About: Hello! I am a dog and cat lover, and have lots of experience with both kinds of pets. I have spent a lot of time with my aunts dogs - Labradors and mixes - some of whom have struggled with anxiety. My aunts dogs have primarily been Guide Dog rejects, they have gone through the training but ultimately didn’t pass their tests. I also have experience dog/house sitting for up to a week. My family has a cat and I have volunteered at cat shelters previously so I’m well equipped to care for cats too. In my free time I love to run, read, and do yoga, and I have lots of energy so I’m ready to tire out your pup. I am available days/evenings Mon-Fri.

About: Both my husband and I grew up caring for animals, and we lived on a small farm in Sydney, Australia, before moving to Dorset, UK. We absolutely adore animals and have not yet met an animal that we couldn't look after (except for snakes because my husband's terrified lol). My husband works remotely so he will be able to take care of your pets and is able to rework his day to best suit your pets schedules. Pets have always been a critical part of our lives and we understand it is critical to ensure they have the best care while you are away. My husband and are from Australia and don't yet have a home of our own. We always take the most care of an owners home while they enjoy their holiday and understand that, as well as pet care, house care is an important part of our role. We regularly clean and maintain the house and make sure your home is cared for and clean and ready for when you come back.

About: Ted and I are very active and take several good walks a day. We are always out exploring expect a happy, adventurous and fun loving time for your dog with Ted and I as we are used to hourly morning and evening hikes. I am a professional, calm and good leader for dogs. I'll communicate well with lots of Whats app photos and videos calls. No problem at all. I am always out and about with Ted on the weekends. Your dog is welcome to join the adventure, or I'm happy to just sit and keep the care local, if that suits your pet. I am a teacher and so I have plenty of availability during school holidays too. I have a well behaved, fun loving Springer of my own who travels everywhere with me. He's 5 and often has challenging dogs board with him as he is calm and loving. He's an energetic and playful lad too.

“Nicky looked after my two dogs Dora ( nearly 2 year old Labrador) and Doris ( 14 year old rather frail border terrier) and also my chickens and garden. The dogs have very different needs and Nicky gave them both the attention they needed and we came back to two happy content dogs. She was also happy to look after our green houses and chickens. I would recommend her and would hope to book her again.”

About: I have grown up with pets since early childhood and love mostly the company of dogs! I am familiar with all kinds of breeds (inc GSD, dachshund and Spinones) but particularly rescue dogs. Conscientous and attentive to needs of doggos, we currently have a Brittany spaniel rescue from Cyprus who is a charming boy, so we are very used to nervous and skittish dogs too. We have a 3 bedroom home with a large secure garden - perfect for playing or lounging around in the sunshine. We also have lots of great (and quiet) walks from our doorstep and live in a safe neighbourhood. My partner and I work full time but are able to be quite flexible with looking after your four legged family member. My employer is dog friendly and I work in a shared office so your pooch may come to work with me (depending on their needs), or if they prefer a quieter environment, they can stay at the house and be visited frequently by my partner or I. If your dog has separation issues we must know about this ahead of booking, as we both work full time and so cannot guarantee 24/7 care (though sometimes I can be more flexible with work if I know in advance). I work full-time. Depending on the dogs needs, they may come to work with me in an office or will be located less than 10min walk away from work location where I can do regular checks. My partner and I manage this account together, but as we both work full time, we cannot commit to 24/7 care, so your dog will need to be comfortable with being left for 3 hours. I am active myself, so if they are able, I will run with Fred my dog - yours is welcome to join, or we will walk instead (45-60min). Lunchtime will be a short walk around 20min. Evening walk is 30-60mins. Plenty of off lead opportunity. Weekends are spent at the beach, the woods or at the river. Your dog will join us for all, including plenty of coffee shop trips and shopping! Fenced garden, dogs are allowed on furniture at home. I have a neutered male dog who will keep yours company! Crating can be accommodated. We also usually have a WiFi camera we can give owners access to. If your dog is not a fan of other dogs, let me know as we can come to some elegant arrangement with Fred our dog for short stays. We can accommodate all types of diet. Fred has been on raw food before and so we are comfortable with that.

About: I have always had dogs, amongst various other animals, growing up and have been given responsibility with them from a young age. Over the last four/five years I have done various dog and house sitting, for a range of times and with up to two dogs. I am currently doing a Uni course with the Open University therefore all online. Which means I have plenty of time to play with and prioritise your pets. I will only be dog sitting in others houses and I don’t have the room in my own home but anything that is needed for you dog will be done.

About: Ive always been in an animal environment, growing up on a small holding and having dogs as part of the family unit. I've walked lots of dogs as part of my previous role as a carer which involved walking the customers companion. The daily dog walks were a lovely part of the role and gave the customer the reassurance their beloved pet was getting all the daily physical requirements as well as all the love they need. Lots of flexibility . I can usually provide services at short notice l. At home there are two young people 16, 9 but no pets at the current time I have a small front garden suitable for quick wee breaks and I'm close to amazing north Dorset countryside with some fantastic walks. The walks are varied depending on the dogs requirements for exercise.

“Nina looked after our french bulldog Bella in our own home for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) whilst my family & I went to a family wedding. Beforehand, Nina gladly came over to meet Bella, finding out everything she needed to know in order to look after her well. This included checking Bella's routine, diet, habits etc. We knew that Nina would be popping in throughout the weekend but we feel that she went above and beyond. As we felt Bella did not need overnight visits, Nina came first thing in the morning to let her out etc and stayed for every visit at least 2-3 hours - visiting throughout the day for extended periods, before settling her for bed. Nina also sent us regular photos and videos which reassured us that Bella was being well cared for. In addition, Nina helped to train Bella which was definitely an added bonus. We 100% trusted Nina & could not have found a better dog sitter. We would absolutely recommend Nina to anyone requiring a pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking care of our family dog so well x”

About: We are a mature couple with a small 11yr old dog of our own who comes with our package! We can sit anywhere in the UK and Wales! We have owned and cared for many animals over many years. Ex hobby farmers, we are experienced with a plethora of pets and farm creatures. Kat holds a Canine First Aid qualification which was a classroom course run by a qualified vet. Ewen owned and bred cattle for 30 years, He also owned horses and dogs. Kat worked on a community farm and gained much experience with pigs, goats, cattle and did training with The Donkey Sanctuary. We had our own smallholding for some years where we bred pigs, raised lambs, chickens and Turkeys. We have completed work aways on 2 farms since 2020, where we helped with Lambing and Calving. We are able to care for dogs that need medication and happy to discuss caring for other pets/animals in the household. We have lived full time in our campervan since June 2020 when Ewen retired from work. We have travelled to 30 countries with pet sitting between travels for friends, relatives and house hosts. Pet and home sits give us an opportunity to explore places we may not have been before, and we are flexible as our home is on wheels! We treat all pets as if they are our own and will keep up your rules and routines so your pets feel secure and happy while you are away.

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.
