I am always concerned to leave our dog, after all they are part of the family but Melonie just made them part of her family. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept up-to-date with messages and photos. I wouldn't hesitate to to leave our dog with Melonie again.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life, including Retrievers, labradors, Staffordshire bull terriers, beagles, cavapoos, cocker spaniels. I have successfully trained dogs with ease. I live with my partner Will who is also a dog lover, and our Cocker Spaniel. We have a big fenced garden and live near wonderful countryside walking areas. As we already have a Spaniel we are used to round the clock dog care. We both work from home so are able to be with the dogs. We have a big garden which is fenced and totally secure. We have a crate which can be assembled should the owner prefer their dog to be in a crate at any point. The dogs are happy sleeping in the kitchen overnight. No dogs are allowed upstairs or on the furniture, but we have plenty of comfy dog beds!

“Our dog has always gone into kennels , he’s a shy sensitive soul and on his last visit he was visibly traumatised . I had always had reservations about sending him to a private home , but after his recent stay with Beatrice I wish I’d done it years ago , she visited him at our home and we dropped him off for a short stay ,it was obvious she was someone who understood animals and Dexter was at ease immediately, he will be going no where else from now on , I just wish I’d found her years ago , thank you Beatrice xx”

“Oscar had the best Christmas holiday with Charlie and Shane. Charlie was very professional and quick to respond to my messages throughout the process. We met for an initial get to know you walk at a local park and met again just prior to Oscar's holiday to go through the essentials and to ensure that we were all happy to go forward. Whilst on holiday we received regular photos, videos and updates on how Oscar was getting on (extremely well) and I was worried he wouldn't want to come home! Oscar will be spending all of his holidays with Charlie and her lovely family in future. We had used another national pet sitting company in the past who were great until this year when the Taunton area were absolutely useless. The Rover site is brilliant. We had lots of responses from potential Sitters who all seemed to be honest and considerate people.”
