The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. About: I have 1 gorgeous Goldador at home.I have experience with newborn puppies as my parents oldest dog has had 2 litters (1st with 10 puppies (1 of them is my fur baby!) and 2nd with 7) so I am capable of looking after lots of dogs at a time and can handle stressful situations. All of my dogs are active at and when at home I take them on long walks daily and make sure they are mentally stimulated. Both of them are very well behaved and I trained them myself and to a very high standard (can do a variety of tricks). I love dogs all shapes and sizes and can easily adapt to any situation. About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

We love to play with our guests (I have 2 teenaged sons who join in) & they get plenty of cuddles. We also go to the coast for walks, depending on your dog’s abilities and needs. Dogs can sleep alone, crated or with the pack anywhere in our home. We want them to feel comfortable. All we ask is that you bring their lead, food & any medication, we’ll do the rest (beds & bowls optional at your discretion). Daily Schedule: I am based at home, I don’t have another job and don’t have small children to look after. Looking after your dogs is my priority. Pet care is the schedule. Your dogs won’t be left to fend for themselves at all. Safety, Trust & Environment: I have 2 dogs of my own to keep yours company and a large fenced, secure garden. It’s relaxed, happy and we put safety & happiness first. We welcome “meet & greets” so you & your dog can have a sniff about (!) and you can see how we work. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a while, i’m patient and will understand any needs you may described from me. From Tibetan Terriers to Rottweilers. I currently work 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. So early morning or late afternoon suits me best and any time on the weekends i’m easy going really. Tianna suggested day care as a better option for socialisation, which shows how much she cares about what’s best for the dogs. Nala, Tianna's dog, is already used to being around other dogs, so this was perfect. I would definitely use Tianna’s services again—she’s thoughtful, professional, and clearly loves what she does!”
About: I have always had dogs, amongst various other animals, growing up and have been given responsibility with them from a young age. Over the last four/five years I have done various dog and house sitting, for a range of times and with up to two dogs. I am currently doing a Uni course with the Open University therefore all online. Which means I have plenty of time to play with and prioritise your pets. I will only be dog sitting in others houses and I don’t have the room in my own home but anything that is needed for you dog will be done.

About: I have lived on a farm and looked after various animal breeds throughout my life, which has given me extensive hands on experience and a deep love for all animals. I’ve also adopted elephants in Thailand and worked alongside vets, and I volunteered at a horse and donkey sanctuary while doing my law degree. I offer care for your pets in your home. I live in Shoscombe with my cat and my partner. If needed, I can take your dogs on multiple walks, as I love exercise and I also adore horses too! About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 5+ years, plus having pets growing up taught me a lot. References available on request. I have lovely clients and I adore all the pets I get to visit and spend time with :) I’m Self-Employed so am pretty flexible. I currently work from home so scheduling shouldn’t really be a problem. Occasionally Fridays I cannot do, but we can discuss dates etc. I always love walking them and exploring, we spend good time outside :) whatever they need! Cuddles too. We live in the countryside so plenty of space

About: Family and friends have trusted me to look after their family pets for years, I love being outside but also having a snuggle on the sofa. We have a large enclosed garden with the door that is usually always open for free play inside or outside. I’m currently setting up my own business so I am home all day every day so am around for your dog to have company all the time. I have a large fenced in garden and live near a large field where lots of people take their dogs for walks. I have space to be able to crate dogs if needed.
About: I have 1 gorgeous Goldador at home.I have experience with newborn puppies as my parents oldest dog has had 2 litters (1st with 10 puppies (1 of them is my fur baby!) and 2nd with 7) so I am capable of looking after lots of dogs at a time and can handle stressful situations. All of my dogs are active at and when at home I take them on long walks daily and make sure they are mentally stimulated. Both of them are very well behaved and I trained them myself and to a very high standard (can do a variety of tricks). I love dogs all shapes and sizes and can easily adapt to any situation. I look forward to meeting your dog and hopefully they will become my new best friend!! I am at home in Norwich for the summer until I go back to university at the end of September and will be available weekdays and weekends with notice I will happily spend time with your dogs in your garden or take them on one of my favourite walking routes to make sure they have the best time with me :)

About: I got my first dog when I was 12 and have never been without one since then! I often look after friend’s and families dogs. I work from home so have all day to devote to looking after your dogs. Very happy to have dogs for a day or overnight. I have a fenced garden, and long and short walks from my door step.
