About: We’ve loved taking care of cats for a long time now, housesitting for friends and family, and now all over the world! We absolutely adore all kinds of cats and kittens and have gotten to know so many little personalities along the way. We always make sure our cats are well fed, watered and played with! We always empty out litter trays as needed so that all our cats are kept clean and comfortable. The most we’ve looked after in one sit was three cats, who were an absolute delight.

About: Whilst I have set my sitter profile to mainly available for dogs, I am also available to house sit & do drop ins for your cat! I have owned cats in the past, and whilst I owned one that likely thought of me as a staff member, I also owned one that was more like a dog and actually enjoyed my attention... I am more than happy to drop in whilst you are away, feed your cat, tidy up and (if they want) play with them too <3
About: Hello! I am a dog and cat lover, and have lots of experience with both kinds of pets. I have spent a lot of time with my aunts dogs - Labradors and mixes - some of whom have struggled with anxiety. My aunts dogs have primarily been Guide Dog rejects, they have gone through the training but ultimately didn’t pass their tests. I also have experience dog/house sitting for up to a week. My family has a cat and I have volunteered at cat shelters previously so I’m well equipped to care for cats too. In my free time I love to run, read, and do yoga, and I have lots of energy so I’m ready to tire out your pup. I am available days/evenings Mon-Fri.
About: Owning 3 dogs from puppyhood to seniorhood, I have experience in providing the attention and care needed to maintain your pet’s wellbeing! 🐾 Your pet will be treated as one of my own, thanks to my passion and understanding in individual routine, needs and unique personality 🥰 My knowledge is predominantly in dog care, with basic training in professional dog grooming and daycare, however have owned a rescue cat alongside previous experience in caring for felines. Happy to offer services for both kinds of furry friends subject to discussion! 🐈⬛🦮 I’m currently employed part-time 3 days a week, so have plenty of time to dedicate to ensure your pets receive sufficient care and attention, from exercise to cuddles 🥰 - Dog gate to ensure separation from my own if preferred - Fenced garden - Rural area so plenty of opportunity for fun walks - Driving license to accommodate transport if necessary - Full compassion & understanding your/your pet’s preferences and routine
About: We are Marta and Jay, partners and dog owners working from home. We have been dog walking and looking after pets for a couple of years now. We both grew up with dogs, big and small, and now own a 2 year old German Shepherd Fred and 5 month old Cockerpoo puppy Ulu. Thanks to this we know how to take care of dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments! We both work from home so our schedule is really flexible and I’m sure we can adapt to you and your pets needs. We would be more than happy to make your time away less stressful by providing the best care possible for your pet! :) We live in a house with a fully fenced garden, where dogs are allowed on all furniture and can provide crates if needed. Message us and we can figure out all the details. Please note before booking house sitting - due to our other dog walks, we might have to pop out for a couple of hours at a time. We are both working full time but have a pretty flexible working schedule. Please feel free to send us a message and we’re sure we can make your schedule work. We can drop in and check on your pets, play with them, and feed them or care for them when you’re away. Also, we can walk your pet and play with them to provide them with the physical and cognitive exercise. Let us know if you’d like us to train your pet too, we’d be happy to! We’re experienced with anxious and reactive pets and can help both you and your pet feel at ease.
About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I’m very experienced with cats and love to be in their company. I work full time as a vet surgeon so I am mostly available at weekends but if you need morning and evening drop ins then I can work this around my hours!
“Maria is a lovely lady and took really good care of my cat Touchy whilst we were away. She sent loads of videos and photos every day which was very reassuring. I would highly recommend Maria and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future. Thank you so much for looking after my little girl ????xx”

“Angel looked after my dog while we were away. She sent regular pictures and updates. She was really helpful and came to visit Casper before we left to get to know what was needed. I felt really comfortable leaving Casper with her and she is very trustworthy. Thank you so much angel. I would definitely Recommend Angel to anyone !”

“Aliya & Amir did an amazing job looking after our home, cats, garden birds and rabbit! We were in constant communication and the updates were so much appreciated as we left behind two sensitive cats who were cared for with much love and attention. Our home was left spotlessly clean and we knew were were in good hands, it was so great to relax whilst we were away. We would not hesitate to recommend them both and look forward to booking them again.”

“Mattie did a lovely job caring for our darling girl. We came home to a very happy cat and a tidy home. I appreciated our photo updates and that Mattie was on-time to the reservation. 10/10! ”

“So happy to have found Alannya at short notice to look after our GSDx Bear. We got loads of photo updates, communication was spot on and I left the house feeling super comfortable and happy knowing Bear was in safe hands. Highly recommend x”

“It was lovely to have Melonie look after Roobarb for the day in her friendly and spacious home. Roobarb loves being with other dogs, so I knew she would be happy with Melonie's own dogs to play with and I felt totally confident that she would be well looked after and have fun - which she did! Cannot recommend Melonie highly enough.”

“Stanley had his first visit with Sarah today. I think he had the best time even though the weather was poor. Sarah gave him plenty of play time and affection and they are now firm friends. We are delighted to have found someone who is so good with animals and suited to our dog. Sarah is a lovely empathetic person and we hope that Stanley will visit her many times in the future.”

“Aljona is such a lovely person! It was clear from the minute she met Kaiku that she knows how to handle dogs which gave me so much confidence. The updates throughout the day made it clear our pup had a great time. I would definitely recommend Aljona and will book with her again!!! ?”

“Jaffa loves her visits with Alexis and always comes home tired from all her fun. Coco has been very patient with our puppy and teaching her how to play nicely with other dogs. Alexis keeps us well informed throughout the day of what Jaffa has been up to with pictures and what their walks looks like. She also listens to all our routines and asks and is very flexible with timings due to work commitments. We will 100% be using Alexis in future, thanks so much for your help so far :)”

“Erin was incredible! So lovely and welcoming and great with Kiki. She sent us photos of the nice walks and activities and cuddles they had during the day! Totally amazing, would recommend Erin to anybody!”

“Gwen's first day-care visit has been a great success! She was a little anxious for about half an hour at the start (she's only every been cared for by us and friends before) but she soon settled. It was so good to receive an update and photos at lunchtime which showed Gwen having a great day. At collection time, it was a joy to find Gwen running around with Coca, playing with toys and feeling very relaxed. We feel very lucky to have found such a lovely family to look after her!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.
About: I have grown up with dogs and love being in their company. I have experience of looking after many types of dog and would have plenty of time to spend walking and playing with your pet. I work from home part-time (22 hours) so I have plenty of time to care for your dog. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a secure garden. I have two daughters, a 14 year old and a 6 year old, both are very happy and comfortable around dogs. I have a secure fenced garden with plenty of space for your pet to run around. There are lots of great places locally for dog walks, including the local rec. I have no dogs or other animals of my own. I work part-time, from home. This allows me to be flexible to your dogs routine, such as toilet routines, exercise, play, feeding etc. I spend a lot of time at home so your dog will have plenty of company. I have a secure, fenced garden. I am also trained in dog first aid/CPR (September 2022) and have access to a dog first aid kit. I live near plenty of lovely places to walk your dog.
“Nanook has been going to Ruben's weekly for I cannot recall how long. She loves it. It's a home from home and she always has a lovely day with Oggy and Ruben. I can work knowing she's loved and safe and the pupdates throughout the day help settle my mind. She looks forward to every Wednesday and practically drags us to their door. Thank you so much xxx”

“I felt quite at ease from the moment I took Annie into the house; Chloe made Annie very welcome and I knew Annie would have a fun day. Annie behaved and enjoyed seeing the children. No hesitation to ask her again.”

“Teddy's daycare with Fran was everything we could have asked for. She sent us pictures during the day and Teddy looks to have had a great time on a walk in the woods with other dogs. He seemed reluctant to say goodbye! Will definitely be using Fran again. Thank you!”

“We visited Bath for a day and left our dog, Nymeria, with Francesca. She was very pleasant to communicate with, and she took a good care of Nymeria. Nymeria would love to hang out with Francesca more if we visit Bath again.”

“Kerry and her family were very welcoming when we arrived. I immediately felt sure that Jasper would be well looked after. In fact he never noticed we were leaving. Jasper immediately engaged with Kerry’s dog, Tilly who was very playful and well matched to his energy levels. At the end of the day we collected a very tired but happy and contented doggy. I will definitely use Kerry again when I return to Dorset next year.”

Please let me know if there’s anything specific I need to know about your property and your pet. Dogsitting is now my full-time job. You can have full peace of mind when booking with me, as I make sure all doors are locked whenever leaving the property, and I stay in touch with you via text while you’re away, letting you know how your pet is doing, if there are any problems, and even sending photos of your furry friend so you know they’re in good hands!

About: We are a semi retired British couple who love animals and have been full time pet/house sitters since May 2022. We are vegetarian, non smoking, and enjoy yoga, walking and travel. Together we have run a holiday letting business in SW Wales for over 15 years as well as courses for people suffering with Chronic Fatigue/M.E and stress related conditions. All of our therapy and holiday property lettings work has moved online now so we can work remotely from anywhere. This has allowed us the freedom to be full time house/pet sitters and we are loving it! We stay at pet owners homes and very rarely leave pets alone - particularly dogs. Your home will be kept tidy and spotlessly clean at all times. We are DBS checked and insured. Numerous reviews (all 5*) available on request.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 5+ years, plus having pets growing up taught me a lot. References available on request. I have lovely clients and I adore all the pets I get to visit and spend time with :) I’m Self-Employed so am pretty flexible. I currently work from home so scheduling shouldn’t really be a problem. Occasionally Fridays I cannot do, but we can discuss dates etc. I always love walking them and exploring, we spend good time outside :) whatever they need! Cuddles too. About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

“Couldn't ask for more, really. Have left our two dogs with Brandon and family a few times now and each time they've been looked after brilliantly. Lots of interaction, care and understanding. I will have no hesitation in using Brandon again, and indeed recommending him to others.”

“Angela and her family looked after my dog Captain for the weekend and did an amazing job. He seemed to settle with them well and enjoyed his time with the family. “Kerry and her family are fantastic! Our Hesta was so well looked after, with regular walks and lots of cuddles. She enjoyed playing with Kerry’s dog Tilly, who is very sweet. Cannot recommend Kerry highly enough. Thank you!”

“Hugo could not have been looked after better than he was with Nick and Dawn. His every need was attended to, their lovely dog Doug accepted him without any problem and I suspect we have a holiday home for Hugo from now on. Absolutely perfect. Thank you.”

“This is the first time our dog has stayed overnight since losing her partner in crime to old age, so we were cautious about who we chose. We have visited a few other hopefuls, but our dog would shake with fear at the thought of even going into another house, no reflection on the supplier, just our timid dog. When we visited Rachel, we were expecting the same reaction. So when our dog literally bounded into the house and made herself at home, there was a mixture of surprise and relief! Don't know what it is, but our dog was completely at ease within seconds! We found Rachel to be personable, thoughtful and super considerate. We had the opportunity to then book our dog in for a few days before the longer stay planned later in the year, and I'm not sure our dog wanted to leave at the end of it!! We were sent daily photo's and updates, so knew our dog was happy. I can confidently state that Rachel has a way with dogs and would trust her with our dog at the drop of a hat!”

“Niels was absolutely fantastic with my young dog. He accepted to look after my Cocoa at a very short notice. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I will certainly be using his services again.”

“Dawn sent loads of photo updates and kept us updated through out Bronson's stay making us feel at ease. Bronson and Obi had a great time together with loads of walks locally and sun bathing in the garden.”

“Thank you so much to Claire and her family for providing a happy and comfortable home from home for Bramble. She was so happy and content when she came home that she must have had a wonderful stay. Thank you as well to Claire for keeping me updated with how things were going during the the visit.”

“We had never left Matilda with non-family before so were worried but we had a lovely meet with Patri before our booking date and this really put our minds at rest and we knew that Matilda would be well looked after and we had nothing to worry about. Patri asked all the right questions to ensure she gave Tilda the best care. When we left her she was not at all bothered and Patri sent us photos to show she practically went straight to sleep :) Thank you Patri, we certainly enjoyed our event more not worrying about Tilda and knowing she was in good hands,”

“Just picked up Reggie after he stayed with Vanessa for 8 days. We could not recommend Vanessa enough. It was our first time leaving Reggie with someone who wasn't family so we were quite apprehensive but Vanessa instantly made us feel at ease. She kept in regular contact with us with pictures and messages of Reggie's days out , taking him on loads of different walks and trips. Reggie was so relaxed his whole stay and felt so safe with Vanessa. If you're looking for a dog sitter look no further than Vanessa. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. Thanks again”

“Darcy had such a great time and was looked after so well. In fact, as I type this, Darcy is fast asleep on my lap dreaming about all the new friends she made and can’t wait to go back. Thank you Jonathan 👏🐶”

“Charlotte was very helpful to us at a difficult time. She took Balla and Jasper and looked after them wonderfully. They were made at home and made a fuss of……. Thank you very much.”
