Throughout my life, I’ve lived with one, two, and sometimes even three dogs at the same time of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I have completed basic dog training courses and spent 10 years volunteering at a dog and cat shelter, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals, supporting rescues, and helping with adoption processes. I am confident handling both small and large dogs and can comfortably walk multiple dogs at once in a safe and calm manner. I genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s going for long walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive plenty of care, affection, exercise, and attention. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I would be delighted to help care for your furry family members. I am currently not working, which means I can fully dedicate my time and attention to caring for pets. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends, for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love to make pet care my long-term profession. In the near future, I am planning to take professional canine behaviour and dog training courses to further improve my knowledge and skills as a future dog trainer. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship, while following their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and relaxed when leaving their pets in someone else’s care, so I always provide a calm, caring, and reliable environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking routines, medication, training, and any special requirements. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, including energetic dogs, shy pets, and senior animals. During walks, I stay attentive and safety-conscious at all times, and I am comfortable handling multiple dogs when needed. I also make sure pets receive regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel reassured while they are away. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect, as if they were my own.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

About: I’ve grown up and looked after dogs my whole life. All shapes and sizes. I am fortunate to have a large fenced garden and surround by nothing but fields. I like nothing better than to be out in the fresh air normally accompanied by my gorgeous Viszla. I am currently not working so am at home and free all day. I walk my dog twice a day for an hour at a time. I have an enclosed garden and a very friendly Viszla who is very sociable and on dry days spends most of it outside. Her choice.

“Stanley had his first visit with Sarah today. I think he had the best time even though the weather was poor. Sarah gave him plenty of play time and affection and they are now firm friends. We are delighted to have found someone who is so good with animals and suited to our dog. Sarah is a lovely empathetic person and we hope that Stanley will visit her many times in the future.”

About: I have looked after dogs ever since I was like 13 and I’m always getting an asked to watch neighbours dogs and take them for walks and dog sit so I thought I would come in here and try I currently work with a agency so normally I only have to work six till like 2:30 and sometimes I get a whole week off so I am always available and I always have my weekends My environment where I live is the best place to have a pet because there’s a huge garden and there’s just so much space where I live and they would just love it. There’s always a cheeky little treats.

I have experience training young dogs to grow into well behaved, fun loving dogs that are a joy to look after. Having looked after dogs of all ages I have experience providing the specialised care that they require at different stages of their lives.
