“Absolutely outstanding!! First time ever using Rover as we're let down at last minute and we found our perfect house sittier/dog sitter. We have a Staffy who has issues. About: Hi, I’m Jade, a passionate dog lover with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. Dogs have been a huge part of my life since childhood and I have grown up around a wide variety of breeds, including Labrador Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, Yorkshire Terriers and Jack Russell Terriers. This experience has given me a strong understanding of different temperaments, exercise needs and training styles, from energetic working breeds to smaller companion dogs. I currently have my own much-loved Sprocker Spaniel, Bunty, who is very much part of the family. Caring for her has further strengthened my understanding of the importance of routine, enrichment, exercise and providing a safe, loving environment where dogs can feel relaxed and secure. Professionally, I work with children and young people, so patience, responsibility, reliability and attention to detail are qualities that are second nature to me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a family member, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. Whether your dog enjoys long countryside walks, playing games, exploring new scents or simply curling up for cuddles on the sofa, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. I am happy to follow existing routines, administer basic medications if required, and provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. My aim is simple: to provide a safe, caring and enjoyable experience for your dog while giving you complete peace of mind. Why Choose Me? * Lifelong experience with dogs from puppyhood through to senior years * Experience with Labrador Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, Yorkshire Terriers, Jack Russell Terriers and Sprocker Spaniels * Patient, reliable and trustworthy * Able to follow detailed care routines * Regular photo and video updates * Plenty of affection, playtime and enrichment * Comfortable with energetic and active breeds * Flexible and committed to providing personalised care I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! 🐾 I work a varied schedule between 0900-1700 Monday-Friday (term time only) usually in two hour time slots, so I am able to take frequent breaks throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I understand that every pet is unique, which is why I take the time to carefully follow your instructions and maintain the routine your pet is familiar with. Whether that means specific feeding times, medication requirements, walking schedules, sleeping arrangements or favourite activities, I will ensure their usual routine is followed as closely as possible. I believe consistency helps pets feel safe and secure, particularly when their owners are away. I will take the time to get to know your pet’s personality, preferences and individual needs to provide care that is tailored specifically to them. As a professional who works with children and young people, I understand the importance of trust, responsibility and clear communication. You can expect regular updates, photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay or visits, giving you peace of mind that they are happy, comfortable and well cared for. I will ensure the care environment are calm, caring and pet-focused, with plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, play and affection. Whether your pet enjoys an active adventure, a gentle stroll or simply relaxing in a comfortable environment, I will ensure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Above all, I will care for your pet as if they were my own, providing a safe, loving and trustworthy experience from start to finish. 🐾

“Karen watched my pup at my house for two days and I came home to a cleaner house than I left. Karen even tossed the sheets and towels in the washer for me.”

“Hannah was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She took such great care of my cat, Dobby, and it was clear she genuinely cared about her wellbeing. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat and a flat that was spotless and very well looked after. Her communication was excellent throughout, she kept me updated regularly, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It’s such a relief knowing everything at home was in such capable hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Hannah stay again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, thoughtful, and reliable.”
“We cannot thank Karen enough! Karen has a natural affinity towards animals and Juno and Chesca took to her from the start. We felt totally comfortable going away as we knew our dogs were safe with her. Karen shared updates with us and videos and photos of them on their walks so we knew they were being well looked after. Chesca is terrified of fireworks and unfortunately it was one of those weekends! Karen spent extra time comforting Chesca and making her feel safe. She is an absolute gem. Thank you so much Karen. xx”

About: I have taken care of my sisters dog (a whippet) frequently since he has been a puppy, frequent walks, feeding him, and house sitting on a few occasions! Currently available to dog care 7 days a week, I am have passed the initial army assessment and am now awaiting a start date for the end of the year so am looking for work over the summer! Have always loved dogs, I love the outdoors and sharing that with a fury companion is always fun! Have helped care for my sisters Whippet frequently since he was a puppy
About: I’ve always absolutely loved animals! I’m the one sat next to the dog at a party. I believe dogs deserve a great mentally stimulating walk every day. I’ve previously walked dogs for The Cinnamon Trust charity, and have walked dogs for acquaintances as and when needed. I’m working only part-time as a barista which is my other passion, and can easily do house visits or dog walks alongside shifts! I am super considerate of other people’s space and like to leave it as I found it. After all, I’ve been a lodger for 5 years and keep our space nice and tidy (apart from the occasional cat hair…). I won’t be hesitant about cleaning any little or big messes your pet leaves (after all, I do work in a cafe…!). I’ll keep everyone happy and comfortable in their space!

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. While we are mostly been a cat family, we have had an array of pets, from fish to guinea pigs. I always seem to attract the cats however, nicknamed the cat queen in our house. Over the years, I have looked after many family friends dogs; Jack Russell’s, Springer Spaniels, Pomeranians, Labradors, Border Collies. I’ve always loved hiking and walking, and now get to do this as my job, but would love a furry friend to accompany me, so I can play pretend until I own one of my own! I’ve also recently done my first house sit on TrustedHousesitters for two lovely mother and daughter lab pair. It was one of my highlights so far of the year and would love to continue to help other families. I am a very tidy and clean person, and have no problem watering your plants or cleaning out a litter tray! I also have no problem with any energy level of dog, I’d walk for hours and play fetch for days… or just a quick wrap around the roads for cute oldies. I am currently an Outdoor Instructor working with the school holidays. I finish each day at 16:00, so able to drop in or walk to see your furry friends after work. I also have school holidays and weekends off, meaning I’m able to be flexible and spend lots of time playing and walking. I can also house sit during these holidays for whenever you and your loved ones are jetting off. ✈️ I love updating owners and sending lots of pictures of your friends! It is the service that I would like as I know how precious these pets are to us. I can easily follow any particular requirements or where your pet likes to sleep at night, to make sure they’re not unsettled by a new friend.

About: From a very young age, I’ve been the go to person for friends and family whenever their pets needed a little extra love and care. Whether it’s quick drop in visits, daily walks, or fortnight long stays, I’ve spent years building trusted bonds with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. My passion for animals led me to complete a National Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management, giving me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, welfare and health. But beyond the qualifications, it’s the genuine joy I get from being around dogs that really sets me apart. I treat every animal like part of the family, making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. Expect plenty of tail wags, playtime, cuddles and regular updates so you can relax knowing your fur baby is in great hands! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine, as it’s something I genuinely love doing rather than seeing it as a task. I structure my days to ensure I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding and giving each pet the attention they deserve. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop ins, or evening cuddles, I’m flexible and organised to meet each animals specific needs and routine. Because I prioritise reliability and routine, you can feel confident that your dog will be cared for on schedule, with lots of affection and attention built into every visit. My partner also has roughly 15 years of experience with looking after cats, dogs and reptiles, who may accompany me with some visits. She also has experience in sitting for medicated pets. Just for your peace of mind she’s loves every animal as if they are her own! When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make it a priority to keep everything as familiar and stress free as possible. I stick closely to your fur baby’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and any specific instructions you provide, so they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I take the time to build trust with each pet, giving them plenty of attention, affection and reassurance while you’re away. Whether your fur baby loves energetic walks or prefers a more relaxed pace with lots of cuddles, I adapt to their individual personality and needs. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping things clean, tidy and secure at all times. You’ll receive regular updates, photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Sarah looked after Rocco and our house for a week while we went on holiday, she was amazing, we got daily updates of how Rocco was and lots of photos of his adventures they went on which was lovely to see and make us feel relaxed knowing he was in safe hands and having lots of fun as he can be anxious! Our house was spotless too! Would highly recommend Sarah and would definitely use her again!”

“Ewa was an excellent dog sitter at my home. Indie was well cared for following the notes I left for her about Indie’s routine etc. Indie was taken on good walks and updates and photos were sent to me. The house was left in very good order. Thank you Ewa”

“Harley looked after our cocker spaniel Oscar for 3 weeks whilst we were away in Australia. We had regular updates from Harley with photos and info on what they had been doing and how Oscar was coping. We were very happy with the love, care and attention that Oscar received whilst we were away. Harley kept us updated on any slight issues that arose and he handled everything professionally. We chose Harley because of his great reviews and we would not hesitate in recommending his services to anyone in the future. Oscar loved having Harley over to stay in our house. Tim and Gill.”

About: I was fortunate to grow up on a small freeholding in the countryside. My family had donkeys, sheep, chickens, dogs and cats. My special animals were Toffee the donkey, Sam the lamb and Lucy the old English sheepdog! I’m a genuine dog lover who has grown up around dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I’d love the opportunity to look after yours and give them plenty of attention, affection, cuddles, and care while you’re away. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting in your home. I will be happy to offer doggy day care once my secure fencing has been completed. We are so lucky in this area to be surrounded by beautiful fields and walking areas, which are perfect for safe, fun, and active walks for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Whether your dog enjoys long walks and playtime or prefers a calmer, relaxed environment with lots of company, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and routine. Having grown up with dogs, I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable, loved, and secure. I’m patient, reliable, and will always treat your pet as if they were my own. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel daunting, so I aim to provide a warm, friendly, and trustworthy experience that gives both you and your pet peace of mind. I’m flexible with availability and can spend quality time with your pet to make sure they feel settled, cared for, and happy. I’d love to meet your furry friend and become someone you can rely on whenever you need help with pet care! I work part time as a registered nurse (adult) which gives me plenty of time to care for pets and be outside which I love. I will care for your pets to a very high standard and follow their regular routine set out by you. It will be my pleasure to help with your requirements if I can.
“Sophie not only treated our much loved dog as though he were her own giving him all the love and attention he is used to. She also is the perfect house sitter, our home was well looked after as well. Thanks Sophie”

“Cam was amazing! Full peace of mind on our first holiday away using Rover Pet sitting services for our 10 month old Chug and 3 year old Fox Red Labrador. He seems a natural with dogs and asked questioned about routine and commands which allowed for a thorough hand over and open to instructions for his stay. We got thoughtful messages, photos and videos of our 2 dogs daily. Communication was great before, during and after the stay. Cam look after the dogs and our home impeccably leaving the house super tidy and clean for our return and 2 very happy well walked and looked after doggies! Would highly recommend him and will book again in the future.”

“Fay was amazing! Fay looked after my two kittens for 5 nights who I had never left before and was very nervous to leave. Fay made me feel at ease as soon as I met her and updated me with messages and pictures to assure me both were ok throughout her stay. I think my kittens were genuinely sad when she left as they had bonded so well with her. Fay stayed at my flat and left it tidy on her departure, I will definitely be booking her again to look after my two kittens and genuinely will feel so much more at ease going away now knowing they are being looked after and loved. Thanks fay!!!!”

About: I am a highly experienced dog owner. I am qualified in doggy First Aids (see certificate) and I have enhanced DBS clearance (see certificate). I recently retired from Deputy Headship. I have owned and cared for dogs for more than 45 years. My current dogs are lovable, well trained but barmy labradoodles. Both have had 2 litters and I have learnt much about doggy behaviour and training by raising the 32 puppies. If you chose me to care for your dog/s, I will lavish the same care, attention, love and professionalism on them that I do for my own. I am fully retired so I will have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention that they deserve. I am happy to attend, daytime, evening or weekends. My garden is secure and my pets are able to roam within my boundaries. I always pick up after my dogs and would do the same in your garden. When out walking the dogs will be on leads except by specific arrangement with the owner.
“Amber looked after our 2.5 year old Cockapoo for us in our home whilst we went away for a week. Amber was polite, and knowledgeable, she was respectful towards our home and left it immaculate upon our return. Amber sent regular updates on her adventures with Hadley, and we know he had a great week with her. We would highly recommend Amber, and thank her for looking after both our dog, and our home.”

About: I have a 4 year old Border Collie, so caring for a dog is part of my everyday life. I’m used to regular walks, feeding routines, playtime, and making sure dogs are settled and comfortable. I’ve also looked after dogs for family and friends in my home and theirs. I enjoy spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy, exercised, and relaxed. I work from home full time, so I’m around all day for walks, toilet breaks, play and general company. Dogs aren’t left alone for long periods and fit easily into my daily routine alongside my own dog🥰 My home is calm and secure and I welcome well behaved, house trained dogs. I have a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely spend time outside. I also have a friendly, very energetic Collie who gets on well with other dogs and enjoys having a play mate🐶 We live next to a nature reserve, so there are plenty of opportunities for good walks during the day!

Favourite sitter by miles! Thank you so much for looking after Draco! Loved that he bonded with you straight away! Tabea has a lovely energy about her and I will be booking again! Our home was spotless and Draco was snoring away from having such a wonderful day! Thank you so much! 😊

Rolo & dash had been so comfortable with David & his wife because when I came & collected then dash almost didn’t recognise me 😅 and it showed that they r very happy & comfortably stayed with them. And had been staying in touch by text message for update how is my dogs is. I would recommended them to look after my dogs again because they r old but Dash is very lively and surprisingly it all went well for over a week no trouble at all. Thank you for taking care of them xx

5🌟! I could not recommend Darcey more! It was so reassuring to be able to go away and know all my pets were so well looked after and happy.
