“We are so pleased we found Alison. Thank you so much for the excellent care you gave to Roxie, our very senior labrador (15yrs!). We appreciated the lovely updates and photos you sent to us throughout the day. We didn't need to worry at all, and Roxie was clearly just as happy as we were. Helen & Steve”

About: I'm a fifth-year veterinary student and have been caring for family pets for around 5 years now. Through both pet sitting and looking after my own animals, I've gained experience with pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and pets with specific routines. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'm currently a student, so my availability varies throughout the week. I generally have weekends free and can often accommodate evening visits. I'm happy to discuss your needs and will do my best to adjust my schedule where possible to fit around your pet's routine I always aim to keep pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. In an owner's home, I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and a safe environment while respecting any specific instructions provided. I understand that every pet is different and adapt my approach to suit their individual personality and needs. Regular updates and photos can also be provided for peace of mind.
“We had a great experience with Hannah! Our 4-month-old puppy was so well cared for and clearly received lots of love, attention, and patience. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind. Our puppy was happy and relaxed, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. Highly recommend—thank you for taking such wonderful care of our little one!”

“Kirsty was lovely from the minute me and my dog met her for an introductory visit. So I knew she was the dog sitter for us! Sent updates and photos and respected my home. I have no hesitation in using Kirsty again. My dog loved her! Will be booking more dog sitting with Kirsty”

“Thank you, Imogen, for looking after Mabel. She was incredibly chilled when we returned, which I always see as a good sign of a great sit- especially with a dramatic retriever! Imogen was great at communicating and speedy to reply. She kept me updated, and I felt secure knowing Mabel was in such kind hands. Mabes can’t wait to see you again! ☺️”

“Kamila was great with the dogs, they were really relaxed with her and well walked (despite sole horrific weather) and generally just really happy. House was left clean and tidy. Wouldn't know Kamila had even stayed. Would definitely book again.”

“Really happy that we found Charlotte. She looked after Ruben, our dog, very well. You could tell he was happy to see her when she arrived to sit him, having met him the previous day. Charlotte was reliable and on time, both for our intro meeting and the actual sit. Charlotte communicated well while we were away. We would not hesitate to recommend her and would have her sit again without hesitation.”

“Bethan was so great looking after my 10 month old husky. Communication and updates were provided as well as my house being respected. Would highly recommend and will happily have look after Luna again - thank you”

“Communication with Lynne was easy and quick to organise the situation & she was punctual. Binkie and my house were well looked after, Binkie was very happy and when we got back & had obviously had a lovely time, I thoroughly recommend Lynne, who is lovely and very committed to looking after her little charge, thank you Lynne!”

“Lexi immediately bonded with John who had a real rapport with her. He kindly arrived early to go over her routine and sent photos and updates throughout the day. Lexi settled really well and obviously had a great day. Would definitely book John again.”

“We were very lucky that Helen was available at short notice to stay with our mini dachsie for our overnight away. She communicated throughout and gave regular updates. Could not be happier with her service. Thank you so much, Helen!”

“Eirian house sitter our border Collie Jet for 6 days, excellent communication, sent photos of Jet, tidy and we will definitely re-book. And most importantly Jet loved Eririan.”

“Charlotte did a tremendous job of looking after our 8 year old staffie Gunner for a weekend. She was attentive and clear in her communication with us. Due to the heat, she was happy to take him to a private dog field at 8am one morning to ensure he got his exercise (away from other dogs). I'd recommend her to anyone.”

“Absolutely the best dog sitter ! Not only did he take amazing care of both our dogs—making sure they were happy, healthy, and loved—but he also went above and beyond by tidying up the house before we got back. That was such a thoughtful touch and totally unexpected. It’s clear he genuinely cares. We came home to two very content pups and a spotless home. Can’t recommend him highly enough!”

“Hilary looked after our greyhound for the day, honestly the best experience I’ve had with a dog sitter and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. The love she shows for animals is something really special. I would highly recommend her to everyone. :)”

About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. Equally I have a lot of knowledge around other breeds particularly smaller ones. I have looked after friends and my families dogs when they have gone away. I have the ability to go to their houses so that their dogs stay in their own environment that’s familiar. I have also had dogs come and stay with me too. I regularly look after my friends dog when she goes to work making sure that her dog is well looked after. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.
“Hollie was absolutely amazing with Lily ❤️ She accepted our booking at very short notice just the day before and helped us out so much. She looked after Lily really well and kept us updated which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals. Lily was comfortable and happy with her. We are very grateful for all her help and would definitely book with her again 🥰”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Romsey
Alison really is a Super Sitter. Great with Poppy and genuinely affectionate to her. She kept in contact, but not overly, during our holiday and sent us reassuring updates of her and Poppy’s walks. House was well cared for and left spotless for our return. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Alison.
