About: Hi, I’m Elsie! I’m a huge animal lover with over two years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy veterinary practice. My role gave me a great understanding of pet health, behaviour and the importance of keeping animals calm, comfortable and well cared for and completed many courses to help develop my knowledge in these areas of animal care. It also confirmed that I wanted animals to remain a big part of my life! I have three pets of my own who mean the world to me, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member! I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I now work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pets receive lots of company throughout the day rather than being left alone. I’m confident in administering medication, including insulin, and I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds — from fluffy long-hairs that need regular grooming to independent farm or feral cats. Working on the bank (0 hour contract) allows me to prioritise my I know that leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care takes a huge amount of trust. My aim is always to make things as familiar, calm and consistent as possible for your pets while you’re away, and to give you the reassurance that they’re being well cared for. Wherever possible, I will maintain your pet’s usual routine, including their normal feeding times, walks, bedtime routines and the little habits that help them feel secure. I’m happy to administer medication, follow specialist or prescribed diets, and work with any individual care instructions you provide. For dogs, I will initially stick to walking routes and areas they already know, rather than introducing unfamiliar places straight away. Once we’ve built a relationship and I understand their personality, behaviour and recall, we can agree whether exploring further afield or walking off lead is appropriate. Building trust and a positive relationship with your pets is really important to me. I’ll take things at their pace, particularly with pets who are nervous, anxious or simply need a little longer to decide whether I’m worthy of their approval! I’m equally respectful of the fact that I’m being trusted with your home as well as your pets. I will only use or enter the areas of your home that are necessary for their care and will always aim to leave your home exactly as I found it. While you’re away, I’ll maintain regular contact and updates, including photos and messages as agreed, so you know how everyone is getting on without having to wonder or chase for information. I am fully insured for pet sitting and am very happy to provide a copy of my insurance documentation for your reassurance. Most importantly, I want you to be able to go away knowing that your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for by someone who will treat them, their routines and your home with respect.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life. I have one female Cocker Spaniel. I have had various different breeds of dogs over the years and have trained a fair few puppies. I have experience of dog sitting different breeds. I have recently trained a cocker spaniel with basic gun dog skills and he has recently gone on to live in a shooting family. About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

About: Dog walking and dog/cat sitting services offered. Your dog will get a chance to practice his/her training skills that they may have while we walk. Will also be observed when he/she is been taken care of, including basic health checks to ensure they are in a good condition to be exercised. I have always had cats in my life and I I offer a caring service that is individually suited to your pet. I have volunteered at a dog's home in San Diego working with dogs that had certain issues arising from neglect, and have also volunteered at Abbotsleigh. I have looked after many animals for friends and have always had very good feedback and recommendations. Distinction* in level 3 animal management so I am well informed on the legislative and legal aspects of pet sitting, and am in the process of applying for insurance.

About: Growing up in country Australia I have been surrounded by all kinds of dogs from rescue greyhounds, senior citizens, and puppies my whole life. I have have a pooch of my own (a double doodle named Ffyn) and would love to take special care of your K9 family. I am experienced in house sitting, walking, and drop ins. I currently own a doodle puppy who would love the company of another dog, young or old. I work from home part of the week and my partner works from home full time. We live in a cottage in the countryside with easy access to beautiful forest and field walks, and have a very comfortable sofa for your pooch to relax on after a nice walk. We have a fully fenced garden and outdoor area. The house with its thick stone walls stays lovely and cool in hot weather where the dogs love to relax inside.

About: I grew up with two border collies. I helped care for them from pups to seniors. I don't have that many photos of me and them together or me and any pet together as I was a bit camera shy. I completely understand what it takes and how much our animals mean to us. From feeding them twice to three times a day, to the hours upon hours of walking I did with them by my side. I really learnt what it was like to care and look after pets. Young and old. I was in control of dog sledging team last winter. Competeing in races and casual sledging. I worked with my mother who fostered a puppy when our dog was senior, so I understand the difference in age and what is required with each stage of an animals life. Catering my experience to whatever stage your pet is at. I am an avid hiker and love taking dogs with me. I have been left friends dogs and cats to feed while they were away. Overall I just love animals. I am very flexible around dates and times. On an average week I will have 2-3 days i can dedicate to your pet. It will take a bit of organizing but I am sure that I can fit around your schedule. I like to listen to the pet owners about their pets, as I believe they know them best. I look to find out all i can about a dog before walks. If I am too come to your home. I like to know if the pet is on any medication. If there is any strict rules the pet follows (like not being allowed in bedrooms) after all it's the pets home. I'm just a visitor. Overall I like to get a sense of the animal and the situation I am coming into.

About: I have lived on a farm and looked after various animal breeds throughout my life, which has given me extensive hands on experience and a deep love for all animals. I’ve also adopted elephants in Thailand and worked alongside vets, and I volunteered at a horse and donkey sanctuary while doing my law degree.
