About: I have had dogs all my life from small to large breeds. I currently have one dog a cocker spainel who is very friendly and can provide some comfort to your doggie while they stay with us. Where I live is mainly farmland so loads of space and places to take your pets for nice walks,long or short, depending on their needs. I have a fenced in garden so nice and secure for them to have play or lounge outside. I work 5mins away were I live so they will not be left for long periods. If your Interested in seeing the house or have any other question please ask away and look forward to hearing from you and to meet your pets. Also I can provide 3 to 4 walks a day for your doggies depending on their exercise needs. I have my own dog he is neutered, small/medium size and very friendly, he can provide company for your doggie while they stay with us. Live surrounded by farmlands and woodlands so there is plenty of places to go for all different types of walks.

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. About: We’ve loved taking care of cats for a long time now, housesitting for friends and family, and now all over the world! We absolutely adore all kinds of cats and kittens and have gotten to know so many little personalities along the way. We always make sure our cats are well fed, watered and played with! We always empty out litter trays as needed so that all our cats are kept clean and comfortable. The most we’ve looked after in one sit was three cats, who were an absolute delight.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have had them in my life for as long as I can remember, with around 15 years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, temperaments and levels of training. My own fox red Labrador, Gillie, has been a particularly important part of that experience. I trained her to work and she has helped shape the calm, consistent and adaptable way I approach dogs. Gillie is not currently resident at my home, so there is presently no resident dog at the property. One of the things I enjoy most about caring for dogs is that no two are quite the same. I’m very comfortable adapting to the individual dog rather than expecting them to fit into one standard routine. At one end of the spectrum, that might mean a trained working dog whose owner wants particular commands used, no ball throwing, strict boundaries and an established routine followed precisely. At the other, it might be an excitable adolescent, a strong or boisterous dog, a puppy still learning the basics, or a dog that simply needs a confident and patient person to manage them. I’m particularly comfortable with dogs that need a little more understanding, confidence or management. I don’t expect every dog arriving here to be perfectly behaved, and I won’t automatically dismiss a request simply because a dog is more demanding or the circumstances are a little complicated. More complex behavioural needs are considered individually so that I can make sure the arrangement is safe and appropriate for everyone involved. My home is in rural Wiltshire, with a large, fully fenced garden and direct access from the doorstep to fields, woodland and quiet countryside walks. Dogs staying with me live as part of the household rather than in a kennel-style environment, with plenty of company, outdoor time, exercise and opportunities to settle and relax. I am equally happy following a simple familiar home routine or a very detailed set of instructions. Feeding, sleeping arrangements, exercise, established training, medication, toys, treats, boundaries and all the little individual preferences that matter to your dog can be followed as closely as possible. I also understand that owners have different requirements. Some want regular photographs and reassurance, some prefer concise updates, and some simply want to know that everything has been taken care of. I’m happy to adapt to that too. Above all, my approach is calm, practical and personal. I want your dog to receive the care that is right for them and for you to feel confident that, if something needs adapting or plans change, I will deal with it sensibly. I have a flexible schedule and spend a lot of time at home, so dogs staying with me can have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. The countryside around the house makes walks very easy to build naturally into the day, whether your dog needs longer active exercise, shorter walks, a more structured working-dog routine or simply plenty of opportunities to get outside. I’m deliberately flexible with the human side of dog care too. Early starts, later collections, changing travel arrangements and short-notice requests are always worth asking about. If circumstances change during a stay, let me know and I will normally do everything reasonably possible to help. Where appropriate, I can also accommodate additional requirements such as collection or drop-off, extra exercise, bathing and other practical extras. Just tell me what you need and I can confirm what is possible. My home provides a calm rural environment with a large, fully fenced garden and direct access to quiet countryside walking. I manage every dog according to the individual rather than assuming that what works for one dog will work for another. Introductions between dogs are handled carefully, interaction is supervised and I do not believe dogs should be forced to socialise simply for the sake of it. Some dogs enjoy company and play. Others need more space, quiet time or closer management. I take temperament, age, size, energy levels, behaviour and the instructions you give me into account when planning their care. I am happy to follow established boundaries and training rules closely. If your dog is crate trained, has particular commands, must not have certain toys or treats, cannot go on furniture, needs controlled exercise or has another established management routine, I would much rather know and maintain it properly than inadvertently undo your work. I am comfortable administering oral medication and caring for dogs with additional needs where I have been given clear instructions. Off-lead exercise is never assumed simply because a dog has recall at home. It is based on your instructions, the dog, the environment and my own assessment of what is safe. For first stays I normally prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet. It allows me to meet your dog, understand their normal behaviour and routine, and gives you the opportunity to see the environment in which they will be staying. If you have a genuinely urgent or last-minute situation where a meet-and-greet is not practical, please still get in touch. I will assess what is realistically possible rather than automatically saying no. There is currently no resident dog at my home.

About: I have looked after dogs ever since I was like 13 and I’m always getting an asked to watch neighbours dogs and take them for walks and dog sit so I thought I would come in here and try I currently work with a agency so normally I only have to work six till like 2:30 and sometimes I get a whole week off so I am always available and I always have my weekends My environment where I live is the best place to have a pet because there’s a huge garden and there’s just so much space where I live and they would just love it. About: I have looked after my family’s and friends dogs by taking them on walks, and playing and looking after them when house sitting whilst they’ve been away I work full time from home and will be available to dog walk in the morning from 7am-8am and in the evening from around 5.30pm-7.30pm. About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

About: I have been around animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember, from growing up around cats and dogs to living in Kenya and seeing wild beasts! I am trustworthy, adore every animal, and have experience looking after all different types of dogs and cats, accumulated over many years and in many different places. Any work I do currently do is from home, so I have all day to spend with my furry friends! My days and weeks are centred entirely around them! We have a walled garden and the door of the house is left open if the weather permits. But there is no way to escape the walled garden! Dogs are rarely left unsupervised, except for up to an hour if I am going running with my younger spaniel. Dogs are entertained throughout the day with various games/walks.

Occasionally Fridays I cannot do, but we can discuss dates etc. I always love walking them and exploring, we spend good time outside :) whatever they need! Cuddles too. We live in the countryside so plenty of space

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

It was incredibly hot while Jack was with Melonie but she took sensible precautions to ensure that he didn’t overheat and I felt very confident that he was safe in her care and so I could enjoy my holiday.”
About: I have had dogs all my life from small to large breeds. I currently have one dog a cocker spainel who is very friendly and can provide some comfort to your doggie while they stay with us. Where I live is mainly farmland so loads of space and places to take your pets for nice walks,long or short, depending on their needs. I have a fenced in garden so nice and secure for them to have play or lounge outside. I work 5mins away were I live so they will not be left for long periods. If your Interested in seeing the house or have any other question please ask away and look forward to hearing from you and to meet your pets. Xx I live 5mins away from were I work so your doggie would not be left for long periods of time, a maximum of 2hours. Also i can pop back earlier if needs be. I have a secure fenced in garden to allow for your pets to play and lounge outside and have their toilet breaks safely. I allow dogs on the sofa for cuddles and comfort. Also I can provide 3 to 4 walks a day for your doggies depending on their exercise needs. I have my own dog he is neutered, small/medium size and very friendly, he can provide company for your doggie while they stay with us. Live surrounded by farmlands and woodlands so there is plenty of places to go for all different types of walks.

“Thank god for Debbie. From our first meet and greet and how well our dog Buddy took to her, we knew we found a special, trustworthy, genuine person to care for Buddy, whilst we were away. Debbie provided such an excellent service and made sure we were kept updated with messages and photos during Buddy’s stay. And we could tell he was being so well cared for, which in turn made our holiday away more enjoyable as we could properly relax knowing he was so happy and settled. “We were looking for day and overnight care for Ollie and Pippa last minute as we needed to go to visit a friend who is very unwell. We hadn’t used Sarah before and had only left our doggies with other minders on a couple of occasions. After our initial contact with Sarah we arranged a meet and greet on Monday prior to our trip on Tuesday. Sarah was very friendly and extremely helpful in accommodating our request. She carefully listened to us regarding our doggies needs and we felt comfortable and confident in leaving them in her care. During their stay with her she kept us updated which further reassured us that all was well and that they were happy. Sarah provided an excellent service and we will definitely use her again (if she will have us!) It’s not always easy to find good care hence the reason that we don’t leave our doggies very often. It is good to know that we will now be able to leave them more often with someone that they like and we trust. Thank you so much Sarah & Saul 🐾”
“Our previous sitter cancelled on us at the last minute and Beatrice stepped in with almost no notice to look after Sasha. She was really easy to deal with and made us feel completely at ease about leaving her. She kept sending photos and you could tell Sasha felt welcome and really enjoyed the walks to the beach. She looked properly happy and relaxed the whole time. Beatrice’s dog also welcomed Sasha home and was so playful and relaxed with her, which made a big difference. We’ll definitely be asking her again. 100% recommended.”
