About: I got my first dog when I was 12 and have never been without one since then! I often look after friend’s and families dogs. I work from home so have all day to devote to looking after your dogs. Very happy to have dogs for a day or overnight. I have a fenced garden, and long and short walks from my door step. I have a sweet female golden retriever who loves all dogs.
About: I grew up in the countryside with a large menagerie of animals and then went into pet sitting. I have several regular clients who book me on repeat every year because I provide a great level of care for their pets. Genuine animal lover and love getting out and about in the countryside with a four legged friend or 3. Fun, fresh air and snuggles guaranteed. I work from home and I'm self employed which means I'm free to go for walkies whenever it's needed and I'm always with your pet to keep them company. I have a home educated daughter who is a real animal lover and has grown up pet sitting with me since she was a few months old. We both love to get out and about in the countryside and love the company of a dog or two on our rambles. We know the area well and always seek out great dog walks and places for them to play. I have a fenced garden and a warm, cosy home where pets can hop onto the bed or sofas for cuddles. I live on the edge of the countryside so only 5 minutes walk before we reach open fields, hills and streams for playtime. I have been pet sitting for many years and always take impeccable care of their homes and pets.

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals and have been caring for them as long as I can remember. I come from a farming background so have lots of experience with a variety of animals and taught me how to cater to their individual needs. I also have experience with both more elderly dogs and young pups which has allowed me to understand and provide care specialised to their needs. I am an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors so would ensure your animals get all the exercise and enrichment they need. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine, as I am available from the afternoon onwards on weekdays and throughout the weekend. I am organised and reliable, ensuring I have plenty of time to provide each pet with the care, attention and companionship they need while following their usual routine as closely as possible. I understand that trust is essential when caring for someone else's pet and home. I will always follow your instructions carefully, maintain your pet's usual routine, and ensure they are safe, comfortable and well cared for. I will treat your home with respect, keep it secure, and provide regular updates for your peace of mind.

About: I’m a seasoned pet sitter with 4+ years of experience and a full house of my own. I’m confident in administering medication, including insulin, and I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds — from fluffy long-hairs that need regular grooming to independent farm or feral cats. I have a company called Woofs & Whiskers, which provides pet and house sitting, which allows me to offer a wide range of availability during weekdays, weekends and school holidays (day and night). To supplement this during quieter months, I work as a bank support worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Working on the bank (0 hour contract) allows me to prioritise my I know that leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care takes a huge amount of trust. My aim is always to make things as familiar, calm and consistent as possible for your pets while you’re away, and to give you the reassurance that they’re being well cared for. Wherever possible, I will maintain your pet’s usual routine, including their normal feeding times, walks, bedtime routines and the little habits that help them feel secure. I’m happy to administer medication, follow specialist or prescribed diets, and work with any individual care instructions you provide. For dogs, I will initially stick to walking routes and areas they already know, rather than introducing unfamiliar places straight away. Once we’ve built a relationship and I understand their personality, behaviour and recall, we can agree whether exploring further afield or walking off lead is appropriate. Building trust and a positive relationship with your pets is really important to me. I’ll take things at their pace, particularly with pets who are nervous, anxious or simply need a little longer to decide whether I’m worthy of their approval! I’m equally respectful of the fact that I’m being trusted with your home as well as your pets. I will only use or enter the areas of your home that are necessary for their care and will always aim to leave your home exactly as I found it. While you’re away, I’ll maintain regular contact and updates, including photos and messages as agreed, so you know how everyone is getting on without having to wonder or chase for information. I am fully insured for pet sitting and am very happy to provide a copy of my insurance documentation for your reassurance. Most importantly, I want you to be able to go away knowing that your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for by someone who will treat them, their routines and your home with respect.

About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

About: We were never allowed a dog when we were little (my and my sister) but then we inherited a dog from my grandparents and she couldn’t fit better to our slightly strange family - she was ridiculous and so funny. Lived till 16 and could’ve gone a bit longer but we decided that with her health issues it was better to say goodbye to her. That was last September and I still miss her like hell so connecting with other dogs makes this whole situation a bit better. I’m a freelance chef although I work very little in that area now. I also work online so can work from any location as long as I’ve got WiFi. That gives me a lot of time to provide the animals I take care of with lots of attention. I love finding out about their favourite toys or snacks to make the process of their parents being away easier. I’m very loving and caring, treat them like my own.
About: I have lived on a farm and looked after various animal breeds throughout my life, which has given me extensive hands on experience and a deep love for all animals. I’ve also adopted elephants in Thailand and worked alongside vets, and I volunteered at a horse and donkey sanctuary while doing my law degree. I can care for all types of pets with confidence, drawing on my knowledge of different breeds and their needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and passionate about providing the best care, always ensuring animals feel safe, happy, and well looked after. I have plenty of free time to care for your animals, whether it’s walking, grooming, companionship, or looking after them while you’re away on holiday. I joined this site a few years ago but never completed all the details. I have now returned to ensure I pursue this work, as my dream is to one day open a sanctuary abroad for dogs, cats, and horses. I offer care for your pets in your home. I live in Shoscombe with my cat and my partner. If needed, I can take your dogs on multiple walks, as I love exercise and I also adore horses too! Any farms are welcome, as I currently have a retired sports horse.

About: Hi, I’m Elsie! I’m a huge animal lover with over two years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy veterinary practice. My role gave me a great understanding of pet health, behaviour and the importance of keeping animals calm, comfortable and well cared for and completed many courses to help develop my knowledge in these areas of animal care. It also confirmed that I wanted animals to remain a big part of my life! I have three pets of my own who mean the world to me, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member! I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I now work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pets receive lots of company throughout the day rather than being left alone. I can help with dog walking, drop in visits, daycare or overnight care, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. During visits I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, walks, plenty of fuss and regular photo updates, so you’ll always know how they’re getting on. Dog walks can be tailored to your pet’s age, energy levels and routine, whether they prefer a gentle 30 minute stroll or a longer adventure. Every pet has a different personality, and I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit them, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior or just need a little extra reassurance. Thanks to my veterinary background, I’m also confident recognising if something doesn’t seem quite right and would contact you immediately while seeking veterinary advice if needed. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and provide them with a safe, caring and happy home away from home. I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my day. One of the things I missed most after leaving my role at a veterinary practice was being around animals, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to continue doing something I genuinely love. Because I work from home, I can provide lots of companionship, regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and can be flexible with drop off, pick up and visit times where possible. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. Having worked in a veterinary practice for over two years, I’m confident recognising when something isn’t quite right and know how important it is to stay calm and communicate with owners. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any instructions carefully. I live in a clean, calm home and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.
