It was such a relief to know that our pets would be cared for in their own home, minimising stress for them whilst we were away. Benji clearly adored the many walks and affection Karen gave him, and we loved the frequent video updates she very kindly sent. We could tell that he was having a ball without us! Mabel was in her element, able to roam in her territory and busy herself hunting, or cat nap in the cool of the house as she chose. Karen looked after both pets so well, even making sure Benji accessed medical care quickly when he needed it for his eye infection. Thank you, Karen! We hope to ask Karen to look after Benji and Mabel again, subject to her availability.”

About: I have looked after my friend's dogs for 10 years, dog walking and pet sitting and staying in their homes. I have 4 cats of my own, and love spending time with animals. I look after them as if they're my own and just enjoy their company. I love being active and going for walks or just staying in and having cuddles. I currently work at a pub so I am free during the day until 6pm and free on weekends after 6pm. I am able to be flexible with my schedule with enough notice as well. I will work around your needs and your pets needs, I am happy to provide cuddles or space and everything in-between. I offer a loving and easy going care, I am happy to do general house keeping watering plants etc I take pride in my job so I am happy to help.

About: I have always had a deep love for animals and despite not having many pets growing up, I have taken care of them for many friends and family over the years. I currently work on weekdays from 10-6 with possible availability before or after work for check ins, feeding or dog walking. I am also happy to book in on weekends (from friday evening to sunday) for longer pet care options. Any other availability I have will be updated along the way 😊 I am very adaptable in a pet owners home, able to respect current routines and rules with their pets whilst keeping them safe, fed and entertained. I’ll always prioritise keeping both you and you furry friend happy and reassured with frequent updates 🫶🏼

During the week I am available for morning, lunchtime and evening drop-in visits and walks. I have greater flexibility at weekends and can often provide care throughout the day. They had our two rescue dogs and our puppy for a week, and all of the dogs felt at ease with them right from the get go. Two of our dogs suffer from anxiety and it's often a struggle for new people to get them into their harnesses and out walking initially, but Aiden and Hannah had no issues. They even managed to do medication. All the dogs had lovely walks and we got lots of nice photos back. Some people are just naturals with animals and animals feel safe with them, so we are really greatful to have found them.”
