“Emma looked after our two dogs while we were away, taking them out for their daily walks or just playing with them due to the heat. This was the first time anyone outside of our family had walked them, and it was clear from the updates and photos that they had an amazing time in Emma’s care. We were kept informed every day with messages and pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Emma again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, caring, and professional pet care. Thank you, Emma!”

About: Hello and thank you for considering me to look after your furbaby. I've been an animal lover all my life and I've been a mum to four dogs (a chihuahua, a fox terrier mix, a Scottish terrier and an American Pitbull), 2 ragdoll cats, one rabbit, one pet rat, several parrots and budgies, two turtles and 3 goldfish. I now live in Ilchester with my husband and two cats. I'm really interested in pet nutrition, wellbeing and enrichment and I love spending time with furry, feathered or scaly friends. I have experience with shy/nervous dogs as two of our family dogs were quite timid around strangers. I'm fit and active so walks are never a problem and I enjoy providing some indoor play / training exercises too for curious doggies. I'm just as happy cuddling on the couch if you have a more laid back or senior pup. I know how daunting it can be to find someone to look after my pets when we go away so I decided to offer my services to people in my area. I'm lucky to be working from home so I won't have to leave your pet for long periods of time during the day. If you need someone to look after your dog or cat while you take a much deserved holiday, I'd be happy to help. I work from home as a part time marketing manager, which makes pet sitting possible. My schedule is also very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I know how worrying it can be when you're leaving your furbaby with someone else. During my stay I'll be sure to follow your pet's routine and any special instructions I'm given. I'm also happy to provide regular updates and photos. Your pet's wellbeing is my most important priority and I'll treat them with as much love and care as I would my own.

“Fiona is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for someone to look after your pet… our little mini dachshund was very happy with her for the few hours we needed care. Absolutely would request her if ever in the area again!”

“Tianna was great when we contacted her at short notice to request a walk for our doodle puppy. She promptly came to meet him and get to know him. As a puppy he’s not used to being left for too longer period so it was great that Tianna was able to take him out and make s fuss of him so that when we returned home he was calm and settled . Thanks Tianna we hope you will continue to provide walks for Barley when needed in the future.”

“Zoe was able to walk my dog last minute as I had to leave him at home unexpectedly. He is a bit of an anxious dog and Zoe took the time to let him get comfortable with her and sent me written updates and pictures :)”

I don’t personally own a dog at the moment but i’m mainly into walking dogs so it’s just that for the time being
About: I’m a registered Veterinary Nurse currently working in a referral hospital in Somerset, with 8 years of experience in the veterinary industry. Caring for animals isn’t just my job - it’s genuinely what I love to do. Alongside nursing, I’m also a student dog trainer with the Professional Association of Canine Trainers, which means I’m continually expanding my knowledge of behaviour, positive reinforcement, and stress-free handling. I’m especially confident working with nervous, reactive, senior, or medical-needs pets. I’ve been pet sitting professionally on and off since I was 16, caring for everything from puppies and kittens to elderly pets needing medication and extra TLC. With my veterinary background, you can feel reassured that your pet is in safe, capable hands - whether that’s administering medication, monitoring ongoing conditions, or simply knowing what’s normal and what isn’t. Due to working night shifts at the hospital, I’ll be offering pet sitting during my weeks off, meaning your pets will receive my full attention and dedicated care while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your animals - they’re family. My aim is always to keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free in their own environment, while giving owners complete peace of mind with regular updates and photos. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. As a registered Veterinary Nurse working in a referral hospital, caring for animals is what I do every day - from monitoring health and administering medications to ensuring patients feel safe and comfortable. When I’m pet sitting (during my weeks off from night shifts), I structure my day around the pets in my care. This means walks, feeding times, play, enrichment, training practice if appropriate, and plenty of one-to-one attention and affection. I’m very used to adapting routines to suit individual pets, whether they’re high-energy and adventurous or prefer a calm, steady environment. Because of my veterinary and training background, I’m also confident incorporating medication schedules, behavioural support, or specific care plans into the day if needed. Your pet’s routine, comfort, and wellbeing will always be my priority. When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I understand how important consistency is for animals, so I follow their usual schedule closely - from feeding times to walk routines and bedtime habits. Toilet breaks are provided as often as required, and dogs are walked in their usual local areas (unless otherwise requested), helping them feel secure in familiar surroundings. Whether your dog enjoys long adventure walks or shorter, slower strolls, I tailor exercise to suit their age, breed, and energy level. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality - whether that’s extra playtime, enrichment activities, medication administration, training reinforcement, or simply quiet companionship. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed while you’re away, as if their routine hasn’t changed at all.

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

“Lauren was great. While we were at a wedding in a new area, she walked our dog and also popped back later to let him out for the loo again. She also popped by the evening before briefly to meet him first. She was very friendly and our dog seemed to enjoy her company and playing with her. Recommend.”

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs from the age of 18, looking after my parents small dogs (Cavaliers) and large dogs (standard poodles) for months at a time when they would go on holiday. I have carried numerous dog / house sits for friends and family, ranging from small to big dogs, puppies and cats. In 2025 and early 2026, I travelled for 10 months around Europe, New Zealand and Australia and was hired for 5 x dog sits in Australia over the last 2 months of my stay. Two 10 day sits, and three 3-6 day sits. I have experience with handling and administering medication, with a recent sit, all three pets requiring AM and PM medication. I work remotely from my laptop full time, so can give around the clock attention to your beloved pets & take great care of your house. I am incredibly organized, neat and tidy. Early morning person who can adapt to any pet's routine. I am great at sending updates during a sit, so if you wish to only receive one update and one photo please let me know and I'll make sure not to send any more than this! If you have a particularly shy or harder dog to deal with then please do not hesitate to contact me as I am confident and love a challenge. Barking does not bother me as it is just them expressing how they are feeling. About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)
