ I live in a comfortable house with a secure, fully fenced garden, giving dogs a safe space to enjoy some fresh air and stretch their legs without needing to leave the garden. The house is pet-free, so your dog can have my full attention without having to share their space with other animals. I take security seriously, particularly when caring for a dog that isn’t my own. I have a Ring doorbell for added security and peace of mind, and I’m careful about keeping doors and gates secure at all times. Before your dog stays with me, I’d make sure I understand their routine, any house rules and anything they may need extra care with. I’m also very happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you can see where your dog will be staying and we can make sure we’re all comfortable before their booking.

“Absolutely AMAZING!!! I have literally no words to describe how much I'm thankful to take care of my Lulu on the highest level! I'm treating my puppy like my baby and I was so much sick worried to leave him for long 4 days away from us... But from first phone conversation, through our first meeting, the vibe was amazing! Home and environment is totally dog and puppies friendly. Honestly, he even didn't feel we were gone. He had daily portion of fun, food always on time, walkies and what more important LOVE and understanding if he had poop accident at home etc. We had daily reports and tones of videos and pictures! I need to mention as well about their lovely dogs Oscar and Lucy, my Lulu had great company and they were also so patient with him. Thank you so much and I recommend you in hundred percent.
