About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

During walks, I stay attentive and safety-conscious at all times, and I am comfortable handling multiple dogs when needed. About: I love dogs and have had dogs in my life and now have one of my own, I tend to think of them before me :) I love the walks and understand puppys and how they need confidence boosts and love! As well as a little discipline, saying that if it is a pup under a year old Il happily take on your training needs if there are specific things and words you have been using. I am freelance and have much time for big walks and lots of love. Easy going and can cater to your individual way of doing things :) look forward to meeting you. My dog, Wicket is incredibly friendly he is not territorial of his home and welcomes anyone in, he's very good with young and old dogs, he's pretty submissive but loves to play. About: I’ve grown up and looked after dogs my whole life. All shapes and sizes. I am fortunate to have a large fenced garden and surround by nothing but fields. I like nothing better than to be out in the fresh air normally accompanied by my gorgeous Viszla. I am currently not working so am at home and free all day. I walk my dog twice a day for an hour at a time. I have an enclosed garden and a very friendly Viszla who is very sociable and on dry days spends most of it outside. Her choice.

He settled quickly and Allana sent reassuring photos, videos and messages throughout the day. She was kindly very flexible on pick up time which was a lot of pressure off us. About: I raised my 5 year old cocker spaniel, who loves ditch-the-bowl training. I'm a freelance outdoor instructor offering stimulating, long winter walks with new scents to enrich happy dogs. My two dogs enjoy morning and evening walks. With the garden always open, I provide 1-2 long weekday walks and adventurous weekend outings away from Sherborne. My garden is fenced, so they cannot escape. My two dogs will keep your dog company who are both very friendly and are used to other dogs staying. If they were to travel in the van I have seat belt clips, clips and a crate in the rear. I have a crate if your dog needs it's own space in the house too (Rusty sleeps under the stairs and Indi can sleep in our bedroom, so your dog can either sleep in the kitchen or living room). If you needed me to stay at your house, then I don't have to bring my dogs as my partner also works from home. We love dogs! We don't have children so they get a lot of fuss. I tend to use kibble/treats on their first walk with a retractable lead, to get a sense of recall and connection with the dog.

About: We have looked after a number of dog breeds over the years, supporting with day care activities or pop in sessions to check/take-care of needs We work flexible and there is always someone at home. I’m an early riser so ready for some early walks or to take care of morning activities. We have a good size garden (part fenced). We have a large downstairs area for dogs and cats to find their spot to relax at.

I have experience of dog sitting different breeds. I have recently trained a cocker spaniel with basic gun dog skills and he has recently gone on to live in a shooting family. I have also owned horses. I offer a friendly loving home environment where I will make your precious pet feel at home and safe. I work from home and so I am home all day.
