Veronika looked after our laborador, Max, in our home and took great care and patience to get to know him and to provide him with the best possible care and love. He clearly enjoyed her company and felt safe with her. I had regular updates, videos and photos so I could see how Max was getting on. Veronika also took great care of our house. I wouldn't hesitate to have Veronika look after Max again.

Edita was great with our 2 year old fluff ball! She took excellent care of him for a week and the house was left immaculate. She sent us regular updates and photos, so we knew he was happy and having a great time! Edita was super flexible in arranging an initial meet and greet and staying with our boy until our delayed flight landed back in the UK. Would 1000% recommend and welcome her back again, which we know our pup would enjoy too!

Emma is so lovely and kind. My older cat isn't normally a fan of strangers but she liked Emma from the moment she came in. Emma looked after both of my cats how I would. Will ask Emma to look after then again.

Nina looked after our french bulldog Bella in our own home for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) whilst my family & I went to a family wedding. Beforehand, Nina gladly came over to meet Bella, finding out everything she needed to know in order to look after her well. This included checking Bella's routine, diet, habits etc. We knew that Nina would be popping in throughout the weekend but we feel that she went above and beyond. As we felt Bella did not need overnight visits, Nina came first thing in the morning to let her out etc and stayed for every visit at least 2-3 hours - visiting throughout the day for extended periods, before settling her for bed. Nina also sent us regular photos and videos which reassured us that Bella was being well cared for. In addition, Nina helped to train Bella which was definitely an added bonus. We 100% trusted Nina & could not have found a better dog sitter. We would absolutely recommend Nina to anyone requiring a pet sitter. Thank you so much for taking care of our family dog so well x

Tianna came over to meet Freddie before the dates of the booking to run through things and meet him. She got on well with him and took time to Understand him. He’s a lurcher and a bit of a wuss lol. Oniy my second time away from him. Freddie was really well cared for and loved Tianna staying. He slept with her and she kept in touch and checked things so he didn’t fret too much She’s a kind responsible person who I thoroughly trusted and would recommend. Freddie is now trying to find her! Come back Tianna lol 🐶🐾

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

About: I'm a Psychology Undergrad at Cambridge Uni but a dog handler in my summer holidays! The one thing all my extended family and parent's friends knew about me as a child was my dog mad reputation. From toddlerhood, I would smile the biggest smiles when I got to meet a dog. My parents would make up for not getting me a dog by dog sitting our friend's dogs, often for weeks. A large brown lab called Denby was only rivaled by Kate, a golden King Charles Cavelier, in my affections, and both would greet me with wags that shook their whole body, accompanied with enthusiastic noises and licking, when their owners passed them over. On two week camps we would go on every year with a large friendgroup, I would always be found cuddling Tickles, another King Charles Cavelier but gorgeously tricoloured. Honestly my love affairs with dogs are endless! Every evening after we moved at 13, I played with the neighbour's border terriers, teaching them routines we performed together. I loved it so much I set up a dog training/walking/sitting business in my gap year by posting a film of my routines with them on local facebook sites, and got clients whose dogs I've already been handling professinally. I've been training a Bichon Frise called Rolo every week, who now knows how to sit, come when called and high five me, and dog sitting an adorable King Charles Cavelier puppy Freddie as well as a wolf-like German Shepherd/Malinois cross called Hugo. My clients love me and have already written me glowing reviews for my second video on Facebook, but I'll only pick illustrative quotes from their reviews here, as you can read them in full on the Review section of my page: As Freddie's mum says I "took notes as I was telling her about his routines which really impressed me" and "sent me frequent photos and videos while she was looking after him which was really thoughtful and helpful" - I do this with all my clients and it's my pleasure to. As she also says, I'm "very knowledgeable about dogs" and "even demonstrated to us how to get him to do certain things" - I'll happily give bonus dog training during the sit if you tip me £5! If you go with me, your dog will be smothered in love and you'll feel so safe leaving them in my hands. My promise 🤗 because its my pleasure 😄 Cambridge Uni has short, 8 week terms - the rest of the time I'm on holiday (Christmas, Easter and a 3 month Summer break!) and would love to dogsit! As Freddie's owner who I puppysat for said in a review she wrote me for my Facebook dog ad, I "took notes as I was telling her about his routines which really impressed me" and "sent me frequent photos and videos while she was looking after him which was really thoughtful and helpful" - I do this with all my clients and it's my pleasure to. As she also says, I'm "very knowledgeable about dogs" and "even demonstrated to us how to get him to do certain things" - I'll happily give bonus dog training during the sit if you tip me £5! Just let me know what you want and you know it's going to happen 😊. My promise because its my pleasure 😊.

Sarah was amazing - ran with unintentional chaos like a pro, spoilt Bernie rotten and generally treated both of us like members of her family. Just the support system I needed and a great communicator. I'm pretty sure Bernie was deeply disappointed that she wasn't a permanent addition.

Hannah & Aiden are both lovely. We are 100% going to get them to sit for us again. They had our two rescue dogs and our puppy for a week, and all of the dogs felt at ease with them right from the get go. Two of our dogs suffer from anxiety and it's often a struggle for new people to get them into their harnesses and out walking initially, but Aiden and Hannah had no issues. They even managed to do medication. All the dogs had lovely walks and we got lots of nice photos back. Some people are just naturals with animals and animals feel safe with them, so we are really greatful to have found them.

I also run my own professional pet care business, where I provide trusted pet sitting, dog walking and pop-in visits for a wide range of pets. I’m experienced in caring for puppies, senior pets and pets with additional medical needs, including administering medication and insulin injections for diabetic cats. About: I am a reliable and intuitive pet sitter with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for animals, having grown up with a father who was a vet. From an early age I learned not just the joy of having pets, but the responsibility that comes with properly caring for them - understanding animal behaviour, recognising subtle changes in health or mood, and appreciating the importance of routine and preventative care. Each animal has its own personality and needs, and I take time to build trust and provide calm, consistent care. As a mature and responsible mother, I am organised, dependable and respectful of both homes and routines. I understand how important peace of mind is when leaving a beloved pet, and I am committed to ensuring animals feel safe, well exercised, loved and thoroughly cared for while their owners are away. I work from home and can fit all pet care needs into a relaxed routine that works for your dog. I like to walk in the morning, after breakfast and depending on appetite often have another little perambulation in the afternoon Often it’s better for dogs to be in their own routine at home when their owners are away. Im happy to offer this service and will be with your dog/s for cuddles, feeding, walks and playtime. Please provide any details of routines you like maintained for me to implement. If home sitting doesn’t suit you, I can offer a home boarding service. I have a large home with a fenced garden and lots of fantastic countryside walks direct from my door. I have 2 friendly dogs to keep your pet company but will only take one dog into my home at any one time, so you can be assured they will get lots of love and attention. I am happy to accommodate a crate for your dog to sleep in, if that is their routine, and I am at home during the day for multiple toilet pit-stops and lots of attention.

About: Ive always been in an animal environment, growing up on a small holding and having dogs as part of the family unit. I've walked lots of dogs as part of my previous role as a carer which involved walking the customers companion. The daily dog walks were a lovely part of the role and gave the customer the reassurance their beloved pet was getting all the daily physical requirements as well as all the love they need. Lots of flexibility . I can usually provide services at short notice l. At home there are two young people 16, 9 but no pets at the current time I have a small front garden suitable for quick wee breaks and I'm close to amazing north Dorset countryside with some fantastic walks. The walks are varied depending on the dogs requirements for exercise.

About: Hi, I’m Elsie! I’m a huge animal lover with over two years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy veterinary practice. My role gave me a great understanding of pet health, behaviour and the importance of keeping animals calm, comfortable and well cared for and completed many courses to help develop my knowledge in these areas of animal care. It also confirmed that I wanted animals to remain a big part of my life! I have three pets of my own who mean the world to me, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member! I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I now work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pets receive lots of company throughout the day rather than being left alone. I can help with dog walking, drop in visits, daycare or overnight care, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. During visits I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, walks, plenty of fuss and regular photo updates, so you’ll always know how they’re getting on. Dog walks can be tailored to your pet’s age, energy levels and routine, whether they prefer a gentle 30 minute stroll or a longer adventure. Every pet has a different personality, and I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit them, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior or just need a little extra reassurance. Thanks to my veterinary background, I’m also confident recognising if something doesn’t seem quite right and would contact you immediately while seeking veterinary advice if needed. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and provide them with a safe, caring and happy home away from home. I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my day. One of the things I missed most after leaving my role at a veterinary practice was being around animals, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to continue doing something I genuinely love. Because I work from home, I can provide lots of companionship, regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and can be flexible with drop off, pick up and visit times where possible. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. Having worked in a veterinary practice for over two years, I’m confident recognising when something isn’t quite right and know how important it is to stay calm and communicate with owners. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any instructions carefully. I live in a clean, calm home and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

It was such a relief having Imogen looking after Roma so that I was freed up to have some time out. I sorely need this as I am also my husband's primary carer and I don't often have the time just to pursue my own interests. Imogen and Roma got on famously and he loved his time with her. She was very sensitive to the situation here and went above and beyond what was asked of her. Lots of little things just taken care of without my asking. Imogen has a real affinity with animals and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a house sitter. You will be in very safe hands with your pets as well as your home.

Ieuan was absolutely perfect for looking after Raffie, our 4 year old rescued failed sheep dog. They had a lovely walk together and Ieuan then kept him company for the rest of the day. Ieuan was extremely prompt in replying to my enquiry and very helpful with my questions regarding Rover as this was our first time of using them. I shall definitely use Ieuan again- if he is available!! Thank you so much. It made my day away so much more enjoyable knowing that Raffie was in safe hands.
