We returned to find he had spent the whole evening with Alison instead of spending time on our bed which he’s apt to do. This I think sums it up. “We are ‘parents’ to a very anxious sausage dog with severe separation anxiety and were quite anxious ourselves about finding a good match to care for him whilst we were away overseas with my parents for two weeks over Christmas. We had never left him with anyone but family before. After months of searching, we thought we had found someone who would work but were let down at the last minute and were feeling pretty desperate. Imogen was an answer to our prayers! We felt comfortable with Imogen from the first meeting and Winston even warmed to her right away which is very unusual. She kept in touch with daily photos, videos and messages that made us smile and assured us amid our own ‘separation anxiety’. It was clear Winston’s we’ll being was her first priority. Our pup doesn’t take to people easily but he was kissing her hand when she left. Imogen left our house very tidy and clean as well, so we could immediately relax after a long couple of flights. We can’t recommend her highly enough and hope Winston can spend time with his new favourite person again sometime soon.”
