About: Hello! I am a dog and cat lover, and have lots of experience with both kinds of pets. I have spent a lot of time with my aunts dogs - Labradors and mixes - some of whom have struggled with anxiety. My aunts dogs have primarily been Guide Dog rejects, they have gone through the training but ultimately didn’t pass their tests. I also have experience dog/house sitting for up to a week. My family has a cat and I have volunteered at cat shelters previously so I’m well equipped to care for cats too. In my free time I love to run, read, and do yoga, and I have lots of energy so I’m ready to tire out your pup. I am available days/evenings Mon-Fri.
About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. About: I have always LOVED dogs and have grown up surrounded by them, caring for a variety of breeds, including Retrievers, Westies, Labradors, and Bearded Collies. About: I’ve grown up and looked after dogs my whole life. All shapes and sizes. I am fortunate to have a large fenced garden and surround by nothing but fields. I like nothing better than to be out in the fresh air normally accompanied by my gorgeous Viszla. I am currently not working so am at home and free all day. About: Everyone around me will agree that I am absolutely obsessed with animals. Any animal that has come into my care has had a life of luxury. My partner and I have had endless comments on how well behaved our dogs are. My experience ranges from young dogs through to senior dogs, Including cats and sadly we lost my old cat last year. He was my best friend and the attachment we had was rare. I think about him every day. My senior dog is supported when she has harder days, especially when certain walks can be challenging for her. I will carry her up bigger steps and walk at her pace. Like humans we get bored with the same routine and so we vary the walks we go on. Whether it is a trip to the beach, a walk in the woods or running around an open field, rest assured they will have plenty of fun. I also work part-time in care and my dogs like to come with me, they are such good therapy. I will happily walk a client's dog as I like to help out where I can. My parents live locally and will quiet often have our dogs as company, they recently lost their dog and the loss has left a hole in their hearts. I will always take any instructions seriously and what wish for your pet is my command. I want you and your pet to feel comfortable knowing they will get the best care. ANY animal in my care will be loved and cherished like my own. I have plenty of free time. My partner takes our dogs to work and they also stay part-time with my parents. We don't have children and very little commitments. I work part-time and I luckily have flexibility from day to day. I have all the right safety measures in place. This includes plenty of room and 0.25 acres of land with plenty of local walks. My garden is secure.

We used to have a collie but unfortunately she had to be put to sleep which was really hard to deal with 😢 I’ve always wanted to work with animals so this is my dream job and something I hope to stick with for a long time! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

“Wow where to begin, Ellie was absolutely wonderful! We met beforehand so she could meet our dogs and check they got along with her lovely pair, this was reassuring and positive! While we were away Ellie sent me loads of pictures and kept in touch which was so lovely, she was flexible, caring and all round a lovely accommodating person. “Andre was amazing - welcoming when we first went to see his place with Loki, tolerant when we were held up on collection, and warm throughout. Loki had an amazing time despite it being the record heatwave - the first time he’s looked a little disappointed to be coming back home. Andre’s garden is vast and beautifully set away from the beaten track so there’s room for the dogs to run and breathe. Andre even made a makeshift pool to help Loki cool in the summer sun. Would highly recommend and have already rebooked!”
